The jeweler took stones from a family ring and helped me design a new ring with those stones. My new ring is exactly what I wanted and the whole team there was so helpful through the entire process. Blake helped me start the design and he was so nice and professional every time I interacted with him. Yazmina was also so sweet and helpful. The jeweler, William, was very informative and I felt confident that he had the skills and knowledge to make my ring perfect! I’m so happy with my ring and my experience at Avonlea jewelers.

I came in with a broken box chain, originally they thought they would have to order the new clasp and pieces and but they were able to find the parts and get it repaired while I waited. Very friendly, knowledgeable staff, necklace is repaired and it seems to be good and sturdy.

My son broke the chain to his new (2 month old) necklace. We took it in to get a new one and the the gentleman who helped us offered to fix the chain free of charge rather than us purchase a new one. Even though I was already willing to spend the money to buy a new one he made sure to take care of us. I really appreciate the effort and time he took to do that.

I went and the store for the first time to get a battery put in my guess watch the ladies that are working are so nice they know a lot about the watches the jewelry anything that I wanted to look at they are just wonderful people I definitely will be back I recommend anyone to go to the store they are fair priced and very very polite and friendly. Today was my first time to Avonlea Jewelers. Rebecca was very helpful and explained everything she was doing and the process. I had three watches which two needed batteries and one needed a pin. One watch was to far gone to be fixed with a new battery and she showed me what it looked like. She did offer to have it looked at to see if it was able to be fixed. Second watch just a battery and it’s up and going and she even set the time on it. Third watch needs a pin and will take a few days to be fixed. They called and told me the price to have it fixed instead of just doing it . I was very pleased with today’s experience. I will be back.

The ladies are wonderful and I had a great time conversing with them. On site jeweler is an added plus. He did a great job repairing a diamond bracelet for me. I love all the extras like gift boxes and gift bags they put your purchases in too.

Dropped off an old ring to be resized and had a battery changed in an old Swiss Army watch. They took care of the watch in a few minutes. Very satisfied with that.The ring wont be ready for about 3 weeks.Ill let you know how that turns out.

I have been going to Avonlea for about 3 or 4 years. My kids have bought necklaces and bracelets for their mom on Mothers day. Ive bought jewelry for my daughters birthday. Laser engraved pocket knives for my kids grandpaws and uncles. Oh, my kids have bought me two case knives with mine and there initials with the year engraved. Love them. And most recently a watch for my oldest son who just graduated from highschool. They are local, personable and take the time to help understand what you are looking for. Overall, a great place to buy jewelry for anyone in the family.

Best place to get your ears pierced in Lumberton if you are over 10! The pricing is the best in Lumberton and the service is over the top excellent. My 11 year old went in to get her ears pierced yesterday and was quite fearful. I got proposed to yesterday and I took my ring back to the original jeweler and they wanted to take 3 weeks to work on it. I dropped it off and took my lunch to really think about it and do some research. I am a local here in Lumberton and decided to look at a few places closer to home. This was the first store to pop up! I called ASAP, Ms. Shelly answered and said that it could be looked at and possibly ready within an hour! I rushed over an hour before they closed and they sized me, ran my ring to the back and got it done. I waited inside and even purchased 2 silicone bands for my fiancé and I. The service was amazing, the hospitality was amazing, and the overall experience was unforgettable. We will be going back and using them as our permanent jewelry store!

Recently took a piece of jewelry from my mothers estate to have it integrated into my wedding ring. William and the staff were very courteous and friendly. Avonlea Jewelry restrung two pearl necklaces for me. One was a box of loose pearls that had been a necklace of my great grandmothers. I had no idea how it looked when she had it, but when I got it back from Avonlea I was so happy. It was beautiful! So thankful I have the chance to wear it now. Also, my other necklace was from my late mother-in-law & I broke it. Avonlea came to the rescue & restrung the pearls individually as the other one. They did fantastic work! It was completed in a timely fashion as well. If youre looking for repairs, stringing of pearls or jewelry in general, you need to see them!

My engagement ring has been broken for more than 20 years. The jeweler where we purchased it was unable to make the repair. My wife bought a crucifix in 2018 at Christmas. Last year, 2020, one of the 5 lacquered inlays dropped off, followed a few weeks later by a second. When I took the jewelery back to be repaired I was told it would be better that it be replaced since lacquer inlays frequently fall off(!!) with frequent cleaning (it has never been cleaned).He then offered to sell me a replacement at full price less 10% (because I returned to my home and retrieved the receipt which they had been unable to find). He offered NO credit for the original crucifix, since, he stated, my wife had not purchased a warranty (she said she wasnt offered that option).I told him I never heard of jewelry wearing out unless it had moving parts. His answer? Thats our policy.Beware when buying there. I believe this is devious and unethical!

They successfully repaired the crystal on my grandmas watch that came with her from Sicily in 1898. My father before me and I have been trying to get that repaired for over 60 years.

I ordered an Anna Beck bracelet online over a month ago. Shortly after I ordered, I was informed that they did not have the bracelet in stock and was offered to either select another item or receive a refund. I chose to receive a full refund. Although Avonlea claims to have processed the refund, I have never received a refund through PayPal or on my credit card. I have emailed Avonlea, and their only response is to claim that the refund has been processed when clearly it has not been processed. Ive had to resort to filing a dispute with PayPal to recover my $402.52. They are either dishonest or incredibly inept at running their business. Caveat Emptor!
