Went here yesterday to get my septum pierced, had an amazing experience! Dominick was very kind and carefully explained the process step by step, he even reminded me of those steps before he did anything during the piercing process. This place uses a retainer for the piercing process, which I like. The retainer hides up your nose for the first 4-5 weeks to expedite the healing process and allows them to properly measure how big/small you want your jewelry will be based on the retainer (since everyones nose is different). Which is nice because then youre not stuck with jewelry you dont like while its healing. Will definitely come back when its healed to buy some jewelry!

Been going to see Dominic for years now for piercings. Before my friend introduced me to him, I had been to many other piercers. There is a difference. He is very professional and very very knowledgeable. Im a scaredy cat and he does a good job chatting it up before getting started which always helps to calm my nerves lol he also does Measurements and shows you exactly where your piercing will be before he does it. He asks great questions to determine best placement.

I went here per a recommendation from a tattoo artist and decided this is where I’m going for piercings from now on. Rebecca was incredibly sweet with booking my appointment. Dom was incredibly professional and knew what he was doing. He even took a look at my other piercings done in another place and replaced the jewelry and cleaned it up. He was very adamant about my double nostril piercing placement being perfect and I was so happy when I saw it, I got emotional. He let me take a break in between them and explained the proper aftercare which was different than what I was told before (resulted in previous piercings not healing well). I appreciate his honesty in how to take care of piercings and his approach to my piercings and him getting them done in a way that was satisfactory. I am so happy with my experience and will come back here for my next piercings

Brother and I went here to get some piercings done. I had my nose re pierced and my brother got his first piercing.(eyebrow) Dominick is the best. He took his time explaining everything, and disinfected every area. Not only that but, he was so easy going and such a pleasure to talk to it felt like we werent getting a piercing. The establishment is very clean and you feel like youre visiting a friends place due to how comfortable he makes you feel. Hes very knowledgeable and skilled. Not only that but, he also makes you feel welcome to ask him any question if youve any concerns. I 100 percent recommend this place, Ill definitely be returning!

This place took really good care of me. I came in for a nose piercing and Dominik was super helpful with the aftercare specifics. He also made sure to measure where the piercing was so I can come back for a well fitted hoop when the piercing healed. 100% will be going back

Very friendly staff. Not a place to get your nose pierced. They put the needle through the thickest part of my cartilage for a nostril piercing. They asked if I liked the placement with how it looked, and did not inform me that it was going through thicker and harder cartilage than if they were to lower it just a little bit to make it an easier piercing and easier healing that would reduce scar tissue. Had a very hard time healing and have permanent scarring on the inside of my nose. Switching from a stud to a hoop was very painful. I waited just under a year to change it and it’s taking weeks to not feel sore. The inside of my nostril is permanently scarred and bigger than the other side. It looks great, but shouldn’t hurt 10.5 months later.

I had an amazing experience! I was greeted by both Dom and Rebecca at the front. Rebecca is extremely friendly and a joy to talk to. Dom, who did my piercing, is also extremely friendly.The shop itself is extremely clean. When I was taken to the back, Dom explained everything he was going to do from the procedure to aftercare. He was also extremely careful with measuring exactly where I wanted the stud on my nose.Dom made the whole experience extremely fast and painless as he talked me through the whole thing as he did it.I highly recommended this shop for all your piercing needs - especially if you’re new to it like me!

By far the best piercing experience I’ve had. Dom did a great job explaining everything and making sure I was okay throughout the process of getting my industrial pierced. While they are highly professional in their practice, they are also warm and make you feel right at home! I’d give it 10 stars if I could.

I had such a great experience here! It was like Dom and the staff and I knew each other, it was so easy to talk to them all. Dom pierced my nose and it was a great experience. The absolute best experience Ive ever had at a piercing place hands down! From the moment I walked in, I felt at home. The counter staff was quick to greet and assist me (wish i got her name!) And the piercer Dom took his time to listen to what I wanted, check my anatomy for suitability, and discuss my options. I have quite a few modifications and Im no beginner, so I know what to expect from a reputable place- this exceeded all expectations! They only use internally threaded titanium (important!) And I never felt rushed at all. I knew my procedure was being handled by a professional, so much so that I went back the following week for something else! I would recommend them to anyone looking for a safe and comfortable piercing location. They also do tattoos, but I have yet to experience that part. However the tattoo artist was also very kind and was busy both times, so maybe soon!

My wife and I recently went to Dominic (Nov. 2020).She got her nose done and I got a PA. Dom is extremely professional and talented in his line of work. Everything is clean and comforting and the staff is friendly. Dominic explained the pros and cons to the piercing, the different variations of the piercing, healing times, etc. I never thought I would feel so relaxed and ready. I left there with a slightly different variation of the original piercing I wanted but couldnt be happier! Im so glad I listened to him! I drove from over an hour away based on several recommendations to get pierced by Dom and will be back again.

I just got my Septum pierced and I must say the owner Dom is amazing! Dom was informative and talked me through the whole process. I got my industrial pierced at the worst place ever. my cousin came here for her nose piercing and the experience was fantastic so I figured I would come here to fix my industrial. this is literally the best place ever. I had a GIANT silver bar in my ear and I like wearing dainty gold jewelry, so obviously that didnt fit my aesthetic. the owner went through hell and back to make sure he helped me exactly how I wanted. he didnt have any gold bars, so he literally iodized it to my preference. I love this place so much, the best employees they are so welcoming and I can just go on and on about it.

Came for the first time yesterday, October 14, 2020 for a septum piercing and was not disappointed, as it honestly could not have gone better. Dom was worth my 15 wait (would’ve waited longer) and explained EVERYthing clearly and patiently. I did not feel rushed at all or pressured into getting a piercing at all. I was totally relaxed and he was thorough and explained benefits, cons, proper care, and explained the entire piercing process before he started and then talked through the steps as he did it. I was so nervous that I thought about canceling my appointment, I really don’t have a high tolerance for pain. But Dom told me he has been doing this for 26 years and it definitely shows because it was quick and nearly painless. I’m SO happy I went, and I’m going back in a month or so to get my jewelry switched. Any other piercings I want, I am strictly going to Dom and also recommending him to everyone I know who’s interested. Thank you SO much!

I have to start by saying that Dominick wasnt the person who pierced my nose but he was the person I researched and always ran to when I had concerns about my nose piercing regarding the dreaded piercing bump. This man is truly the kindest/best person ever. He always helped keep me at ease as I had been dealing with a piercing bump for many months which at that point I felt it was on me for good which I was pretty upset about and he helped me get rid of it successfully. Although he wasnt my piercer he welcomed me with open arms every step of the day. I would say this is someone who truly loves what they do beyond a price point. Really awesome guy and would recommend him any day of the week!

Dom is the best!My best friend and I got nose piercings from him and it was one of the best experiences I ever had. He is super friendly and takes his time to explain the pros and cons of your piercing. He shows you step by step what will happen next from drawing on the location of the piecing , to opening up a fresh sterilized needle. He also sends you an email of after care instructions to make sure you know how to take care of it after you’ve left. If there’s any problems, he responds immediately! And he has a great jewelry selection from studs to earrings. Needles to say, it was quick and painless. Happy with my results. Thanks Dom!

When I moved back to NJ my piercing place in CA recommended Invisibleself. I can say, I love coming here whenever I want to change up my jewelry. Dom is super straight forward, will never try to steer you in the wrong direction. Very clean place, and Dom does do all he can for his customers, and is super informative. Not once have I gone here or called and had a bad experience in any way.

I went with a friend back in April to get our nose jewelry changed out because we couldn’t do it ourselves (lol). Every single person in there was so nice! They took their time to help us pick out what sizes we wanted and showed us so many different varieties of styles for our jewelry.I ended up with some beautiful opal nose studs and a septum ring which they put in for me professionally and with basically no discomfort. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Best place to get your piercings done. Owner is very knowledgeable and helpful. He even helped me out with a piercing someone else did (another location) that got infected - with his help it was able to heal perfectly.

I literally never write reviews for places but i felt like i needed to acknowledge this service. earlier today, i decided to change my nose piercing **at another place** and without noticing it, the guy changed the entire gauge and size of piercing (going from 20 to 18) afterwards, i was very uncomfortable as he basically stretched the hole in my nose 2mm without me wanting him to! i decided to try this place because a few of my friends have been here and because of all the good reviews and see if there was anything they can do to alleviate the pain. dom was not only helpful, but gave me so much feedback on the piercing process and how to have a successful piercing. he recommended we change it to a stud just for the healing process because it’s a lot easier on the nose than a hoop and I’m already feeling so much better an hour later. he even offered to help me put in my regular sized ring back when it comes in the mail! thanks so much for your expertise and taking me on such a short notice before closing. such nice people:-)

This is not my usual go-to studio for piercings but I had to stop by for some emergency. Dom was nice and helpful so I truly appreciate that. However at the time he said they do not sell 16G posts for ear piercings. (They only go with 18G I guess) That is the most common gauge I’ve seen anywhere and I only wear 16G so honestly it was a bit disappointing to me that there was no option for 16G.

There arent enough nice things or postive remarks to say about this place. I hadnt gotten a piercing in over 8 years since I lost contact of the only person I trusted with my piercings, a piercer by the name of Dom. After my sis in law found this place after hearing such good things about the piercer I was so happy to find out it was Dom. Went back a few weeks ago and got my neck pierced ( Madison)& he is as helpful, clean, honest, and professional as ever. I would recommend this place and Dom to everyone. He is so patient and explains EVERYTHING step by step. From piercing to healing, just any questions you have he works with you to make sure youre comfortable and excited throughout the process. Trust him, hes the best of the best.

I LOVE this place, never getting pierced or jewelry changed anywhere else. got my belly pierced and they made me feel so safe and calm and didn’t make me feel bad about being nervous. jewelry can be pricey depending on what you pick but you will always get great quality. very specific on aftercare so i knew exactly what to do. extremely clean as well

Just got my septum ring changed here after searching for places. Others were telling me I had to buy the jewelry from them despite not having good selections. They change it for me and I brought my own jewelry. I will definitely be returning here very cool and nice people. They also have amazing selections of jewelry which is a plus because it is hard to find shops that do.

Dom was super helpful and really patient with me. I didn’t get anything pierced but I bought jewelry. He even went as far as to put the jewelry in for me which was super helpful because I probably wouldn’t have been able to put it in myself. Don was great. I just came here to get my cartilage re-pierced because I pulled last one out by mistake trying to clean it. He inform me on everything from jewel, setting and metal choice to aftercare. He talked me through the whole process. I barely felt it and I like that the earring backs are flat and discreet.I will update this review later if need be but this was a great experience so far. Ill definitely be back to switch out my jewel and for some cute ear cuffs.

I called Dominique today around 1pm when they opened, and he was able to squeeze me in to get a nose and cartilage piercing. My experience was very pleasant, and due to the pandemic the piercee was the only person allowed in the shop. Dominique was personal as well as the woman who helped with all of my jewelry. The jewelry beautiful, some are pricey but you should invest in your body. Overall fun experience (the pain worth it).

My daughter went to this place to get her naval pierced and the guy pretty much said that she’s too fat for a naval piercing. She’s 115 pounds. Hey guy, take a lesson from the book of THINGS WE DON’T SAY TO TEENAGE GIRLS!!!I understand your explanation. HOWEVER! Thecomment about her having ROLLS WAS ABSOLUTELYUNNECESSARY! Went here over the weekend to get my first piece done. I had an idea, Erik made it come to life! My wife got a tat done as well, also by Erik. These guys were amazing. They set your mind at ease, and treat you like family. I live over an hour away, and still made the ride because they came highly recommended! I now see why!

I rarely ever leave reviews, but after the disappointing experience I had at Invisibleself Piercing I felt compelled to write this. For almost two months, I have been trying to get a conch piercing done at this establishment. After finding their location on Instagram, I messaged them in reference to an earring I was interested in getting pierced with. To no ones fault, the earring was sold out, thus leading the person I was speaking to to promise to reach out to me when the earring came back in stock. I waited for a little over a week but never heard back from them, I then decided to physically go to the shop (maybe my message got lost, blah, blah, blah). Upon arriving to the shop, I was introduced to Dom (who later revealed that it was he who I spoke to online). Initially, Dom was really nice, he explained that the earring still wasnt in stock but it would be in the shop in a few days. After our conversation, I decided I liked Dom and the shop enough to wait. Whats a few more days for quality, right? WRONG! After another few WEEKS, I still hadnt heard from Dom. I decided to just purchase a similar earring online. I then proceeded to go to the shop AGAIN, only this time I was turned away. He went on to tell me he wouldnt pierce my ear with a foreign earring (which is understandable, he didnt want to jeopardize his integrity). It wasnt WHAT he said that upset me though, it was HOW he said it. He made me feel really uncomfortable. But again, I gave him the benefit of the doubt (maybe he was having an off day). Fast forward to almost a month later, I still havent heard from Dom or the shop (even though on their Instagram page they posted pictures of the earring I was looking for). Long story short, if you want a piercing from this place look elsewhere! All you will get is empty promises and no phone call!

Booked an appointment 2 weeks in advance. Took off of work. Went to the shop they told me that they thought they had texted me a cancelation, and to call and rebook. Never got anything from them. No apology. Horrendous customer service the owner Dom made jokes about screwing me over while I was being refunded my gift certificate. Long story short very unprofessional will never go again. I highly recommend Invisibleself. Dom is very professional and foremost the facility is very CLEAN. He changes his gloves prior to piercing which was very impressive to me and unexpected. Front desk staff is also very helpfull and helps with earing selection.

So a week ago I lost my best friend. My little baby momma - my kitty Checkers - after 13 years. Many years ago I had gotten a tattoo - nothing big - but I loved that experience from the word jump. Fast forward to present day I thought why not immortalize my baby by getting another tattoo ? I looked for places over past few days and EVERY place I called - wanted an evaluation. Than meh - well fit you in down the line. Days or a week or better from the consultation. I was feeling extremely frustrated until I called invisible self !! From The minute I called and started speaking to the receptionist they made me feel extremely comfortable and like a member of their family. I walked in and was amazed at how clean the place was - like you could literally eat off the floor. I was told I would be meeting with Jonathan - he was going to be my artist - and let me just say - he is a God at his craft. And its a craft ! He was patient. Careful. Kind. Considerate. And before he started my tattoo - took the time to work with me to get a design down that Id be happy with and comfortable with. Not up selling me on anything - not telling me to add things that would bring the price up in any way. Nothing. As a Sudo wrestling fan - the dude looks just like Roman Reigns - lol. - as another reviewer had posted. Lol. Spot on looks like him. The whole experience - almost 3 hours in the chair - was beyond smooth. Made another appointment on the spot for Thursday night this week for another tattoo !! Great people. Jonathan was great ! Looking forward to a long lasting relationship with these people. Fantastic !

I had to take out two orbital earrings in my lobes in order to get an MRI. I left them out too long and the holes just got really tight although they did not really close up. I decided (bad decision) to try to open the holes up and insert the hoops myself. Well, after a lot of pain and blood I thought it might be a good idea to go to a professional. But where to go? I did the internet search and chose Invisibleself becasue of all the five star ratings.Dom was great. He got the earrings back in with a little work but zero pain! Nice, after torturing myself. This will definitely be my go-to place for piercing from now on!!

Great experience, got my lobe pierced and it was a quick one, two and im out. They show you all the details on how to maintain and clean the piercing so you are well informed.

I got my septum pierced today by dominic and im so happy with it. Ive had my septum pierced before by someone less experienced and it was hell....but going to invisibleself today was great, not only did it hurt way less(basically didnt hurt at all) but its in a great spot and I can tell once I swap out the retainer its gonna look amazing! Not the biggest selection of jewelery and A bit over priced (but thats bc its in LYNDHURST) bergen county ... Almost $60 for a nose stud I usually pay about $45 at most . Ive been buying piercing jewelry for 20 years .. .. pros : very friendly staff and very clean

I am 13 and got a Helix Piercing here. Dom was extremely nice. He told me the entire process and the pain was 1/10 so I really suggest coming here for any piercings!❤️

I definitely wouldnt recommend, especially if you are new to tattooing. Staff has little interest in your concerns or hearing your suggestions. Their chief interest is in taking your Non Refundable deposit. Which, incidentally, they do not mention at the time you place it. The owner is even worse than the staff - if thats at all possible. When I informed him that the artist and I were not clicking and I wanted to reconsider and get my deposit refunded, he refused, belittled the tattoo I wanted done and then taunted me about how he was going to keep my deposit money. The appointment I made was more than a month away, no work had been done by him or his staff, and they made it pretty clear that they were not really even interested in doing my design, yet he still felt entitled to my $100 and was going to taunt me about it like a child. Unbelievable.

I bought a nose ring here and Dom put it in. I ended up taking it out and replacing with my stud because I have a dual piercing and it just looked way too big next to my other hoop IMO. I would still go back and buy another piece or get a piercing because the shop is clean, close, and owner is kind.

Joe is an awesome artist! He is personable and takes his time. I will definitely recommend Joe to everyone who wants to get a tattoo. His lines are exceptionally well done as well as everything else on my tattoo.
