Had an appointment with Jason to change out my piercings that were originally done at another studio. Very professional and welcoming. He was very educational and my piercings feel a whole lot better with the new jewelry 🙂.

I highly recommend hot rod tattooing to anyone that is needing a tattoo, especially Hannah. Hannah has done all of my tattoos and I couldn’t ask for a better artist doing my work! She takes her time and cares about her artwork, and you can tell! Anyone who hasn’t got tattooed by her needs to!

Creighton Hill is a phenomenal artist and I think the absolute world of him! Carrie, the receptionist, is always so kind and helpful. Pierre Rogers and Autumn have done so many of my piercings I cant even begin to keep track!! As much as the place has changed since Sweet Chucks passing, one thing remains the same- this place is incredible.Going to post my tattoos by Creighton 🖤

I’ve been going to Hot Rods for almost two decades now and they are the best!! When I walk through the door and hear the triple ding of the bell, I know I’m in my happy place. Hannah and Corey have done my work and would highly recommend to anyone!! Each of them have awesome rooms that show off their personalities and makes the experience all the much more exciting. The whole shop staff is fun, welcoming and friendly. I wouldnt go anywhere else locally!! These guys rock!!

From the time you walk through the front door until the time you leave you are treated like family. The staff are all amazing. Corey is one of the best tattoo artists around. Hot Rod is the only place I go to get my tattoos. This shop is clean, friendly and filled with talented artists. Hannah Wilson does exceptional work and makes you feel so comfortable. I always get compliments on my sleeve, that was completely tattooed by Hannah, and I send everyone to this shop! I currently have two more appointments scheduled with her and I cant wait to see the beautiful results!

I was so nervous for my nose piercing, but June made it so easy and unintimidating. They were attentive and explained everything before they did it. I would definitely come back here if I want another piercing.

Love this shop! I’ve gotten tattoos and piercings done here. It’s very clean and professional. All the artists do great work. Each artist regularly does walk in appointments on different days of the week for smaller scale tattoos, and they have walk in days for piercings as well. I personally go to Hannah Wilson and she is amazing! I trusted her to use her imagination to put together a leg sleeve using my inspo boards and she knocked it out of the park. I’ll never go anywhere else!

Hot Rod is fabulous. After going to a handful of other shops, I can say that Hot Rod is definitely one of the most welcoming I’ve been to and IS the most welcoming in the Ohio Valley. The artists are all excellent. The reception staff are great and make you feel right at home. Hannah is who I usually work with and I think she’s the best in the Valley. If you pull something from online, she’ll assuredly knock it out of the park. Where Hannah really excels is when you bring an idea to her. She knows how to perfectly flesh it out and creatively put it all together. Getting tattooed by her is second-to-none. Bonus points for being one of the gentlest artist I’ve ever had. Truly cannot recommend her or this place enough. It’s safe for all kinds of folks and hella clean. No scratchers here!

Ive been getting tattoos and piercings at Hot Rod Tattooing for 13 years and no matter who Ive gone to, Ive always had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere of this shop has always been extremely kind and welcoming. Whether Im getting a small walk-in tattoo, a large multisession piece, a new piercing, or just a simple jewelry change, I know Im in great hands and will be able to collaborate with a knowledgeable, friendly, and experienced tattoo artist or piercer to end up with an amazing result before I leave.

As someone whos HUGE into reading reviews, you learn to really look at whats real experience and whats someone overselling the bad OR the good.However, I dont have enough words to speak to how excellent my experience has been with Hot Rod. I have several pieces with Hannah (and a few more on the books) but I also have art from other artists in this shop as well as others locally and further away.The environment at Hot Rod is such a pleasant one compared to other shops. Artists seem to actually like each other AND their clients.You will not find someone with gentler hands than Han. Shes an absolute dream to get tattooed by and not just because her art is gorgeous. She works incredibly hard to create a SAFE, welcoming, enjoyable experience for clients.There is no replacement for the time an effort and SAFETY that is created by a truly practiced and educated tattoo artist.The only reason I DONT recommend Hannah more is because itll take even longer for me to get in with her.

This place is amazing! My friend and I both got our first tattoos here this week and were super impressed with the results. Corey Cuc did the ukulele one for me, and Matt Emel did my friends sunflower. I had Corey do a memorial tat on my arm for my Dad. The entire experience from stopping in to make the appointment, talking price to actually getting the tattoo was great. It has been about a month now and it has healed up beautifully.

This was supposed to be an elegant airy tattoo to remember my daughter that passed away. 3 years later, I still cry every time see or think of this tattoo. The lack of compassion my artist showed. Continuing to color just to keep me in the seat longer. I was offered $100 gift card which was worthless to me, I would have happily paid more to know I had an artist that was taking care of me. Now, my only option is laser removal and a new tattoo.

I have been tattooed by both Hannah Wilson and Corey Cuc - and they are both fantastic, professional and talented. Absolutely recommend them and Hot rods!

Always excellent they had donuts and bottles of water for anyone in the waiting room or getting inked or pierce could grab some.i thought that was very kind and thoughtful and as always sweetchuck did amazing work he free handed the tattoo Ive wanted for a long time that means so much to in remembrance of my grandmother. Such a lovely crew of staff members with amazing senses of humor :’). It was such an enjoyable time being there and being welcomed with a warm smile from everyone there. They will educate you with the necessary information needed to care for your piercing, treat you like you are a friend that they have known for a long time, and guide you with comfort through the process of everything. I highly recommend coming there for any service that they offer, especially piercings!

I have had many services done at hotrods over the past few years. Including lots of piercings with Autumn for myself and my daughter. Walk in tattoos and a handful of tattoos with Hannah. I really couldnt recommend them enough. It is so clean and everyone there has been nothing but extremely friendly and helpful.

Hot Rod Tattooing is hands-down the best tattoo shop Ive ever been to. Im so glad I chose them for my eighth tattoo. My artist, Hannah Wilson, took a general concept and turned it into an incredible art piece beyond my wildest dreams. The shop is clean, professional, and everyone there is friendly and welcoming. Clean & professional. Our tattooer was Creighton and he did a great job. Ive been pierced by Pierre twice now and have had great results. Highly recommend going here for any tattoos or piercings.

Ive worked with them twice now. I got pierced there in high school & was finally ready for a tattoo in my adulthood. They made me feel incredibly comfortable, are so accommodating, and friendly! Their work is precise & clean with wonderful service! Highly recommend & Creighton is amazing!

I had my consultation appointment to plan a memorial piece I am getting for my dog. They really listened to my ideas and gave their own ideas to make my piece become a reality. I am excited to come back and have it completed.Edit: I had the memorial piece done shortly after my initial review and I love it. I came back today for another tattoo and it looks amazing. Everyone working there seems really chill and kind. This is 100% my go to tattoo place.

Excellent experience. I received a front helix and love it. Pierre was my piercer. Such an amazing guy. Great personality, made me feel completely comfortable and confident in my decision. Literally the nicest people I’ve ever met. Went there to get my bridge done. Turned out I didn’t have the nose for it but he suggested me to get my Medusa and was SUPER nice, funny and made me feel comfortable through the whole entire process. I felt very accepted and welcomed. 11/10 would recommend!

Always a great experience here. On top of the artists Ive dealt with being very professional, the place is clean, the people that work there are polite and chatty. The artists working areas are well organized. Highly recommend going there for your work. The incense was a bit harsh (some cause an allergic reaction in my ears and throat), but that has no bearing on the service.

I am beyond happy that I chose to do a walk in piercing appt. The gentleman/receptionist has such a welcoming vibe. Pierre was my piercer, he was very chill, funny, and most importantly... I feel hes knowledgeable at his job. I would definitely recommend him and hotrods in general. Thank you so much!!!

This place is super clean and friendly. If you are a first timer I highly recommend these guys. There is no attitude or talking down to the clients and they are very helpful. I have gotten several tattoos at Hot Rod (mostly by Cory) and have been treated great every time. Cant say enough good things about these guys and gals.

Incredible and talented people work here. The shop is very clean and professional. Everyone has certifications and they definitely know what theyre doing. Maelin was my artist and is my go to for future work. She did an amazing job and it shows how passionate she is about her work.

I got my nose pierced here a few weeks ago and it was my first time getting a piercing at a professional parlor. I loved my experience and Autumn talked me all the way through the process. Definitely will be going back again!

I have never had a problem with anyone here! I absolutely love this place. However, maelin was very Condescending when I had consulted with her. After thinking about the tattoo I had wanted she told me “good luck finding someone to ruin your life” I will never in my life hand her any of my money. Anyone else in the shop however I would be very pleased to do so. I do not believe maelin should have a place in such a wonderful business with how Condescending she was to me. I will never give her the time of my day.

They do great tattoos and the staff is friendly. The owner is a singer in an awesome heavy metal band. Loved his music. Got to hear it while i was getting my tattoo, By chreighton.

I suffer from migraines. Ive researched for a couple years the daith piercing. I was afraid to get it done but on Labor Day I couldnt stand it anymore and decided to go for it. My head hurt so bad it made me nauseous. I talked to Cheyenne Shunk about this place, he knows them and highly recommended you. Mackenzie Renae Cunard went with me. Pierre did my piercing and he explained everything and I wasnt as nervous. Thank you Pierre!! As soon as I got it done I realized my head wasnt hurting anymore!! And still doing good!! What an awesome place!! Wanting to get another tattoo and when I do, Im getting it here!! 😎

Took my daughter for her 18th birthday to get a nose piercing. It was very clean. The girl who did the piercing was Autumn. She was super friendly and informative. She made it a very good experience.

Each artist is absolutely incredible in their own right. The studio is extremely clean including the restroom! In addition to my tattoos, I have had daith piercings done at Hot Rod. I have looked forward to every appointment and every addition to my body art. I cant imagine the need to ever go anywhere else.

I absolutely love this place! I got all my tats and piercings here and only here! This is the most cleanest and friendliest place ever! And I love corey hes amazing! He did 3 of my tats and about to be 4 here soon! Best place hands down and I love autumn shes awsome! I highly always recommend this place to my friends and family ! Remember when getting a tattoo you get what you pay for! If its cheap its gonna look cheap Id rather pay a price thats steep and have the tat look outstounding then crapy if you pay say like 200 for a 500 dollar tat then ur only getting a 200 dollar quality not 500 thats why I go here bc you get what you pay for everytime ! There top quality here ! This is and where I will always go in the future I dont care if I move outta state when I want a tat I will always make the travel to come here hands down!!

Very patient with an inpatient 6 year old. Moreso than I would be. She wasnt get a tat, she was getting her ears pierced and we wanted a professional to do them. My girlfriend has used them for ink and piercing before and they are nice and professional.

Fair prices...got us in right because of a cancellation. Corey was great!

Absolutely the worst tattoo place ever they told me they would be able to give me a tattoo the same day then when I went in there they told me they couldnt give me a tattoo the same day I also was willing to pay for a tattoo and they told me that they refuse to give me the tattoo that I wanted. They pick and choose their customers and they pick and choose when they want to do them. As long as you have money and willing to pay for the tattoo for should be no problem but this place thinks differently. Never going back.

I have two tattoos, one of which I got at Hot Rod by Randy. I regret getting the other one from somewhere other than Hot Rod. The one that I got from Hot Rod healed better, and was only red for the first 12 hours (the other one was still red after 4 or 5 days). I felt much more comfortable at Hot Rod while I was getting it done, and I also was respected at Hot Rod, unlike at the other place that I went to.

Went there 2x to get my daughter a piercing and they wouldn’t pierce her because our last names were different, even when providing documentation. wish i could give 0 stars, take your money to BREAKING SKIN!!

My mother law and I had our Nostrils pierced by Autumn she did a fantastic job very thorough throughout the whole experience. The staff is amazing and this place is just hands down the best!!

Im getting a tattoo 4 my dad. He passed January 15th & they got me an appointment for the 14th. Just in time! I didnt think it would be that fast- especially that I went to make the appointment on the 11th. I get all my tattoos there. Great people and prices
