Great experience at this shop! I gave them some vague ideas about what I wanted and they were able to turn those designs into the memorial tattoo I was looking for. Rick and Rich are absolutely awesome! Theyre very friendly and professional. Theyre both also incredibly talented. I highly recommend this shop if youre looking for your first or a new tattoo.

Worth the drive!! The whole team here is incredible and the shop itself is a sight to behold. Great flash offerings, and also has the talent to handle much larger and intricate pieces. Cant say enough good things about 168!

Not only did Rich do an amazing job turning my amateur mock up of my idea into a beautiful work of art, but he covered an 11 year old tattoo with ease! I’ve gotten so many compliments on it! He also worked quickly but didn’t sacrifice quality in the process and the pricing was also great! I would definitely recommend coming here and I’m so glad others recommended him to me!

I highly recommend Rick. For context this was my first tattoo (but thought about for the past year) on my inner left forearm. I reached out via his email and he immediately responded and we send some ideas via text with picture ideas. I wanted a family theme and he was so patient and after the final picture I went in. I was def nervous but he was great. We talked for the 1.5 hrs it took and the end result far exceeded my expectation!

My partner has already had 2 tattoos done here by Rick. We had 2 appointments scheduled on her birthday that Rick didnt send drawings for until the night before, which were nothing as we discussed in our face to face meeting where he did simple drawings and threw themout in front of us. He then refused our appointment on her birthday! I was so excited for this, and this guy Rick, in the end, didnt care about what we asked for and ruined a very big birthday. Disgusting. Be careful doing business here if you want to have much input into what he will put on your body. My partner still loves her artwork. He is a gifted artist, just not a good man

If you’re lookin for a low-key tattoo spot that does extravagant work and has interesting antiques, 168 Tattoos is definitely the place to go 💯. Respect to Rich for being precise and respectful right from the door, I will definitely be back soon for more 💪🏿.

Chileeeee! i went here off the good ratings but i can see they are all from one race! WHITE! me and my friend wanted to get matching tattoos and the guy who answered wasn’t bad. however…….the tattoo artist just wasn’t it. he was very stand offish but after seeing a book with a SWASTIKA on it i see why!!!!! he tatted my white friend first and when it was my turn he really was off.. like after he tatted me he just walked out! he ain’t wipe it or put nothing on it! meanwhile he tapped a paper towel on my friends back! and mines was on my wrist so mines definetly needed to be wrap too.. i have a arm and a leg sleeve and THIS NEVER HAPPENS needless to say IF YA BLACK DONT GO BACKKKK AND IF YA WHITE IT MIGHT BE RIGHT!!!! ……very unfortunate

This place is amazing! All of the tattoo artists are very friendly and talented. Scheduling an appointment is so easy! They also do a lot of fundraising for the community and showcase local non-profits. Have gotten several tattoos and will definitely be going back for more!

My husband and I got our first tattoos here yesterday with Rich as our tattoo artist. He made us feel very welcomed and less nervous about our first tattoos. He was amazing! We both got small tattoos but we absolutely love them. The experience was very easy. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to get a tattoo.

Went here today and got two tattoos for the animal rescue. I think it’s such a great idea that they do something like this and give back. The work was done on point, I’ll definitely be back for more ink. The shop is really laid back and unique looking. The artist was really cool and has nice work. I recommend this shop.

We felt welcomed the second we walked in! My friend and I had wonderful conversations with the owners, enjoyed the vintage decor and we got really wonderful tattoos! We were so excited to take part in a project that helped benefit wildlife and were pleased to leave with well done tattoos. Rick and Leah (shop owners) are great! They make you feel right at home when you come into the shop. Super clean, professional, and amazing tattoo work. The shop is very cool too with a bunch of decorations and artwork all over the walls. Leah was super helpful at the front desk, scheduling was easy and accommodating. Ricks tattooing is amazing and he was very informative throughout the whole process with designing my tattoo and it came out GREAT couldnt be happier with it. Ive been tattooed here twice now (Both times by Rick) and Ive had a fantastic experience both times. Great tattoos, great pricing, great conversations. This place is clean, and inviting and everytime Ive been tattooed or been with someone who got tattooed here, each time weve been satisfied and walked away happy with a great tattoo. Rick even added extra elements and things that I wanted to my tattoos which i really appreciated.Highly recommend this place!

Today I had my fourth tattoo designed and Inked by Rick. Rick always tries really hard to develop my vision into a final work of art. He is personable and easy to work with. I typically get many many compliments on the finished pieces of body art.

Called here the other day to see if I could get an appointment. Leah got me in right away. What a great shop, definitely one of the coolest Ive ever been in. Rick & Leah make you feel right at home. I didn’t want to write this review because I did have a great experience and really loved the environment of this tattoo shop but I just unfortunately had a bad tattoo. I followed every healing instruction that I was given and didn’t touch the area at all but almost the next day it started scabbing and went uneven. Five weeks later and my tattoo looks 10 years old.

They are amazing! Clean, friendly, fast, great prices. If you’re looking for American Traditional in south Jersey this is the place to go!

I was looking for a new tattoo shop & what stood out about this place was the good reviews, the events they do to benefit animals & over all professionalism. They had a Halloween tattoo special going so it seemed like a good opportunity to go check them out. Rich did an amazing job! He just went above & beyond making sure the design & placement would work for a cover up over an old tattoo. He couldve said no, but kept trying until he found a way. I also got to meet the owner who was super sweet & gave good after care directions. The shop was clean, great communication in regards to making the appointment & I felt comfortable just being there.

Very friendly shop. The co-owner greeted every single patron for tonights event and there were tons of people. Inside, the waiting area is interesting and eclectic (which helps the nervous patron while waiting!) The rooms are clean and inviting. The artist we had was the other co-owner, (talk about marriage goals) he was just as friendly and engaging as his wife.We will absolutely be back again and again!

Awesome tattoo shop!!! We went there for Homeward Bound Tattoos for Rescues. All proceeds went to the adoption center. Its a great cause wich they do all the time and I will always go!! The people are so friendly and the ink work is remarkable!!! I will continue to get my tattoos through them and also tell my friends and family to also!!! I highly recommend them to everyone!!!

I had the best experience at 168 tattoo. He did an excellent job on my tattoo. It meant alot to me that he was able to get me in before I headed back to Maine and to have a tattoo done with my granddaughters name done with it . Well it just meant the world to me. My wife booked an appointment for me for my birthday to get a new tattoo at 168 Tattoo. The shop prior to my appointment had already drawn up some ideas and was easily accessible through text leading up to the appointment. The shop is beautiful and clean, the staff was extremely kind and personable, and Im really happy with my new tattoo. I cant say enough nice things about my experience at 168 Tattoo.

Got my second ever tattoo at this place and was pleased as punch. The atmosphere is fantastic and there are so many cool things to see that youll always find something new every time you come in. Everyone there is a treat and feel like old friends by the time you leave. The tattoo artists are skilled, clean, and quick. The best thing about this. Business is how often it holds events for some great charities and organizations from animal rescues to veterans. If your into traditional or looking for that next anime/video game tattoo Id definitely recommend this place!

Rick is the greatest artist in all of south jersey possibly the state. I only get my tattoos from rick and his wife is great too. Constant conversation during your piece and its all custom drawn making everything you get 100% original. And if thats not enough the pride they take in their shop is incredibly impressive, they have the coolest display of antiques and oddities. So much so that they have been scouted by History Channels show American Pickers. Check this place out. Worth the visit.

Absolutely love this place! I had previously went to other shops asking for advice on fixing a bad tattoo because of all the black in it no one could help or could come up with any ideas tho fix it. 168 fixed me right up and it looks amazing. Now Im not embarrassed of my wrist. The shop is so neat and unique. Awesome customer service as well! Highly recommend stopping in!!

Patrick is one of the coolest tattoo artist you will meet he is nice and gives very good advice, got my first tat done here week ago and i am really glad i went here is is just awesome! explained everything very well and just made it seem everything good my future tats will be here i can promise dat!
