Amazing tattoo shop!! I went and got two tattoos from Christina - a butterfly and a flower. They came out perfect! The shop itself was really neat and the drawings were very impressive. They were very professional and caring and made sure I got what I wanted. Would definitely recommend!! I will definitely be coming back and getting my back done.

First tattoo. I went to visit the shop, knowing I wanted a hurricane swirl tattoo. The owner greeted me and we discussed the design and size. The price he quoted was good, and he asked me when I wanted to do it, adding he could do it now. So, now was good for me. He asked for a few minutes to set up the machine, I filled out a short form with a minimum amount of information and he was ready. I was comfortable and relaxed while he worked, we chatted about stuff, and he was finished in a reasonable amount of time. The tattoo is awesome. Lastly, he gave me all the information I needed for taking care of my new tattoo. Not sure what tattoo Ill get next, but I will definitely return to Galactic Tattoo, and will highly recommend Galactic Tattoo to anyone looking for a great tattoo studio.

At 69,I got my first tatoo here,it was a great experience!,got a second ,and going get my third! Great service,talented artist,very thoughtful and he walked me thru it! I highly recommend Galactic!

Ive been twice (1st one with Chris and most recently with Christina) and both artists I worked with were kind and did phenomenal jobs. Very clean atmosphere as well. I have several tattoos and I get the most compliments on the two I got from here. I will definitely be back and recommend them to anyone.

Was down in Louisiana and looked up places to get a tattoo to remember our trip and this was the place with the best reputation. They have this reputation for a reason because it was freaking awesome! Line work was seriously some of the best Ive ever seen, shading was spot on, customer service was above and beyond. Extremely clean and the environment was super chill. Will for sure drive all the way down here from Missouri to receive another tattoo! You guys rock!

Rudest phone interaction I’ve had in my life…. Let me explain… I called in order to ask if I purchase a stencil application and before I could even finish the sentence the man hung up on me, but Bryan….. why would you want a stencil application only? Well I have quite a few tattoos (about 27 of patchwork) and my daughter loves them… so in a effort ensure the safety of my daughter this Mardi Gras I was hoping to just BUY the stencil and application of it with my name and number so she can have cool tattoos like dad but not only did I get hung up on but when I called back to apologize thinking we got disconnected once again barked at and told they won’t do it.

Christina did a cover up tattoo for me and she did EXACTLY what I wanted her to do!!! Thank you girl!!!!

Went for my artist,The light above her station was broken. The actual light on ceiling. During the beginning of our appt (although not her fault) we had to spend time trying to get lighting.The owner seemed unphased & even left.That caused our tattoo session to be delayed. As she searched the shop for a extra light. Not finding any luck.I know she’s a good artist so I trusted her but I can tell she struggledI could barely see it when tattoo was done until we were outside.Definitely created a atmosphere of not a shop but no one cared. & the good artists suffer for it.Had to note. I’ve been getting tattooed by her years. & first time here & it was not one for the books!

Chris and Mark were both so awesome!! My mother, sister, and I walked in to all get small tattoos together and they were so accommodating!! They took our sketches and helped us decide on the final edit before getting our tattoos!! Really affordable and very very clean!! Would definitely go back for another tattoo in the future!!

I went and saw Michael Bogle and had 3 sessions with him to finish off my sleeve. He absolutely crushed my tattoos. I sent in some ideas and he put his spin on them and they turned out amazing. I’ve gotten nothing but compliments on my tattoos and everyone asks me where I went and who did them. For the stye of tattooing Michael does I honestly thinks he’s one or the best artists in the New Orleans area. Great tattooer and great person. 10/10 recommend.

My husband and I went in for our first tattoos and they both came out amazing. Both Chris and Marc did wonderful jobs and are highly professional. I will definitely be getting more work done by them and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get a tattoo.

I have a full sleeve and chest piece I got done by Michael Bogle at Galactic! The shop has a great atmosphere and very clean! If you are looking for some quality work from great artists, I would highly recommend Galactic! I will definitely keep coming back!

This is hands down the best shop in the state. I flew in from Florida just to have Chris work on me. Ive gotten tattoos all over the country, and this is my favorite shop. The atmosphere is super laid back, good prices, and HIGH quality work done quickly. Thank you Chris!

This was my first tattoo at 74=soon to be 75 . Chris was so helpful and he made me feel very relaxed.It did not hurt at all. The place was very welcoming. I was very nervous upon arrival but very calm and pleased when he finished. This was BY FAR the best tattoo experience I’ve ever had. Rev Marc was an absolute pleasure to work with and is incredibly talented. He listened to every idea I had for my Mac Miller tribute piece. You can tell he’s a really genuine dude who actually cares about you getting what you want and pays very close attention to detail. He even let me play Mac’s music on my phone while I was getting it done which really meant a lot to me.. Also, I noticed the shop was EXTREMELY clean which kinda just makes you feel good when it comes to something like getting a tattoo. I recommend this place all day long!!

Chris did 3 of my tattoos in a weeks time and I couldnt be happier with his work. He tattooed exactly what I asked and was more than pleasant.

Chris did my tat. I was an out of town walk in. The shop is clean. Chris is a mellow guy. Not much conversation but friendly vibe. The price was higher than what I expected but I took into consideration that I was a walk in and visiting. You know how that goes with vacation tattoos. All in all it was a good experience and I appreciate my memorial tattoo.

Clean shop, clean lines. what more can you ask for! The artists are very talented & friendly. I get custom pieces done everytime. Chris always comes up with unique designs and patiently helps me figure out where my tattoo will be. Mark is also great, he is a perfectionist and really makes sure you get exactly what you want. This place is awesome. I went for a walk in and I got a super awesome tattoo, a good price too. Marc did my tat, him and the other people that work there are super nice. Marc even drew up a sketch for a big piece I’ve been thinking of getting, ive never been to the same tattoo shop twice but I’m definitely coming back here.

Awesome people and shop! Both mark and chris are beyond amzing with their work and super friendly. First stepping into the shop has a home like comfortable feeling along with being a professional environment. Definitely recommend! Me and my friend went to this place spontaneously for our first tattoo together! At first we thought it would be super sketchy because no one we know had ever been here before BUT upon walking in it was very clean and welcoming! Both of the co-owners were the sweetest to us and were so helpful!! Mine helped me choose where I wanted it and gave me such helpful hints. I would go back again 100%!!!

I had an older tattoo (from a different shop in the city) that I wasn’t pleased with. Wasn’t sure whether I wanted to add on to it or just cover it up all together. Marc worked with me to come up with a solid design and it came out much better than anticipated. Shop is clean. Work is great. Highly recommend

Ken is a phenomenal artist with his own unique style yet knows how to deliver a personal experience. I gave him a portrait piece to do and he nailed it. Hands down best experience Ive had at a shop. Chris, Ken, and all they guys at Galactic are solid. Will be going back for future pieces.

Awesome work. We were down on a trip from Alabama, when we walked in Christopher talked to me, found exactly what I wanted, gave me advice on color choices. I was in the chair in 20 minutes getting tattooed. Great place, clean and neat. Would strongly recommend this shop to everyone.

Mark was amazing and made the whole experience super comfortable! I love my tattoo and will definitely be coming back for my back piece. Also this was the cleanest tattoo shop I have ever been in, there wasnt even any dust lol.

The environment is privileged & unhumbling. Greeted last. No type of effort from staff,Seems to want to do traditional style only. The idea I went in with was diminished by the time I left. Bc cause it kept trying to be altered by the staff.No one seemed happy to be there but more so wanting to close early.

Great spot..did a shoulder sleeve tribal in 3 sessions, Chris was understanding about what I wanted and was very accommodating on my work schedule...Great music to take your mind off the work...Chris the wife loved it ..thanks and see you again soon! Highly recommend Chris..

They were incredibly helpful, CLEAN, QUICK (30 mins MAX) and polite.While we were at the shop, they told us the pros and cons of our ideas and made sure to work with us to give us exactly what we wanted.. I felt like they weren’t just trying to get a quick buck, but actually cared about how the tattoo looked and how satisfied we would be with the tattoos.My friend ended up leaving her necklace that is incredibly important to her. I contacted GTS owners after business hours about the necklace via the Google communication info provided, and they responded incredibly quickly. They saved the necklace, and I am going to go grab it when they open.Couldn’t ask for better tattoo artists.

I went on a girls trip to New Orleans and my girls and I decided to get tattoos. We got referred to Galactic Tattoo by 2 separate places because they didnt take walk-ins. After a looooooong bout of indecisiveness on my part, I picked an ankle tattoo. Chris drew it up for me and the process began. After a lot of lamaze breathing🤣, squealing and squirming, the deed was done! Love the end result! Definitely would recommend them. Galactic tattoo is the best shop period. Its Metairies oldest tattoo shop and in my opinion Louisianas best. Ive been seeing their artists for years. There friendly and the conversation makes it feel like youve known them forever. Not only that there are contest, giveaways, and military discounts. where else could you could win a free tattoo. Got a simple outlined tat. Over priced for what I got. The tat took mayb 10 mins. Dont think Ill b back for another. Its not exactly how I wanted it, I felt like they didnt wanna try to sketch it the way I wanted it. Even tho it could hav been done like the picture that was shown. Bcz an artist can do draw anything they set their mind to!! But as u kno once its there, its there!! It is what it is...

Came here to get my first big piece done. Overall beautiful work but I’m assuming the needle wasn’t cleaned correctly when he switched from black to red because the supposed to be red color is part purple, lol. Will have to get that fixed now.

I’m from out of town and was on a trip with a friend of mine and I spontaneously decided to get a tribute tattoo for my dad who passed away.. we walked in about 30 minutes till close and he accepted us no questions asked and was so patient and kind with my picky self... not to mention it was my FIRST tattoo and he made me feel so comfortable.. it’s nice and clean and I would travel the 4 hours again just to come here for every tattoo I get after this one!

Called the shop Marc answered the phone super nice guy asked for a simple golf ball tattoo and what he delivered was phenomenal tattoo great color amazing shade work I will definitely be returning for more work i suggest if you live in the new Orleans area pass by talk to him he will not disappoint
