Take Heart Tattoo

I had such an amazing appointment with Lauren. I had reached out to Lauren months ago because I was unhappy with a tattoo that I had done. I wanted to know if it was possible to fix it without making it look worse and she was confident that she could. I booked an appointment and had to reschedule a couple times but she was very accommodating. Her shop is so warm and welcoming and such a vibe. Very different than any other tattoo shop I have been to. We discussed my tattoo and what I liked and didnt like about it and she told me her game plan. She asked for my feedback throughout the tattoo process as she wanted me to be 100% happy with the end result. I am SO GLAD that I decided to get my tattoo reworked. She made it look 1000x better and I am proud to look at it now. Her aftercare is way different than any other artist I have gone to. It super easy and convenient as a protective adhesive is put over the tattoo for the first 48 hours. I have never dealt with such an easy aftercare for a tattoo! I highly recommend this Tattoo shop and Artist. Thank you to Lauren for making my tattoo all that I hoped it would be. I will definitely be back!

I recently had my first session for a sleeve at Take Heart Tattoo with Lauren. From start to finish, it was an absolutely amazing experience. The studio is open, warm and welcoming. Lauren is so incredibly talented, as well as personable. She did an incredible job capturing my vague guidance and running with it. This first session truly felt like a collaboration. My experience at Take Heart Tattoo was amazing! The tattoo came out exactly as I was envisioning- Lauren is a truly talented artist. The shop is very clean, calming, and well maintained. This was my first large tattoo and Lauren made it a breeze! She took the time before we started to make adjustments to the placement and design, making sure I was happy. Throughout the whole process she made me feel incredibly comfortable and was just a super chill person to hang out with. I am obsessed with how my tattoo came out and cant wait to come back!

Amazing shop, provided a curated feel from consultation to design to appointment. Lauren was incredible, and my comfort level and a high quality piece of art and overall experience was clearly on her mind from beginning to end. I’m in love with my tattoo, and even her assistant made me feel comfortable and relaxed! Shop was immaculate. I will be back for another piece.

Lauren has quickly become my favorite tattoo artist and it is well worth the 3 hour drive there and back for me! I have 3 pieces from her so far and no plans of stopping! She is super nice, the whole shop has a very relaxing and cozy vibe, and the detail she is able to put into her pieces in a timely manner already has me eager to get back!

I have been tattooed by Lauren 4 times total, and twice at her shop, Take Heart Tattoo. Lauren is an exceptional artist and makes the entire process easy. I gave her a lot of creative freedom for my full back piece and she absolutely delivered. The design is gorgeous and exceeded my expectations, which were high to begin with. The shop is beautiful and clean, and a relaxing place to get tattooed. I adore Lauren at Take Heart. Ive followed her from Boston to Middleborough - and this studio is a lovely new addition to our sessions. Its impeccably clean, wonderfully decorated, and feels home-y.As for the tattoo: Lauren is the only one I trust for large-scale pieces. Shes gentle, kind, thoughtful, and thorough. Her vision and artistic flair is literally UNMATCHED.

One of the easiest tattooing experience I’ve ever had. They kept me up to date on cancellations and possibilities to move up appointments and were extremely friendly to be around. Lauren did amazing work and the studio was welcoming and clean. Not much more you could ask for. Highly recommend them to anyone needing quality work done.

Had an incredible experience getting my first tattoo at Take Heart this Halloween and couldn’t be more happy. Lauren is an exceptional artist and made the process super seamless and easy. Had so many questions regarding placement, design, healing etc and was walked through everything so nicely.The studio itself is really cozy, clean and comfortable. Made the trek down from Boston and which was a million times worth it. The actual session with Lauren went so quick and smooth and I couldn’t have been more happy with my piece. Also got a chance to check out Hayley’s work while there which also looked incredible.Overall, I can’t recommend this place enough and highly recommend Lauren whether it’s your first tattoo or not. The care and love put into the piece made me feel incredibly at ease and resulted in an incredible tattoo. Can’t wait to go back and get more work done here!

I have followed Lauren on social media for several years now and have always loved her work! I was finally able to get something done by her in December and I am very happy with the job she did! She was also very comfortable to talk to and I had a good time. I love her salon in every aspect. Nice and spacious and decorated very well! Definitely going to go see her again!!!

Ive gone to Lauren for five tattoos so far. She is an extremely talented artist, easy to talk to, and provides excellent communication throughout the whole process. Everyone Ive interacted at the shop is fantastic as well! The shop environment is extremely relaxing, clean, and has beautiful decor all over. I cant recommend them enough!

Absoutely fantastic in every way!! Just got my first tattoo here and it was super comfortable, loved the vibes of both the place and people!! Between how comfortable everything was and getting a lot of good info on care, my nerves melted away! And of course, my actual tattoo itself is absolutely incredible. I had a great experience yesterday at Take Heart Tattoo with Lauren! Everything from the booking to the actual appointment was easy and went very smoothly and my tattoo came out perfectly.

Both Hayley and Lauren are incredibly professional. The shop is immaculately clean, with a lot of beautiful decorum. You cannot go wrong getting a tattoo from either of them, or their guest artists.

The best tattoo shop I’ve ever been to! I felt so respected and relaxed. The space is so well decorated and my tattoo came out beautifully (I saw Lauren for my piece). Highly recommend!!

Take Heart is clean, experienced, and so, so peaceful. Haley has given me some beautiful pieces, and the attention to detail in both the shop and the tattoos is obvious! If you are looking for a welcoming and kind tattoo experience, I cant recommend Take Heart enough!

I had an absolutely amazing time at this shop! I’ve gotten a few little critters from Hayley and just started a larger sternum piece with Lauren. I could not be happier with the care, artistry, and ambience of this shop and its artists!

I’ve gotten two pieces done with Lauren. The first was flash and the second was a custom piece I requested. She does amazing work and I’ve already booked a full sleeve for my next piece.

Lauren is an amazing artists, so kind and really talented, we finished a tattoo on my back and I couldn’t be happier with the final outcome, her assistant Laura is a bright happy face as soon as you walk in, the shop is clean, spacious and decorated beautiful and I can’t wait to come back and work with Lauren again!
