First off very clean,everyone there is very friendly, and they work with you on how you want your tat. Johnny will always be are go to no joke, he did such a KILLAH WORK WE FEEL ROYAL WITH ARE BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTERS NAME ON US.😂 WE WAS NOT MAD AT ALLLLLL!!!! Been wanting to cover up an old tattoo for a couple years so I gave 2Thumbs a call back in May 2018. Guy named Bo answered and told me to come down so he could see what he could do so I went in that same day. Was immediately greeted by Elton at the front desk (big smile, friendly dude), told him I wanted a Japanese style Phoenix to cover up an old tattoo on my shoulder so he recommended Bo to come take a look. Bo was super chill, he let me browse through some portfolios and he gave his input on what would work with what I was asking for. I liked what I heard so I put down a deposit so that he would start drafting me something and he told me come back in a week. Came back a week later and he showed me a few ideas he had. I picked one out and set up an appointment. Been coming now about once a month (2 - 3 hour sessions) since May 2018.Shop has a comfortable chill vibe to it and they always seem to have someone getting work done. Bunch of flash on the walls and even a Get What you Get gumball machine that has various palm sized traditional tattoos ($100 for a $200 piece, I think). They have AC and good music playing with a restroom on hand and lots of parking. Super happy with the work that Bo has done on my sleeve, super talented and down to earth guy. Highly recommend him for Japanese and American traditional style work.

Teddie was able to get us in moderately quickly as I was leaving the island and very grateful for the way he schedules. He was awesome and knowledgeable lots of experience going into his work. Great work and highly recommend. You will get what you ask for no doubt.

My artist was Jaycob. I walked in and he was able to take me same day about an hour and a half later, which was totally great because I was starving and was able to get a bite and shop at Ross! Jaycob is so talented! His design of my idea came out so much more than I imagined! I recently lost my 2 fur babies. Every time I look at this beautiful piece on my arm, I know that they are with me! Thank you Jaycob!

I came in as a walk-in , gave me a the same day appointment about 2 hrs after , I got lucky!… I had Miki as my tattoo artist , she was amazing her art work and work is amazing ! And the wholeShop is good vibes , from the receptionist to the other tattoo artist, I will highly recommend & ask for Miki!!!

Jaycob is the absolute goat , I thought about going to him for a while and decided to just go in and schedule a full leg sleeve with Jaycob I asked him to literally Use your creation and come up with the coolest Japanese traditional leg sleeve you can imagine he ended up coming up with a absolutely crazy 9 tailed fox leg sleeve for me and even explained the background story for the traditional reason they would get the tattoos he incorporated into it , absolutely amazing shop and one of the best tattoo experiences Ive ever had in my life.

Got tattooed by Johnny during a much appreciated last minute appointment. Super cool guy working in a really cool shop. He took the time and effort to ensure the placement of my tricky tattoo was nothing short of perfect and truly showcased his talent and skills. Got tattooed on vacation but will be back for sure! Also he plays great music 🤙🏼

My brother and I came here for some tattoos in January and happened to come in just at the right time as someone had cancelled- so we were able to walk-in for an appointment with Andrew (who wouldve otherwise been booked out for the next month or so). We both had pics of what we wanted and Andrew made it super quick and easy- he was very patient with helping us achieve what we wanted from our reference photos and I am so thankful that his original client cancelled so we had the opportunity to get squeezed in. Andrews line work was great and he somehow made the process painless in comparison to my last four tattoos. The shop was really comfortable and laidback, but still professional. Again- super happy with how it all worked out and grateful that we were able to see him on such short notice! Highly recommend.

All shop employees were super helpful as soon as we walked in. They answered all of our questions. Shop was very clean and organized. Devyn ended up making room same day about 2hrs after I initially came in. Did a great job drawing up my tattoo and an even better job on the tattoo. I will definitely be going back. Highly recommend this shop.

I went in and wanted to start my sleeve for my grandma and I absolutely love it! The quality plus the realism of my tattoo is fantastic. I couldn’t ask for it to be done any differently. Andrew is an amazing dude and he’s completely reasonable. I do recommend making an appointment with your artist and talking with them so they have an understanding so you don’t walk out with anything less than what you want. I planned mine with him and it is absolutely fantastic. Can’t wait to be back in the chair

My artist was Devyn Lum. I got a Flash Baby Yoda, in black and white. I love it! I love the shading and line work; very crisp and the result is so cute! I will definitely be returning.

2 thumbs was the best experience I’ve had getting any tattoo. Andrew was my artist, but judging off the shops atmosphere, I wouldnt be afraid to to get work done by anybody who works there. The reference I brought was highly detailed and technical in nature, something that concerned me prior to meeting Andrew, but the final image was executed with the extreme care and precision I can only imagine comes from a life of dedication to one’s craft. The people at 2 Thumbs are simply, trustworthy, and talented.👍👍

We made a phone call to the shop on a Friday before closing to inquire if they had the ability to do 4 small tattoos the next day before we left the island. They said shouldnt be a problem, come in right at opening and we will look after you.So Saturday morning we rolled up the hill to the shop. Everyone was super friendly. I mean everyone. Teddie and Bo were very helpful. We had an idea of what we wanted and everyone in the shop seemed to pitch in with their artists mind to get the image just right.We had two of the four of us getting their first tattoo and the team made them feel at ease.The shop is clean and filled with cool styles of tattoo art.We had a great experience and highly recommend 2 Thumbs Tattoo!A special thanks to Jacob, Andrew and Elton. Nice shop, with a Great atmosphere and very professional. My daughter and I got tattoos for her 18th birthday and Received excellent service from start to finish. Tom did a superb job and was super nice. I Will definitely be going back for more.

I got a piercing with LA at the studio. In my opinion, I found that they are handling COVID-19 procedures really well and that they were well staffed. It was very easy to schedule an appointment and the tattoo artists were handling both schedule appointments as well as walk-ups balancing both questions about design and conducting tattoo appointments.LA was really great. He worked very hard to find the right spot exactly for the piercing and he brought an artist eye. During the piercing he spoke calmly and informatively regarding what he was doing and care instructions. I found out more from him in the five minutes it took to actually do their piercing than I ever did with my other piercings.Absolutely planning to go back.

I will apologize I’m advance for the length of this review. Vacation for new year’s to Hawaii and have been thinking about the next tattoo I wanted to get for a while and what better way to bring in the new year with a little ink..... called several shops and happen to stumble across 2 thumbs. From the first interaction which was simply to call and see if they had time since it was late in the day I had the pleasure of speaking with BO who was super friendly and said sure come on in! Shop is absolutely what you would expect great portfolio of work clean and everyone was just amazing. Chatted about what I was thinking of but wanted to incorporate a meaningful phrase and frankly didn’t want to have the same tattoo as rest of world. BO took time to design something that was special and relative to what I was trying to achieve.Because of how late in the day it was and with the type of piece o wanted to get I came in today 1/1/20 to have my tattoo done before I leave tomorrow. He came in on his day off taking time from his family to help me achieve getting this tattoo done and I couldn’t thank him enough for being so accommodating and thank his family as well. I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking to have some amazing artwork done! Because of how amazing they are and the incredible job both my sister and brother in law also got tattooed making for a very memorable start to 2020.Now to review the shop itself.Very clean professional and funny artist walk in as strangers walk out as friends and that’s exactly how I’ll remember this day. Amazing portfolio and incredibly talented artist and the true meaning of artist!Bo from the bottom of my heart THANK YOU for being so awesome and for the amazing reminder of the strength I needed to get though the darkest days!

2 Thumbs Tattoo is one of the best shops on the Island. My wife and I wanted to get larger pieces and decided to try and walk-in. We were immediately taken back and given some of the best tattoos my wife and I have ever gotten. Jacob is a great artist and everyone in the shop is great to talk story while you wait or are getting tattooed. We will definitely be back!

Very pleased with my experience at 2 Thumbs! There is a very friendly team there that seem to take great care of their customers. When I went in for my colsultation, Teddy helped me out and provided candid and beneficial advice on what was possible and what was in my interest based on what I wanted. Andrew drew on (which was a first for me, and awesome) and then tattooed my designs. He is extremely talented, and the result exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend 2 Thumbs!

I gave Bo a sketch of what I was picturing and he turned it into a beautiful tattoo!! I was on island visiting family, so we only got the outline done, but I can’t wait for it to be finished! Everything was clean, he was very professional and personable, and he checked in with me often to see if I needed any breaks.

I was referred to 2 Thumbs by a mutual friend. I was looking to get my first tattoo and I wanted to do something Asian to represent my Japanese heritage. What started out as a simple koi, eventually evolved into a back piece and arm sleeve. When I first started my piece, I remember feeling scared, nervous and unsure if I was going to regret what I was doing later down the road (after all, tattoos are permanent). But, Bo was confident in his work and reassured me that he was going to take care of me. After all was said and done, the quality of work that he produced amazed me. My husband and I couldnt be more happier with the outcome. I cant tell you how many compliments Ive gotten. His line work is super clean and his colors stick. If youre interested in something different, thats okay because the shop is filled with other super talented artists who love what they do as well. Theyre an awesome crew and you wont regret linking up with any one of them.

I can say alot about this shop and the very well talented and experienced tattoo artists. Went today for tattoos and piercingsLA (nirvana) was amazing and helped us a lot with our piercings. He was very patient while we were trying to figure out what we wanted.Tattoo wise josh and Andrew were amazing my tattoo came out beautiful and my lines were so crisp and my shading was on point.Go see all three of these guys they are worth every second of your day and made our visit feel like we were already friends and family

My sisters and I got BTS (Kpop band) at 2 Thumbs Tattoo and the staff is so AWESOME and friendly. They even played BTS music while we got our tattoos done!!. The work environment is very clean and comfortable. 10/10 recommend!! Will definitely come back if I ever decide to get more tattoos!

Discovered this place probably as one should- by noting a beautiful sleeve on someone, and asking, Whered you get that done? Based on my discovery, my husband (who was very inked to begin with) got a tatt here before me. He was ecstatic about the results and his experience. Soon after, I set up an appointment. But there was a minor hiccup with scheduling...to my relief, Two Thumbs took every effort to reassure me and make everything right. In the end I got my wish of having a piece very special to my heart done with thoughtful consideration and treatment by the artist and shop owner himself. I felt very comfortable throughout my tattoo session too, which was my first session I had to lie down for. TwoThumbs is a spot to get work done by homegrown, family-oriented, and worldtraveled artists, to include their trusted guest artists. Went to this tattoo shop mainly because of the amazing ratings and reviews. But I had a worst experience. It was my first tattoo and I got robbed off $200 for a small lettering tattoo. No great details or difficulty in etching the tattoo to warrant such an exorbitant price. I took a print out of the letters I wanted (so there is no designing or whatsoever involved) and got the tattoo in less than 40 minutes. And they charged $200 for 40 minutes work?! I paid $20 on top of that as a tip. I asked around people whether a tiny tattoo cost so much and I realized that I have been duped! If a customer comes to your shop with trust, don’t rob him off. I learnt my lesson to ask for a price upfront. I would not even give one star for this place.

Walked in today, Jaycob had a spot open because of a no show. Got 4 tatts I’m very happy with. He will work with you until satisfied, but don’t waste his time. Cool guy as well. Quality & affordable. Will definitely be back!

Great Tattoo shop!!The vibe in the shop is really cool, laid back and chill. Always has great music playing from alternative, to “age appropriate “ hip hop for us old heads.... Biggie, 2 Pac etc etc etc.... f):& mumble rap. ALL the Artist are amazing and talented from what I’ve seen. Bo is the artist that is working on my sleeves and the only complaint I have is I didn’t get here sooner. I had an ear piercing from childhood that was crooked and needed to be fixed. Nirvana had it done in a matter of minutes, was so sweet and gentle, and described everything he was about to do. The store was very clean, all tools were sterile, and everything kept very neat. Highly recommend this shop.

This was my first tattoo and I decided to go here. Great prices. The place is clean, sterile, and all of the staff are friendly. Fast workers and a pretty chill environment. My tattoo artist (Jacob) was patient and worked with me until I had the perfect idea of what I wanted. Definitely recommend!

Tom made me feel comfortable the entire time because despite already having a tattoo I was scared. But, I got a tattoo on my right tricep and along with making conversation, he cracked jokes here and there. So, when I’m ready and financially able, I’ll be sure to come back!

Had a great experience at two thumbs tattoo! They are very professional and friendly people. I needed a quick touchup after getting my tattoo and my tattoo artist was out of town. Bo offered to do the touch up and get me in and out quickly. My tattoo looks amazing and I would def fo back. They really care about the work they put out there.

This place came highly recommended, but we didnt get to find out if the tattoos were good or not. We stopped in at the beginning of last week to make appointments for later in the week and put down a deposit. They seemed friendly enough, but our plans changed later in the week so we couldnt make our appointment before flying home. I understand if we couldnt have gotten our deposit back, but just getting an answer would have been nice. When we realized we wouldnt make our appointment 24 hours before, we called and left a message asking if it was possible to get the deposit back, but we never got a call back. Im dissapointed, as a simple yes or no would have been greatly appreciated.

I called at 7:30 at night to see if they take walk-ins, Jaycob answered the phone and immediately was extremely kind! He was so patient with myself being indecisive on the font I wanted. He fixed my tattoo from rising tide and made it phenomenal! I’m so happy and he was so good and gentle with the needle and made it such a pleasant experience ! Will come back for any other tattoos I need!

Got a tattoo done by Bo. Awesome tattoo artist and super happy with the koi fish piece he did on my arm. Would high recommend this shop if you want a super good tattoo, great vibes and great artists.
