Aimee is a freakin artistic genius!! I got 2 tattoos last month and they have healed so beautifully and I get compliments constantly. Aimee was so professional and fun to chat with while tattooing. She books out months in advance and is well worth the wait! She hand drew my ideas ahead of time and tweaked them as we went based on her expertise on what would work and look good. My tattoo looks even better than I hoped for. I can’t wait for future appointments!

I’ve known Aimee for about 10 years. I knew her before she was the most amazing talented and genuinely nicest tattoo artist in the quad cities. she is so creative and talented and knows how to connect with her clients. She’s done 7 works of art for me including two retouches and I love love love them. She is funny. She makes you feel comfortable and welcome. I would highly recommend her!! ❤️❤️❤️ I would get a tattoo every month if she has openings! She is killing it!

Aimee is the most utmost professional, does amazing work and her studio is beautiful. It’s a reflection of who she is and is an inviting space. Now onto Aimee as an artist. Aimee is very professional and communicative. I was back and forth on a design and she was very helpful and clear that this is permanent so if I wasn’t 100% on the design, she would rather reschedule. (I was just unsure if placement would work). I did get the beautiful tattoo and scheduled my next appointment with her right then. Highly, highly recommended!

I have had several tattoos done by Aimee at this studio. Very clean, warm and comfortable environment. Top notch quality tattoo work. I don’t think I have ever been as comfortable getting tattooed and have been to many artists. I already have the next one scheduled!

Aimee is an incredibly talented artist and is always focused on her client’s comfort and safety. I have multiple pieces from her that I love. People recognize her work on me because her style is impeccable as is her reputation. I also love that she will recommend other tattoo artists if she feels they will be a better fit for what you’re looking for, she is 100% looking out for your best interests.

I’ve been to Aimee twice now and she is the only artist i want to go back to! the whole vibe of her shop/her presence is so warm and welcoming. whether you’re a shy first timer or a chatty veteran to tattoos you and Aimee will get on great! she is so accommodating with scheduling and the designs themselves. she really spares no effort to give you the highest quality work at such great prices for its quality. i’m so blessed i found her, wish i had sooner!

Aimee is hands down one of the best tattooers I have ever worked with. My first tattoo from her was while she was still an apprentice and I continue to get work from her whenever I can. I have 5 pieces from Aimee and I love all of them. She custom designed a memorial tattoo when my father passed away and every time I am in her chair I feel comfortable to be myself and speak freely. She shares her art and her self with people and makes the tattooing experience really what each client needs it to be. Her range of artistic skills and styles is extremely impressive and continues to expand. I am so glad to see her business succeeding and look forward to my next session 🥰

If I could give AF Studio more than 5 stars, I would. I can not recommend Aimee enough! I have had the pleasure of knowing her for many years and absolutely LOVE her tattoos. I have never felt safer or more at ease getting a tattoo than I have with her. (For reference, I have 33 tattoos, 14 of which were done at AF Studio) She is gentle and is always honest with feedback when discussing design. I always get the most compliments on her work. I cant wait to go back to see her again. Book a session with her!

I don’t think I can say enough about AF Studio, and Aimee.The shop is ALWAYS immaculate, Aimee is always prepared and has options and ideas that go beyond what or their artists do.The one on one personal vibe of the studio is a very welcome change to the “tattoo artists/clients en mass” of other area shops.Aimee’s work is head and shoulders above others in her industry and she puts her heart and soul in each piece she creates.The visits I’ve had have always been very professional and I leave knowing that I made the right choice for each piece that Aimee has done.I look forward to any future art I get to have from Aimee.

Aimee was able to perfectly capture my dad’s handwriting into a tattoo shortly after he passed unexpectedly. She went above and beyond to make sure it was perfect and that it truly was still his handwriting. The session itself was better than therapy. She made me feel so comfortable and treated me like an old friend, even though we had just met. Recently I went back to her for another tattoo and the experience was phenomenal. Highly recommend AF Studio!

Aimee is an incredible artist! She is flexible with your drawing to always make sure you get exactly what youre after. She has a light hand, which I appreciate, and makes you feel incredibly comfortable while youre being tattooed. She is a one-person shop that is appointment only, so she may be a touch hard to reach, but just send her a text and shell get back to you as soon as she can. And dont expect to get in tomorrow for a tattoo. Expect a waitlist. Shes a busy lady!

Aimee was so excited to do me and my moms matching cat dog tattoos! She was incredibly insightful to sizing and placement, offering me a few different sizes for my leg piece to choose from when I got to my appointment. She took special care to make sure the tattoo sat well on my leg as well. Her studio is immaculately clean and wonderfully decorated. Hands down the best tattoo experience i have ever had in regards to both professionalism and fun times. The session was quick, but not rushed at all. My mom and I are always so excited to show off my pieces she gave us!

I LOVE getting tattooed by Aimee. She is very professional and we have wonderful conversations when I’m in her chair. I feel safe and I feel comfortable with her. Not to mention, she’s an AMAZING artist! I have 5 tattoos from her and will always be back for more.

I have multiple tattoos from Aimee that have been done in her shop. Aimee sets a very high standard for not only her craft(s) but her attention to industry standards of safety and cleanliness. She has a high profile location with easy visibility however i have never felt that my safety and privacy was in any way compromised. Aimee takes large steps to create an atmosphere of safety physically and mentally so that the experience is enjoyable and empowering. Its a true gift to be able to live with wearable art from Aimee!

I got one of my tattoos revamped by Aimee today. I was able to tell her everytbing I didn’t like about what the artist prior did and she listened to absolutely everything I told her and was able to make the piece something that I really loved. Her shop was also so inviting and just the overall vibe of my appointment made it a really great experience. Will definitely schedule my next tattoo with her!

Aimee is not only an awesome, badass, tell it like it is woman, but a very talented artist. I have had two tattoos with her and my husband has also been in for one of his. Her studio is clean and safe, (she always locks the door while working), and I have always felt very comfortable. My tattoos healed beautifully and each had very minimal peeling or itching afterwards. Both times I have been here we had awesome conversations & I will definitely be back.

I’ve only been tattooed once by Aimee a few years ago. The tattoo was a watercolor color piece that was so special to me. To this day, the colors are still bold and brilliant. She listened to my story and used my piece on her social media to help advocate. She is genuine and authentic. She creates a safe space to get a tattoo. Thanks Aimee, keep being you. ❤️

Aimee is hands-down the best artist I’ve ever gone to. I added a pic of my Aimee-exclusive arm that we’ve added to over 3 sessions and floral pieces on my collar bones that she fit it for me just in time for them to be healed by my wedding! Unlike some artists in the QC, she is extremely respectful, so down to earth and makes you feel at home during your session! It’s refreshing to have an actual artist who goes above and beyond instead of tracing a pre-made image. She takes the smallest wisps of ideas from my brain and creates literal magic.

Aimee is the best! I always feel safe, her art is top notch and her tattooing is lighter handed than many I’ve had before. She always make me feel like I’m her only focus when in the studio and continually makes me belly laugh. I have multiple tattoos from her and her beautiful art is all over my home. Aimee’s art is first-rate, her studio has a dream atmosphere, and she’s straight forward with clients about what she needs and what the client needs to express. I’ve had two tattoos by her and my spouse has one and we are always waiting for her books to open.Aimee’s style is original, I haven’t needed any touch ups, she works incredibly fast, (that means less time in the chair and less pain!) and has a light touch.Aimee was the youngest artist I had ever seen when I first saw her and I am so grateful she maintains the straight forward and frank demeanor of the old school artists I used to go to (when I lived elsewhere). I’ve noticed a lot of folks new to tattoos look for some hand holding which, really, is counter productive. When getting tattoos it’s the client’s responsibility to state their needs (I learned this the hard way—I have two tattoos that didn’t turn out how I wanted because I was too shy to tell the artist i didn’t like something about their sketch).Otherwise Aimee is generous with her attention, care (making sure you’re hydrated partway through, for example, keeping a super-clean COVID-safe shop), and ability to listen and empathize.

Aimee is an amazing artist! I had an idea of what I wanted and what she created was better than what I imagined. Her shop is very clean and welcoming. She was very personable and made sure that I felt comfortable. I will definitely be back.

Aimee tattooed me a few months ago. She was so nice, friendly, and personable. She drew up a tattoo I had been thinking about for years, and her drawing was more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. Would definitely return to her studio.

Amiee is the best tattoo artist I’ve ever been to. She makes you feel very comfortable and her pieces are absolutely amazing and creative. She’ll be the only artist I’ll go to for now on. I had been following AF Studio on instagram and was beyond excited when I finally got my first tattoo by her. Not only is her work amaze balls but the energy she delivers when you are in her shop is memorable. She was very personable and very attentive. Aimee is just too accommodating to her clientele. She responded too quick and got me booked almost immediately. Aimee has made me feel entirely too comfortable and safe in her space. It’s just too much, she’s just too perfect. I don’t regret a single piece of work she has done on my body.

I have 5 tattoos that Aimee has done and they are all amazing. The last one I sent her 2 pictures of what I liked and loved it as soon as I walked in. Aimee also did my first tattoo and I’m so glad I went to her because she made me feel comfortable and not silly for being nervous for my first tattoo. It wasn’t long before I was texting her ready to get my next one. I even have made me next appt for next year before I even left my getting my last one done. I can’t wait to go back.

Aimee is a complete and total badass. I 1000% recommend going to her shop. Getting tattoos can be nerve racking and scary sometimes, ESPECIALLY if you’re a woman going into a boys club shop where you feel intimidated and sometimes harassed /not taken seriously (not all the time, but you get what I mean.) Aimee has created a space for women (anyone who aligns otherwise) by woman. She works with one client at a time and makes sure you are the focus of her attention. She makes you feel comfortable and relaxed and is engaged with you. I personally prefer the one on one attention her shop provides. Her shop is a safe space for all, to share their stories and get some badass artwork tatted. I couldn’t be happier with the artwork and services I’ve gotten from her and will continue to go back.
