Regardless of the appointment being last minute, Sav was so kind, attentive and sweet. She walked us through each step and was so quick, making it a nearly painless experience. My daughter in law started her apprenticeship at this wonderful studio filled with beautiful and genuine artists! My husband and I took the plunge and both got our first tattoos while visiting. Everyone was so friendly, encouraging and supportive! It was a really great experience! This place provides quality service and has really great vibes!!!

I came here some weeks ago to get my earlobes pierced. The actual piercing went fine, the shop is clean and there were no issues at first. I was charged around $140 with taxes and tip, which seems to be significantly more than what you can expect for a simple pair of earlobe piercings, and was told that the earrings were real diamonds, which is an obvious lie. I was given the advice that I could change out the earrings after 3 weeks, which is not true and I waited 7 weeks as my research indicated.When it came time to take out the starter earrings, I was unable to take them out; though they had healed properly, the earrings themselves would not unscrew. I asked my mom for help, whose ears have been pierced for 40 years, and we both struggled for half an hour before giving up. I called the establishment hoping they would be able to help me out, and they informed me that it would be a $15 charge per ear to remove the earring. When I asked if they would consider waiving the fee because the need for the service arose from a mistake that the piercer had made and I believed that the shop should be responsible for poor quality piercing, the woman on the phone actually began to raise her voice at me, so I hung up.I ended up seeking help from a family friend who is a nurse and is experienced with piercings. It took her 15 minutes with multiple clamps to get the earrings out. If I had not had this family friend, I would have had to have seek actual medical help to remove the earrings. The earrings were either screwed far too tightly, screwed on the wrong thread improperly, or what I believe to be the case; the shop incorrectly used permanent jewelry to give me simple earlobe piercings.They refused to correct their mistake which necessitated help from a medical professional, were rude and belligerent, and the experience has left me considerably sour.

After deciding what I wanted for my first tattoo, I knew I wanted Ink Therapy as the where. Just needed the who.That turned out to be Danny.Great guy, great experience, exceptionally clean, professional. He talked me through the whole experience step by step. The vibe of the shop is fantastic, you feel like you’re hanging with friends at this shop and they always produce amazing tattoos. I’ve gotten 5 tattoos here 3 by dave and 2 by kevin. they are absolutely the best. for one of my tattoos i got very lightheaded but the whole team was there to make sure i was ok. the work they do is incredible. dave has done all my tattoos with meaning and he put so much effort into making them perfect and i’ve never been disappointed! kevin has done all my tattoos that are just for fun and the details in them are so perfect! don’t get me started on savannah! i absolutely LOVE savannah! she did a belly button piercing, helix, and repierced my first piercing. when i went for my belly button i was going through a breakup and she was so amazing with matching mine and my best friends energy. she listened to us rant about the guy and then she hated on him with us! for my other piercings i went with my mom and sister for matching piercings and she talked to us the whole time prepared us for what we were walking into. savannah is incredible! joe was in the room when me and my sister went for a walk-in tattoo with kevin. he’s so great to talk to and he gave my sister advice about a piercing bc my advice wasn’t good enough haha! but in all seriousness this place is truly amazing! never felt more welcomed! this place is a second home to me!! they are amazing so if u ever need/want a tattoo or piercing this is exactly the place u need to go to!!!

Amazing tattoo shop they were very welcoming and a great place to go for first time tattoos! the pricing is very fair unlike other shops in the area please check them out, especially dave he is really talented!

Savannah was kind and friendly, making the experience getting my nostril pierced pleasant and comfy. She’s very a sweet person and a hygienic and knowledgeable piercer!HOWEVER, I don’t know who I spoke with on the phone when scheduling my appointment, she was quite brief with a blunt “Tattoo” as the greeting. I’m not saying the greeting has to be robotically pleasant, but I was kind of flabbergasted by her tone and brevity, I almost didn’t come in for the appt. LMAO.

Went for a nose piercing. Savannah was great! Friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I was a bit nervous but she was very calming. Store is clean and organized. I highly recommend!

Ive been wanting to come back here for a bigger piece since I got my first tattoo here in 2018. I definitely made the right decision! I am extremely happy with my new addition and the artist Danny that did it! We had a great conversation, he was super nice, and he explained to me what he was doing and why, I loved that. I felt so relaxed in a normally nerve-wracking process for me. I definitely recommend this shop, and Danny!

Such a smooth and easy process getting pierced with Savannah!! Got both my belly button and nose done on two separate occasions. The 45 minute drive is worth it because she is personable, the shop is clean, and the outcome is perfect!! 10/10 recommend.

My friend and I went for ear piercings and will definitely be back again! The shop was decorated nicely and had a lively and comfortable atmosphere. It was very clean as well! First of all, the new location is absolutely gorgeous!!! It is like being at an outdoor pavillion indoors!!Then there are the artists. They have such great dispositions and make going there a treat.Jenna was my artist. She is so thoughtful, kind, and an amazing artist to boot!!! She works with you on your design and takes great pride in her work!

There is no where else or no one else I’d have my tattoos done at! Joe is my go-to artist, but have used others in the past. I mainly go there for the atmosphere ! I’ve never laughed and enjoyed company as much as I do here. But let’s not forget the professionalism, knowledge and kindness that also goes along way.. Their work is second to none, each artist having their own unique style. It’s like family there and I appreciate each and every one of them there ♥️

Ive gotten over 20 tattoos with Joe Dillon the owner of Ink Therapy in the past 3 years doing 2 half sleeves that are almost done. I love going there! Everyone is cool and the place has a great vibe. Joe is easy to work with and does great work. If this is your first tattoo or one of many, I would absolutely recommend this spot.

I have been going to ink therapy, and specifically to joe dillon since prior to him owning the shop. I have nothing but great things to say about him and his shop. I have referred countless other clients to him and they have ALL been very pleased. If your loyal to joe or ink therapy they are loyal to you. They are fair with pricing and work with you to the best of their ability. They have become a weird extended family at this point, they are friendly, funny, and make you feel apart of when there. Below are just a few examples of joes work. I cannot tell you the amount of compliments i’ve gotten on my full sleeve (sorry don’t have a good pic of it).. it is at least 3X a day, both from people who appreciate tattoos and those who don’t.

For my first tattoo experience, I must say that this place was amazing. The atmosphere and friendly customer service that I received was a warm welcome. As for my artist, Jenna, I would recommend her to anyone. She was very friendly and made me feel comfortable throughout the session. 10/10.

I got my first tattoo at a place that won NJ top something and trust me, Ink Therapy is much better. The atmosphere and artists here are much more friendly (and they’re not the fake kind of friendly) and inviting. I got mine done by Kevin and I am absolutely in love with it. Definitely going back to him for future tattoos.

Had an incredibly positive experience today with Savannah while getting my nose pierced. I was in and out in ten minutes — she took care to keep everything sterile, kindly explained everything she did, and professionally answered all of my questions. She also gave me a little aftercare bag with materials and instructions on how to avoid infections. I traveled about 40 minutes to see Savannah for my first nose piercing. Absolutely worth it!! She has such a welcoming presence and despite how talkative I was, I felt very calm and trusted her to put a hole in my face lol. She was clean, organized, thorough, and extremely professional. She changed the location on my nose maybe 4 times because I wasn’t sure about placement and she didn’t make me feel bad about it (even though I felt bad for being annoying haha). Piercing went very well and I love it so much! She answered all of my questions about aftercare and I couldn’t recommend her more! Definitely coming back to pierce the other nostril! Don’t mind the blood in the pic it’s still fresh and I bled a lot (not savannahs fault it’s just my body)

When i first went to this shop, it was so chill! I didnt get a single funky vibe at all, and i talked to Dave, one of the artists there. I felt like Ive known him for years, and he kindly addressed my concerns. I cant wait to get a tattoo at this shop! Definitely warm and inviting, i plan on getting a piercing done by them as well. Found out about this place from a neighbor who previously got a tattoo here. I went in on a Thursday and spoke briefly with one of their artists (Kevin) about what I wanted. Came back in the following Saturday morning and got in the chair. Kevin was super chill and we chatted while he did his work. He was incredibly detailed with a very light hand. He worked fast, but I never felt like he was rushing - was obvious he just knew what he was doing. I unwrapped my brand new ink this morning, and I could not be happier with how it turned out. Easily the best tattoo I have thus far. His use of colors is just fantastic, and I completely trusted him to take some creative license based on what I told him I was envisioning. He took my feedback and created my favorite piece of work yet! I am extremely happy with my new ink. Also, the studio is clean and welcoming - and I will definitely be coming back for my next one...whatever that may be. Definitely check out Kevins work on their site - hes great!

Well today my sister who is heavily tattooed finally talked me into getting my first tattoo, and man did we pick the right place! We came in as a walk-in customer, the staff was welcoming told us the wait was roughly 2 hours which was no problem at all. We sat in the waiting area and had a great conversation with the staff they were awesome. As my time approached I began to get a bit nervous being it was my first time, Danny spotted this immediately and made sure to keep me calm, distracted me with good conversation and boom it was over. I am unbelievably happy with the results and I will definitely be back to get more work done by Danny!

I came to Ink Therapy because Dave was my original artist from another shop. Because I loved his work so much, I decided to follow him over to Ink Therapy, even if it extended my drive. I have not regretted my choice at all. The whole crew is extremely friendly and the place is spotless. I have still only gotten tattoos by Dave, but I am 100% comfortable with everyone that I would be willing to let any of them tattoo/pierce me.I would highly recommend this shop for anyone who is looking for something unique in both artwork and experience.

If I could write a novel on why you should choose Ink Therapy Tattoo, I would, except I was not an English Major. This is THE place to go whether you have multiple tattoos or getting your first one. Their new shop is the nicest one Ive ever seen, very welcoming.I got two half sleeves done here by Jenna and Dave (brilliant artists- every idea I brought to them, they enhanced it to where I didnt think was possible) within a span of about 4 months thats how good Ink Therapy Tattoo is. Regardless, all of the staff are brilliant & are very good at communicating.If I lived in the North Pole, I would still make the commute to Ink Therapy Tattoo. Got my first tattoo yesterday and I am glad I chose this place. Joe answered all the naive questions I had, walked me through the process and introduced me to Kevin. Kevin is an expert in the subject of the design I had in mind, he improvised the design and tattoo came out amazing.

I loved my experience there, Joe knows what he does. He is clean fast and did my ear piercing with almost zero pain. I’m going there again.And I would also like to mention that their after care kit is so sustainable with minimal use of plastic and no use of chemicals. They give Himalayan salt which we should mix in water and apply. I should say it’s working. Zero pain, it’s been only 3 days and I have no pain moving the stud( just small rotation once a while that I do). Unlike other place I went, charged me $$ for after care bottles which is full of plastic and chemicals.I highly recommend this place.

I got my nose pierced by Mia and it was such a wonderful experience. I had a lot of anxiety throughout the process but she kept me calm and it was a painless and easy process. I got it done september 4th and so far it seems to be healing great and i love it. the place itself is a little small but everybody wore their mask and it felt like an overall safe environment (covid wise). everybody was sweet and if i decide to get another piercing, i’ll for sure come to mia :)

Ink therapy is great! Many friends had recommended it and I went there last year to get my nose pierced. This past week I went back and got my first tattoo from Chris. Chris is an excellent artist and gives any project 110%. He perfectly executed the tattoo I wanted and I am very happy with how it turned out. My friends and I decided we wanted to all get pierced. Since there was three of us, I called ahead to see if we needed an appointment, they said nope! Just walk on in. So we went, and Mia took care of all three of us. Everything was very clean, they were very professional, and sorry thorough with letting us know the healing and cleaning process. The experience was really fast and easy. I got my ears pierced and they came out really good and symmetrical. Missy pierced my ears and she was really sweet, kind, and comforting. Got a beautiful little wave tattoo by Matt a few weeks ago, very skilled artist. Everyone is very friendly and the place is super clean.Also was pierced by Chris and LOVED that he made sure I was comfortable and very professional but I still had a really fun experience. I tried to change my belly button piercing at home and couldnt get it back in so I called Ink Therapy and they got me in the same day. They were very nice and professional, cleaned/prepped everything in front of me, and answered any questions I had. They put my belly button ring back in quickly, I was in the shop less than 10 mins! Would definitely go back!

Missy pierced my ears and also did my cartilage. Such wonderful customer service! She explained everything so thoroughly and was so gentle which made me feel super comfortable. I get all my tattoos from here all of the staff is very friendly and always tries to get to know you on a personal level. He knows his stuff and doesnt just do it for money making; he considers whats best for each individual client. We have been to quite a few tattoo shops over the years. If you’re looking to find a place that understands exactly what you’re looking for this is the place to go! Joe most definitely exceeded our expectations! Joe, who I believe is the owner, was incredible and very informative. Their shop is very clean and comfortable to be in. From Cleaning, Packaging, meeting all Sterilization Procedures they most definitely do things by the book! There is no way we would ever go any place else! First time being here and definitely not our last.

I had such a great experience my first time at Simply Ink that I had to return for a second. All of the artists, including the owner, Joe, are extremely friendly and professional. They take the time in every phase of design to ensure everything is perfect and never make you feel rushed. The pricing is also extremely reasonable. Very clean, organized, & comfortable. My artist, Gabriele (Hellcat), was very thorough & professional with all the information prior to beginning the work & after my cover up was completed she made sure I understood the aftercare instructions & encouraged me to call her if I had any questions. I healed within days, no complications. Gab is amazingly talented, worked with me on custom design, colors, etc... & I will definitely be returning to Simply Ink Tattoo. Missy(@missytorre_art) re-pierced my ears for me and walked me through the piercing process and the after care process thoroughly to make sure the heal properly. She was very gentle during the piercing and made sure I was as comfortable as possible during my visit. Love the new piercings! Highly recommend

I got my second tattoo done here a few weeks ago and my boyfriend got his first, both done by Justin - he does amazing work and I can’t recommend him highly enough! Everyone there is welcoming and super professional, and the studio itself is very clean and well-kept. I’m already planning on going back to get another one in August. Mia was a awesome Septum Piercer, very knowledgeable and even asked if I was going to flip my piercing. She also let me know what she was doing while she was doing the procedure. She is also a excellent tattoo artist. I will be back with my daughter to get Septum Piercing as well.

I got three ear piercing done by Missy including a helix, daith, and rook. I absolutely love them and they’re healing great. It was a very pleasant experience and not that painful at all. My helix piercing was bleeding but Missy kept me calm and comfortable.

My best friend and I got our first tattoos here and I wouldn’t go any place else! Justin was amazing! He talked us through everything and the tattoos came out flawless! It was a great environment and well priced. I highly recommend this place and Justin!

I really loved this tattoo place. I usually go to The one in hightstown but this one was recommended by a friend. Where do I begin...my artist, Joe Dillon, spent time designing my tattoo, making revisions and arriving at a design that I really liked. The interaction with Joe and the others in the shop was very enjoyable and positive. A really good vibe. This was my fourth tattoo but my first with Simply Ink. I must admit, I was excited about getting the tattoo, but fearing the impending pain a bit. When the session began, I was simply shocked. The pain was so slight and easy to take. Joe was an artist not only in his design but his finesse with his tools of the trade. I sat for two and a half hours and it was easy. The experience was great, the finished tattoo exceeded my expectations in design and awesomeness, and I cant wait to have another!! Three cheers for Joe D. and Simply Ink!!!

The Piercing guy Joe is the BEST!! He is very knowledgeable, extremely sanitary, gentle, and very experienced. I had a bad situation with a bad inexperienced piercing person at BIG BRADS TATTOO in So. River the end of March16 to put the jewelry back in my nose, it totally went wrong! I went back to SIMPLY and Joe corrected the situation with his experience and his compassion for piercing. The tattoo staff here at SIMPLY great, friendly, clean and professional too. Got my cartilage pierced by missy, it was very quick and clean. she was super friendly and kind, walked me through the piercing process, made sure i knew exactly what was happening while she was piercing me and made sure i knew exactly how to take care of my piercing. i definitely plan on coming back to get more piercings from her!

I already posted a lengthy review on Yelp that includes pictures of the tattoo in question, but it seems like the owner actually reads these reviews, and I have constructive criticism. First off my tattoo artist was an hour late to the appointment and I was the first of the day. I got a finger tattoo, being fully aware of the risks of fading and falling out. I have a hand tattoo so I’m very familiar with the difference in longevity. The tattoo artist said he was going to use the thinnest needle and it might not take well, and I could come back to get it touched up. After the first session I was really happy with the tattoo. I didn’t mind the punctuality problem so much. I even recommended the artist to a friend. But after three weeks a few parts had fallen out, which I didn’t think was a big deal. I thought it would be no problem to go back and get it done with a bigger needle, since I had the money for it. When I went for my second appointment however I was yelled at by the shop owner. He talked down to me like I was a child, and wouldn’t even look at the tattoo before giving his opinion on it. He told me that it was going to fade and I said I understand, and I didn’t mind getting it touched up. But he told me that I didn’t understand and used degrading language to me. This was my 6th tattoo, I’m not an idiot. The artist kinda just stood there interjecting every so often. He said that he would do it again but that the exact same thing would happen. I said (crying now) that I didn’t care. The artist went over the tattoo with a thicker needle. They didn’t charge me because it didn’t take up a lot of time or materials but I still tipped because I expected to pay anyway. It’s now been 4 months and it actually stayed how I thought it would. Yes it’s fading faster than my other tats but it hasn’t fallen out, just like my hand tattoo. The owner has to understand that the customers aren’t experts, but they aren’t dumb. If someone understands the risks of a tattoo and has no problem keeping up with the maintenance of it, then let them live.

I went to ink therapy tattoo & piercing today to get my nose pierced. Very clean, professional establishment, staff was very friendly along with helpful- they answered any & all questions I had. Chris pierced my nose, he was very thorough & detailed when explaining the process of the piercing along with the after care directions. I left ink therapy & tattoo with a little care package, they gave me a printout of cleaning instructions, along with the Himalayan pink salt - to be mixed with water as a cleaning solution, a pen & a business card. I just recently got my first ever tattoo here and loved the experience. I originally had an appointment for a different place and got a call cancelling it that day but I am so happy I ended up here. The staff was very nice and fun to be around. My tattoo came out incredible and I love it sooooo much. I plan on going back here for any future tattoos.

Just met Matt 2 days ago and he was not only super flexible, but his skill is unquestionably amazing. He put an amazing tattoo on my calf and put his own spin on my design (obviously with my permission) . Not that you expect it to feel good, but he also happens to have a lighter hand as compared with previous artists I have worked with (this was my 7th piece)... I can recommend him without any reservations!

I went to Ink Therapy on 9/22 and got a traditional snake and dagger from Justin and it came out amazing! This is my 4th tattoo from Justin and he always does a great job! Ink Therapy is great, it was recommended by a family member recently and 3 of us got tattoos here. Chris is an absolutely amazing artist and goes out of his way to answer all of your questions and ensures that you are getting exactly what you want. Came in for a labret piercing and it was FLAWLESS.I cannot recommend this shop enough. The piercer I had (I unfortunately don’t know his name, he had blonde hair and stretched ears) and the woman at the front desk are incredibly kind, patient, understanding, and SO clearly there to help you and make sure you get exactly what you want.I live out of state, but if I visit this area again, I will no doubt come back to this shop to get something. They are incredible. Thank you guys SO MUCH for such a fantastic experience. My first labret piercing was so botched, and getting it corrected here was the best decision I could have possibly made.

I visited the shop with my mom today. She had been here before and had a good experience as well.We went in last week to get a quote and we made an appointment for today. I appreciated that Joe took the time to explain why a particular tattoo that my mom wanted was too small and that it should be slightly larger. He said he would happily accommodate her request at a slightly larger size. He explained WHY in laymens terms and we appreciated that a lot.I appreciate peoples artistic integrity.Today we went in and were treated with excellent customer service. All the staff members were very friendly and accommodating. They answered all my ridiculous questions as well. The owner, Joe, literally had to explain the science of how the tattoo ink stays in the skin, between which layers, and how Neosporin damages tattoos by drawing the ink out. I can ask tons of questions and it can get overwelming for some folks.Needless to say hes very patient.Now our tattoos: we absolutely love them. Joe is very talented. Hes as patient with his work as he is with his customers. Joe takes his artistic integrity very seriously. We both feel he did an excellent job on our lettering.He even outlined our black lettering with white to help prevent any softening of the closed letters (they closed letters can completely close and blend). He even explain why.Also from what others have told me the prices were excellent. Especially for this quality... Check this place out.I do a lot of reviews. The whole ambiance of this shop was welcoming and accommodating. Its one of those few places that have a really great atmosphere that you dont want to leave.

Clean Tattoo place with obviously a skilled crew. Tom did a great job of what i essentially thought was an indian design. Awesome reproduction( and great attention to detail) of a wish by Tom. Great experience during the actual tattoo. Good aftercare instructions. Must say they also insist on following paperwork to the T. Only thing they are not too excited about is rescheduling😀

Ive gone here for 8 tattoos now. The artists are incredible, very patient with designing, and accommodating for appointments. The products they use are safe and clean, and they also have some pretty cool store merch. I honestly cant speak highly enough about this place.

They did a great job on the ear piercing for my 5 year old. Only thing to be aware of is when paying with card there is an additional 3.75 pct added.

I was told by the owner that the metal used for my piercings was surgical steel and that It would not tarnish or turn green or cause any reaction. This is not true. If you are going to get a piercing here be sure to ask for titanium. All other pieces of jewelry are extremely cheap and force you to return to the shop every few months to replace your tarnished jewelry.
