Marigold Adornment Tattoo, Piercing, & Jewelry.

Upon entering the studio for my piercing, I was welcomed with a smiling and gentle soul behind the counter, and got to enjoy some provided tea in their waiting area. The space is welcoming and calm, with beautiful art on the walls and serene noises played among some plants and a large window view of the street in front of the studio. Before making a decision on their wide selection of jewelry, Erica explained how all of the options were organized; by material, style and price. It was fun and easy to make a decision. I chose a gold disc for my nostril piercing. Erica made the whole process easy, and I truly felt that I was in good hands.Thank you, Erica and Marigold Adornment!

After seeing 3 different piercers from other places and getting my septum pierced incorrectly 5 times, I finally found a piercer that could pierce my septum correctly and straight with my deviated septum. Erica was amazing! She booked me a longer time slot to make sure she could take her time getting it right. She was very professional and took her time to explain everything and answer any questions. She is very experienced and knowledgeable. I would HIGHLY recommend her and will be going back to her for future piercings. Also to note, I love the jewelry options and how they can color or anodize jewelry in house in minutes. Thank you Erica for everything! You made me one happy girl.

I had the best experience with Erica for my jewelry change. I was ready for a full ear make over with new jewelry on my industrial bar, 4 helix, two conch, and Tragus. She helped me shop for over and hour hand selecting a cohesive look that would work together for both my ears. I wanted to switch to all gold and she suggested a motif with green and champagne accents. I would have never thought of it and they look AMAZING. This is really the only place in Vermont that has a large selection of high quality jewelry for every style. I can’t recommend marigold and specifically Erica enough- if you are looking to switch your look up but don’t know where to start ask for her !

The space is very clean and welcoming. All the employees are super sweet and helpful. My kid did not have any issues with infection or swelling, and they knew how to care for my piercing because of the amazing instructions given by their piercer!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Wonderfully clean with excellent sterilization routine. They also had an air purifier which I love seeing in use in businesses. The jewelry they sell doesnt have nickel in it either which is a huge plus for those with an allergy to it.

Made an appointment for a new piece of jewelry and change for an existing piercing. The selection was great, and the shop was very clean and the piercer who helped me was wonderful. I do feel that the prices were extremely high, it cost me $130 for a nose stud, surgical steel post with a tiny gold disc on the end, plus the shop fee to have it changed.

Marigold has exceeded my expectations in every way. Erica helped me start the process of correcting piercings that were improperly placed and was very thorough explaining everything to me. I have never had someone put so much attention to my piercings and I wasnt even there to get pierced! I cant say enough about this parlor or their piercers. Every time I come in I such an incredible experience, whether its for a piercing or to buy jewelry. it is so rare to find a shop that truly gives the profession the respect it deserves and I found that here at Marigold.

This place had glowing recommendations so I made the trip from Burlington for some ear piercings. The shop is beautiful and clean. Ari was super helpful in explaining the process and making sure I was comfortable.

I feel really grateful that we have a shop of such high quality in central Vermont. I had a bridge piercing from Michael a year ago and I literally could not ask for a better experience. He has a dedication to healthy healing but also makes his expert knowledge really accessible. The time that he dedicates to checking in on the healing process is impressive- I had two follow up appointments to make sure my surface piercing (something that is tricky to heal) to make sure it was healing appropriately. I would trust him to be honest with me about my progress.I have also had two sessions with Maya and they are the BEST. I was super vague with my prompt of “haunted house” and they just crushed it. They were even flexible even when I changed my mind after I said I was cool with the design. On the fly they added one my new favorite details. I just had another consult with them and I just know that they are gunna crush that design as well. They have a lot of patience and care about your well-being during the session. Also very considerate of your privacy.I hope that Michael and Maya continue to practice in Montpelier- you can’t ask for better artists!!!!! The shop is also super clean and the entire staff seems so chill.

I just got my very first tattoo at Marigold just a couple days ago, done by Alex. She was awesome to work with and did a fantastic job guiding me through the process and listening to and answering the multitude of different questions I asked throughout the appointment. She created a beautiful design for me based off reference pictures and a loose description and turned it into a real work of art. I’m already hooked on the idea of more tattoos!Not only did I have a wonderful experience working with Alex, but the entire shop has a friendly and welcoming vibe to it and the staff were all kind and humorous from what I could tell.15/10 stars if I could, absolutely hoping to go back again for more beautiful work or maybe even a piercing or two sometime!

I really can’t say enough good things about my experience at Marigold Adornment. I got my septum and nostril pierced. The piercer I worked with was Ari. He was absolutely amazing and so so sweet. He made me feel welcome immediately, and I was very at ease in the shop. It is impeccably clean and has a welcoming atmosphere. Ari presented me with a lot of different jewelry options, which I had never experienced in a shop before. He made sure I was aware of the process and pricing before we got started, so I didn’t have any sticker shock at the end. He happily broke down the pricing for me so I understood how it all added up. Before we got started, Ari explained every step of the process before even marking me. And he was happy to adjust placement when I requested it.The piercing process itself was great. Ari made sure I was ready and comfortable before piercing me. He was quick and steady with the piercings and really minimized the discomfort as much as possible. He explained aftercare thoroughly and made sure I felt comfortable with calling/emailing the shop if I had any concerns or questions.Honestly this was the best piercing experience I have ever had and will be returning to Marigold for the foreseeable future, it’s entirely worth the hour drive! Easily the cleanest and most professional piercing studio Ive ever been to, I initially went in just to get some of my earrings changed to higher quality rings, and ended up getting my tragus pierced as well! Michael explained everything very thoroughly, and was so friendly! definitely wont be going to any other studio for my piercings any time soon!

Came here with my cousin to get a couple of piercings done by Erica. I was very impressed when we walked in. This place is very clean and has a beautiful setup with lots of options for pretty jewelry. Also lots of books from each artist for references on piercings and tattoos to look at while you wait. Erica was very professional, informational and very serious about cleanliness. She made me feel comfortable and a lot less nervous about getting my piercing. I would 100% recommend Marigolds, and Erica, to anyone wanting work done had a wonderful experience.

I rarely leave reviews but we just had a great experience here. My two kids had their ears pierced by Ari. He was fantastic throughout the entire process! He made sure to confirm consent for each step and answered all of my daughters questions with patience. I couldnt be happier with our experience!

Ari was amazing! We chose Marigold Adornment to go to for our daughters ear piercing and we had an excellent experience. We loved that there is a consultation appointment prior to understand the process of getting your ears pierced. There were so many choices for earrings, the place was so clean and overall the process was so easy. I highly recommend!

Marigold is the best spot for tattoos and piercings in Vermont, period. The entire staff is extremely kind and welcoming, and the shop is meticulously clean and inviting.I have gotten several tattoos now from Maya, both custom designs and from their original flash artwork. They truly go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable, and are extremely knowledgeable about the art and process of their craft. They have a personal style that is traditional but uniquely cute, and they are masterful at linework as well as color.I recently got both earlobes pierced by Parker, and they were extremely informative about the process, vigilantly clean, and made sure the placement was exactly right. It also didnt hurt at all! And the selection of jewelry was great, from simple to unique shapes and of all different sizes.No matter where in the state you are located, I think it is well worth your time and money to make the trek to Marigold.

Erica did a fantastic job with my septum piercing. She was so kind and friendly, the space was clean/sterile, she was really informative and showed me everything that she was doing. My partner and i had an appointment to get our nose jewelry replaced. the staff was very friendly upon entry and asked helpful questions about the types of jewelry we were looking for. they even explained pricing differences between jewelry types and were very upfront about where costs were coming from.one of the piercers had an extra opening and let my partner get their industrial pierced on the spot. they made sure to check if the piercing would fit the anatomy of their ear, and gave clear instructions on the aftercare, as well as tips on how to care for a previous piercing from a different shop.overall my partner and i are more than happy with our experience and will definitely be coming back!! (not to mention they gave us stickers and snacks for the road!) thank you!

Ari was wonderful! Great experience with my daughter getting her ears pierced. He was calm, patient, communicated clearly on her level and kept her comfortable through the whole thing. He honestly went above and beyond my expectations!! My experience at Marigold Adornment today, was 100 per cent completely wonderful, and absolutely amazing!! I cannot rave enough~ the space is meticulously clean, with everything staged and arranged to maximize your comfort and your time while there. Upon entering the door, I felt the most beautiful welcoming energy.....as I was greeted by two of the warmest, most kindest people //staff members. Their expertise and knowledge was of the highest level~ (I appreciated that so so much and knew I was in THE BEST of hands!!) I received two piercings during my visit: a Helix, and Naval. They made sure my naval jewel would fit me perfectly~(It does~ its so exquisite and looks like Ive always had it, and that it was created just for my body), and, they also attentively assisted me in making sure I found exactly what my heart desired for my Helix piercing as well!! (Jewelry selection is just awesome~ I mean, where else could I have found a stunningly faceted, gem grade Peachy//Pink Imperial Topaz set in pure Rose Gold??? Almost too gorgeous to be true....like it was always there and meant for my ear :): ).Ari preformed the piercings for me, and all I can say, is he is incredible!! He made sure I was totally at ease, communicated clearly with me the whole time, and when it came down to receiving the actual piercings themselves, and placing my jewelry in~ I simply knew with no doubt, there is NO substitute for going to a piercer with that much knowledge and experience!! THE END.Ari set the tone for creating a very special memory~ as my husband and I were celebrating our anniversary today, and this was part of that celebration!! I got my septum pierced here by Erica and they did a FANTASTIC JOB!!! 10/10Beyond recommend this shop!I had previously gotten my septum done at different shop (NOT Marigold) and that piercer ha butchered my nose!! What an awesome place! I walked in to get some new earrings (you’re supposed to make appointments) and they were extremely accommodating and helpful in picking new jewelry as well as finding a slot between appointments to install it for me.Cheery people, pristinely clean shop, and caring staff. They genuinely want you to get the best product for you — not just the most expensive pieces they have like many other jewelry stores. I observed them with other customers too while I was waiting and they were equally welcoming to everyone. Everyone walked out with exactly what they wanted!

The owners, Michael and Jes, are so kind and knowledgeable. They really take the time to take care of their staff and clients.Went to Erica for a couple piercings almost a year ago and she took the time to make sure I was well educated on the process as well as the aftercare. She also made sure that we took the time to get the jewelry and placement just how I wanted.Saw Alex for a few tattoos last Spring. Not only did she take the time to meet with me ahead of time, but she also really listened to what I was looking for in a tattoo. Her artwork is so beautiful and she really took the time to perfect the look and placement of each design.Truthfully, can’t say enough good things about these two ladies along with everyone else at Marigold. I was totally astounded at the level of cleanliness and the professionalism of the shop and Ericas attention to such things (my other piercings were from decades ago at Claires/mall kiosks and now Im horrified for my past self). I came here for my very first tattoo and they talked to me and Answered all of my questions about sterilization. Maya Ferrell did an amazing job with the lines and shading of my tattoo. I showed it to my friends and they said it looked like it came from someone that has been doing this for a long time. I definitely will be back for future tattoos.

Not only are they extremely professional, knowledgeable, nonjudgmental, and supportive of all my endless piercing desires - they’re an extremely kind soul, super fun, and a pleasure to be around. I have gone to many different piercing studios and Marigold is by far the absolute best piercing experience hands down. Erica was perfect, very gentle and helpful. No clamps of roughness during the piercing. She took the time to go over jewelry options and pricing with me and answered all of my annoying questions. I got my conch done in both ears, one ended up still being open from a previous time and she pierced one. The new pierced one feels just as great as the one that was still open. I cant stress enough how crazy it is for my ears to feel this great after getting my conches done. Literally no pain at all. I will never go anywhere else to get piercings in the future.

Michael is an absolute maestro with a needle and one of the kindest human beings I have ever met. His passion for his craft is evident and he takes the time to educate you throughout the process. I recently purchased a beautiful earring from Marigold Adornment with the help of Erica. Unfortunately, not even a week or so later after buying it, I had to have an emergency procedure in which doctors removed all of my jewelry, and damaged my new gold ring in the process. I returned to Marigold thereafter to have the jewelry put back in. In assessing my mangled earring, Erica and Mike were very empathetic to the situation and went out of their way to repair the jewelry at no cost to me. I’ve been pierced in PA, NJ, NY, and WA, and this is the best place I’ve been to. The waiting period was 3 weeks when I booked my appointment and now I understand why. They do a great job of walking you through jewelry, sterilization, aftercare, everything. A beautiful studio! I was visiting from New Jersey and wanted to purchase some body jewelry while in town. I saw they had an opening, so I snagged it for a Jewelry Sale/Change/Removal appt. It was very easy to book my appt online! Michael was behind the desk and was very welcoming! He showed me every possible piece that would peak my interest and was right on the money! I love rose gold and left with some beautiful pieces Ive always wanted for my collection. Michael took his time with me from start to finish and I appreciated his patience. Overall a wonderful studio that I hope to visit again!

I highly recommend Marigold! Jes was so thoughtful and meticulous with my tattoo design. I emailed her my idea, then at the beginning of my appointment she sat down with me and talked through her plan for the tattoo to make sure we were on the same page and that I liked her approach. Ive never had a tattoo artist take the time to do that with me before! Then she took the time to make sure that the placement was PERFECT (it was a really tricky location because the tattoo is wrapped around my whole thigh). The tattoo turned out amazing and even better than what I had pictured.Overall, the whole shop is incredibly professional and client-centered and they clearly care about making sure their clients feel safe and comfortable. Getting a tattoo can be a stressful experience, so this kind of atmosphere makes a HUGE difference and is so appreciated ❤️Ive been tattooed at over 10 different shops throughout the country (and some international) and my experience at Marigold stands out as particularly special/exceptional. I definitely recommend.

They set me up with Patrick Murdough, an experienced and brilliant artist, who was just right for my particular project. During the process, Patrick was open to collaboration and honest about how my visual art ideas could best be rendered into a tattoo. He was attentive and good company. My tattoo is incredible! Im really excited about how it turned out! Ill be going back in for sure!

Pat squeezed me in and through together a rather different tattoo and I love it! Went back so he could do another very delicate tattoo for a friend, again it was beautiful! While there, they gave me a marylin monroe piercing in a few moments they had.Great atmosphere! Beautiful artwork! And awesome people. Great price! Highly recommend.

I brought my daughter in today to have her nose re-pierced and was extremely happy with the professionalism, cleanliness, expertise, and friendliness of Marigold. Jess thoroughly explained everything to both my daughter and I and even attempted to re-access the previous hole in an attempt to save her from having to go through another piercing. Sadly, the hole was healed. Being an OR nurse, I am pretty critical of cleanliness and sterility and I was truly impressed by everything Jess did, even changing her gloves multiple times and showing us that everything had been properly sterilized. Truly a top notch facility and I’ll never go anywhere else. Thank you!

I had been waiting a long time to add onto my locket tattoo. Everything has meaning behind it and I wanted it to be perfect. Alex at Marigold Adornment is amazing! She listened to what I wanted, added her own touches and just exceeded my expectations. I wanted to cry! ❤️ The locket was preexisting (which she also touched up). Cant say enough good things about this shop and their artists!

I went to Marigold a year ago with a new nose piercing so infected and swollen that the jewelry had completely sunken into my skin. (I got it pierced the day before in Salem, Massachusetts). Jes helped remove the nasty jewelry and clean it with as little pain as possible considering it was a fresh and very infected nose piercing. She was very professional, kind, and calm. She put in a new nose stud with the jewelry they have at the shop, and by the next day, the swelling, redness, and pain were completely gone -- she saved my new piercing!When my sister-in-laws were in the state and wanting a piercing, I automatically recommended Marigold, and they had an amazing experience and walked away with beautiful work! In the future, I hope to get a tattoo and theres no other shop that I would go to but Marigold. As someone with over 14 piercings (many closed now) that I have been collecting for 13+ years from all over Vermont, this is hands down the BEST shop I have ever stepped foot in. I cant recommend it enough!

This is a beautiful and clean shop! I was recommended by a friend that got her septum pierced, and was so happy with her experience! I got a tattoo by Jes. Jes was very helpful, kind, considerate and accommodating! The tattoo was basically painless and is gorgeous! I am definitely going back to Marigold Adornment for future tattoos/piercings!

I had randomly decided one day I wanted my septum pierced so I decided to look around to who would do piercing when I found this page. after seeing the jewelry selection it was no question I wanted to attend this shop. I mean who wants a basic ring right?? Once arriving I was welcomed friendly. Through the whole process I had been told each detail perfectly & was given such an assortment of options I had never experienced with any other piercing I have gotten before. The sterilization is also something I had never experienced in any shop EVER‼️‼️ I was 100% happy with my visit & will definetily be attending again ❤👌👍

I HIGHLY recommend Marigold Adornment for tattoos and piercings! The shop is VERY clean and beautifully decorated. It reminds me more of a medspa than a tattoo shop. Jes was incredible with all three of my tattoos (one of them was a coverup and her design incorporated some of the existing lines and shading so no one can even see the old one!). She also did my nose piercing and walked me through the whole process, helped me pick out jewelry (which are all implant grade materials made in the US!), and was so patient and kind during the whole process. I cant say enough great things about this shop and cant wait to get back soon!

I never want to have to go anywhere else for piercing (and assistance with reinserting jewelry) or a tattoo. This is a clean, super friendly, honest place thats been here for many years. These days, appointments are necessary except for browsing books and jewelry.

Got a small tattoo done by Jeff in March 2021, so COVID-19 was a concern of mine but the shop managed it very well. Signs at the door say not to enter without an appointment, and they make sure not to book things so that the shop will be crowded. The only person who came within 6 feet of me was Jeff, who was fully masked and gloved. He put a fresh plastic wrap on all the surfaces my skin touched, and sprayed it down with sanitizer. I was very ready skeptical that Id be able to get a tattoo and feel safe in the age of COVID, but Marigold did it well. (The tat looks great too!)

Very disappointed. Got my second hole in my nose done back in August and the piercing fell out in the shower a week later- mind you I paid $180 for the piercing and jewelry. In order to go back to get it put back in I needed an appointment. Just went today because it hasnt healed and they quoted me $15 at the door before they started and I called to pay and they said it was $30. Then had the nerve to ask for a tip. Owner is very unprofessional and rude. Wont go back AT ALL. Side note: The girl that pierced my nose and put it back in today was exceptionally nice.

Me and my mother got matching tattoos done by Pat, and let me just say... as someone who is a perfectionist and a stickler when it comes to line work and precision, I couldnt be happier with what he gave me. The lines are straight and its bold and dark like I wanted it, very smooth too. I got it done over a month ago, I wanted to wait and see what it looked like all healed before giving a review. I wish I lived in VT so I could make him my regular guy, but definitely will be getting some more from him during future visits. Thank you for giving me a piece that Im happy with.
