This place is the best, I came in with a bad tattoo and Gus did a EXCELLENT job with a couple cover up pieces. The consultation and the tattoo-ing was perfect. Gus made sure I was always comfortable throughout the whole thing. Not only is the type of work is off the charts, so are the people that work here. From the moment I came in to make an appointment til even after I got work done, they have treated me like family. I will continue to come and get more work done by who I now call family at Art of the Heart!!! Job well done guys!👏

Really great service and our artist was really understanding of what we wanted and went above and beyond for us. Come here for a bachelorette party of three and our artist took time to figure out what we each wanted and provided exactly what we had hoped. Very happy with each of ours and the bride especially, our artist was extra careful because of her condition which makes her feel pain more than most. Definitely would go back. Great service and great price. Really had a good time.

Art of the Heart is a great place to get a tattoo. Faith and Gus are very humble folks they own the shop. They make it a warm welcoming environment, everyone is friendly and respectful, and above all the artist are amazing. I Have got a lot of work done by Gus Byrd, cover ups; touch ups; script and color. He is astonishing, as you will see in is art work; this place is outstanding and highly recommended, you will not be disappointed.

Best place to get high quality tattoos. Ive never been happier with a tattoo shop, they have amazing deals and they really care and give you the best service ever! Came here two years ago for a double helix and my lobes pierced. The woman was nice but did an atrocious job. My helix are too close together and very crooked, and my lobes are off place. Not to mention it took TWO YEARS for both my helix to heal, just in the last two months have I been able to change the jewelry. They’re so crooked I constantly stab myself with jewelry and make my ears bleed. I also had piercing bumps and to this day if I leave the holes without any jewelry in them for even just two nights, they start to close. Same with my lobes, they start closing after only two days of no jewelry and I’ve poked a second hole in my right lobe from the piercing not being straight and me unable to find the other end of the hole. The woman who does the piercings here seriously needs to be fired and reevaluated as a professional piercer. If you want some actual awesome quality piercing done it’s worth the drive to San Jose to Player’s Ink. Both the piercers there have done an amazing job with my septum and my week-recent industrial piercing. I had no healing problems with either of them and my industrial piercing that I got just a week ago is already months ahead in it’s healing process. Even my piercers at Player’s Ink said the woman here did an awful job. DONT GET PIERCED HERE!!!

Ive been going to Art of the Heart for half a year now, and Ive had tattoos and cover-ups done by Alex Pacheco. He is extremely knowledgeable about tattooing and very patient & kind. I look forward to more in the future when he returns!10/10

Got a nose piercing and 4 days later I sneezed and my piercing fell out and I was able to put back in without it bleeding. It cost me 120.00 and I called several times so the guy that did the piercing could fix it. After going there and 10 calls in the guy doing tattoos told me he didn’t know the piercers schedule so I asked him how do I get a hold of him and the guy doing tattoos said call the shop. Again I called the shop and no answer, I left several messages and about a month later a girl called me and asked if I needed a piercing and I said no I need someone to fix what happened so I can get my piercing done correctly and she said if you want a new piercing I can help but you have to pay, if you want something fixed I can’t help you. I said it’s the same shop and she said she does her own thing. Would not recommend this place to anyone

I just wanted to say thank you to Alex and Jose. I took my 6 year old daughter in to get her ears pierced. Although she really wanted her ears pierced she was scared and crying. The both of them were so sweet and gentle with my daughter. They suggested to pierce her ears at the same time so she wouldn’t have to endure the pain twice and also used a numbing spray to help with the pain. Not only were they professional but they were both sweet and down to earth.Thank you!!

I found my new tattoo place!!!! I have been to a couple shops for my pervious tattoos but never felt as comfortable as I did with them. Gus did an amazing job helping decide on the size for the location I was thinking. And is helping me plan out my next tattoo in a couple weeks. They are very fair in prices and do a great job, but not only are they a tattoo shop but they have a very nice rockabilly clothing shop, if I had more time and more money I would have done some shopping. They have really cute purses, and the dresses are super cute and they have more than you think. They have larger sizes which is nice for everyone who wants to dress in the rockabillyrockabilly fashion. They also doing piercing, gave me something to think about,it might need to have something done. Faith and Gus are amazing and have a awesome shop. Definitely going back.

Gus is by far one of the most talented and respectable artist I have ever dealt with. He is not a hassle to deal with, does not act like a entitled tattoo artist, and will not blow smoke up your a** just to make a sale. Guss commitment to the craft is just what Morgan Hill needs.

Faith & Gus are awesome good people and artists, next special event or if you have never been to the studio, I have 4 tats, 2 artists from the list of employees and guest artists, 2 from Gus and I get more compliments on the ones that Gus did for me, and he has very soft touch and the tats look full and great, with no pain during or the next days afterwards

Best tattoo shop in the south bay period trust me I did my homework. Ask for Daniel he does top notch work and doesnt charge an arm and a leg too.
