The staff is SO awesome! Grace was super helpful on the phone before I came in and Zeb did an amazing job on my tattoo. This was such a great experience. Both workers were fun to talk to!!! I dragged my friend there with me and after we left we talked about how awesome our time was there.

Braddock always does a superb job, he’s done most of my tattoos, & I’m always happy with the result! Pictured is a tattoo he did on me yesterday. Keeps a very clean area & I never ever have any issues with healing. Always friendly & respectful too, of course! The receptionists were very friendly as well :) The shop itself too is very clean & I love the overall vibe of it, all kinds of flash & art on the walls & whatnot. I definitely recommend calling the shop & setting something up with Braddock! The shop does walk-ins on Saturdays & Sundays as well :) It’s a super great place in all aspects!

Such an incredible experience! I cannot recommend this shop enough. It is incredibly clean, and was being cleaned when I arrived for my appointment. I was tattooed by Christos, who is incredibly talented. Had wonderful conversations with him, and the shop owner, Eric, while being tattooed. The entire tattooing experience was more than I expected and would recommend this shop to anyone! Friendly staff and extremely talented artists.

Anytime anybody asks me where I go/where to get tattoo at without hesitation I always say Wild Zero. My experience with the shop has been mostly with the walk in weekends at the shop and the WV Tattoo expos.I currently have 22 tattoos as of right now and 19 of them were done here. I’ve been in a few shops prior to going here where I felt uncomfortable because the staff was either rude or stand offish, the prices were a joke and it just wasn’t an overall good vibe. That’s far from what you’ll experience here. The shop is well run, super clean, well decorated, super organized, has fair prices and always has a super positive “came as you are” vibe.I’ve been tattooed by both Brad & Zeb and they truly are some of the most talented, thorough, respectful, kind, and overall the coolest artists I’ve ever came across. They are super receptive to your ideas, take their time with drawing up the stencil, make sure you’re 100% happy with everything before they begin, and check in with you periodically making sure you’re doing okay. They’re super thorough they will go over lines again, and shade until it’s perfect so you walk out with a high quality tattoo. Not only that, but they make sure you don’t look a fool with certain things. They make sure the placement is perfect, if the placement that you’re wanting would end up looking weird/off they politely advise you and help find the perfect placement instead of letting you get whatever, and they’re super patient if you’re not happy with the placement/size or whatever they’ll redo it until you are 100% satisfied. They also do a good job at both giving you what you want but also changing it enough so it doesn’t look like what everyone else has (but if you’re the type who wants it 100% like the reference picture if it works/makes sense they will do it too!) They also have sick flash of their own you can check out if you want something by them and if you want something well drawn but more original. I only get black & grey traditional pieces and line work but i’ve also seen them do really well on other people with multiple different tattoo styles & types of colors/shading it’s super impressive how versatile they are. Every time after we get done and I go look at the finished piece I’m always blown away, & it’s always 10x better than the ideas I present to them. Their prices are more than fair actually to the point there’s been times I’ve even tipped extra than I normally do because I’m like there’s no way it was only that much for how high quality of work they just did like it really doesn’t get better than this especially for walk ins.They also sometimes have guest artists which is great because it opens up slots for more walk-ins and the owner always does a fantastic job of picking only the best to come in.Not only are the artists super great but so is their other staff. My favorite is their front desk person Alexis (she doesn’t tattoo, but she is also an amazing artist as well). What makes her stand out is not only is she super friendly/polite she does a fantastic job at making sure she understands what you want before informing the artists, organizing a schedule for all the walk-ins to make sure the artists have enough time to get through everyone that has come in, and overall she just is amazing with keeping everything smooth & together for the walk in days. What makes Alexis stand out is that she talks and engages with us customers whenever she has the free time to do so which makes the shop feel extra homey and again makes you feel like you’re in good hands and shows how much everybody there cares. She also, has top tier music taste so she always fills the shop with good music.Wild Zero is more than a tattoo shop it’s also an experience of it’s own and really a staple in the Morgantown community. If you’re looking for the best tattoo shop and/or walk in experience in WV look no further. I promise you you’ll become a regular.

This place is absolutely the best. Christos was able to do such an amazing job with my tattoo (my very first one) and he answered all of my questions. First impression when I went here is that it was professional and very clean. Beautiful studio. Ive been here for two consultations and two tattoos with Eric and I appreciate his approach, guidance and honesty with my ideas. This tattoo was done last month by Eric and I am so happy with it. I was stunned by what he had tattooed for me. I am grateful and extremely happy with the results. I love the color combinations he came up with. My sister and I got matching heart tattoos on our fingers. The line work on both of our tattoos are messed up and they didn’t even make a complete heart on my sister’s finger. We couldn’t see any of this until after we left because we were bleeding where we were tattooed. My tatto is about 1/2 in x 1/2 in and my sisters is smaller and we were both charged $100 because that was the minimum price, which we weren’t told about until we had to pay.

I got tattooed by Eric a few weeks ago and it was a great experience - just what I was looking for. We set up a consult so I got to meet him and discussed what I wanted; he had a drawing on my appointment day, and made very slight adjustments and we got to work. I was very comfortable chatting with him & Chris and it was a pleasant day. Not least, the tattoo is beautiful. Ill definitely be back. Thanks, Eric and crew!

Eric and the crew at Wild Zero are phenomenal artists and have a great demeanor with customers. I have been using Wild Zero for years and have found it to be the best Tattoo shop in Morgantown. Went to Wild Zero on a Saturday for one of their walk in days. From the beginning everyone was super nice! Mason, the front desk guy, was super friendly and we had a great time talking to him about his cats! Zeb did my tattoo and it was way better than I could have expected! The tattoo I was getting had a spot of detail that I left up to his creative freedom and Im obsessed with the work he did! Zeb was also very nice and made the experience great by talking to me during my session. I would def go back for another tattoo!I arrived an hour before open and was the only one there for a while. If you plan to go for a walk in I would recommend showing up 30 to 45 minutes before open if you want to get in quickly.

As far as Im concerned, this is the best shop in North Central West Virginia. Eric is a wonderful artist who takes the craft seriously and strives to put ink on you that both of you can be proud of. He goes out of his way to cater to his clients. The staff is kind and provides great service. The prices are great, especially considering the quality of the work.Ive gotten three decent sized tattoos from Eric over the last ten years. I havent had any of them touched up and they are still vibrant. Ive gotten several compliments from complete strangers on the quality of my tattoos.If you dont care about getting a high quality tattoo that will last for a long time without touch ups, go somewhere else. If all of that is important to you, go to Wild Zero.

Justin Hyde is amazing! Very kind and professional. He goes to great lengths to make sure you’re getting the tattoo you want and that you’re comfortable! Even if he has to point you in the direction of another artist for the style you want. I’d give more stars if I could!!

The place was nice and clean very professional. The tattooist i got kinda had a attitude with me over a design cause it wasnt his style. The second complaint is that he is overpriced i wanted a simple tattoo to make the one already on my arm. He said hed do it for 400 dollars, i got mine done faster and for only around 200. Other then that place was fine.

I picked some flash off the wall and told him that I didn’t want it to go down into my hand from my wrist, he said okay wrist only. I paid my deposit and when I went in for my appointment and the placement of the flash was definitely on my wrist but it did go down onto my hand a bit, I asked him to resize the flash or try to move it a bit and he basically refused. He said something along the lines of not redrawing stencils or resizing flash, honestly I was really upset as I didn’t want this tattoo to be on my hand so I went home with nothing.

It was my first tattoo. Nick explained everything to me since I was new. I felt confortable there because they all have been doing tattoos for a while. Im on blood thinners and he had experience with people being on blood thinners. I recommend going here to get any tattoo!! I will be returning. And for those first times like I was, it doesnt hurt a lot. I got my outline and coloring the same time.Nick listened to me when I told him that it started to hurt when he did one spot for to long. It took under an hour for everything to be done!I will return!!

Fantastic tattoo shop. Eric has done my last 6 tattoos and I couldnt be more satisfied with the work he has done. The staff are always friendly and I feel comfortable in the shop (unlike the sterile, unfriendly environment of your run-of-the-mill tattoo studio). They offer prices that are comparable to other shops, but a quality that is beyond anything Ive seen from the various studios Ive visited nationwide. Even after I leave Morgantown, I will personally fly out Eric to wherever Im living to get my next work done. If you want a high quality tattoo, a friendly and unique environment, and an overall positive experience, definitely go to Wild Zero, you wont be disappointed.

I have been getting tattoos at Wild Zero since 2007. Ive had work done by both Chris and Eric, and every time has been exceptional, and Ive left amazed. The attention to detail is always impressive, and its nice that they wont do just anything to make money.. if its going to look stupid at a certain size, theyre not going to do it. Most of my work has been intricate, and has turned out nothing other than exactly what I wanted. I would recommend Wild Zero to anyone.

I have gone to Wild Zero for all of my tattoos over the last 8 years. Eric and his team are all wonderful people and they manage a beautiful and pristine studio. All of the artists have outstanding portfolios and the work they do is the highest quality. I cant sing their praises enough. Wild Zero is the best.

As a business person and a tattoo lover it can be a delicate mix between the two. The work I have received at Wild Zero has been excellent to say the least. Feel comfortable knowing that you are in good hands. When it come to the personalty of the folks that work there, I have always felt a good vibe. Not a biker/badass kinda shop.. Old School feel and nice atmosphere.. As well as great artwork on the walls to enjoy!

Theres a few reasons I travel from Pittsburgh to Wild Zero for all my tattoos: the artists care about giving you a quality piece that isnt only what you want but also something the artists themselves would be proud to show off. For first timers or those new to the shop it is a very relaxed, inviting atmosphere. The guys are more than willing to discuss ideas and dont condescend when explaining what parts of your tattoo ideas will or wont work. There is no pressure to get it immediately; everyone gets a consult so the artists can take time to make the best possible design. Ive had over ten hours of work done and Ive been impressed with the results every single time. Since college I havent gone anywhere else and its a testament to the standards of the shop and the hard work of Eric, Chris and Josh.

Absolutely wonderful place. My mom and I drove 4 hours to come here for tattoos and were not disapointed. They were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They went above and beyond to get my mom and I the perfect tattoos for our different personalities. Would certaintly recommend this place. Nick Ackman is a great artist and answered all of our questions. He was so kind and really did a fantastic job.

Nick did a jam up job on my tattoo. He took the time to talk to me about my expectations and give me his input. The tattoo turned out great and I made another appointment on the spot. Looking forward to many more great looking tattoos by Nick.

Wild zero is s great shop, it has a great feel to it. I would recommend Justin Hyde to anybody looking for a great traditional tattoo. He is the kindest person and is always ready to do some bad ass tattoos. I have a full sleeve and am in progress of sleeveing my other arm all done by Hyde. Hyde has been my guy for the past 2-3 years, slowly working on my arm and shoulder. He is the nicest dude and always makes sure Im as comfortable as I can be and does a great job! Paid my deposit for a tattoo, waited several weeks and went in to get the tag- the artist had scheduled someone else over me and told me to go home and that my tattoo wasn’t in his style. Couldn’t call and tell me. Literally just wasted hours of my time in the tattoo place explaining what I wanted and then waiting for him to show up( he was late)— just to have him tell me no two weeks later

Have been to the shop many times, tattooed by Eric, my girlfriend has been tattooed by Eric and Ben. Always wonderful work. Ben is superlaid back and does great art. Eric always produces quality tattoos and is never short on dad jokes. They even feature guest artists at times, which is awesome if youre a collector of peoples work like I am (I have over 100 hours of tattoos from 8 different artists).The piercer is very kind and accommodating. Jordyn is always looking out for the customer and wont do a piercing unless both the client and her are comfortable with it. She wont lie to you and tell you daith piercings cure migraines, they dont. And she wont improperly pierce you if your anatomy isnt correct, rather she will discuss your options.Ive been to both shops and the new shop is beautiful and very clean.

Loved the experience here! Everyone was helpful, pleasant, but not afraid to express their limitations (which I definitely prefer, to avoid ending up with a crappy tattoo). They took the design that I initially wanted, and drew up one that captured the spirit of the design but that would work at the size that I wanted it. Ive been a client at Wild Zero since I was 18. I waited until I was of age to get my first tattoo by them. I have not been disappointed by them once. Ive listened to their suggestions without any questioning most times and each time its turned out great. If you are a first timer, heres something to keep in mind. The artists there are not rude, they have been tattooing for years and have experience in what they do. If it seems like they are criticizing your idea, its probably for the better, even if it comes out harsh. They know what they are doing. Its not because they want you to think your idea is stupid or anything like that. The artists are simply going to blunt about everything. Its how they do things. Once youve been there a few times, and you get to talk to the people that work there, you just understand why they are forward. Its because they take pride in what they do and they dont want their artwork being misrepresented. The quality of the tattoos are very well done, long-lasting, and very unique. If you want to go get a tattoo that will fade away in a year, go to another shop. But if you want the best of the best in Morgantown. Suck it up. Take the suggestions. Christos is amazing! He has worked with both my wife and I on several occassions and is very knowledgable and talented. He takes the time to provide expert insight to make sure that your design (or his) fits what you are looking for. The bottom line is that he ensures that he educates you in regards to your decision. Some people may take this as offensive or opinionated, but I appreciate his passion for providing only quality work. The staff in general are personable and accommodating and the environment is clean and sanitary.

Ill begin this review by noting that the only reason this studio warrants 3 stars is because of my past experiences with them, not current. I am a 26 year old female who has received 3 stellar tattoos at Wild Zero. I left WV in 2009 and have waited years for another tattoo until I was able to go back to Wild Zero to get their work done again. On July 5th, I made an appointment with Rhodes for a simple, script tattoo. I arrived early with multiple images, a clear idea of what I wanted and an open mind. When I met Rhodes, he was unfriendly and hurried. I explained my vision - to which Rhodes had ZERO questions and he sent me on my way so that he could work up something for me. He asked me to come back in 5 hours. Since I no longer live in the area, I successfully drove around Morgantown and killed 5 hours with my patient parents in the car. I went back to the studio 10 minutes early to see what he had drawn up for me. I was unbelieveably HORRIFIED to see that this artist had drawn up the ugliest script tattoo in what looked like kindergarden-man-handwriting. This was absolutely nothing like I had explained with the words: Girly, script, petite, pretty. I was going to get this tattoo on my shoulder, near my FACE and this artist draws the ugliest 3 words I have ever seen. I gave this man 5 hours to basically copy what I had brought to him, and all he produced was something he had quickly written on a piece of paper.He then had the audacity to argue with me, telling me that what I wanted wasnt possible. I may be a tiny, 5-foot-tall, curly headed woman, but I am not NEW to the world of tattoos.I left the studio without a tattoo and in tears because Rhodes did not respect me from the second he met me. He didnt take my requests seriously - as was evident in the work he showed me 5 hours later. Some may think this review is harsh, but I have never felt so disrespected in my 26 years of life. I wasted 5+ precious hours with my parents because of this unprofessional artist.It would have been nice to have been given an appointment with someone who feels comfortable with written tattoos, especially because I was very open about my wants and the fact that I was travelling 7 hours to come to them.

Justin is amazing! I wouldnt go to anyone else. His work speaks for it self and the place is super clean, very friendly staff. Looking forward to having more of his art work to show off!
