I brought my ideas to Jessica and she turned the randoms symbols I suggested into a masterpiece! She listened to my ramblings and somehow understood, which is a feat in itself. That she was friendly, professional, and fun was an added bonus! 10/10 recommend!

The owner Eric stands by his shop! Came in a few months ago (and an artist whom is currently no longer there) and my tattoo was not good! Called spoke with owner (Eric) he said that employee is no longer there and he would fix it for me.He ended up doing a cover up and I’m completely happy how it turned out! He did it completely free on his own time! Eric you did not have to do that and I really appreciate it! This is what I mean by he stands by his shop! Thanks again for everything and when this heals I’ll be back to do the other arm.

A very lovely mom&pop shop. It had a friendly atmosphere where everyone was laughing and interested in what tattoos were going on. I even changed my design the day of and my artist was very accommodating. I love my tattoo, it is exactly what I wanted. I will be returning here with all my tattoo ideas. Prices were extremely reasonable. Highly recommend.

Great work, Erik fixed a tattoo of mine, and did multiple others for me. I would highly recommend anyone to any artist there depending on what you are looking for.

We took our 6 year old daughter here to get her ears pierced on her birthday and they did a fantastic job! Clean and friendly place. The female woman who works there went above and beyond trying to convince our daughter to get the 2nd ear done. Our daughter was so nervous and adamant that she wasn’t going to get the second done because it hurt so much. They allowed us to go outside, walk around, and take some time to decide. She ended up getting her second one done and is SO happy with herself! The man who did hers was awesome and made her laugh through tears. Definitely recommend!

I use this location everytime I want a new piercing. They always do an excellent job, they know how to keep you calm when you’re nervous, they’re friendly, and all together a delight to be around. I’ve never had an issue with them and they will always have you leaving with a smiling on your face. You can tell they really love what they do and they put their all in it. I will always strongly recommend purple monkey.Editing to update: i seen pat (aka pitbull) for a recent piercing and have to say I enjoyed every second! Such a nice guy, great at communicating, and showing the process, eases the anxiety you may feel when getting pierced. Amazing guy!!

Sammi was wonderful. She listened attentively to what I wanted and helped brainstorm and try out different things until it was just right and I was happy with what I was getting. She was very professional and clear on what was going on and how things would proceed and was then very efficient in her work doing a superb job in a reasonably quick amount of time. I am very satisfied and will definitely be going back to her specifically for future work. Highly recommended.

I went in for my very first tattoo I dealt with Erik. He was very easy to talk to.Made you feel very welcome. Erik did a great job on my tattoos. I would definitely be returning to have him do more.

I took my 3 daughters there to have their ears pierced. We had Angela and she was wonderful. She explained everything well and had a fantastic personality. She made the whole process easy for the girls. I would recommend her to anyone looking to get a piercing.

Best place around for a tattoo, very affordable and the owner Eric is one of the nicest guys youll ever work with. He really cares about your tattoo as much as you do and they are much less expensive then any other shop in the area (Ive been to most) what youd pay 450 at another shop youll pay 200 here with the same if not better quality which they stand behind. This place had a very nice environment inside. The owner was very nice, and his team was nice as well. My wife,her two brothers, and their father got matching tattoos to remember their younger brother that they lost. We laughed and had fun and the artwork was amazing . Had to wait.. but it was 100% worth it! He made my tattoo almozt identical to thr Autograph.. Not only does my tattoo look AMAZING but Eric was so friendly, very professional and his crew really seemed like great ppl. I was pierced here a few days ago, and I ended up in the ER for it, I later found out I didn’t have the anatomy and that the guy who pierced me pierced through a vein. Non stop bleeding and a lot of pain.

I have received three tattoos from Purple Monkey Tattoo and my wife has gotten multiple piercings. Holly is an amazing artist who puts a lot of detail into her work and the love of it shows through the whole experience. She makes sitting through a tattoo as pleasant as it can be...lets face it, its not always fun to sit through hours of getting a tattoo! The owner is a wonderful and thoughtful guy who checks in on his artists and takes the time to get to know the clients. Its a great environment where it seems everyone is supportive of each other. Highly recommend.

Great customer service, friendly environment, and it has a very clean and welcoming feel to it.I took my daughter to get her ears pierced, and Scott did a great job with her. Not just the piercing itself, but also keeping her calm (she is 7) and making it a fun experience.He put on a tail and unicorn horn and tried to keep her smiling and distracted, since she was a little nervous.Overall a wonderful place. The piercer that was there was so wonderful!! Very helpful in picking out jewelry and was even able to iodize a nose ring to change its colors on site. They were kind and also helped go up a gauge size. The owner/manager that was there was killer and so knowledgeable on all of my piercings and questions I had about them. Go check them out!! 10/10 recommend them even off of just their customer service.

This place is top notch. Clean, organized, professional, and the staff is so friendly the second you walk in the door. I drove an hour to have my 7 year old daughters ears pierced here. So worth it. Scott was very nice, wore his famous unicorn headband, played a kids movie, and had perfect placement. I am so happy. I also love that he will only use titanium earrings, which prevent irritation and infection. I am a nurse so when I called ahead , you had me at titanium earrings (along with the great reviews). Miss Kylie loves her sparkly ears. Thank you so much!!

The atmosphere is terrific and so comforting. Everything is completely sanitized and the staff is amazing. I got my septum done last Wednesday by Scott and Ive never been happier with a new piercing. He explained everything so clearly and calmed my anxiety. Ill be back soon!!

I took my daughter to pierce her nostril. The studio was clean and workers friendly. Chewie did her piercing. Everything was clean and sterile. He was obviously experienced and knowledgeable about piercings, healing, and possible problems as well as how to prevent them. He had a relaxed but professional manner as he talked me and my daughter throught the procedure. He answered questions that I did not even know to ask. Overall, I am very pleased with the experience. My daughters piercing looks great. I definitely recommend going to this guy to anyone wanting a piercing. Thanks Chewie!

I got a rib cage tattoo done. It was a medium sized piece. And my first piece in such a sensitive area. Im also quite modest so getting one in that area was a huge deal to me. Sammi not only went above and beyond designing a beautiful work of art, but she also made me feel welcome and comfortable and from start to finish it was my best ever tattoo experience. All of the staff is super welcoming and non judgmental too. Best experience and I will be back soon ❤❤❤

If you hear poor rumours about purple monkey, i am here to assure you they simply are so untrue.I made an amazing choice coming here to get some tattoos done. I had Josh as my tattoo artist (book him- he’s amazing). Staff is like family there. They offered me a ride home because i felt sick. I feel the best vibes from this place and shoutout to the staff for being so understanding and compassionate. I wouldn’t be leaving this review if i didn’t think Purple Monkey deserved it. Hell, i think this is my first time ever leaving a review somewhere. Anyways, they went above and beyond and definetly earned 5 star rating. Will be returning and I advice you to as well 😊

They were amazing!!!!! Scott was just down right awesome!!!!! He walked me through what was going to happen and what he was going to do. He was super helpful with explaing the after care steps. He was super supportive as well. which made me feel better about the whole experience since I was freaking out. Just the staff in general were just super kind and passionate about what they do. You could tell they really care about their customers and getting the job done right and the best they can. Scott and the other staff I have gotten services from are very knowledgeable in their profession and really take pride in their work. Overall Purple Monkey is a kickass place to get piercings or tattoos done!!!!!

I went in for a consultation. I told the artist what I wanted. He said give him a few days and Ill draw up something to see if you like them. Over three weeks, I heard nothing, I texted the person no responses. I called, still nothing. Not professional and very discourteous . I highly not recommend. There are too many shops that would always welcome their clients business.

Would be 5 stars but the guy in there named Roy is very unprofessional and should not work with the public at all he took my ole lady’s name off her paperwork added her on fb and was trying to pay her for very inappropriate things neither her or I will ever be back in there if he is there!!! She was very weirded out about the fact that this happened! We will be finding a new place strictly because if this!!

Shout out to Sam Agonis!! She did an AMAZING job with my cherry blossom/butterfly tattoo on my shoulder. She is truly a talented artist and executes her work with precision but also with an awareness and sensitivity to her client’s comfort level. Purple monkey is by far my favorite tattoo shop! Everyone is always so nice and I always feel welcome. Eric has just finished the 2nd tattoo he has done on me and I don’t believe I’ll go anywhere else. Each time I came in, I showed him a picture of what I wanted and both times he completely went above and beyond! There’s so much detail and I cannot express how pleased I am with both tattoos. Eric, the owner, is very skilled and a pretty cool dude. He got my very large somoan tattoo done in about 8 hours, costing $750. The place is very clean and well air conditioned. Eric tends to be about 15 minutes late, but its not his fault, he is taking care of animal shelter dogs and one is so old it cant hear him calling, so he has to search the pasture.

This is the cleanest and most comfortable place to get a tattoo within a 30-mile radius. The entire staff is outstanding and friendly. I have to recommend Doc, although I assume all the artists here are the best of the best.Doc is a 30-year artist and performs miracles when it comes to ink. Its a big decision to get a tattoo and an even bigger decision as to where to get it done. I am a local guide and for the first time of reviewing businesses in an honest and true manner, I would give them 10 stars if I could. Heed my advice and do to Purple Monkey! You will not be disappointed. Ask for Doc!

Im 58 years old and just got my nose pierced. Eric was so nice just talking to me as he was doing it. I had hardly any pain with him talking to me.

Cody does a fantastic job, took me last minute & got a piece knocked out in a few hours for me, He does some excellent shading work & his lines are extremely clean, anyone looking for some new tattoos, Cody is the guy to see!

Second tattoo at the purple monkey. Went there with my girlfriends and we all got a little something piercings and tattoos. Scott did a awesome job at piercing all three of our ears (cartilage ). He was very nice and very professional. Scott even stayed a little later to make my birthday experience awesome.. Sam, is new to the purple monkey . Sam had done an awesome tattoo of a lotus and semicolon on my girlfriend and also did two written tattoos on my arm. She took her time to make sure that my tattoo was straight on my forearms. Sam stayed very late to finish. She did great job. Thank you both.

This place is only getting better with time. They are there to make your tattoo fit the look you been wanting to have. They fix and/or cover up other tattoos you wish looked better. Everything is orderly and unique. I will keep going back to get the best

I got a facial dermal by the eye, I’ve seen/heard many names for what I got so I’m just going to call it that haha. But, I had some complications with coming in on days piercers weren’t in and I had other things to do later which really isn’t the shops fault, but they still gave me a discount they truly didn’t need to give, so I still tipped $20 & I did that because Eric and everyone else was very friendly. Also, Eric was also very professional and clean and was also informative. Would recommend highly!

Bill did my daughters naval piercing. He did a great job very professional, took his time double and triple checked for the perfect position. Very clean and sanitary. Also very thorough and explained everything.Definitely will be coming back to see him for any future piercings.

Dom did an amazing job on my first ever big tat. Shading was gorgeous, beautiful artwork. Five stars for DOMHowever I didn’t appreciate having so many staff people keep coming back into the room to see my tattoo. One guy come in and coughed (it was mucusy too) all over us. It was beyond gross. 🤢🤮 THAT makes me not want to come back. That feels unclean and unsanitary. Do you go cough up your mucus all over the place, or just in the room I’m in? So so so gross!!! Nasty!!Look - If I wanted four massive gross men coming to peer in At my tattoo process, I’ll let you know. I want to come back but this part was beyond annoying and nasty. Why do you assume I want your gross face looking at me? I don’t. Go to work. Find yourself some clients, and stop bugging the ones who aren’t there to see you.

My husband brought my 7 yr old daughter there for her ear piercings. He said the guy doing her ears was very careful and took his time with what he was doing. He even went as far as being so awesome for her that he wore a unicorn horn and tale to make her feel more comfortable. Yet, she already was! She thought the place was so cool!! Deff would tell my friends to come here. I got a small wrist tattoo...and even though it was a simple and easy tattoo,the results were still very mind blowing! And to top it off,the staff is SUPER friendly!!! This will be the place I go to when I plan my next tattoo ♥️

Great place. Got my nose pierced by Scot, super fast and very clean... then had an issue a few months later that on my first day of a new job my piercing had to be out and I didnt try to take it out untill 20 minutes before having to be there. I called the shop and told them I couldnt get it out and explained the situation. I sped there and the guy took it out real quick. So, I recommend this place definitely!

I went to get my septum pierced about three months ago. I have a fear of needles but the piercer just talked me through the process, helped me to feel as comfortable as possible, and he was very friendly. Everything was clean and the environment was safe and inviting. Will definitely be going back for my next piercings.

I got a dermal piercing here. Scott was amazing, made me feel super comfortable and was really professional. He explained the piercing to me and made sure I knew how to take care of it afterwards. They have a great selection of jewelry, which they can change for you once it helps. Such a great experience!

Ben was super awesome to us last night. Our dog unexpectedly passed and we wanted tattoos to cope with the pain. He stayed open and kept us laughing the whole time to accommodate our needs. His lettering is amazing to boot 😉

Brought my 9yr old daughter in to get her ears pierced. Did not want to go the Clairs or Piercing Pagoda, it is very traumatic & painful at those locations. I apologize for not remembering their names, but the lady at the desk & the gentleman that did the piercing....thank you so very much for making this such a calm, pain free, experience for my daughter. She was extremely nervous but they did everything to make this lifelong experience truly precious, amazing, & pain free. I will definitely recommend this very clean, very friendly establishment to all!

I had an appointment for 5pm for a piercing, got there on time, but still had to wait until 6 to be seen. Very few people wearing masks. But I like my piercing and its been two weeks with no issues, so thats good!

I went to the Purple Monkey for a very simple tattoo on April 29, 2021. The pictures below were taken on June 7, 2021. This tattoo was done very poorly and it has since then scarred. I followed all the recommended post care procedures. This was a very simple tattoo, but the execution was failed. He is a very new artist, and is using a rotary machine when I believe he should be using a coil machine as he is so new. The artist I saw is Philip. He was a very nice guy, listened to what I wanted, just wasnt able to execute this tattoo. I now have to find a shop that can figure out what I can do with this tattoo, whether it can be cleaned up or if I should get it covered.

I absolutely love the piercer. I got a Monroe awhile back and had to take it out for a little bit. I could not get it back in and when there to get it pierced again. It actually was never closed and only charged me for the jewelry. Has tons of knowledge to share as well.

I enjoyed getting my tattoo here about a year ago, I had them recreate a picture my daughter drew. And there hasnt been a day I dont love it. I was a walk in and was helped right away. I thought the pricing was reasonable as well.

Not too happy. Saw Sammy. Gave a simple photo with measurements. This is what I got. They also need to clean up the store, mop the floors. I do not like to give yucky reviews but this is a must. This was suppose to match my 2 daughters and mine does not.

Got snake bites on the first of December and its now the 22 they are healing beautifully and I also went and got father daughter tattoos from Chris today and they turned out better than I could have hoped for.

Careful of this place. After my initial inquiry asking and showing them what I was looking to have done, several of the staff reaching out to me and them sending me design ideas. I called to set up my appointment and was turned down by a rude man telling me what I wanted was a waste of their time and they wouldnt do it. ??? Why waste of my time if you werent ok doing my tattoo? Guess I should assume theyre just not capable.

Husband and I are long haul truck drivers, just had a piercing to help my headaches and the little tiny ball fell out. Called and the gentleman came to our truck and fixed me up. Wonderful man. Thanks so much

I had my septum peirced here and it looks fantastic, my peircer took his time and it came out great. I also had my first tattoo done here and it was beautifully done.
