Ash is amazing!! She is very attentive and caring! She conquered covering up two previous botched, blown out tattoos (done by another person). She took extra time during my consult to figure out what would work best for the coverup and what subject matter I would love. The appointments were fun and cathartic for me :) Thank you so much Ash :)

Ash was so kind and very patient working through my tattoo design. The tattoo is beautiful, the color and line work are skillfully done. She really knows her stuff! Not only is the tattoo amazing but the entire system of aftercare is so well thought out. Ash sets you up for success by explaining and also providing a personalized little pamphlet.

I cannot recommend Yokai Ink and Ash ENOUGH! This was my first tattoo and I was very nervous. She made it such a comfortable and wonderful experience. She explained everything perfectly, let me pause when I needed it, and I really felt like my comfort was in the forefront of her mind. I love my tattoo so so much and I will definitely be back for more ink from her!!! Shes the best!!!!Edit 02/08/24:Just wanted to say, I went back for another tattoo from Ash and it was just as amazing as the first! She is so talented and so wonderful to work with! If you want some ink, I cannot recommend Ash enough!!!!

My husband and I visited Ashley 5/16/22 to have tattoos completed in celebration of our 7th wedding anniversary. We decided to go with Ashley after viewing her work on a mutual friend. We knew her execution was great and her portfolio showed a breadth of skill. We already had high expectations and Ashley managed to EXCEED them! She managed to give me the delicate refined floral tattoo I had hoped for AND the Celtic tribal masculine tattoo my husband wanted. We also had the pleasure of spending the whole day with Ashley and she was a delight to be with. I couldn’t recommend her more highly!

If I could give more stars I would! Ash not only has an amazing personality shes an amazing tattoo artist. She was extremely professional and easy to talk to. I went to a very reputable/ well known shop and paid way to much for a not so good tattoo. Ash made my arm not so good tattoo look like a masterpiece. Ive had several tattoos and this was by far was the best experience.

Ash, from consultation to the end of the tattoo, is wonderful to work with! She did an AMAZING dragon + capricorn tattoo on my husband!! She drew it from scratch and understood exactly what we envisioned - without any discussions after our first consultation. We love how it turned out and definitely recommend any first-timers or tattoo veterans to go to Ash! She is beyond qualified and talented for this. I cant speak enough positive words about her!!Update: Just got my hip done with Ash after my husbands appointment and she was wonderful again throughout the whole experience! So patient and sweet. I was able to just lie there and talk to her the entire time she was tattooing my side and hip. It was so pleasant that it makes me think of getting another tattoo already! Love her and her craft! Ash is amazing! I came here for my first ever tattoo and she made me feel comfortable. She took the time to make sure the placement and sizing was perfect. The drawing was exactly as I had requested. She also gave thorough after care instructions. She is also super sweet and super fun to talk to during the tattoo!

Had the pleasure of getting a tattoo from Ash. We met to go over the design, and from a reference photo and a rough idea of what I wanted, she was able to design the tattoo in the attached image. Due to her busy schedule, she wasnt able to show me the design until I came back in for my appointment--but she was very generous in giving me a space for quick tweaks or even rescheduling my appointment while she worked out any problems I had. She neednt have offered either, as the design she showed me was better than what I had imagined.Before and during the tattoo itself, Ash was professional and communicative. She was patient and offered me ample breaks to stretch. I brought a book to read, but Ash was a great conversationalist and I never ended up opening it during the 4-hour sit.Seems like shes in high demand, which is its own proof that shes 5-star. Next time I get a tattoo while Im still in this area, Ill go back to Ash.

Awesome tattoo artist who designed my tattoo based off of an image of a smoky dragon. Ash was very considerate, informative, and helped me a lot for my first tattoo. I will definitely come back for my next and trust Ash designing my next tattoo.

TL;DR Ash is an amazing tattoo artist.I went in with a rough design for an ambigram, which was all symmetrical black line work. Ash used her artistic talents to improve the design and applied it to my forearm flawlessly. She was very professional and thorough in her preparation, work, and aftercare instructions, and her rate was reasonable. The tattoo healed beautifully and I adore it.The studio space that Ash has cultivated is inviting and facilitates a relaxed atmosphere. In addition to her incredible tattoo technique, conversation with Ash makes the experience personal. She is a thoughtful person and insightful conversationalist, and it fostered a positive tattooing environment. I look forward to my next piece and hope that Ash has time to do it!

My trip to the studio was based on recommendation and birthday gift from my sister and she sent me to the right place. The tattoo artist Ashley is extremely knowledgeable and extremely friendly and accommodating. Studio is one of the cleanest and well kept I have been to and her knowledge and break down of the process, ink, needles is the absolute most professional I’ve ever encountered and I’ve been getting tattooed for 10+ years and in multiple states. I will definitely be back for another round of tattooing as soon as I can. I’ve been tattooed in other studios around the triangle and I have to say this is the hidden gem amongst all the studios in the area.

Ash is not only an amazing artist and tattooer but she is also the most professional tattoo artist I have worked with. She is very accommodating, and makes sure the entire tattoo experience is customized to the individual, not just in terms of what theyre requesting, but their skin type and tone and their preferences for environment and pain management. I got exactly what I wanted from my Fatal Frame tattoo design, and could not be more excited about it! Ash is the best tattoo artist I have been to. She maintains her studio like a lab. She showed me the expiration date to all her needles, explained what they were going to be used for for each part of my tattoo, let me play my terrible choice in music, and gave my skin lidocaine when the pain was too much. She also gave great after care instructions and tells you to reach out if anything occurs.Her artwork is phenomenal and the tattoo I got from her is my favorite. Will be going back to her again and spreading the words to all of my friends.
