Big Easy Tattoos

Ty is an exceptional artist and works diligently to create exactly what his client desires. He has done 3 large and elaborate pieces for me and I love them! His watercolor technique is incredible! Cant wait to get my next pieces and would never go to anyone else!

It’s been over year since I’ve had my tattoo done here. It’s been very traumatic cause I almost died! I went in with a gift card I was by myself and thought Ty was very nice! However I didn’t see him wash his hands he went to the gas station got a snack while my stencil dried. Ate his snack and immediately put gloves on never washed his hands. The tattoo experience wasn’t bad the next day I saw some redness to the tattoo, which is common, but like the ink was leaking out of the tattoo it was red. It was puffy, but I just cleaned it and chocked it up too. I haven’t had a tattoo in a while the next day I woke up with a high fever and was violently ill For hours went to the ER. Was in a busy waiting room, but as soon as I was in triage, got a room that’s when I knew that I was in serious trouble. My diagnosis was Cellulitis And a staph infection. I was in the hospital for five days in my hospital bill was $23,000. Thank God I had insurance so I only had to pay 5000 which I’m still paying on. A year later, my tattoo breaks out and rashes all the time Red little bumps and they itch. Please don’t make the same mistake and please do better weeks after the hospital I was weak physically and mentally! Cause of the time I had to take off work to heal I lost my job. I almost died a no rude response can take away my truth this should have never happened!

Spent half the year at this parlor having Tad do my leg sleeve. It’s always fun up there and him and Ty always make me want to come back ASAP, they both do great work, especially for the price. I’d checked out and been to a few other shops around the area but didn’t really vibe with any of them until I went up to Big Easy. Cool people, fun environment, great work, great prices. Stoked to get back under the needle with Tad in a couple weeks.

I came with my friend to her appointment. She had a very large scale piece that once finished looked okay. Until a day later she had an abscess her elbow (was tattooed) by day three she was in ICU from staph from this shop. She fought for 7 days and THANK GOD lived. Extremely unprofessional which is why all of his staff left him. I would never-unless you want to pay to fight for your life too.We have all our pictures for proof, but I can not upload all as they are goryLet me edit that this was TY HIMSELF. His beautiful staff left him and opened a amazing new shop, getting finally what they deserve

Tyler helped me and my sister with our STL blues tattoos. I had an idea of what I want but I am very indecisive in the details of it. I love my tattoo and he was awesome. Cool dude and made the experience very comfortable. Would go back again

Went today to get a flash tattoo for Suicide Awareness month. Everyone at this shop is very kind and extremely helpful, not to mention a good sense of humor. Aaron did my tattoo, and the placement was a bit personal. He did everything he would to make sure to maintain professionalism and to make sure that I was completely comfortable. He kept me laughing and was so courteous. I definitely recommend this shop and Aaron!

I was meeting a friend for matching/connecting tattoos but was late by 10 minutes. She went ahead, it was a small tattoo so it didnt bother me. When I arrived, no one took my name, fill out paperwork, or checked my ID. Ty was supposed to do my tattoo but instructed Tad to do it. By the time Tad started, Ty was finishing up on my friend. She even got another one while she waited for me. My friends tattoo doesnt match up with mine and theyre matching/connecting ones! No soap in the bathroom and I wasnt cleansed before stencil placement and needlework. My friend also paid both of our deposits but Ty didnt honor it and had me pay full price to Tad. Im verrry unhappy with this entire experience. Mostly Im unhappy because I didnt listen to my gut beforehand. I was jipped and undermined and the tattoo isnt even that great. Sorry, but not sorry.

Today and yesterday I had appointments with Pennelope to work on a half sleeve. From start to finish, setting up my appointment to starting and finishing the tattoo, the experience was pleasant and easy! I Highy enjoyed working with her, shes also great company and one badass artist! Im so glad I did this with her, my new ink has made me so happy and she made my dreams come true! Before I left I already set up my next appointment with her! Had a great experience, and absolutely recommend her! Cant wait for the next one!!

Ty was really cool, and did a great job on my tattoo. But the atmosphere was really off. One guy there came off a little hostile to us when we said we were okay with waiting. I understand that everyone is busy, and I said I was okay with waiting. I was a walk-in, and I understand that it comes with a wait. I don’t think I’ll go back, but the work I got from the shop was good.

Great place to get a tattoo! Kayla by far is an amazing artist. She is currently in art school and it has been doing work for me and my daughter. She does an amazing job and has a really good eye for detail. Very affordable prices. Good location right off the highway.

Amazing place with great people. I got light headed after my piercings and they immediately led me to a place to sit down and offered me water and candy while I recovered. (Im a big baby with low pain tolerance). Really appreciated how they looked after me. Plus $70 for two intimate piercings plus jewelry is a great price imo.

Ty was my artist. Its been 3 years since I got tattooed from him and the ink is already extremely faded.( I take care of my tattoos religiously) Ty is what you would call a copy and paste artist. Bring him a picture and hes decent at copying it. Have him create his own Art and he falls flat on his face 9 times out of 10. Not to mention how unprofessional he is. All he did while I was getting tattooed is talk trash on other artists and gossip like a girl.

Ive gone to Big Easy for around a year and a half, maybe 2, and gotten 14 tattoos from 3 of their awesome artists.Im the proud owner of one of Tys award winning tattoos. Ive gotten multiple dermals from their beyond-friendly piercer. Everyone I have dealt with there has been awesome and super friendly.They are clean and the artists take their jobs seriously. I get compliments from strangers LITERALLY every day on at least one of my tattoos that has come from this shop. You definitely get what you pay for here- Awesome, quality artwork!I refuse to go anywhere else!

Best in the business. Gotten a lot of work done by Ty and he goes above and beyond every time. The entire staff is awesome; friendly, pain free scheduling, great pricing and not to mention the exceptional artwork. If your looking to get anything done go to Big Easy; they do it all!

Sent the shops facebook page a message and was almost immediately replied to! I was wanting to get an appointment that was pretty short notice and Ty was more than happy to fit me in. He listened to my opinions and took multiple ideas I had then created it into my own little piece. Super friendly and easy to talk to. Has great taste in movies. Glad to know someone has relatable feelings about The Last Jedi. Love his work! Highly recommend.

What a joke. Just went to this store for the friday the 13th tattoos, and sat outside for 4 hours just to move 10 feet. They allowed unlimited tattoos for $20/ea without any thought of the over 150 people outside sitting in the heat waiting to get inside. There were no tents outside and no one passing out water. They all got there at noon to set up when that was when their shop opened. Absolutely no care in the world for their customers. They are so lucky no one passed out from heat stroke or they would have a totally different situation on their hands. I have never been to a tattoo shop with less planning in my life. People were getting sheets of tattoos because there was no limit. Shame on this business, clearly they only care about money.

I got my first tattoo done there by Travis just a few hours ago. He was cool as a fan and the other guys seemed to be pretty cool too. The shop is clean and their work is done nicely. Very talented artists. I would definitely recommend this place.

Ty does great work very cool guy! Paige is very sweet, pierced my daith and did it so fast and easy.She told me i was done and I was shocked so fast?!? Very laid back chill envoirment. Busy shop too! Love seeing all their tattoo awards proudly shown off on the wall. Been there two times this week back next monday getting more done by paige this time.

I went in with my friend for a tattoo and Penelope was just hands down amazing, so cool, she was funny and talked with us, super light handed and precise and it was the most positive welcoming atmosphere I’ve had at a tattoo shop and I will 100% be going back for all my future pieces. I was getting a tat there a couple weeks ago. Ty was there along with his son. He was tattooing someone while talking horribly about his ex or soon to be ex wife very and even he told his son to stop acting like his mother! I mean he was completely bashing her and calling her names all while his son could hear him. It’s not only very unprofessional to bring your personal life into your place of business but shows horrible character to speak like that about the other parent in front of and to your child. I find his demeanor very arrogant and unpleasant. He doesn’t welcome people when they come into the shop or smile or anything. He just doesn’t make you feel welcome. When I was there recently it was just a very negative vibe in the shop and it was clear it was bc of him. I do love the artists that work for him. They are all super nice!

This was my 1st and last time here. I came in with my 2 girls to get a flash $30.00 tattoo. The girls wanted a lunar moth. The girl in front asked for it too. They said ok. Then she changed her mind. Now this design was on their Facebook website that afternoon. When the girls got up there, after waiting over 2 hours,3 guys conferred with each other and said it couldnt be done. 2 of them were rude as hell. I walked out and 1 of the girls stayed to get a small cover bee tat. No reason to be like that when you put it on Facebook and forgot to remove that particular design.

Emily did an amazing job on my tat!!! Shes an amazing artist. Very friendly. Funny. Matt wasnt even doing my tat and kept me and my boyfriend entertained. I live in ohio but will be coming here for any future tats.

5 months straight had Matt Kammerer work on my sleeve. He is a high caliber tattoo artist that I strongly recommend going to see him with your ideas he will exceed your expectations. I talked to Ty about a tattoo that I wanted he decided one up. He also did the same tattoo on my sister and the look similar like what we wanted. He did a great job.

Big easy tattoos is the only place i go to for my tattoos. I love Matts art and big bold lines. They Have great prices with excellent quality work. ive been to several different shops, and there is no way i will ever go back.Its easy to say that that theyre the best. Go BIG EASY!!!

This place has definitely changed for the worse in recent years. Went in and politely asked with my friend to get our industrials pierced after being asked why we were there (i mentioned we weren’t in a hurry, we didn’t mind waiting.) The tattoo artist simply laughed and continued working. 5 minutes of awkward silence and us standing there like idiots, and him interrupting my bffs conversation with me about their old piercer, the tattoo artist goes “Our piercer doesn’t start till next week.” Ok, that’s fine, but why treat us like idiots and literally just make us stand there whenever all you had to say at the beginning was “Sorry, ladies, our piercer doesn’t start until next week.”? I used to love this place, and wouldn’t go anywhere else. But, I will be taking my buisness to a place that is actually nice to all of their customers. Definitely missing the old Big Easy Tattoos!

Great artists, great prices, always a fun experience

Well let’s see.... walked in with very simple ideas with my fiancé. This artist, who I’m assuming went by “Do-Boy” didn’t take our ID’s nor asked us to fill out paperwork. I could’ve been 17 years old getting tattooed because he didn’t care to be professional and have me fill out paperwork. My fiancé’s tattoo doesn’t look the best. The artist talked down on another tattoo of mine, which in fact is done very nicely. Oh and before we left he told us about this girl that would come to the shop and take her shirt off and he would molest her. His exact words “yeah she’d come over and I’d molest her.” We will never be back, I will never recommend this shop to anyone, if someone asks I will tell them my exact experience.

The best tattoo shop i have ever been to. It is very clean and all the employees are very nice. Ty is the best artist i have ever been to and i will never go anywhere else.if your looking to get a tattoo and dont know where to go check them out, i promise u wont be sorry definitely a 5 star place

Went in to get my bellybutton pierced with my sister. There was a little bit of a wait but both piercings were done within 5 minutes. They were also very nice.

Clean and friendly facility. Every artist is talented in their own way and there a very unique styles to experience as well. I have 12 and running done in this facility. Some of which have won awards at major shows. You cant go wrong here.

I just got my belly button pierced here 2 days ago the guy who did it was very kind and made it an overall wonderful experience. He was very helpful and talked me through the aftercare process . Very happy with it 😊

Got the date of my wedding day on my finger. Guys were up front and honest about tats on fingers. But it turned out awesome. Looks great and is exactly what I wanted. Wife likes it too which is most important.
