I made an appointment to have approximately $1600 worth of work done. I paid the deposit came in from my appointment and was presented with an apology saying that I’m gonna have to wait because other session has ran a little longer than expected to which I understand after two hours half past and no phone call From them, I went back and they told me that I would have to reschedule my appointment which I scheduled originally three weeks in advance. Once I rescheduled I showed up and they got me right back to my chair did the stencil pattern to which I did not like how it came out so i let them know so that it could be fixed. The tattoo artist was great immediately jumped on it, but the other tattoo artist around we’re snickering underneath their breath towards me when I asked them why they were doing that to a customer that just wants their tattoo to be as close to perfect as possible, and they replied free speech we can speak our minds. It’s not our fault if you got offended by it so I promptly went to the front desk and asked for my refund for my deposit to which I was declined the deposit so now that I’m out a few hundred dollars and no tattoo I would strongly encourage anyone that looks in this direction for a tattoo find somewhere else they don’t have the heart that artists need

The tattoo artists at this studio are friendly and professional. I walked in to add some custom lilies to an existing tattoo and requested an outline in black of my current tattoo. Jacob did an excellent job and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. This business is CLEAN. I was impressed with the consistent hand-washing, gloves, and sterile equipment. Well-staffed studio and ensures you’re satisfied with the results before you leave. Will be back!

The piercer botched my septum piercing; he jammed the needle through hard cartilage in my nose instead of the correct sweet spot. I usually have a high pain tolerance and have multiple body piercings, but the pain was so bad that it caused me to vomit.I went to two different and more reputable piercers, and they both agreed it was pierced in the wrong spot. I didnt feel comfortable coming back into this shop, because they made me feel bad about my reaction to the piercing. Still, I wanted to communicate my concerns about the piercing, so I called and spoke to the owner. He was incredibly hostile and blamed me for not wanting to come in person. Would NOT recommend this place to anyone.

We went for ear piercings and couldn’t have been happier. It did not hurt my 11 y.o. daughter and she was thrilled with her new bling. The artist walked her through each step, preparing her. A very thoughtful touch! I’d highly recommend them for piercings (& tattoos).

Erin at Division Street Tattoo Company did an AMAZING job capturing EXACTLY what I wanted in this tattoo! Her attention to detail was impeccable and she was so friendly and awesome to hang out with. She made me super comfortable and kept me informed throughout the entire process. I cannot say enough good things about my first experience here! I got this tattoo from ina and I would love to book with here again soon! This place made me feel very comfortable and everyone working was extremely sweet. Went in to get a conch, and Trevor was so kind and gentle! There was no pain when he was inserting the earring! With all of my others the piercers always made it hurt worse to place the earring than it was to get pierced. He was very careful to get it to match my other conch and did an excellent job! It was quick and easy and Im so pleased with the placement!!

Got my first tattoo done with Charlie. Was very impressed with his skill as the tattoo was very technical. Loved my time there and Blake was great with the conversations!Would highly recommend Division street and Charlie. When I get my next tattoo I will definitely request him!

This place is super cool and seems well organized. Unfortunately, I got a piercing here and didn’t have the best experience with the guy. I came in recently to look at earrings because I do enjoy the wide variety, however, when I walked in the only guy there was a piercer and he seemed super stressed out by the four people waiting to get pierced. I was told it was going to be “hours” until I could get sizing or get checked out. As someone who does cosmetic tattoos, I feel he could’ve been more excited that there are people coming in. I immediately left feeling turned away and unfortunately don’t plan on coming back due to both times being a bad experience.

Todd did an outstanding job today for my new tattoo! Was quite the session because of how big and colorful it is, but definitely worth it. Todd was very patient and understanding when I was starting to ask for breathing time. Great prices, great consultation, great artist. Came out amazing and will definitely come here in the future.

Trevor was great! I wanted a specific piercing & he took the time to explain that because of my anatomy, it wouldn’t be the best idea…. So he worked with me to shift my ideas & ended up with a piece I love! He was super thorough & made sure the placement looked great & would heal well. Went over care & healing, & just overall was a super smooth process. Great pricing, never felt pressured for a thing.

Nice shop with talented tattoo and piercing artists. The Mandala is a cover up and the moon and dots were to merge my Fatima and dragonfly tattoos.

DSTC is the holy grail of tattoo & piercing shops! I have gotten my nose and belly button pierced here by Trevor, who is very knowledgeable. He makes the process as gentle and easy as possible! I have gotten tattooed by Michael and Abbey, who are both WONDERFUL! They are both very talented! The staff here is always friendly, professional, and acts in the customers best interest.

Extremely clean and professional! The guy at the front did question me a few times as to whether I wanted the rook piercing, but I’m glad he made sure I knew what I would be dealing with in terms of maintenance. I love the artwork and atmosphere of the place. Will be going back!

I have been going to Divison Street Tattoo for almost 4 years now and this place ROCKS!! It is always super clean, professional, and a fun environment to walk into! I have been tattooed by Michael, the owner, but every time I walk in all of the other artists have made it a point to look up from their work and say hello. Very warm and welcoming! In the 4 years I have been going here, I have gotten at least 20 tattoos and I absolutely LOVE each and every one of them! Could not stress enough how AMAZING this shop is!! I went into Division Street Tattoo Company as a walk in. Was greeted at the door and immediately helped. First thing I noticed was the cleanliness of the shop. This is close to my 30th tattoo and I never have had a experience like I did with this shop. Hope was my tattoo artist and was extremely kind and pleasant. Not to mention very fun and easy to talk to. Made the whole experience pleasant and accommodated to all my suggestions and wants for the tattoos. Came out better than I could have ever expected. With all the other artists around (Steve, Ina, and Mario) as friendly as they were made it even more enjoyable. I 100% will be coming back and referring anyone who asks me about my ink to Division Street Tattoo.

First time ever getting a tattoo, Michael Lanning and the staff there are great!! Very clean, extremely professional and most of all they listened to what I was wanting to do. Michael took a picture from my phone and turned it into a work of art on my arm. Never seemed rushed and felt like I was the most important customer. Mike is an amazing artist who never disappoints. He was able to get me in for a larger tattoo appointment within one day of me calling about it. He works with my schedule every time I go and with the most recent tattoo stayed after hours and took his time to make it amazing. Hes patient with my ideas and we usually end up throwing designs back and forth until its perfect He always makes me feel comfortable and the shop is always spotless. Hes been my go to artist since before he opened his own shop, and is now who I refer friends to. Top notch customer service, prices, artwork, and shop.

Michael did my first and only tattoo (so far) and he and all the staff were amazing. I come in with little to no idea how I wanted to get it done and he was very helpful. I was with him every step of the way through the creative process. He was very patient and honest with me about my tattoo design. I couldnt be happier with the work he did.

I had my septum piercing done here on the day before New Years Eve. The shop is so cool! Its well lit, theres a lot of flash on the walls to look at while you wait. The paperwork is on a tablet, which is cool - we love a paperless moment. Trevor was my piercer, and he really took his time to make sure he did the piercing correctly. This was my least painful piercing, and I think thats mostly because he was good at it. lol. I will absolutely be back. :)

This is my go-to place for tattoos and piercings! Inas line work is supreme. They practice proper sanitary procedures before every client that walks through the door & they are a good shop that holds great morals and integrity.Ive been to other piercing shops that are questionable in cleanliness & seem to lack the knowledge and experience with piercing. Michael is a reputable APP piercer which is key for getting a piercing thats long-lasting and getting it in the proper place. They offer the best quality industrial strength jewelry in the area! Ive had issues with other shop jewelry in the past that appears to be the cheaper option, but cause problems with your piercings long-term such as infections, keloids, etc. If you want something to last indefinitely, its always best to invest in something thats worth it!As far as piercing, it was a super fast and easy process. Michael explains every step along the way and it eased my nerves having it done that way. Division is my favorite shop and its filled with so many awesome and talented artists!

Got my daith piercing here a year or two back and had a good experience. Came back today for my septum and it seems to have only gotten better! Seems to be a little pricier than some, but the professionalism and quality is there, good people with a focus on doing the job properly and making you happy. You can get in and out pretty quick, but theyre also ready to share any info, advice, and ideas. 👍👍

First, all the artists are very professional, do GREAT work and the work stations are very clean and sanitary. I live in AL and have had several compliments on my tattoos..... thats why I wont go anywhere else but to Division Street Tattoo and ask for Michael! Great work!

The owner is very responsive to messages, and both him and the piercer were very knowledgeable and efficient.I had my lobes done a few years ago, but my body did not take well to whatever jewelry the other shop had used. I had been messaging around & this shop is one that had full info and websites sent to me to inform me of their jewelry selections. (Their a APP piercing spot). (Spoiler, they have top grade jewelry! Which is 5 ⭐️‘S all on its own).I had to wait behind 2 other walk ins(easy peasy), and then the piercer (Trevor?) got me in back. Very well lit, very open space, super clean shop. And honestly, the piercing area isn’t grungy and scary- which would be good for kids. I’ve been into a couple shops where to walk to the back piercing station, the kids saw some creepy photos lol. Not a problem as an adult, but as a kid I’m sure it could leave an impression. This place had the piercing station/area right up front. Oh and their bathroom was super clean too!

My daughter and I had an awesome experience last week. Michael did a nostril piercing for me and ear piercings for my 12 year-old daughter. It was her birthday and she badly wanted to have the piercing done, but really struggled with significant anxiety about it. Michael was incredible with her, spending a good bit of time talking her through what to expect, helping with deep breathing exercises and even played music by her favorite artist, all to help her calm down and relax. I was close to giving up, but thanks to his patience and thoughtfulness, she finally had it done. Afterwards she said Thats all? It didnt even hurt! She was so happy and couldnt stop smiling the rest of the night. Also, being a nurse, I was quite impressed by the cleanliness of this studio, the quality of the materials used, and the very hygienic way in which Michael performed the piercings. I highly recommend Michael and DSTC!

Great environment, great artist. Ive gone multiple times for piercings and tattoos, i love all the work they have! Nicest artist and owner! I live an hour away but will always drive to this location because im always happy with the results. Definitely worth the visit.

So the only thing that is good about this shop is that its hidden from the general public. Autumn is the artist that did some script across my hands and completely jacked it up. When I sent her multiple messages about getting a touch up she just read the messages and never responded. This place just has a bunch of glorified apprentices who dont stand behind their work. It makes me depressed every time I look at my hands. Dont make the same mistake and do not go here!

About 6 months ago my daughter and I got our first tattoos from Michael. He was very friendly and the place was spotless. We followed his instructions and they healed quickly. We will be headed back this week!

Blake tattooed me on Friday the 13th and was super kind and made sure I felt comfortable! As a woman it was nice to have someone so respectful because he made the space feel very safe and a lot of places and people in general don’t. Overall a good experience!!

Very happy with our experience here. My wife got her first tattoo here and three weeks later I came in to get one myself. We will continue to get our tattoos from this studio and tattooist Michael.

Waited an hour and a half for just a piercing while the only piercer stood outside talking to the person the person they just pierced 20 minutes ago. The staff was annoying and rude. Worst shop Ive been to. We called ahead and arrived on time and they took other peoples business after we already talked to them. The artists abilities are very limited as well. We ended up not even getting the simple Monroe piercing for my wife after such a long wait and Im a very patient person. Never coming back again.

Yeah I won’t be back. I’ve been looking for good quality jewelry and they carry one of my fave brands. I’ve been in twice and each time the guy in charge of the jewelry has made me feel unwelcomed. When I asked questions I felt stupid and rushed. The first time I brushed it off to maybe he was having a bad day, and I was able to purchase three pieces. The second time I just ended up leaving.

If I could leave 10 stars I would. I’ve gotten 2 piercings here, neither had almost ANY pain after. Michael is a freakin natural, the environment was cleaner than any tattoo shop I’ve ever seen, and I will never go to another shop again! If you’re considering division street tattoo or any other place, pick division street!

I got a charube angel done above my granmamas name and I love it. Its my first picture tattoo so I was a little nervous on how it would come out, but obviously it looks wonderful. The shop is very small and tucked away on an industrial so keep your eyes peeled because its in a small shopping center at the very end on the right side. Highly recommended

Went in today to have my daughters ears peirced. I had called ahead and was told they didnt do piercings by appointment, walk in only. When we arrived the man who did the piercings was quite rude and made me feel like he didnt really want to do it. He explained it would be a long wait because he had two nose piercings before us. We were willing to wait and were looking at jewelry while we waited. I opened the cabinet to point at a peice close to the back to show my daughter and he then told me loudly from across the room to not open the doors. Needless to say I didnt feel comfortable letting someone peirce my daughters ears who didnt seem to want to do it in the first place. Going somewhere else...and they actually schedule appointments.

Jeff was the artist who did my work. Couldnt be more satisfied. Guy is a freaking legend. Best tattoo artist Ive ever let work on me. I mean this guy really goes the extra mile when it comes to details. Will definitely be back to see him.

Trevor was nice and the shop is nice but the pricing of the piercing is high. I paid 160 for 2 ear(rook and helix( piercings but went to Lone Wolf and paid 75 for tragus and daith. Huge difference.

Blake did not really care about matching fonts closely to a previous tattoo. In his words “they are just little letters.” I chose to go somewhere else as he obviously doesn’t value customer satisfaction with this permanent life long mark on your body. He did not make me feel comfortable that he would try hard on the tattoo.Edited to add in response to the reply: the scenario you explained below is what I TRIED to ask for. I don’t mind covid policy. I am a registered nurse and totally understand policies to help prevent the spread of covid. I was not upset at that. I asked if you could show me the stencil outside since I couldn’t be inside with my husband and that’s when you replied “honestly they are just tiny letters”. That sentence right there is what made me suggest to go somewhere else. Soon as I mentioned going somewhere else, you ripped up a paper and threw it in the trash. So unprofessional, Blake. Even more unprofessional that you tried to lie about what happened. I’m glad you are letting the public see proof of that in your response.

I’ve always had a great experience at Division Street Tattoo. I always called ahead for an appointment, so there was no waiting. Michael did an amazing job and I always get compliments on my sleeve. I’ll be back for more!

***Required upsell for piercing*** found this place seeking a second hole ear piercing. I brought my own pair of diamond earrings in hopes to use them, but since they couldn’t validate that the post material was good quality (I guess they needed paperwork?), they wouldn’t let me. No problem - I could get whatever their cheapest was for the time until healed when I could put mine in. They only had high quality jewelry - which would be fine if I didn’t already have my own. The problem arises when they refuse to pierce without my purchasing their studs. A required upsell?I understand the need for cleanliness and safety for their equipment - fair. But not offering any option and refusing the service seems overboard.For future clients, be prepared to include the cost of high-cost studs or no service. A bit scammy.

I just went in for a piercing change and possibly a new piercing. The piercing guy was not very friendly. I got a lot of shrugs and dunnos. Pretty disappointed in the service. I hope the tattooers are better!

I walked in on a saturday. and one person was there. i was told that he shouldn’t do my tattoo bc it was big enough?? & that it wasn’t clean bc it was a signature.. and said that putting it on there would be bad. he was very rude too & had the right to say sorry for being rude after he was rude as hell to me.

I did not get a tattoo here and would not get a tattoo here. Only because the guy I walked in and talked to about what I wanted, said that what I wanted in my tattoo was racist and redneck. I wouldn’t be so upset about this but my reasoning behind the tattoo means a lot to me and I don’t need my tattoo artist putting me down about it. So, no thank you!
