J & G Tattoo & Body Piercing

If you go here. The guy is a great piercer... however his apprentice daughter is NOT. 10 out of 10 do NOT recommend this girl. Not sure how she is an apprentice when hes not there during the piercing with her. She messed up 2 piercings on my daughter and my friends daughter has had nothing but problems after getting pierced by her.

I went in fully ready to get my tongue pierced...That didnt happen, and Im not mad...Ive had it done before, but theres that vein thats way too close...Here, the lady, sorry, horribly bad with names, was confident enough to say she didnt feel comfortable doing that piercing for me...I did get a piercing done, but I dont know how to spell it 😅 picture attached. It didnt hurt, it still doesnt hurt, and basically already healed barely been a week!I have mad respect for being honest!! And will most definitely return for more body art!!!An artist who can admit they cant do something or dont feel comfortable due to circumstances is an artist I can trust!!You wont be done wrong here, so stop by and enjoy it!!!

Love Greg and Oneal does great on my tats every time!! My husband lost his tat virginity today and I couldnt be happier with the outcome. Looks awesome!! Mine is equally as great! Definitely driving the 2 hours every time we want work done. (One picture is new work on top last tat on bottom same artist.)

Sorry but I had to make a review. I have had good experiences with this place in the past but recently took my daughter and a new woman pierced her, I had not seen her there before. It was awful. Very painful (could not get the ring in after) and completely crooked we had to immediately take it out and my daughter was devastated. The woman was aware of how bad it looked, she talked about it being crooked immediately after and didn’t really seem to care at all. I kind of got a sense something was off because everyone before us was taking a really long time. Be safe, don’t go.

I stopped by as a walk-in and had a great experience. The atmosphere was comfortable and friendly, staff was kind and I LOVE my new tattoos. I got 2 different ones, they turned out wonderful as well as being a fair price. Ill definitely be back.

The work is always fabulous, but Greg can be a little ornery at times ha ha but definitely would recommend going for a piercing to is it wasn’t bad, but it was a bit plain for sure

Health and Wellness warning. The lady who did my piercing did it illegally, she wasnt licensed, and her father who was supposed to supervise her wasnt even in the building. She did the piercing at a wrong angle, with the wrong size piercing, and after a few weeks I had to have the piercing removed because of infection and tramatization to the nostril. The lady also gave me a home made mixture of Tee Tree and Witch hazel which only caused more irritation, swelling, and infection. Now I have to wait 8 to 12 weeks before getting it repierced. Recommend Spurlocks Emporium.

The guy there was just amazing! super funny and chill, i got my septum done and he helped made my anxiety go away love this place so much!! the people are so kind there and super cool, when i passed out that man was helping my mom out with the steps of what happens, and he made us laugh and laugh he was super kind!

I came in to get a tattoo. I explained what I wanted and where and the artist basically took a look at me and was like I dont see any other tattoos are you sure you want it there. Im not sure if he just didnt want to do the tat, but he just seemed to be reluctant to do the tat. Dude I have 3 other tattoos, two I got while I was in the military. I wanted this to celebrate my 40th birthday and living with turners syndrome. I knew what I was doing. Im an adult and can chose what I want. Whats sad is my sis and I have an idea for another tat and Im scoping out artists. I did schedule an appointment, but canceled because why go to an artist that just judged a book by the cover who didnt seem to want to do it. I knew it was probably yet another butterfly maybe hes tired of doing, but thats the symbol for turners syndrome. It was just going to be a small tat on my hand that was maybe the size of a quarter. The artist said its a career killer why there on the hand. Oh well. Ill shop around. You guys did two of my piercings as well. Sorry it didnt work out.

They wont even answer a phone call. Im supposed to trust them with something permanent when they cant even answer the phone? Nope. Not my body. Lazy is as lazy does. Period. 4.7 rating? How about 1 rating? Cant talk to no one? Nah Im good. I wouldnt trust ANY artist here. Period. They are lazy.

Love this place!! Ive gotten eight tattoos here and probably will get many more! The staff is so welcoming and friendly! And the tattoo artist is Great!

My 1st tat was the Feather by Aaron, and I love it!! Greg pierced my nose, which makes my 3rd piercing!! My 2nd tat was by ONeal, which I got with my sister and cousin!! I loved the experience for my 1st tat and 1st professional piercing they happen on the same night!! Greg and Aaron were both very professional and respectful!! ONeal was awesome also. He was very professional and patient for having 3 girls in his room at the time.

Friendly staff. I cannot give a better review as I have not had any work done here yet. Pricing Seems reasonable. They run great deals at times. Very nice atmosphere.

The tech that pierced my daughters belly was very nice and informative. Highly recommend.

The lady yall keep saying was rude, was busy as S***. I didnt think she was rude at all. She was getting through all our paperwork in a timely, and friendly manor. During this time she also made sure her artist had lunch and helped (Im guessing) her mom carry in waters and supplies. Made my heart smile. Aaron layed down my daughters first tattoo without a hiccup. Was professional and cool. Made the whole experience awesome. We will definitely be back. You gals and guys rock 🤘

Got my septum done! Good shop been going for years. Best place around. Cleanest shop around. Best work for best price. Greg is a great piercer and makes you comfortable. Look rough around the edges but just an all around great guy. O’Neal does great tats I’ve gotten a few from him! You will not be disappointed and if something happens they will fix it and make sure you leave happy.

Went all over town and even other bigger towns to recommended tattoo shops people said were the best. not one damn person was comfortable doing my cover up nor did they make me feel comfortable allowing them. ONeal at j&g did it no problem and even out done my expectations. very very nice job and I recieve countless compliments on it.

My daughter and I got our noses pierced together. She passed out about 5 mins after, right before he did mine. The piercer caught her and didnt let her hit her head, he was watching her as she walked to get a drink and noticed her looking pale before I did, even. He totally treated her like she was one of his kids... put a cool paper towel on her neck three different times to cool her down, went and got her some candy to up her blood sugar... kept an eye on her until we left. Very kind man, and also mentioned hes the shop owner. We drove from Tulsa to get them done, and thought all the staff was very nice, and made us feel comfortable. Thanks guys!! 💗💗

Great place! Their piercing guy is amazing! He looks rough and mean but he’s a big ol teddy bear! He done my 15yr olds first “real” piercing (septum) and was so gentle, friendly, professional and cool about it. He Knew how to calm her down and make her feel comfortable. The rest of the staff were very friendly as well. Place was clean and professional and just overall a great experience.

The gentleman who does the piercings has demeanor that puts you at ease and is gives honest and knowledgeable advice about piercings and their placement

Very rude.I called ahead and asked if I needed an appointment. The lady said that I wouldnt if I came after 5:30. So my friend and I did. Both new to the area and looking for a place to get work done. Im looking for someone to do a very extensive back piece. Was going to get a couple small things and check out their work. Well when we got there they were booked the rest of the day. No big deal, they had some big jobs come in. Im ok with that. What Im not ok with is the lady at the counter being a complete rude B to my friend and I about it.We were both disappointed and will not go back after that experience.I hope she was just having a bad day and doesnt treat others the same way.

I got my nose pierced and was kinda nervous but I got in there and the person behind the counter was friendly and quick about getting us checked in. Once I got my to the guy who did my piercing he kind of talked my nerves down then did it so quickly I barely felt it and he was very friendly and chatted with us and told us about his work experience. I highly recommend this place. It was also very cheap and clean.

Got my first tattoo at this place; a recommendation to me from my girlfriend. Showed the artist what I wanted, and he made it happen, no suggestions, no changes, exactly where and how I wanted it. Im super happy with it and the staff was friendly and amazing. Charged a great price for my piece, as well. I plan on getting more work from these guys and highly recommend it.

The overall experience was a lot of fun. The staff are friendly and know how to make you feel welcomed. They are super Ocd when it comes to piercing and doing it right and making sure the paperwork is in proper order. Covid safe. They take time to close and deep clean. I was a bit nervous, but the funny guy with tatts and chapps made the experience super fun. Great conversations and atmosphere. 10/10 would go again.

Went in to get my 14 year old daughters cartilage pierced. They took great care of us at the desk and the guy who was doing the piercing was funny and kept my daughter calm. He did a great job and she was really happy.

This place did amazing. I went on a very busy night, had to drive from Tulsa to get there, and they still got me and my friend in for our tattoos and piercings! The were very friendly with us and didnt make us feel bad about coming in so late.

When it comes to the actual tattoo the place is great O’Neil is one of my favorite artists but the lady’s at the front counter could have been more rude and unprofessional. When walking in she asked what I wanted and I told her a tattoo to which she replied “ not today you aren’t” then completely ignored me. When she realized I was still there she said again what I wanted and I told her an apt for Friday and she said I would have to dive back tomorrow to make an apt. I recommend the artist but this place is not it if your looking for professionalism:

ONeil is amazing had him add on to a memorial one he did a couple years ago. It looks even more beautiful now! Plus Greg is a great piercer. He did my daughters ears and my tongue YEARS ago.

This place sucks would not recommend they refused to take a certificate of birth instead of a birth certificate and honestly just plain out sucked

ONeal has done my last 5 tattoos and theyve all turned out like I wanted. Hes also done 2 of my husbands tattoos.Prices are reasonable and the quality is great!Dont know that Id have a photo realism done here (havent seen any done here), but his lines are spot on. For that reason, Ive sent several friends to see him and will continue coming back to OK whenever I need new ink.On the piercing side, Greg is fabulous and hilarious. He really makes you feel like youre part of thr family. He pierced my oldest daughters ears and we didnt have a single issue with them. Was quick, easy, and no reactions to the metal that is used. Dont go to that place in the mall to get your kids ears done, go see Greg! My then 6 year old didnt even cry!!!

So first of all. The sign on the door clearly says no smoking within 25 ft or inside the facility. the owner was smoking right next to the door which whatever he works there. but then i walk in and it is the strongest smell of cigarette smoke. i brushed it off and the lady at the front counter was immediately rude, i thought she was just very blunt with what she said. me and my friend were getting matching tattoos btw. the guy prints it out and it doesn’t look dainty like our picture. it looked very simple and i told him that’s not the look we are going for. he said it wouldn’t look like that when we did the tat. he traced it to where it was straight and we wanted it slanted. when i asked him to slant it more he got very defensive and raised his voice. he said i traced it exactly how it was i just changed the wings a little. i then asked if we could put the trace on our backs before paying. bc we weren’t 100% sure. he got defensive again and so did the front desk lady when we told her. he said no we aren’t gonna do that i traced exactly how it was and just kept repeating himself. me and my friend felt really bad vibes then and realized if they really wanted $260 out of us then they would be willing to work with us. they obviously didn’t care abt our service and they had no professionalism to them. i don’t recommend this place for tattoos or any business.

Never gotten a tattoo here but have got a ton of piercings. Love Greg he cracks me up and makes you feel very comfortable. Highly recommend him for any piercings you may feel u need.

Went here and got my tongue pierced. It was a very fun and clean environment and the man was very nice and professional. They even called me 2 days after i had it done to check on me and the piercing! Definitely will be going back!

Gotten three piercings from here. And the piercer was really nice and very at helping people with anxiety get through the piercing would recommend him for anybody with any anxiety about getting a piercing.

Got a dermal anchor on my chest! The piercer was very professional and very fast! Luckily I did a lot of research and knew what to expect and even got the dermal anchor like I wanted-with the piercing needle and not the dermal punch. It was very quick and the overall pain level was 3 during the actual process! Right now it is a 1, barely even feeling it!

I’ve had my septum pierced from here, and two tattoos, including my first ever tattoo. They’ve been nothing but friendly every single time and care about their job! Going tomorrow to finish my half sleeve.

Went and got a memorial tattoo for my kittys that have passed away on my birthday August 13 2018. Staff was friendly had a really cute shop next door with body piercing jewelry. They even called me and checked up on the progress of my tattoo a few days after I got it! My husband and I plan to return to get another memorial tattoo in a few weeks for a friend to lost to suicide.qould recommend this place!

Had my septum pierced here and had to have it removed in the hospital! Once healed I went to spurlock to have it redone. Upon placing her fingers in my nose to feel if I could even get the piercing she knew someone had previously pierced it incorrectly. Without me telling her. At J&G they pierced the CARTILAGE IN MY NOSE!!! There are two pieces of cartilage in your nose. He forced through one and I heard a loud pop and crack I jumped back because I felt something was not right and he just shoved it through the other before I could say anything! I will have permanent scarred tissue in my nose from this. For any future piercings I decide to get I will be going to spurlock. Not only did I have a great experience with all their staff but she actually educated me on the piercing I was getting!

Greg is nothing less than over the top GOOD and NICE. With a whole lot of helpfulness and even after the sale they check in with you.

I was there on January 31 the tattoo artist said he had been doing tattoos for 20 years...that made me feel comfortable...when I thought that the artist was halfway done I looked at my tattoo it really amazed me that he was just about finished I was so amazed that the artist did such a great job and how quickly he got it done...Im definitely going back there for more tattoos...really impressed with the tattoo shop

I love this tattoo and piercing parlor. The artist there is very talented and skilled in many techniques. You can see pictures of his past works around the shop and can get an idea of what he is capable of by just looking. They even call later to check up on how the tattoo or piercing is healing! Very kind and mist importantly CLEAN! The only bad thing is that he can get booked out for a while.

Got a tattoo from Adam a few months ago I love this place they are all awesome friendly and they do badass work. Best place to go hands down.

Awful. Made a tattoo appointment two weeks in advance. Sent email with photos and description. Called 3 days prior for a confirmation and price quote. This was appointments for my mother in law and I for Mothers Day tattoos. Was confirmed of my apt and told I would get a call back. Never got a call. The owner didnt open until 12:07 when our appointments were suppose to be at noon. I walk inside and am told he has not had time to draw it up and itll take 2 days to draw. I reminded him I made this apt two weeks ago and confirmed 2 days prior, he said I am not the one who makes appointments he had the emails and photos printed out and available when we walked in but he didnt have time??? I sent the email April 21st and my appointment was may 13th.Very unprofessional. Rude. Unkept. And tardy.

This is the only shop that I will get my piercings at! Ive gotten my navel, tongue, and nose done here, and its been one great experience after another! Dont know much about the tattoo side, but I know I will continue to come back to do my piercings!

Does anyone know if you can get piercings here if you breastfeed because I have a 1 yr old that still breastfeeds and Im wanting a belly button piercing a nose piercing and an industrial bar but I remember it asking on the paper you sign if pregnant or breastfeeding so will they do it or not whats the risk if I get piercings while breastfeeding?

I went in to get a in memory of tattoo and the guy didnt even know how to spell forgotten. i had the dates that my dad was born and passed i was so excited to get a in memory of tatto that i guess i didnt look at the tattoo in great detail. when i get home i get to looking at it and the date should have been 2012 but instead it has 2016!!!!!! the next day i call and his wife the receptionist informs me that he traced it i looked at it and its my fault when i tried to explain to her that yes he did trace everything EXCEPT the date i was cut off anf once agin told it was pretty much my fault. me then being upset told her look i just want the damn thing fixed! i was then told my business was no longer needed. i am now stuck with a tattoo that has the wrong date on it!! how in the world is this profesional. all i wanted was the 6 turned into a 2 and i would have been more then greatful. i would not recommend going here if you want good service

These are good people that stand behind there work. They are not as artistic and creative as I would like but neither am I so know what you want when you go to them and dont depend solely on them as I did

Got my belly button and tragus piercing here, really good work and vibes! I also got a spine tattoo done for the first time here, very good simple lettering condition and work i had done.

I loved it got snake bites done and it was quick easy and as pain free as possible the piecing was evenlt pirced and I DEFINYLY will be going back for more in the near future
