Each and every artist in this shop is incredibly talented, and between them all you have your pick of style! Everyone is also very down to earth and Im always comfortable being there. I absolutely love the two tattoos Ive gotten from Kyle and Kenzie, and I will definitely be back for more.

I had such a great experience at Tooth and Nail! I got a memorial tattoo of my dog by Michelle and I absolutely love it! Michelle really took great care with the entire process of my tattoo from designing (then tweaking the design upon my request), size and placement, stencil placement, and of course the actual tattoo. She kept a very clean working area, offered me as many breaks as needed, and really made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire time tattooing. The other artists were very friendly as well, I really felt welcome in the shop. The snack corner is a very thoughtful feature Ive never experienced before in a tattoo shop and I appreciated it very much!Will definitely be back in the future, and I would absolutely recommend Tooth and Nail to anyone looking for a great tattoo experience.

Atmosphere and aesthetic is awesome. Staff complete professionals in the business from the owner to each individual artist and the apprentice. I felt absolutely comfortable and was provided utmost privacy for a piece exposing most of my breast for access. Free refreshments for thirst and potential for low sugar added to the comfort which made the physical discomfort of the pieces way better.Michelle Stecker as an artist is well worth her $200/hr as listed on the site. She nailed the concept of what I was seeking based on a very small reference image and consult appointment. She went above and beyond every possible expectation and made it one of my best tattoo experiences. I plan on being back again to say the least. 😸💜

The shop in general is such a peaceful and kind atmosphere. Everyone had a light hearted, happy mood and people lifted me up during the most painful parts of my tattoo. The inclusivity of the shop was fantastic from the snacks to the pads and tampons in the bathroom. Kyle, my artist, was 10/10. He took his time, was as precise as possible, created a beautiful tattoo that was highly detailed, and he was so sweet, kind and patient. I do squirm and some parts really hurt and he was kind and understanding of my low pain tolerance. Definitely going back for every future tattoo.

I’ve been getting tattooed by Courtney for 8 years now and she never disappoints. I followed her from her previous shop, then again when she expanded Tooth and Nail, and watching her talent and skill grow over the years has been wonderful. She goes above and beyond to create a welcoming environment while also creating stunning art. All of my tattoos by her have aged wonderfully, staying vibrant and detailed, and she’s always known exactly how to bring my ideas and vision to life. We’ll be finishing a sleeve this year that’s nearly a decade in the making and people always stop me to ask who the artist is because the work is truly brilliant. I’ve also been tattooed by Kyle Kuhn and plan to be tattooed by the rest of the resident artists in the future as well. I cannot recommend Courtney and her amazing shop enough. I’ve included photos of some of Courtney’s more recent work on me for reference.

Courtney tattooed me in the spring and it was the best experience! She is super funny and made me feel very comfortable. She actually shared her food with me and honestly had the best numbing cream I’ve ever had. Couldn’t recommend this shop more, all of the artists are super talented, immaculate vibes.

Kyle is an incredible artist to work with! He created a design better than I had envisioned and made sure I was comfortable throughout the process! I think his passion for his art speaks for itself and I couldnt be happier with the result! If youre looking for an exceptional tattoo, I highly recommend Kyle and Tooth and Nail!

I’ve seen both Courtney & Michelle for tattoos. Both of them (as well as the rest of the artists here) are incredibly kind, professional, easy to work with, and talented. Courtney makes it easy to feel comfortable while getting tattooed and has done a great job at creating a pleasant atmosphere and choosing skillful artists to have on her team. Highly recommend!

I personally hadn’t been to the shop before yesterday, but I have several friends who received beautiful pieces and raves about the atmosphere. I was excited to be able to get in fairly quickly with Mackenzie, who did an awesome Sopranos flash piece for me. Mackenzie is kind, cool, and extremely talented and provided a very comfortable experience. She is continuously pumping out all kinds of unique flash, from traditional to pop culture to seasonal stuff. I’d highly recommend booking with her before her schedule fills up. I will definitely be returning- thank you so much!

I love the gang at tooth and nail. I have been tattooed by most of the artists and couldn’t be happier every time I leave. The owner, Courtney, is fun and sassy which makes your appointment feel like you’re being tattooed by a friend/sister. Michelle is one of the sweetest people I have ever met and makes you feel super comfortable. Kyle is quirky (and handsome) and keeps the shop laughing. Shay had tattooed me as an apprentice. She is detailed and I found her super relatable. And Em (who is the new apprentice) is doing phenomenally with her work. All of their work is impeccable and I love being there (which is a plus when you are there for a full day session!). Go check them out, you won’t be disappointed.

Gotten 3 separate tattoos by 3 separate artists; Kyle, Michelle and Jay (who is no longer there) and have loved every single one. My wife has also gotten multiple pieces done by Court, Kyle and their former apprentice Siobhan that all came out wonderful as well. Variety of styles. Very welcoming and fun crew. I was beyond fortunate to be tattooed by Kyle Kuhn back in March. The booking process was easy and we had a couple of virtual consultations prior to, as I traveled from out of state for the appointment. Kyle was amazing to work with and created a design better than I had envisioned. He was patient with helping me decide on placement, took the time to chat with me throughout the appointment, and made sure I was comfortable from start to finish. And of course, the quality of Kyle’s work speaks for itself.On top of this, the shop itself is incredible and took the tattoo experience to the next level. Everyone there was friendly, and there were snacks, drinks, and tons of extras available for guests. I’ve never been as relaxed and enjoyed the process of getting tattooed so much.It’s been about a month since and my tattoo has healed perfectly. I can’t wait to go back and get a second piece from such an incredible artist and shop.

After researching artists for months, I decided to travel from Pennsylvania to get a memorial tattoo of my dog. Michelles style of her pet portraits was exactly what I was looking for. My tattoo appointment was very easy going and comfortable and I absolutely love the end result. Michelle listened to what I wanted and included everything I asked for in the tattoo design. She even explained what she was doing as she tattooed (which Ive never had another artist take time to do that before and I appreciated it). I would definitely make another trip to get tattooed at this shop again.

On a whim I decided to get a tattoo. I asked people for recommendations, I looked around online at their work. It was all good, but no ones work really called to me. I was fortunate to come upon Tooth and Nails website.As soon as I started to view photos of Kyle Kuhns body art, I knew hed be my first tattoo artist. I booked a consultation with him, discussed what I wanted and why. We decided on a half sleeve. He took a photo of my arm. We booked my tattoo date. On that day he showed me a drawing of what he was going to do. We made some minor adjustments. It took 4 hours, which I find remarkable as there is so much detail, with just the right amount of color. I am 2-1/2 weeks since getting it. There was zero scabbing. I left derm wrap on for 4 full days. Removed it in shower 5th day. I lube it 2-3 times a day. I am so incredibly happy with my tattoo. Kyle, Im already thinking of my next ones. 🙏❤️

Michelle has done two good size arm tattoos for me, as well as a small quote. Her attention to detail is amazing, and it’s crazy how quick she can draw something up. Easy to work with and personable too.Courtney (owner), Jay, and Kyle are also amazing artists. I wish I had the money and room to get things done with each of them as well. The shop is clean, all artists are masters at their craft, and you can just tell how much they care about their work and customers. I am definitely coming back again and recommend this shop all the time.

I went here twice to get tattooed by Court. Once was a small minimalist wave tattoo; the other was a larger, more intricate magnolia flower. It is hands-down my favorite tattoo I have ever got. It is absolutely gorgeous, and it was a great experience. (The shop has a really cool vibe, we watched “Dark Tourist” while she tattooed me, and Court is honestly just an all-around awesome human.)And all of the other artists working at Tooth & Nail are insanely talented too!

Court was AMAZING!! She not only brought my tattoo dream to life😍 but she was so professional and was very relaxed. She kept me informed the entire way through and, even though we did talk during it, there was not that weird pressure to carry on a conversation that sometimes people feel when getting tattooed. Courtney and her team at Tooth and Nail Tattoo are some of the most talented individuals I had the pleasure of meeting and getting tattooed by. Courtneys team responded to my tattoo request promptly and set up a consultation that best fit with my schedule. Courtney, who happens to be the owner, was very attentive to every detail within my overall concept. The biggest challenge was where I wanted the placement of this tattoo. I unfortunately have slightly bowed lower legs which, as you can imagine, made placing this tattoo even that much more difficult. However, that did not detour her, rather, Courtney was more determined to make sure the placement was not only anatomically correct but went with the natural curvature of my lower leg. She even consulted with a team member to make sure the placement looked appropriate, which I appreciated as well. During the actual session, the atmosphere was fun yet relaxing and honestly, it was overall a fun time! I felt like I was hanging out with friends rather than getting tatooed. I cannot wait to get my next tattoo done by Courtney and to visit the staff at the shop again!

Quality art, quality tattoos, and a safe comfortable place. Ive collected quite a bit of work from different places and with out a double tooth and nail takes the cake as one of the best. Variety of good artists with different styles but all still high quality. Couldnt recommend them enough, even if you have to wait to book - its definitely worth ti.

Worked with Kyle to create a lioness and flower tattoo. He nailed it. I’m only halfway done and I’m so excited for the rest. The owner is absolutely fantastic. The accommodation from this tattoo shop is unlike any other- seriously.

I absolutely fell in love with Tooth & Nail, and especially Celeste! I have a few tattoos, and getting tattooed by Celeste was by far my best experience I’ve ever had. She was very meticulous when it came to placement and especially ensuring that I was happy with every aspect of my tattoo. Although it was a small tattoo, it really meant a lot to me that her attention to detail was so obvious. I would travel hours to be tattooed by Celeste again, and I will be returning! Thank you!!!

I have been tattooed many many times by many different tattoo artists. Celest is by far the most professional, clean and courteous artist I have had. She has the best personality and made all my nervousness disappear. Celest made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole process, letting me readjust the way I was sitting so I would not cramp up. And her work is amazing! She has definitely found herself a client for life!

Horrible experience. I booked with Courtney in April of 2020. Covid caused me to reschedule my appointment and again Covid shut it done. Courtney refused to give the deposit back, stating I could book with somone else but would need to give another deposit. Not to mention I had an appointment for a consult that she didnt show for. Way to treat a healthcare worker.

I dont do reviews often, but Courtney is amazing. Ive got 4 tattoos (and more planned) and all done by her. They are top notch quality.

Just saw a tiktok from this shop stating that they do support BLM and have denied a tattoo that was not BLM friendly and I just want more tattoo shops to do this and support the people who are oppressed. I don’t live in state and never been here but I would strongly suggest to anyone to definitely go here and get work done and support this shop and what it stands for
