In my first tattoo experience was great the staff is all really nice and kind of comedians but they did amazing detail I will definitely go again.

I’ve gotten all my tattoos and piercings done here and I absolutely love it. Joe is absolutely incredible and when he does my tattoos or piercings he makes me feel so comfortable and relaxed. I won’t let anyone else put needles that close to my body. Without a doubt I’ll come here in the future.

This is my second tattoo from this business. However this is my first tattoo at the new location. The waiting room of the shop was neat and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful and as well as professional. they helped​ me with my choice of design for the tattoo as the font and color. The tattoo area was neat and clean and organized. Bob did my tattoo. He kept me focused from the pain and we had good conversation during the tattoo. I have to say its a tattoo there is pain involved. I felt mine was tolerable for the foot. I received instructions that are easy to understand on the proper care for the tattoo afterwards. And yes I would go back for another tattoo at this business.

I got a tattoo there awhile ago. The girl just put the stencil however she thought it should go so it wasnt facing the way I wanted it to go.And after the tattoo healed itself there was alot of spots that didnt seem touched at all by ink.She did a great job with how it was supposed to look. Idk if it was my skin that didnt take to the tattoo it what I have another tattoo that turned out fine but I didnt get it at phat Joes.The price was awesome for the tattoo. Much less then I thought it would be.

My mom has gotten 3 tattoos here. I went to get a gift card for her recently, i had never been there before, and i never want to step foot in there again. I walked into a man sitting in a den like room playing video games smoking a cigarette. What kinda tattoo parlor allows smoking inside these days, its not 1975. The tattoo magazines on the wall looked like they were 30 years old and it just felt dingy and dirty. I feel like I got hepatitis just from standing at the counter. Now lets critique the tats mom has (i love my mom and i respect her creativity when it comes to her tats and yes i know they are for her enjoyment not mine). The first one she got was theatre masks, the happy and sad ones. Pne mask has teeth the other doesnt and the faces are distorted plus its quite scratchy. The second is an angel wing with blood splatter, it looks like a scratchy triangle with red polkadots. And the third is a cancer ribbon that is black. It has random shadding around it and it looks more like a stick figure fish than a ribbon. Please save your money, you pay for what you get. I have 10 tattoos and I crave getting ink but i wouldnt go to phat joes if it was the only place to get a tattoo in the world.

If you want an amazing tattoo artist, kellie Carl is the one and only. She is the only one that I will ever allow to tatt me.

They put in an ear ring that got my daughters ear nasty and infected, then she went back and charged her to put one in without nickel in it ( or something like that).
