I, like the last two reviews, have had a negative experience with Carisa. She canceled twice, then shifted blame to me when it had nothing to do with me. I was really looking forward to this memorial tattoo and put a deposit down in January. The appointment was made for May 9th. On May 8th, I sent Carisa a message saying that I was looking forward to tomorrow. I didnt hear anything until the morning of my appt saying that she was sick and had to postpone. I said that I understood and hoped that she felt better. We then re-scheduled for May 20th at 3. She sent me a message on May 16th telling me that someone placed a deposit for the same time as my appointment last minute, and asked that I come the next day. What about the deposit I had placed months ago? I told her I couldnt rearrange my schedule due to work. She then asked me to pick another date, and she would see what she could do. I had rearranged my schedule twice already, so I wasnt feeling good about the lack of honoring her commitment, so I asked for a refund. She said that deposits are non-refundable. Today she messaged me stating that she would be refunding my deposit since she didnt feel comfortable doing this tattoo since I didnt respect her scheduling process. She also stated that she had a right as a business owner to take sick days. Im not sure how I disrespected her scheduling process when she canceled on me twice. I completely understand that sickness cant be controlled, its the second appointment that is very frustrating and unprofessional. I invested my time (5 months), money (deposit in January) and trust in her work. I have 9 other tattoos and have never dealt with this in the past from any other tattoo shop. The communication or lack thereof, businesses practice, and gasslighting were disappointing to say the least. I wasnt able to respond to her message today since she blocked me as soon as she sent it.

I had a cover up done by Carisa and it turned out resembling the photo on the far left. I had people ask me why I had “dirt “ on my leg and I was discouraged by it so I had another artist work up a flower pot design instead to cover the cover up, while flowing with the flowers I already had in place.I had been told the original design would be very hard to cover up, and that was why she went that route of shading in that entire area black, BUT in doing more research and talking to people I found out that it could have been turned into something more appealing the first time around instead of this.Anyone wanting a cover up shouldn’t have to worry about something like this being done to them like it was to me.

Carisa has done 2 of my tattoos and each time has been professional and an outgoing atmosphere. Very impressed with her work and will definitely be back!

We were going to get matching tattoos and she rescheduled on us twice over a span of a month. After not responding to me for four days we decided to pick somewhere new to go. She would not refund us our deposits because of her scheduling issues. She has it posted further down on her Facebook page that deposits are non refundable, new customers would not be able to know that. Might want to put that in your overview on your Facebook page for all to see immediately. Would not recommend at all. Not a good experience with her and didn’t even meet her or got a tattoo.

I hate leaving bad reviews but people deserve to know when getting tattoos. She was so nice in the beginning. I had to reschedule as I was burnt. But the next appointment she wanted to reschedule for health which I totally understand. I messaged 3 times to get it rescheduled with no answer. I finally get an answer and have to wait 4 month from my original dates. I told her I’d just take my deposit back as she offered it before rescheduling another time. She was denying me it now. I get you get sick and kids do but I wasn’t going to wait another 4 months. That would have been 8 months total from when I first went there. I think she couldn’t do what I asked for a tattoo. She told me I was disrespectful when I totally was find with rescheduling if she answered and didn’t ghost me all the time. At the end she didn’t even give me the full amount but who ever was there was nice and paid the rest. Thank you

I got a piercing else where and it wasn’t pretty… Abbott Artistry was so kind and helped me clean & gave me healing instructions with no charge. They are so kind & really do care about their clientele! ❤️ would recommend for any service!!

Definitely check out this tattoo shop, very talented artists and professional piercer! Leanne and Carisa do amazing work and have brilliant ideas.
