Gilded Heart Tattoo

My first time in the shop was nothing short of wonderful. I booked a Friday the 13th tattoo with Krysta and was blown away by the selection of flash designs. Not to mention, there is two ‘get what you get’ machines lowest priced at $60!The entire process was smooth, comfortable, and easy from start to finish. Krysta made me feel at home and did a phenomenal job checking in on me during the tattoo and the tattoo itself!I loved her work so much I already booked with her again! Thank you Krysta and Guilded Heart!

I went in to get a design for a tattoo I had in mind, and Mark was amazing from start to finish. He designed a tattoo for my kids of their birth flowers that had absolutely nothing to do with each other, and he made the most beautiful design. He was able to fit me in the next day, too! He is such a cool dude to talk to, is insanely nice, and definitely has your best interest at heart! He wants to make sure you love your tattoo forever. I have 4 other tattoos from other people, and this one is healing the best and fastest by far. He doesn’t press as hard on the needle as I’ve had in the past, and overall, it made for a very pleasurable experience. I highly recommend seeing him if you’re looking for a tattoo! He’s only in town until June!

I’ve had two tattoos from Jason (the owner) in the last year. When my soon to be 18 yr old wanted a tattoo; he was the only one I was willing to take her to. We have a genetic condition that makes our skin a bit more fragile and he did a phenomenal job. Very little irritation. Never lays down too much ink and they heal quite well! He was also very patient with her sensory needs and reactions. I look forward to working with him again in the near future.

We visited Jason Doherty of Gilded Heart Tattoo and we each got a forearm tattoo of a stylized “Up” house floating away on balloons. His waiting list requires planning ahead, the wait was oh so worth it!! Jason was amazing, his quality of work was way beyond expectation and his friendly demeanor made it such an excellent experience. If you need some work done, give him a call!!

They did a really great job! It was my friends and Is first tattoo and he was able to calm our nerves and talk us through it. Very clean and safe, he worked quickly and to me it was fairly painless.

I give Jason a 5 star plus rating for professionalism as well as his expert artistry.. a very good experience for myself and my wife! We are both scheduled now to proceed with a major amount of color..

I went to Jason for my tattoo for my daughter. I had no idea exactly what I wanted but knew I wanted Daffodils (her birth flower) and I wanted them to look realistic. Jason DREW this for me! He is an incredible artist! He was amazing through the entire process from the consult to the finished product. Just got to finish it up yesterday. I LOVE my tattoo and so glad that I trust Jason with my biggest and most detailed tattoo. He exceed exceeded my expectations! Thank you Jason!

Jason is awesome, he does great work hes done 2 of my tattoos. 1 of which he did when he didnt have to, the old shop owner made a deal with me and I he did the work. Either way he did the work honestly and with a passion... Definitely want to go back, cant wait till I get money to get more work done.

Ive returned to Jason Doherty at Gilded Heart Tattoo three times (thats four tattoos total-- so far!). He is consistently the only artist I have found who takes my vision, draws me a completely original and beautiful rendition, works with me to make sure the design is something I am completely happy with and thinks through the placement and perspective of the entire piece. I wouldnt have it any other way when I am putting something on my body to last forever.The fact that Jason is a genuinely good guy and an amazing ARTIST is just the cherry on top.I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an amazing tattoo artist.

Jason is quite talented. He hooked up a couple of cover-ups as well as new custom pieces that he drew totally to my satisfaction. I am going to continue to have him do all of my ink work. Interesting conversations, clean and comfortable atmosphere, and the place is much more inviting now that it has been taken over by these guys. I have seen Lukes work and I can say he also does some nice stuff. This is the place in Newberg to get hooked up with beautiful body art.

Their motto says it all. Good tattoos arent cheap and cheap tattoos arent good. Some of the best tattoo work youll find anywhere and lucky enough to be available locally. Lots of shops and artist come and go. This is a well established shop with as experienced and talented artist as you will find. When you see your local shops artist at a convention, you know theyre good. Not overpriced, value priced. Worth not making a mistake. Wife and I have had been before, going again.

It was my first time going to the Gilded Heart.I had work done by Jason! He did amazing work on my arm! And Lucas and Jason made the experience so comfortable and fun, I was laughing almost the entire time! Im definitely going back!

Told us to come in Monday for walk ins so we did and shop was empty but we were told she didnt have time... What a waste of time. Total lie.

Lucas is a wonderful artist. He takes your ideas and turns them into something you’re proud to wear forever! He has now tattooed 4 of 5 people in our family and several friends. I recommend him to anyone looking for a great experience!!

Jason and Luke are both excellent artists. Jason has become my family tattoo artist spanning 3 generations and multiple tattoos per person. I have more work scheduled for next week .

My mom has been here a few times. Lucas Malone is awesome. He is gentle and the conversation is always great too! Highly recommend going to him especially if you have thin skin.

Accomandied my sister for her first tattoo as a memorial piece for our brother, Colby. Colby and many of his friends have trusted Lucas for their own tatoos. Lucas was great to work with! He was flexible and I can see that he really cares about doing a great job for his clients. He also cares about the integrity of client artwork and originality!

My sister and I had a great experience yesterday getting tattooed by Lucas. The whole atmosphere of the shop was just perfect for us--very clean and professional, but not at all pretentious feeling like some tattoo/piercing shops Ive been in. Definitely would go again!

Gilded Heart is a great experience! I have been to get work done on several occasions...Luke, my artist is a NO BS kinda guy, he will be straight up and honest and tell you what works and what doesnt...he is looking to have long term clients, not just a butt in his chair...Kudos for being so straight forward!! My wife and I got tattoos from Zoe and she was amazing. It was my wifes first tattoo and she worked so well with her. Great environment and vibe in the shop. Even as walk ins we felt very welcome and everyone there was friendly and fun to hang with. My wife is already talking about the next tattoo she wants from them. I would recommend this shop to anyone. They are AWESOME.

After getting 2 tats from Luke, I will not go to anyone else. The experience I had with him was by far the best out of all my other tats I got prior to Luke. I like the fact that he uses the disposable needles, and seems to generally wants to know his customers.

Ive been going here for 4 years. Jason always has a story to tell and always does an excellent job tattooing. Quality is top notch and the price is good as well.

I didn’t get a tattoo but the owner/artist was a really nice guy! Talked with him for a while. And left feeling comfort in coming back and getting one once I can afford it.

I went here for my first tattoo in 2018. Immediately I felt unwelcomed and the artist was rude off the bat. Tattoo ended up not turning out like I drew it. Artist got upset when I needed a water break. Messy line work and shading.

I have 3 (and counting) tats by Jason and 1 (and counting) by Luke. They are both fantastic artists and great people to work with. Bring them an Idea, and you will get a quality art tattoo.

Unoriginal and played out artwork and tattoos that look like they are from the 80s. artists need to work on their black and grey skills. owner likes to criticize others awesome work online and has no portfolio of his own to show everyone how it should be done.do not get a tattoo here unless you want something u will regret.a shame to the tattoo industry

Got my tattoo done by Jason looks great and had a good time.

Asked if they had ink, immediately was told not to ask stupid questions and was told to leave. These people have always been horrible service, alot of people are aware of this.

Was highly disappointing walked in to get an appointment set up for my first tattoo and i felt unwelcomed and thought the gentleman were really rude
