I did CO2 laser procedures, twice, at the clinic, and I got a wonderful results !! I had a large pores, little break outs, fine lines , and only after 2 times all those things just gone, I’m impressed! Clinic has a very good laser machines, they do a very intense and deep work with your skin. I have tried the CO2 laser before in other clinic, it was nothing like that!Stuff is very kind and professional. Super satisfied with my results and highly recommend it. I would definitely go back to improve my current results.

I received three skin treatments in the span of 3 months and noticed such a drastic different in my scarring! I highly recommend the PICO treatment and will definitely continue here for improved results! The staff were also highly welcoming and patient with all of my questions which was appreciated!

Had acne scar laser treatment here in 2021. 3 Laser Treatments with NO RESULTS and they email me photos trying to tell me that my skin improved and asking if I want a 4th treatment. They damaged my skin. I have Asian skin and they still recommended to do laser treatment.... My skin still gets red every time I exercise. Im pretty sure they damaged my blood vessels.

Treatment - Laser Hair RemovalThe staff here have been nothing but accommodating during my experiences with them. Theyve made the process very easy for me, were flexible with me when handling logistics, and have been fantastic.They use the same lasers (or better) than all competing brands, and have high quality staff who are super friendly. Premium price for a job like any other place. Most of the price for the brand tag, not for the service itself. Yes they are very nice because the price is very premium. Also, one more thing, laser hair removal work only if you get treatment every 4 months. I get the package with 6 sessions every 2 months, and the results were good. After I finished all 6, I stopped going and after 1 year all the hair came back just like before. If you think this is a one time thing and then you will get rid of the hair I would ask you to do more research before spending the money, now I’m at the old habit of shaving every 2 weeks, it is like I literally did no laser treatment. It is not specifically this place but all laser treatment work like this. However, if you like to throw your money anywhere then go ahead it is a good place with nice and fancy people

I had laser hair removal of my Brazilian area and chin. I cant remember how I found out about South Coast MedSpa maybe Instagram. Once I inquired, I was contacted and we went over past medical history and setup my first of 6 treatments. At the time they were running a special so I got 6 Brazilian treatments plus chin for $750. I have dark coarse public hair and stubborn black chin hairs so this was something I had been considering for years and was quoted over $1200 from other laser places. The phone consultation was quick and the payment as well.Each appointment went really well, I started with a different NP for my first treatment than who I had the rest of the time. The staff are all professional, friendly, the office is clean. I enjoyed that the NP I had the rest of my sessions with was chatty like me it made the process more comfortable. I had my last session in August 2023, started in December 2022 and am beyond satisfied with the results. No more ingrown hairs from shaving, pain from needing to wax and so nice to be able to put on my swim suit and not worry about my bikini line.

Have been to the Newport office 3 times now and every time has been wonderful. The staff is friendly, easy to talk to, and helpful when answering questions. I did a laser treatment and filler. Both treatments were fairly comfortable the entire time including the before numbing cream when they let u watch Netflix for an hour while u wait. I trust that south coast med spa knows what they are doing as they individualize every treatment plan. I’m excited to be on my skin journey with them and even more excited for the results. I also believe price compared to others is reasonable for the service being given.

Great laser hair removal experience! This was the 3rd place in the last 10 years i tried and the only one that worked! Their laser is super effective and I’m super happy with the results. I did my research to know an Alexandrite laser was the best laser for my skin/hair type and this did the job. Professional staff, clean facility and they run great deals!

Such an amazing spa with incredible results! I used to get waxing done, but my life has changed for the better with laser hair removal. I’ve been going to SCMS for a about two years now. Mainly I go to the LA office but my last two treatments have been at the Newport office. My experience for both treatments have been really good. I had a laser treatment done back in September for acne scarring and a VI Peel done yesterday. Both practitioners were outgoing and friendly and the staff is courteous as well. I will definitely go back if I require more treatments.

Two treatments in and I am seeing results. My tattoo was black, blurry and had raised edges. I won’t lie and say the treatments are a walk in the park, the lidocaine injections are worth the price, but the staff has been amazing and I’m on my way to seeing the promised end of service results. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to remove an eyesore tattoo.

Since I have started my treatment with this company at the Newport, CA location, i have been pleased with the service, atmosphere, equipment that is being utilized for my acne scar treatment. The secretaries are always very nice when I arrive and always arrange the most accommodating appointments that fit my schedule best. They always send reminders by email or phone call about your appointment which, I always appreciate. The atmosphere is always welcoming and comfortable when arrive. I am happy with the service that South Coast Med Spa has given me.

I love the team at South Coast Med Spa. They always treat me like family. I have acne scars, sun damage along with fine lines and wrinkles. i also suffered with adult acne. To my amazement my acne totally stopped after my first treatment. (This may not be the case for everyone but it worked for me.) After my first ASR laser treatment, it took a few days for my face to heal, that was to be expected. Then my friends and family noticed how much better my face looked. Even people that didnt know i had a treatment done made comments on how beautiful my skin looked. I am so happy! That was only my first treatment. Then I had my second treatment on Thursday and I am super excited to see my results. I was treated like a princess and my procedure went extremely well.

Staff is excellent. All the ladys that perform my laser hair removal have taken good care of me. They dont rush the procedure and pay attention to detail. Prices are good not the best but good. The best prices are the bundle ones like a 6 pack of laser hair removal treatments.

I had a laser treatment here last year and got great results. I had a lot of compliments from family & friends on my skin looking fresher. I’m getting another treatment this month. Also it was not that invasive at all, it just felt like a temporary sun burn. I was expecting much worse so was pleasantly surprised at how quick and easy it was. Staff is also very nice and it’s a very clean office. I highly recommend trying out one of their lasers!

The treatments were great, there were some pain during and after the treatment but it was not something you couldnt bear; it went away in less then 2 hours. Great, friendly place. My consultation went wonderfully. The staff was very informative and kind. They only validate for 20 minutes though, so be prepared to pay for parking. I bought a laser hair removal package and I will update after my appointment in January. Excited!Update! Its been one month since my first treatment, Im going for #2 today. It.. Is.. Fantastic! I cant believe I waited so long. First off, it doesnt hurt. At least the first round didnt. I didnt feel a thing except the cold air. So dont worry, it doesnt hurt.South Coast warned me that the hair would appear to grow in faster for the first two weeks before it falls out. It absolutely did, to the point I was worried the the first treatment didnt work. Almost two weeks on the dot, it all fell out and the coarse black hairs that have bothered me for years are ALL GONE. I am so happy with my results. I cant wait for round 2!Update: Round 2 went perfectly. Be aware, I did feel it more than Round 1, but it was nothing to worry about. Getting my lip threaded or waxed is much, much worse.Update: I am so wonderfully pleased by the results from my upper lip and chin treatment that I am now getting my bikini and underarms done. Oh my goodness, the freedom. I dont have to worry about shaving or waxing. The ingrown hairs that plagued by bikini area are a thing of the past. I cant believe I waited so long. My underarms are so smooth. The nurses are just the best, so sweet and kind. With all of the COVID-19 concerns these days, they have taken all of the precautions. I highly recommend them for anything you need, from hair to skin.

I have been coming to South Coast MedSpa for over 3 years for tattoo removal and laser hair removal. Since my very first tattoo removal treatment, everyone has been so nice and caring. Apparently, I am a big wimp when it comes to pain, so I have massive anxiety attacks before each session (which only lasts about 10 min or less). The staff are always so supportive and try to make each session as painless as possible. They are always super friendly and remember that I am the girl that was uncontrollably sobbing on my first treatment. I only have three treatments left (hopefully). I would highly recommend this facility to all of my friends.... In fact, I actually have recommended 4 people who have all been super happy with the experiences they had at South Coast MedSpa.

I have been going to South Coast Med Spa for a couple of months now as I have signed up for two of the laser acne scar removal. I have finished my first round of the laser treatment and can already clearly see the results. I have notice a reduction in my acne scarring and my complexion now just looks much more even and healthy. I had always been super self conscious about my acne scarring and now with these treatments I am starting to feel a lot more confident about myself. I cannot wait until the second round of treatments.I chose to do my treatment here with South Coast Med Spa after searching many other treatment centers because of the fact that they were extremely flexible with my payment options and they were also extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Upon consultation they recommended which treatments suited me best and gave me comparisons of the different options! I’ve had multiple laser treatments and with each one my skin appears smoother. I have Bellafill sessions with Courtney for my acne scars and she did an amazing job with attention to detail. Aside from visible scars, some of my small rolling scars which never gotten an improvement before had been smoothed out and raised up to skin surface.I highly recommend Courtney for candidates who are looking for scar and skin texture improvement.

I started coming to South Coast Med Spa late last year for laser hair removal, and so far, so good! Ive only had two treatments but already I can tell a huge difference in the amount of hair and the rate at which it grows back at.Compared to other med spas in the area that offer laser hair removal, the pricing is about average, not on the extremely high side- definitely not cheap, but I think you pay for convenience. I never have an issue getting an appointment within a week of calling, and I love that they offer weekend appointments since I can never get in during the week due to my work schedule.Treatments are fairly pain-free and efficient. Ive had a treatment at another spa that took over 2 hour to do my legs because the RN couldnt work and talk at the same time. Not the issue here, Im in and out. I cant wait to get through the rest of my treatments!

Staffs at SCMS are very informative and knowledgeable. The consultation was very thorough and they addressed all my concerns. They offer in-house financing which is a plus for those who needed the treatment but don’t have this kind of money for cosmetics.I purchased a package of four laser acne scar treatments and had my first one done in back in January. Now two months later in March, I see a slight improvement on my scarring. I see about 20% in scarring reduction which is expected for the first treatment.I’m very pleased with the treatment and service. They are very accommodating and understanding. I’m from the East Coast so I have to fly out and was late for my appointment. I thought they were going to tell me to come back at another time but they didn’t, they were very nice and proceed with my treatment. I was ecstatic.I’ve had two follow up evaluations done with my first treatment and each one was very informative. I’m looking forward to my next appointment in three weeks. Hope results are even more amazing. I truly believe SCMS are very passionate about treating their patients.

I just had my very first professional laser hair removal treatment about 4 wks ago. I am absolutely thrilled about the results so far. I already am able to notice a reduction in the regrowth and my skin is much smoother. I am so excited that I immediately added another area. The staff is very professional, thorough with explaining the process and knowledgable. I have been coming to SCMS for about 8 months now. I go in every 6 weeks for my full Brazilian, and under arms treatments. I can’t say enough good things about this place. I wish I would have done this years ago! The staff is very professional and friendly. I am in and out quickly and so far seeing amazing results! I was use to waxing before, so the first few times of treatment didn’t even really hurt too bad. However, every time I go in they up the machine a bit so I have been using the ice packs they offer. Use them, they totally help!!! I have already recommended several friends and family members. Over all this laser hair removal is completely life changing. I am looking forward to my next treatments before I am hair free!

Fast, professional, friendly, and a little expensive but they use quality products and equipment.2/5/2020 change to original review.My last and final appointment with SCMS was less than pleasant. I was going to be running 20 minutes late, however GPS said I would arrive in 15 minutes, I called to inform them and was told to reschedule for 2 weeks later or wait for up to 2 hours... Now I only get my chin and neck lasered which takes 10 minutes tops. I understand clients showing up late pushes the schedule later and inconveniences other clients, however that was always me, waiting past my appointment time which was never an issue for me. I was at least gracious enough to call and inform them, whereas others do no. Not to mention a 10 minute appointment was not going to push the schedule any later. Up until that day I was a loyal customer, but have since found a more affordable clinic to get this done. Its really a shame how one unpleasant experience changes an entire outlook.

SCMS is the place to go to for your skincare needs. I had 2 profractional lasers and 4 BBL treatments done at either the LA location or Newport location. Both places I had a great experience and the customer service was the best. My skin looks so much better than 2 years ago and I highly recommend this place to anyone who has struggled with their skin at any point in their life.

I just finished my 2nd (out of 6) laser session at South Coast MedSpa. So far the results are amazing! This is my first time getting laser and I was nervous to try it because the hair I wanted removed was on my face. I was very worried about hypo-pigmentation as I am black and had read that laser could cause that in darker skin tones. However, the staff has been very helpful and informative on what to expect throughout the process. They even did laser on a small test area on the side of my jaw during my consultation so I could see how my skin might react. I would definitely recommend them for anyone considering it.

Best decision I ever made. Ive suffered from dark facial hair the last 10 years of my life and it just gradually got worse. I started hair removal treatment back in Dec 2014. I had 6 treatments and now back for touch ups and so far so go. No scarring or darkening. Shaina is great. Very attentive. The whole staff is wonderful. Very friendly!Just wish I had done it sooner. I came in for a tattoo removal for my first session it was an amazing experience. The staff is super sweet and nice! And very helpful with all my questions. They always got back to me with a response very fast. I used the pfd patch which suppose to be up to 4 treatments in one. I did find it helpful but still feel like if we didnt have the patch more would have came off. The pain was literally NOTHING which was also amazing. I cant wait to go in again and see what my next session does. I gave 4 stars only bc of the pfd patch but the service and everything else 5 star forsure

Im here for extensive tattoo removal and laser acne scar removal and am very happy with the results so far. I have referred other family members as well. The staff is very friendly and professional. My PA Celise is very knowledgable and thorough, making sure all of my treatments receive the most benefit and the settings are just right. The price comparison is very reasonable compared to the competition, and they are willing to work with you based on your budget. They often run promotions and have 0% financing options as well.

I appreciate all the staff at South coast Medspa. I arrived with many dark spots all over my face that were really annoying me. I had a couple of treatments and they worked remarkably well. They also gifted me with a retinol cream that helped lighten up other areas on my face and keep it light.I also came in for a laser peel, this is still healing in places sometimes all the effects dont show right away so Im waiting but my cheeks and rest of my face look great. I will definitely return.Im very happy with South coast medspa and recommend them. They are exceptional

I’ve been receiving treatment for my acne scars and overall appearance of my skin here since September. Over the months my skin has improved with the treatment I’m receiving, I’ve gotten a few done which included micro fractional laser to blue light treatment. My skin was very red, has a lot of blemishes left over from my breakouts. These treatments have really reduced the appearance of my skin tone and texture, I’m very happy with the progress thus far.

I went to South Coast MedSpa to get a BBL Forever Young treatment. I was a bit nervous at first, I never had it done before and had multiple doubts and concerns: what if the procedure is too invasive, what if it hurts, what if it is a wrong decision all together? However, all of my fears had disappeared after a few minutes of the initial consultation. Courtney was professional and knowledgeable, she went over the possible side effects, she explained that they prefer to start patients with milder treatments to make sure they know how the skin reacts to avoid traumatizing it too much. She also noted that milder treatments mean less dramatic results, which gave me a sense of confidence in knowing it wouldnt drastically change my appearance (that was one of my fears as well). I also had a chance to have a brief conversation with Mark, the manager, who impressed me with his enthusiasm over the treatments they offer: he seemed very excited explaining to me how they are different and what kinds of results one should expect from each one. I had a feeling hes genuinely proud of the work they do. Moreover, during the procedure itself, Courtney was supportive and encouraging, constantly informing me that I was doing good 💪, and making sure I was feeling good as well, Is everything ok? Does this hurt? I also need to mention that it did not hurt. I mean, some spots were more unpleasant than others, but the sensation was so brief, its hard to call it pain, really. If I had to describe the treatment in one word, Id say it was bright, more than anything. But thats the whole point, isnt it?I am still waiting for the full results to show up (it takes up to 6 weeks for skin to show full rejuvenation effects after the BBL), but I already dont see some of the blood vessels that were bugging me before. Also, I did not have any redness, burning sensations, or swelling after the treatment, which I was really happy about.I recommend this place to anyone who feels unsure, nervous, or even scared: South Coast MedSpa made me feel welcome and cared for, they listened to my concerns without judgement and answered all of the questions no matter how silly they were. Very happy with the results. I come here on October 27th 2017 from Seattle to Newport for acne scar removal and it worked really good , the texture and pigmentation went away. I have been going to South Coast MedSpa in Newport Beach. Every time I walk in the staff is very friendly and they are always on time with appointments. Each session is fast and they are always accommodating to my time. I hope to not have to get another tattoo removed but if I did this is where I would go no questions asked =) Pricing is very good as well. You might find a cheaper place but you will not have the same our come as you will with going here. You can already see my tattoo disappearing.

I am currently getting Laser Hair removal at SCMS. I have been excited with the results and we are only half way through! I cannot wait to see the end results. Everyone at SCMS is fantastic. I just completed 4 rounds of skin resurfacing and I am very pleased with my results. On my initial visit to SCMS, I was informed that I would see 20% improvement in my acne scars after each treatment. I can honestly say that my skin is about 80% improved, just as they stated. Along with SCMS offering great results, their staff, including the front desk staff, physicians assistants and managers/owners, is friendly, honest and professional.

It’s a wonderful place, prior to getting treatments I used to have razor bumps all over my face, but with the laser hair removal I’m acne free and razor bumps free, I didn’t even know it would work I was just trying it out but I’m really happy with the results. Also the treatment is not that painful, u just feel at your first appointment but the rest will go smoothly.

Morgan was a sweetheart helped me out by making sure I got to my car safely after my procedure also gave me the information I needed for my lost recovery. The whole process was great staff is professional and amazing and sweet highly recomend now just waiting on how my results will be.

So far 5 stars for service and delivery. Been wanting to do this for years but put it off for three main reasons; money, discomfort and skepticism. Felt like I would be paying thousands to be tortured with no results. From the consultation, theyve made me feel comfortable. So lets see how they fared with my fears:Money: The price was actually reasonable (there were places that offered 1/5 the price on Groupon, etc, but are you willing to get a discount medical procedure?... No thanks, Ill take the real thing).Discomfort: Not just with the procedure, comfort overall. I went once to UCLA about 10 years ago and never went back. I felt like I was getting a tattoo. Tedious and painful. Absolutely the opposite here. Their technology is great. Could have slept through the procedure if the person performing the procedure (visiting from the San Diego office) wasnt friendly and engaging. When they say virtually no pain they mean it. Almost none.Skepticism: After 1st visit all was well. I saw results already, no side effects, after the minor sunburn wore off the next day life is good. Just had my second appointment and it went better than the first.. There is no quick easy fix but this is the best youll get. You wont regret it.

I was a little apprehensive at first, but after seeing the results of other patients I figured I might as well give it a try. Two treatments later, I am astounded by my own results. I am in the process of getting a half sleeve laser tattoo removal and the process is definitely not easy but I just got through my second session with Courtney and let me say she made the process fast and manageable. I was a bit traumatized from my first session bc I didn’t know what kind of pain to expect but when I can for my second session Courtney put me at ease and talked me through the pain and it went by fast. I did the lidocaine injections on my first session which helped but for my second session I also did numbing cream and lidocaine injections which was a game changer. I highly recommend Courtney and if you are getting a large area removed get the lidocaine and numbing cream you will be glad you did.

I have had for procedures done over the past five years with South Coast MedSpa. They are always professional helpful and knowledgeable. In 2016 I had three procedures of the laser acne scar resurfacing using profractional and microlaser peel. In 2020 I had PRP or platelet rich plasma applied to my face after the procedure and it reduced the downtime by about 40%. Very happy with the results!

I cant complain about the girls, but I do have my concerns about doctores procedures, I got laser acne scars removed 5,000 for both laser treatment, I saw the doctor one time and the second time only to tell me that, there is nothing they can do to removed picmentation after my laser treatment after 1 year going every mo th to get dermabrasion he told me is not going away with really cold words and after seeing me crying he didnt care. I ll never never in my life would go to that place .

I have been suffering from acne ever since i was 13 years old and now that Im 18 i have all of these unwanted acne scars. I was going to SCMS for tattoo removal, but I wound up stopping because I feel like with all the times that Ive went there I wasnt seeing any real results (so it was better to just get the tattoo covered) and I was getting hyperpigmentation which never went away!😞

I had the filler shots for my jaw on monday, in the first hour my jaw was popping and clear and i was happy , woke up the next day all the appearance was gone, no one noticed i had done anything, i paid 1600$ of my hard working money trusting you becuase you had a five star review but i was so disappointed, very very disappointed
