Todd just did a memorial tattoo beginning of July. He did such an awesome job!!! He is an awesome artist! He has done 2 of my tattoos and will go back!

So I am not familiar with artists in the area, so when my artist who is 2 hours away was booked 7 months out I scheduled at Mystic and they got me in much sooner!!!The gentleman did a great job on my spine! I also enjoyed the atmosphere and the decor. I even took my son back there recently to get his ears pierced for his birthday. And the woman who pierced him was very friendly and knowledgeable about aftercare.

Went here to have my first professional piercing. Arial did an amazing job! She was very thorough on aftercare and what to expect during the piercing and healing process! She put me at ease immediately.Highly recommend

Beyond happy with the outcome and for having such an amazing artist!! Chris Gill made my tattoo phenomenal! If i could give more than 5 stars I totally would! He was so supportive through the whole thing and truly made getting the tattoo an experience!

Im not one to leave reviews really but I think this place deserves all the kudos! I think their reviews speak for themselves and are reflective of my experience as well! Ive had a few tattoos here, as well as a piercing and every experience was the same. The welcoming environment, top notch cleanliness and knowledge of every staff member was consistent. I brag to everyone I know interested in getting a tat because I am confident theyd have the best experience like I did. Although my artist no longer works here Id be happy to work with any of their artists in the future, and will continue to recommend them to everyone. It seems this place holds a much higher standard than anywhere else and takes their hiring seriously as well. 100% look forward to going here every time and am actually sad when my session is over!

I got my second tattoo. I wasnt planning on getting another tattoo until my boyfriend recently passed away. I know what I wanted & Adam help me tweak it a little & it came out awesome!! I would highly recommend Adam to do your tattoo! He was very helpful & very nice!

Usually don’t leave reviews but I wanted to make sure that Jovani’s hard work was appreciated. Got help with my first tattoo design and she did a great job making it feel personalized for me and the best fit on my arm at my consultation. Very good customer service. 10/10

Just got a tattoo from Joe here , last minute tattoo since I was leaving for the marines and he did an excellent job , did the sketch and everything fast and awesome .. same day everything and it was a whole forearm tattoo .. very good and nice guy would 100% recommend !

I would highly recommend Mystic images to anyone and suggest Adam! The whole experience couldn’t have been more fantastic for me. The host Elise was so warm and friendly, it was my first tattoo and she went out of her way to comfort and reassure me! Then while Adam was working on my sketch he took his time, and was always asking my opinion on the details. He did an amazing job really listening to the details I wanted, and then bringing them to life. He kept a steady friendly conversation going to help with the pain, which made me feel more comfortable. He even added in a last minute detail I wanted when we were almost done. He didn’t even bat an eye to do it for me! I am so happy with this experience and how the actual tattoo came out. Thank you so much Adam & the rest to the Mystic images team. ☺️

I cant give enough praises for this shop. Clean, cool looking walls. My artist Chris brought my idea to life, and hes a great guy. Everyone was kind and attentive. Price was less than my quote, so I got a piercing too, which was professional and painless and quick. Ive already have 4 or 5 more tattoos planned, and I choose this great team for future work.

I’ve been going to see RJ since I was 17, am now 23, and now have a ton of work by him. Always a great experience and does some amazing work. Can’t wait for the next one! Here’s a glimpse at the most recent piece 🤙

This place is utterly ridiculous! When I first went in, the girl at the front could not understand what I was asking. I clearly explained I needed a new nose ring back because I had lost mine. I advised that I would also need help getting the nose ring put back in. She said “OK so you want us to adjusted the piercing in your nose?” I went through it with her at least 3 times before she understood. She said it would be $10 and I agreed. The girl who actually assisted me with the new back and placement (Ariel) took all of two minutes to put the new back on. When she was done, she asked me if “it was OK?” which I assumed she meant how it felt since she didn’t hand me a mirror to look or offer for me to look. I said it felt fine. I paid and then left. When I got home, I realized how wrong everything went. The back Ariel placed on nose ring was is too long. It makes my nose ring stick out at least a quarter of an inch from my nose! Furthermore, I have a piercing in each nostril with the exact same stud, so she clearly had an example to work with. I called to as soon as I got home and the girl who answered apologized and said I “could come back and get a different size back.” She placed me on hold to confirm and then came back to tell me they don’t have any other sizes. She then got Ariel to come to the phone. In my conversation with her, she told me that she only charged me the service fee of $10 for putting it in and didn’t charge me the cost of the back because she “knew it would be too long.” First of all I was told from the beginning, the whole thing would be $10 so I certainly wouldn’t have been willing to pay more. Second of all, She knew it was going to be too long and didn’t tell me, ask my opinion or give me a choice?! She said “I asked if it was OK when I was done.” I reminded her she never had me look! I then mentioned the fact that I have the other piercing and asked why didn’t she make it even?? Like…who wants two different length nose rings?? She said “well I can’t really see inside the other nostril when I’m putting in a piercing.” OK, fair, but when you were done, you knew that it was sticking out of my nose and you didn’t tell me or show me. She kept having the audacity to say to me she gave it to me for free. I paid $10!! It was not free!! Also, now I have a garbage nose ring back that I have to spend MORE MONEY to replace because this place was so shady and dishonest. BEWARE! DON’T GO HERE!

You’d be CRAZY not to ask for TODD SANDERS.I recently had the pleasure of getting a fine line dinosaur tattoo from Todd Sanders, and I am beyond thrilled with the results. Todd was a true professional throughout the entire process and delivered an exceptional tattoo.The attention to detail in the fine line work was impeccable, and the dinosaur came out perfect. Todds light hand and steady touch made the experience much more comfortable, and I appreciated his focus on creating the best possible tattoo.Todd was a pleasure to work with, and his quiet, to-the-point demeanor was reassuring and allowed me to relax and enjoy the experience. Wes was awesome.He knew what I wanted and took his time and made me feel comfortable and explained everything that he was going to do.And my tatto was beautiful. I would refer Wes to anyone that wants a great tattoo and I would definitely go back again.

I booked a tattoo with Sativa MONTHS in advance because I was coming from Pennsylvania to have it done. One of my first questions to her was if I would be provided drafts of the tattoo prior to coming in to approve and she said yes. Fast forward a couple of months, I asked to see them and she told me that she doesnt do this and I wont be able to see it until I get there. So I shouldve taken this as a sign to not go. Anywho, we set the date and time for 2:30. Fast forward to the day of, I get there to get in with the receptionist and they have me written down for 3:30. Sativa scheduled to have her own tattoo over my time slot and then gaslit me about the fact that she did not schedule me for 2:30. I even had to go back through our texts to make sure I wasnt delusional and I wasnt. We agreed on 2:30. Had she had been forthcoming about getting her tattoo done, I wouldve understood but they pretty much implied that I was a liar. Anyway, its time for my to look at the images, which I was told that she had 3 different sketches, but guess what? She lost them and had to redraw it that morning. I ended up sort of liking what she sketched out, but it didnt translate to what was tattooed. I asked for a mermaid and she looks more like an evil siren. I even provided references to give her an idea of what I wanted and I dont think they were used. Not to mention this was my first tattoo and i had a lot of anxiety revolving around now much it would hurt. Beware if youre going to go with this artist. I shouldve followed the advice and booked RJ instead.

Ariel is wonderful. Shes very knowledgeable and clean. The staff is very friendly and they welcomed me in and treated me like I was part of their family. Very nice people and even though I live an hour away from their shop, I will most definitely be returning for future piercings. Thank you so much for being such kind and caring people. You all rock.

Bad experience with Mystic tattoo shop.Hello tattoo community! I’m sending a warning and advising you about my experience on how my 1st tattoo was handled. Almost a year ago, in April. I got a tattoo with Scout. I chose this shop because it was a reputable tattoo place in Hamilton County, but I was very unhappy with the work. My complaints are that the original drawing was not as vibrant and the sphere did not look anything remotely like it should have looked, and that is when I pointed out revisions that I wanted made. I felt the artist didn’t listen to my concerns or was willing to put in the effort to give me a great tattoo. He said that I needed to let it heal and come back for my free touch-up.I later found out Scout no longer worked for Mystic Tattoo, and they quoted me a price of $80 for touch up. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the tattoo, and I should have received a free touch-up. The owner then tells me that it would now be $150.00 for a touch-up. I feel like at this point, they should refund me some partial money back for this tattoo, as this tattoo looks old and faded. Furthermore, I never received my free touch-up as promised, and this is why I believe I should get some sort of compensation. The owner said, It is pretty damn simple, that I would need to compensate another artist for their time to fix the tattoo. How about the owner pay the tattoo artist for this repair. As Scout had to pay part of the money of the tattoo to him. If he cared and was a good owner. Oh yeah, I didnt pay anyone to do my tattoo at your shop?? Thats very interesting. Look at the picture of Scout in your shop tattoo my leg. Do you need the ATM proof from you shop. You are unbelievable. And not a nice owner.

I have had my belly button and nose pierced at Mystic images and just got my ninth tattoo done here yesterday (my first one with them). My tattoo artist was Larry and he did an amazing job! He was professional and helped me with the placement. I highly recommend going here for your tattoos and/or piercings ☺️

I got a tattoo done by Adam earlier this year and all I can say it’s extremely disappointing. Instead of taking my request of having something similar to the reference photos I provided he just copied the image I sent, down to images glare and odd angle. The lines are extremely jagged, some are much thicker/thinner in some areas, and theres blowout. I understand mistakes happen but I can tell that this shop focuses much more on quantity over quality. There are some artists at this shop who actually can create some beautiful pieces but I’d strongly advise to be careful and do a lot of research.

The lady at the front desk was super sweet and outgoing and chatted with us while we waited. Baby cakes was the tattoo artist that tattooed my sister Karen. He did a wonderful job and we are very happy with the results. The customer service was wonderful and everyone was super friendly. We both picked up some new nose rings and one of the ladies even put it in for free. This is our second time coming here for tattoos and both experiences where great. 10/10 would recommend.

I had all my work done by RJ ....hes amazing! My son uses Adam and again...amazing! Both are very talented and take pride in tattooing. I will b going back for another tat under my breast soon! I also had my navel repierced. The first guy that did it sister do it straight nor deep enough so it actually pushed the piercing out. The lady this time around did it perfectly! I got my first tattoo here today. I called this morning and they were able to get my right in. My dad passed away last year, & I wanted a small tattoo of his signature on my inner forearm. Larry did a great job recreating the signature from a picture I sent him, and it turned out perfect. He explained everything as he did it, and made my first tattoo a very comfortable experience. IF I decide to get another tattoo some day, I will definitely come back here!

AJ was absolutely amazing. The vibe in the whole place was great, the staff was super cool to be around. All around 5 stars. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone

Love Mystic Images. They have the best cumulative group of artists around. Have had 2 large tattoos done by RJ Hunter and am scheduled for 2 more sessions. Also had both of ears pierced by Arial through my daith. The place is always clean and the staff is very friendly and professional. I have recommended them to many people and will continue to do so.

Chris Gill is by far the best artist Ive ever had. The entire experience from top to bottom at this location is always 5 stars. Stephanie and Elise are always so sweet and friendly! Trust me. This place is dope and you wont regret giving them a chance!!

I recently got a tattoo that was very special to me. It was in honor of my brother who we lost 3 years ago and I was looking for something very specific. I brought in a picture of an idea, I had in my head and a sample of my brother’s handwriting. DJ was awesome!! He was kind and funny and professional. He immediately went to work on a stencil with my ideas and gave me exactly what I asked for. I was nervous and kind of emotional and he was so kind. I will definitely go back to see him at Mystic Images for my next tattoo!! Elise at the front desk was also great!! Incredibly helpful and kind!! I highly recommend DJ!! I couldn’t have been happier with my experience!

Absolutely LOVE this place. i first came here back in august after having a very bad experience getting my lobes pierced somewhere else and they were so welcoming and helpful. Ariel is the BEST i’ve gone back for several more piercings since and they have all healed so much better than my lobes that were done elsewhere. truly shows how going to an experienced piercer who knows what they’re doing can affect the healing process. I’ve recommended a couple friends here too and they both had equally amazing experiences here from another piercer and a tattoo artist as well. 10/10 will be getting more holes poked in my body here

Came in yesterday the 30th of May no appointment and had an amazing experience. I talked to Phillip & AJ. They were both very nice and friendly. AJ is the one who ended up doing my tattoo and he did a great job!! The tattoo looks amazing, didn’t take long at all, and he ended up charging me $20 less than what he originally quoted me. Absolutely recommend AJ and the team over in Noblesville! I will definitely be back for another tattoo in the future! Also side note AJ even touched up another little tattoo on my arm for me real quick and didn’t charge me anything for that!! Thank you Mystic Images Noblesville for a great experience!

I have been here two times. Both times have been an awesome experience. Everyone is very friendly and super chill. Probably the best tattoo place I’ve been to in Indiana. I booked my appointments online via Facebook, I don’t know who runs that but that has been so easy and convenient. They respond quickly and are so patient as they let you walk them through what you want to get you the best artist. I had RJ the second time and this was definitely the artist I was meant to see. We vibed perfectly and his custom piece was better than the one I presented.

Awesome shop with alot of incredible artists. Everyone there loves having a good time while they tattoo and just has a really laid back chill vibe in the shop. No matter what you want there is someone there who will surpass your expectations.

RJ made my first tattoo experience pleasant despite the actual pain from the tattoo itself(can’t do anything there). I’m blown away by the level of detail he was able to achieve from a picture I had on my phone. Definitely worth the 40 minutes he spent working on it which he made it feel quicker. Came here on a recommendation from someone and if you’re looking for a great artist, ask for RJ!

This was my first tattoo ever full wrap around on forearm. I had a different idea at first but Chris was great at working with me to help me achieve the look I wanted, it was a great design and turned out exactly how I wanted. Chris was super helpful and had a lot of great energy and great to talk to during the experience and checking up on me to make sure I was good since I was nervous, definitely coming here for more and more work in the future super great service and Chris did an amazing job!!💯

I recently got my first tattoo at Mystic Images, and I couldnt have asked for a better experience. I went in with my boyfriend, and our artist was Larry. With this being my first tattoo, Larry made it nice and easy for me to acclimate to the new surroundings. I am more than thrilled to say that I will definitely be back again for another tattoo. I 100% recommend Larry, and Mystic Images!!

Just got my nose re-pierced today! absolutely fantastic! aftercare sheet, clear instructions, pep-talk for my baby sister while she got hers done right after me! loved the vibes here! thank you!

Got my daughters nose pierced there. It went well and healed up fine. The piercer is personable and is easy to talk to. She also changed out the original nose ring months later for us. If your child is a minor, be sure to take their birth certificate, your ID, and cash or use the atm there.

They had made a post about a Trunk or Treat for the kids for Sunday 10/29/23 from 1pm -4pm. The post said there will be multiple spots for kids to get candy, and a free haunted house, as well as free snacks and drinks and a costume contest with prizes. We arrived a little after 1 pm as it said on the ad starting at 1 pm. I brought my 6 year old son dressed up in costume ready to do a trunk or treat. When we walked in, the place had quite a few adults looking at tattoo portfolios and getting tattoos. People sitting on the couches just hanging out and people walking around looking busy. Not one time did anyone greet us, say hello, or direct us to the trunk or treat area for the kids. So we decided to walk around ourselves to see if there was any activity for the kids as promised. We walked all around all the way into the back part of the shop and not a single spot for the trunk or treat. They had a few Halloween figures all decked out in scary costumes but nothing for kids of any sort. They didn’t have drinks or snacks available and nobody to guid us the the area if there was an area, which I highly doubt because the front of the shop was for tattooing and it would be unsanitary to have food with the tattoo machinery. They had one small bowl of candy sitting on a table, so my son took a piece and we walked out the door. Not a single soul said goodbye, happy Halloween or anything. And as far as the haunted house, it was not even inflated. Now there might have been a problem with the haunted house, like a hole in the material or something not properly hooked up idk??? Ive gotten work there before and it was decent. I get compliments on it frequently. And I was possibly wanting to add another tattoo to my collection but the atmosphere wasn’t very welcoming, and that is a huge turn off for me. If I’m going to be spending my hard earned money, I at least want good customer service at that. And that experience has left a bad taste in my mouth. My son’s father who is now deceased was a tattoo artist and I was really wanting to show my son the way tattoos are done and the equipment, and seeing the post for the trunk or treat for kids I thought would have been a great opportunity for a good time, but it wasn’t and that is sad. Customer experience goes a long way in my book and I was really let down with this event. Maybe next time.

Arial was absolutely amazing and patient with my daughter who got her ears pierced and my son who tagged along with us! She made the whole experience easy and comfortable, would 100% recommend coming here if your kids want their ears pierced. Everyone at the front desk was so sweet too!

Called as soon as they opened on a Saturday for two appointments and practically walked in to get myself and my best friend new tattoos. The entire staff was super chill and professional and Scout did an amazing job bringing our design to life and does high quality work. Pricing is very reasonable and the atmosphere of their business is too tier in my opinion. Definitely recommend and wouldn’t mind stopping in for another tattoo the next time I’m visiting Indiana!

This was our second trip to Mystic Images & they did not disappoint!!! My husbands ruler tattoo is PRECISE! Marley worked REALLY hard to make sure every centimeter mark was PERFECT, and they ARE! And while mine was a straight off the internet, you can see Marleys coloring is stunning!I highly recommend Mystic Images!

RJ did an amazing job! I am in love with my new tattoo. This is my third tattoo at Mystic Images and I have gotten my nose pierced twice through them. Staff and artists are always helpful and super nice.

I took my very nervous 12 year old to get her ears pierced. Ariel Leach did an amazing job. She explained everything so my kiddo could understand what was going to happen. She gave her time to relax and be ready for the piercing. I would 100% recommend this company, specifically Ariel.

Got a tattoo here a year ago and i never realized how bad my tattoo was until i started getting more. This was my first tattoo when i turned 18 and a tattoo that should’ve taken 40 minutes took 15. I had an appointment scheduled for a few weeks so i was a little surprised when someone else had the same appointment time. This was the most painful tattoo i have ever sat through, and a year later it is still raised like i got it yesterday. the lines are blown out and bled together. I talked to another tattoo artist about how i can make it look better and i was told that i wouldn’t be able to get a cover up because it is so raised and it’ll probably never go down. I now have 5 other tattoos and have never experienced the bleeding and pain like i did when i got this one. my parents have gotten many tattoos here and have nothing but good things to say about their artist. so i’m extremely disappointed that a place my family has trusted for years left this on my body.

Comfortable and welcoming environment, staff was very friendly and helpful. Had two tattoos done together by Sativa, who was super efficient and did a beautiful job. In and out pretty quickly and they were very accommodating as I only just asked for an appointment (one week). Looking forward to visiting them again.

Edit as of 10/24/2022 (Original Review was 3 stars, now changed to 5 star)The studio has always been very clean, the artists I spoke to were incredibly friendly, personable and I felt very welcome there. Which i mote bevause my fist visit was the exact opposite. My wife got a nose piercing in the same visit as a walk in and the experience was very positive for them and their piercer was very sweet during the procedure.The artists that did my touch up, Adam, was incredibly nice, his station was sanitary and he worked like a true professional. I believe he is the owner, and he truly cares for his buisness and the work that is associated with his company.Overall I would not recommend this place to anyone looking to get a tattoo due to my experience. If they cannot get it right the first time it is stuck on your body. Though they did what they could to make it right, it should not have been wrong in the first place.(Three photos are initial tattoo, 6 months healed, and just after touch-up)

Got pierced at a discount, and later went in to discuss placement issues among other issues that I wasnt informed about prior to getting my piercing and was met with unsympathetic advice to just take out my piercings and come back to get them redone later at full price. Left the shop feeling incredibly stupid and like I wasted my money.

My last two tattoos have been from here. Aj does an unbelievable job. I always get compliments every where I go. Will definitely be back for my next one.

I got a tattoo by Marley Neel today and she was wonderful. It was my first tattoo and she made sure I was comfortable throughout the process. She advised me on the size and placement of the tattoo and Im so thankful I took her recommendations because it came out exactly how I always imagined it would.She worked quickly but never rushed and Im so glad I went to her for my tattoo. She gave me lots of aftercare tips and a few bandages and let me know some of the things that may happen during the recovery process. I look forward to working with her more in the future.The shop itself was very clean. I saw an artist knock a bottle of distilled water on the ground and they picked it up and sanitized the bottle even though it was only on the ground for a few seconds. It seems silly but I was really impressed with their commitment to sterilization.The atmosphere was lively and the artists had a great rapport with each other.Ill definitely be back!

Larry Sizemore took care of me and did an awesome tattoo that exceed expectations. Shop had an awesome atmosphere and it was a pleasant experience.

I came in today with my brother to fix a really terrible lip piercing done by another shop, and I’m so upset I didn’t catch her name as I’m partially deaf & didn’t have my hearing aids on, but she was so sweet & concerned, knew what she was doing and explained everything that the other shop did wrong!! I will 100% be back, and I cannot recommend this shop enough. I wish I knew her name so I could recommend her specifically! Everyone was so nice!

I got my cartilage piercing done here with my friend, i came back a few months later because i wanted to change my charm just to find out that it was pierced wrong and that it would never heal so i had to take it out. $60 down the drain. I do not remember the name of pericer.

This is my second time returning to mystic images in noblesville. Baby cakes aka DJ did an owl piece on me and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out! He was fun and funny and definitely made the experience so much better! He was patient and friendly even when he was giving me a hard time. I will guaranteed to be going back to have him fix an old tattoo and add on to mine I got today! He did awesome! All the staff were very friendly and pleasant and just enjoyable to talk to! The girls working there were so personable and sweet too! These people are great at what they do! Highly recommend!

My husband and I had appointments with Adam. I scheduled with him outside the shop (I’m sure that’s annoying to him, sorry Adam!) but he was very responsive and made our available time work. Front desk was easy to deal with and fast. I appreciate them supplying an ATM since they’re cash only, that was a time saver and super convenient. While we waited I saw the other artists and the piercer work with their clients, everyone was professional, kind and listened to the customer. The shop was clean and calm even though they were clearly busy. Our tattoos turned out great. Adam gave us very honest detailed care instructions, let us know how things would heal, sent bandage supplies and gave us his suggestion for touch ups if needed (due to location). Love it! We will be back!

My best friend and I got our first tattoos here and it was definitely a 10/10 experience!! Our artist was Larry and he was awesome! Very easy to talk to, made it fun, and walked us through everything step by step. The place was also really clean and very professional. Not to mention both of our tattoos look AMAZING!! I have been to this shop two times now and have had great experiences both times. First I got my flat pierced by Jennifer and she was super cool and did an amazing job. She also switched out the jewelry in my conch. It was almost painless and definitely one of the best piercers I’ve gone to. Today I got my first tattoo which was done by Larry. He was incredible and very fun to be around. The pain was very minimal and I’m obsessed with the tattoo. He tattooed my two friends as well and all of them are perfect. He also fit us in on short notice, and stayed later than he was supposed to in order to do all three of our tattoos. I would definitely recommend this shop for any piercings or tattoos you want!!!!!!!

I brought my minor son in on his birthday to get his lobes pierced. Even though we were a walk-in, they treated us like we had made an appointment and explained the simple process to us. The piercings went well and the staff chatted with my son to make him feel comfortable. I would definitely recommend this business to anyone else wanting to get their child’s ears pierced (the right way)! I’ll definitely be back in the future.

Larry did my first tattoo ever and he was incredible! I was very nervous going into in but he walked me through the whole thing along with some other workers who were there and it really didn’t hurt at all. He did great work and was super friendly and easy to talk to. Would definitely recommend him and mystic images!!

These guys and girls know what they are doing. Every single one of the artists are excellent at their craft. Ever customer is welcome with open arms. Ive had 5 tattoos done since Aug. 2nd, 3 of them done by Adam. I recommend you visit you wont be disappointed.

Friend took me to get my first ever tattoo as a late birthday gift back in late March early April and I had just a horrible experience. Asked for just a quarter sized bee tattoo to the right of my kneecap ended up getting a tattoo double that size three inches above where I asked and on the other side of my leg. No stencil was used so I wasn’t able to correct anything and he just used a picture off my phone rather than doing something with what I emailed him. The line work is inconsistent, there is gaps in the lines or several lines that are just super faint, the anatomy is lacking as there is a wing connected to nothing, and it just looks like a bootlegged version of the reference photo I provided as everything is out of place or smushed together and it’s very noticeably a bad tattoo. I’ve yet to show it to someone who hasn’t pointed out stuff that was wrong with it. I could have gotten over it not being the right placement and size though not stoked about it but it’s just a bad quality tattoo and there wasn’t a single aspect that was done the way I asked. Not sure what was up that day, everyone else there was extremely nice and a different artist (believe his name is Chris) had a lovely brief conversation with me about the source, I’m actually considering going back just to work with Chris because of how nice he was. For now though I’m looking into getting the tattoo removed since getting it covered up when I already didn’t want a tattoo that big let alone something bigger just isn’t an option. Will have to live with the tattoo for now though since I can’t afford laser removal at the moment. Please be cautious if you go here especially as a first timer! I just assumed that he knew what he was doing and I should trust him and I was very wrong. I’m sure Ryan is a lovely artist, he gave my buddy a tattoo they love, but something was off and professionalism was lacking.

Ive thought the world of Adam and Mystic images for a decade now and it was an absolute joy to get back in there and work with Larry. One of the most pleasant sessions Ive been through. Larry is a very sweet and considerate artist not to mention talented and patient. 10/10 would tell everyone to go to there and 10/10 would send friends to Larry.Thank you for the beautiful work.

I got 2 of my tattoos here. One from Adam & the other from Phillip RJ Hunter, and they both did amazing jobs! My daughter also got her first tattoo here. I havent gotten a piercing here yet, but have had a few piercings changed. Everyone was very friendly.

Just had my first piece done at this shop. Great atmosphere when you walk in, friendly staff, and the work is amazing! RJ was extremely nice, very detailed...and pulled off an amazing tattoo of perfect circles and straight lines! This is my go-to shop now!Wanted to share an update. I just finished getting my 4 tattoo here. I wish I had more stars to give. The new facility is amazing and the staff is amazing.I get compliments all the time on the quality of my tattoos.

I’ve gotten several tattoos here from Adam. He is always so professional and nice. I’ve had a couple of piercings done here as well. It’s always clean and appealing. Most recently I brought my daughter in to get her navel pierced. She has been wanting this done for a long time so I finally brought her in. The guy who did it was so nice and made her feel at ease. She has a funny navel so i wasn’t sure how it was going to go but he did it and it was perfect placement and is so cute. He went over aftercare with her and it has healed nicely! I would not go to any other shop. They are the best.

Was referred there for my daughters navel piercing ,she wanted it done for her Birthday so I took her in only for the female at the desk( piercer?) To tell my daughter no that it wont stay in that she dont have enuf skin ..really??? Yes my daughter is tiny but let me tell u , ive never in my life seen one more perfect!!! She rocks the navel piercing!!! WE WALKED RIGHT INTO ANOTHER SALON ON CONNER AND DIDNT GET TURNED AWAY!! Shame on u girl u Almost broke her spirit ..... Now that I look back I. Glad she didnt touch my daughter she clearly had an issue w us as soon as we walked in ,her loss I tipped the guy 20 Xtra bucks because he was super nice and very patient bein it was her first experience I recommend artistic design....

Got a tattoo here by Chas, her and everyone else was friendly. She was very helpful with the placement and patient with my changes. Honestly the least painful tattoo I’ve had and it’s healed nicely. Very happy with this place.

My best piercing experience by far has been with Jennifer! She pierced my nipples about a month and a half ago, I was pretty nervous but she was comforting and made me feel at ease. She was also very professional and super quick with the piercing process itself which i appreciated. I went back to get longer jewelry today and she changed it out for me so quickly. Definitely recommend Jennifer for piercings she is awesome!

5 stars specifically for Larry Sizemore. I have only had 3 artists tattoo me here, but with a lot of reputable artists in the same building, it is intimidating to me. My personal preference when it comes to getting tattooed is less professionalism with easy conversation. Larry tattoos my face without judgement, personal opinion, and makes the experience genuinely enjoyable. Amazing work, man!

I have had my nose and septum pierced here. Both times were great and they were supportive when I cried when I got my septum pierced cause it didnt want to go through haha. I got a tattoo there today from Phillip and it looks amazing! I dont normally do color tattoos, but it turned out great! I cant wait to get back to get another.

RJ did a decently sized piece on my ribs and did an outstanding job!! I gave him a basic idea of what I wanted and let him have fun with the piece and he did not disappoint. Does great work and is very professional. It took about 4-5 hours to do, towards the end I got light headed and he jumped up immediately to grab me a snack and made sure I was doing good. Definitely get your moneys worth from here.

Adam has taken care of 2 cover ups for me. One color and one B&W. He is so calm and collected, double checks his placement before he gets started and constantly makes sure it is looking good as he goes. The shop is clean and sanitary, great choice of music and a nice chill environment. This shop has def become my go to spot and I cant wait to come in for my new piercing!

This shop is simply one of the best for central Indiana. The prices are great. The artists are very skilled. Everytime I come home from a tour overseas I am able to be in a chair normally within 24 hours. I would recommend this shop highly. Adam is my artist and never disappoints regardless of the task... They are you feel so comfortable and at home. I havent had a tattoo in 10 years but feel like I need a 5th job just so I can keep going back. Chris has become my absolute favorite tattoo artist and does the most beautiful line work 😍

Not the most professional place, would not allow me to make a scheduled appointment ahead of time for a piercing, when I did arrive on the day that I had told them I would, had to wait for over an hour to see anyone for a piercing. Gave me butterfly backings, which I have never seen anywhere use with needle piercings. They were extremely difficult to remove which delayed healing due to difficulty of adequate cleaning. I did not personally enjoy the loud background, which is certainly up to personal preference. The experience certainly could have been worse, but I am overall not satisfied, and would not use this shop again.

Called ahead for a nose piercing replacement and they said yea no problem. I walked in and they said “we only have red and green, go to nirvana and buy one and come back” I ended up going to artistic design instead (would recommend them.) Nirvana only sells low quality, lead filled jewelry. Artistic design said they would never recommend buying jewelry from a place like Nirvana. Makes sense, because they are much more professional and customer-service oriented.

Have been here multiple times for tattoos and piercings over the years. Theyre always professional, extremely clean, prices are very reasonable, and an awesome atmosphere to be in. My tattoos have always turned out phenomenal and still look great! Would definitely recommend this place!

I had DJ and he is by far my favorite artist. He made me laugh the whole time. I had the best experience getting my tattoo. My tattoo looks amazing. Was schedule an appointment for my daughter in savanna il drove 3hours to get there and once we walked in he said he wasn’t feeling good and no one called or anything. I even emailed them when we left the house telling them we were on our way. So I am not happy with the lack of communication they have to their customers I understand getting sick and not feeling well but at least call your appointments and reschedule them.

Went in wanting a daith piercing but the lady told me she didn’t feel comfortable doing it so she ended up giving me an industrial piercing. When it came to her actually piercing my ear she didn’t give me a countdown or asked if I was ready. She just went for it. I have 8 piercings done prior and never had someone not do one or the other. Fast forward a couples of months and I’m getting dressed. I pull my shirt over my head and go to the bathroom to find my bar hanging by the furthest hole. She didn’t pierce the second hole far enough in my ear so it tore through my skin. I’m very disappointed and will not be coming back. Wouldn’t recommend.EDIT- Please look at the response to show the professionalism from the owner.

Great place. Took my 16 y/o to get her nose piercing. Very kind. Elaina was SUPER professional with my little girl. She was in, out, and done in minutes and gave clear after care instructions. Well be back for our next peircing!

I popped in the other day to get my nose pierced. Tiffany was awesome. Everyone there made me very comfortable, and it was overall a very good experience. Il be back for ink, for sure. The shop was clean, everyone was professional, but they werent rude (like the people Ive run into time and time again at bigger chain shops). Tiffany took the time to listen to what I want out of my piercing now and in the future, and together we made the best decision on placement and went over my options. Great shop!

Not professional. My husband scheduled two separate tattoos and he was forgotten about both times... I decided to give it a chance anyway and my appointment was forgotten about as well. All of these were “scheduled” by Barry... There is definitely an uncomfortable and unprofessional atmosphere. Just see for yourself by the response the owner gives under any somewhat poor review... That isn’t a way to keep the customers coming.

I went in to change my jewelry in a piercing and the guy was nice but because of COVID I have come to expect everyone to wear masks and no one was. This is especially concerning since it is a place youre spending time in close proximity with people and there are needles going into your skin. When I got into the room to get my jewelry replaced and had to take my shirt off, there was a window that people could easily look into. On top of that, the jewelry he was using, the package was torn and he did not sanitize it before putting it in, and handled it with his bare hands as well. As soon as I saw people not wearing masks I shouldve walked out but I didnt. Please be wary of the cleanliness of this place. Thankfully I wasnt actually getting pierced or tattooed here, I probably wouldve left if I was. This was by far the worst experience Ive had at a tattoo shop.Edit: I cant respond to your response, so Ill put it here.. But yes my reaction may have been a little extreme but I was very concerned, and as someone visiting your business for services I have a right to express concerns I have. As for the jewelry, it was not out of the display case, it was out of the case in the piercing room that was in sterile packaging but one package was ripped. The piercer also did not wear gloves while handling the jewelry until he was replacing it. Whether Im getting pierced or not, you should wear gloves. Lastly, there were people in the shop. There was a tattoo artist and a lady managing the pipe stand. I wouldve asked for the blinds to be put down if I knew they were there. Also, please explain the sign on your door saying you dont have to wear masks?

Dj did an amazing job on my hand tattoo last night. He even sang to me and he was awesome. I’m surprised he hasn’t been given a recording contract yet. He cared about the placement and design and was in and out within two hours.

Im not sure who my artist was, but I remember her being female. Regardless, my friend brought me here to get small tattoos together and we were welcomed with open arms on late notice and got some really cool tattoos. I would definitely go here again!

DJ did my tattoo, I got Pennywise the clown in memory of my dad who passed away. Ive been wanting this for some time now, and he did am amazing job! Its better than I could have ever asked for! We did schedule appts a few weeks in advance and wqs pushed back a little, but it was worth it. I cant wait for more!!! Will definitely be going back to him!

My mother passed away a few years ago an I had taken her hand print the best I could. I had Adam do the tattoo an he had added to the hand where parts were missing an it turned out way better then the original I had taken. I was super pleased with the outcome

Story time.This story is from a year ago and i really hope they had a staff change at some point between then and now.Upon arrival i was asked to fill out a consent form, i was really excited and wanted to be nice to the receptionist so i complimented her mask/nails. Before hand i just wanted to clarify payment. I didn’t know that they were cash only, my card wasn’t working on their atm so i had to run over to the atm down the street. I was gone for maybe 20 minutes at most. When i came back, She was gone and the two tattoo artists were sitting upfront and one of them said “She said she hoped you wouldn’t come back and ripped up your paper you filled out”. Im not very good at knowing the difference between people being mean or just joking so i laughed it off. not really that guys fault. This interaction made me extremely nervous. I felt unwelcome and embarrassed. The piercer made me feel more comfortable and was extremely nice, the only reason im giving more stars than just one. I want to add the shop smells like a garage, like, straight up diesel fuel.any way after paying/tipping a lady with a toddler running around freely in the shop told me that she heard my tire leaking air.only bringing that up because of the receptionists disposition towards me and it wasn’t like that when i had gotten back from the gas station. May not have been her so take that with a grain of salt. Anyways when i got home i felt kind if hurt by the experience, like, looking back on it made me feel upset. Im a people pleaser and a push over and would do anything to make someone upset on purpose so i just dont know what happened. Maybe i can in too late in the day? an off day? Idk. The piercer was extremely kind though and i enjoy my piercing.

Brian is a great guy and artist! Very chill, listens to what you want, and also tells you straight up what will fade and all that. The environment is filled with art that the artists made and want to tattoo, so its definitely got heart. One thing I will say is that the music wasnt really my favorite. I heard the n word like 20 times. If you want a geeky/nerdy tattoo(or any other kind) come here for a professional, well done job!

Absolutely recommend Mystic Images. The whole staff is great and I personally recommend Larry as one of the best people and artists around. Cannot say enough about this clean space full of really great people.

The piercings were done horribly . The lady who pierced us had to repierce me twice and repierce my friend once after messing up the piercings the first time. Even after getting my piercings they were still done horrible and not placed right.

My friend and I had a great experience getting our tattoos at Mystic images. Our artist was RJ, and he did an amazing job! My tattoo came out even better than I anticipated and the lines/shading are so clean.

RJ seemed very kind and through. I actually went for a birthday celebration/ concert, but ended up getting my granddaughters name and Birthday on my arm. It was very quick and done really well. I think Barry, was who did mine. Its the only 4 days old and its basically healed. Ive had heavy handed tattoos done in the past, if you have tattoos, you probably know what I mean.

I just want to say the tattoo that DJ gave me tonight was by far the easiest tattoo I have ever received! He was so nice and a genius with the needle. Highly recommend!!!! He also fixed my friends tattoo from another shop!

Ok normally don’t write reviews but I haft too on this one. Whatever you do don’t go there after hours and get a Tattoo done by Rick cause he does not know what he’s doing. I gave him a simple small tattoo to do and he butchered it. Now that’s out of the way I have nothing against the shop owner or other artist there because I’ve not seen there work And do not know them personally. But for the owners sake don’t let Rick run off customers or leave a bad review like this one.

Wish I could leave a 0 star rating. I went in and asked if they could pierce my friend and my septum and they said they were out of septum jewelry. We called back an hour later and they said they can do the piercings after lying to us in person. Do not recommend

I went into Mystic Images a week before my scheduled appointment to schedule a tattoo with them. I saw them write me in their book and they told me I was all set. I called them a few days later to change the time of my tattoo in which the artist who would be doing my tattoo answered. He said it was all good for me to come in at 8pm on Thursday (July 16th) rather than 3pm. On Thursday, I walked into the tattoo parlor at 745 to get some papers signed (as I am a minor), and to make sure I was there on time. My mom and I signed some papers and then we were told we wouldnt be able to get the tattoo for another 30- 45 minutes. We came back after another 30 minutes where we proceeded to wait until 1030pm and were told we werent written in the books. I finally got my tattoo and was told I could come back in a week to get it touched up. I called Saturday to schedule a day to get it touched up and was told I could come in anytime on Monday (July 20th). My dad called the next day to confirm the appointment, in which we were told we would have to wait the Monday after (July 27th), because he was too busy. The Monday of the 27th, we walked in at 7 (our scheduled time), where we were greeted with blank faces and told that the only person who could do my tattoo was not in that day. We had made it very clear that I would be getting a lip tattoo retouched and Barry was the only artist who could do a lip tattoo. Of course we werent happy, however I really wanted my tattoo touched up, so I scheduled another appointment for Thursday (July 30th) at noon. My mom filled out the paperwork as she would not be able to come in on Thursday and we were told if we filled them out in advance then that would be okay. On Thursday, my uncle and I arrived once again at Mystic Images. We were told the paperwork must have been thrown away or misplaced as they couldnt find it. Finally, after they looked around some more, they found the papers. The tattoo artist began preparing. Suddenly two girls walked in for a piercing. The two girls got their piercing before I got my tattoo fixed (which was a 5 minute tattoo max.), even though they walked in after me and didnt have an appointment. The plan was for the tattoo artist just to go over my last tattoo, however upon further inspection, you can see that he redid it and my lip now reads XOO instead of XO like I wanted. Not the mention the tattoo looks nothing like the picture I wanted. I am extremely disappointed and dont think I should have paid $80 for the tattoo I got.

Lilly Lavenza did really good with my daughter she explained everything she was going to do to her ears and how to take care of them she was very nice and helpful with my daughter.

Had Barry give me a piece on my arm today, it was my second and my girlfriends first. She was nervous at first but as soon as we came in Barry took care of us and is a really cool guy and great at his job and she loved him too. Was fast and very affordable and did a great job and will definitely come back.

Got my belly button pierced and the girl was very nice and comforting. The place is very clean and professional and the staff is friendly! Would definitely come back.

The people there were all very approachable, and the work Adam did turned out great. Even though the place was busy when I visited, they took the time to answer all my questions. The place was clean, he got me in and out of the chair super fast, and the price turned out to be less than I had planned for...pretty much everything you’d be looking for in a tattoo shop.

I only get my art done at this shop. Adams work is phenomenal! Very sanitary and very good with prices, and the Artist are always super friendly! Needless to say, never will I get any tattoo work done unless its being done by Adam over at Mystic Images!

I messaged Mystic Images about getting a tattoo today. I got back a vague message saying they accept walk-ins for tattoos. The message also said “feel free” to call, but seeing as they accept walk-ins I didn’t think it was necessary. I went in and was almost immediately turned away and told that they do not do walk-ins. Not a friendly or welcoming environment. This is not a diss on the establishment, just the clarity of communication and the environment I personally experienced.

Love this place so much! I needed a cover up and went into many shops and no shops could match the idea I was looking for until I came here! This place is very welcoming all the artist are super cool and nice and their work is amazing! I would highly recommend getting a tattoo or piercing here! My cover up is spot on how I wanted it and the prices are always right on.

If I could give a negative star review, I would, and I am not the one to leave businesses bad reviews as I too am in the customer service industry. However, my experience with the OWNER of this company was so horrendous I just had to share. This WOULD have been my third tattoo in this shop, I am not speaking about the quality of their work as the two that I have are two of my favorite, rather the customer service of the owner.I scheduled a cover up with Adam, the owner for June 26, I had to reschedule due to personal reasons and called the shop with about a weeks notice, I was then scheduled for July 11 at 2 pm with Adam. At the time I followed Adam on Instagram and saw that he was at a Bike Show so I decided to save myself time on Sunday, to confirm that I would still be able to get my tattoo. These messages below are his response.I was not expecting to get my deposit back, that is company policy and I respect that; however when the OWNER tells you you can come get your deposit at your convenience, it is at MY convenience, not his at that point. I informed him when I was going to show up to get my deposit the day before and then messaged him the day of letting him know I would be there within the hour. When I arrived at the shop, the two ladies that were at the front desk informed me that Adam had left and they werent sure when he would be back. I asked if I could still get my deposit back, even offered to show them the messages. They told me no because it needed to come from Adam (I understand that). Since they did not know when he was going to return, I was not going to sit around and wait when I was told to come get my deposit at MY convenience. As I left the shop, I received a response from Adam regarding when I would be at the shop. He in response started cussing at me, that it was his day off (I told him yesterday that I would be in today), he knew I was showing up today. If he wasnt planning on being in, he had my name and should have left my deposit at the front desk for me to pick up, that would have been the proper business decision.As you can see in these messages I have attached, the OWNER of Mystic Images personally attacked a customer; a returning customer and a customer that was referred to him from a friend. This is no way a business owner should speak to his customers, in all reality speak to anyone, regardless of being a customer or not.I am sure the owner is going to give some type of its my fault response but you as a possible customer can physically see the way he spoke to me. Mind you this was over $100. As a customer I do not care about the excuses. As I stated, I work in customer service and know that this is not the way to communicate with the people that pay your bills for your business as well as your life as the business owner. What I expected was an apology and a way to make it right, not being attacked my a grown man. I hope you think about this customer service before entering this shop; there are many other quality shops in the area that do not have this poor of customer service.

We love Mystic for all our piercing needs! Barry is very personable and makes you feel comfortable. They will pierce under age 16 with ID and parental consent. Will be back :-)

RJ Hunter has done 2 tattoos for me. I love them both. I plan on a 3rd when I have some extra cash. I enjoyed atmosphere while I was there also. Nice place😊. Good Job!

This was a horiable experience. We had a 2 oclock appt time. They didnt even get my husband back till after 4. Then Adam did a rush job that looked horiable. The guy berry will soak jewelry for hours. He couldnt figure out what he was doing. So I didnt get my jewelry and my husband got a really bad tattoo. Go somewhere else. To get this mess fixed Its going to cost at least $375 dollars. Very unsatisfied. Not worth the $250 that my husband paid. If you click on my review by my name it shows all the pictures of my husbands arm.

Barry was awesome!!!!! My daughter and I got matching tattoos for her birthday. They look amazing!! This is my 5th tattoo, and is the best by far. I would definitely recommend anyone to go see Barry, at Mystic Images.

RJ is the man! I went to Mystic Images to see if they could fix a half sleeve tattoo that I started at another shop (I wasn’t happy with the direction it was going). He listened to what I wanted the vision to be a delivered it exactly how I pictured it. I couldn’t be happier. We discussed price up front and it came in exactly as discussed. He uses all the modern techniques and supplies. Go see him.

Actually had really great service and nice workers. Although we messed up a number and we hit them up a day later saying hey we will pay and just get it covered up somehow. They constantly ignored us and never got back. Don’t use the bald guy with the goatee and the head tat on the left side.

After taking all fault with mystic about my tattoo fading badly and peeling i contacted another tattoo place in Hamilton County and they told me that its not my fault and it doesnt look right. Do your research..you get what you pay for! My tattoo is faded only after a week. This place only takes cash so theres no paper trail. thankfully this other place is going to cut me a sweet deal to completely fix it!

I had an appointment for 5:30 pm and arrived at 5:15 in case my artist was ready early. I wait until 6:15 to see how much longer it was going to be. They then proceeded to take a walk-in instead of me; when I didnt have a preference for an artist. I was told 5:30 I shouldnt have had to wait as long as I did. The place smelled of smoke and people were just walking around doing nothing. I decided to leave because I was so frustrated.

I have gotten all my tattoos from them and I must say they are very clean and skilled at what they do. They make you feel at home and they will work with anything you give them. I tell all my friends to go to mystic images for their tattoos because to me they are simply the best.

Walked in to inquire about a cover up. RJ was super helpful in helping me pick out something that would work. He was even able to get it done right then. Im super happy with the piece he did. Amazingly well done. Will definitely have him do more work in the future!

I went to get my first tattoo at 17 (WITH PARENTS CONSENT AND SIGN OFF) my artist was RJ. I am a type 1 Diabetic and when nervous my body burns up more sugar. during my tattoo i expressed to him how my blood sugar was dropping and he said and i quote dude i got some killer pie i brought from home!! what a great place definitely a people pleasing experience that is just awesome that he went out of his way to give me something to help myself when it was not his responsibility what so ever! i am now 20 and have been back multiple times to the same tattoo artist R.J. man deserves a metal hahah ! If i moved out of state tomorrow and wanted a tattoo best believe i would be making the drive R.J. and the entire Mystic team have truly earned a client for life !
