I was tattooed for 14 hours over 2 days by Vincent (@vcn_tattoo). Vincent was professional, communicative, informative, and diligent during our 6 & 8 hour back to back sessions. Vincent’s bedside manner is so comforting, he checked in with me regularly on where I was at pain wise, & was very verbally grateful to me for being able to sit so well for such an extensive piece. It healed without issue, and is my most complimented piece to date. It is a photo realism black & grey piece of Darth Maul & an X-wing from Star Wars, & I was in love with the version he posted of it, but the tattoo blows the photo out of the water!!! I highly recommend working with Vincent & with JP Alfonso Studios for any of your body art needs.

This is a wonderful studio! They have created a great, calming atmosphere. The studio is kept very clean and tidy and the staff is very kind and professional. I really appreciated the great communication in confirming my appointments and hotel bookings. I recently completed a multiple session project with Favio. He is a fantastic and professional artist! During my time at the studio, I was able to see work from the other resident artists and was very impressed. JP clearly has an eye for talent! I would definitely recommend!

This place is full of amazing artists with personalities to match. Everyone is very polite and the atmosphere is very comfortable. Now to my artists, Fica....Hes just absolutely spectacular! Hes working the third piece for me now. The second of which Ive included a picture. Fica has great imagination and an obvious love for his craft. His super talent and attention to the smallest detail make him my go to artist. All of my open to close sittings with Fica have been very comfortable and even got some free lunch😃. By far the best tattoo experience I’ve ever had. The shop is very clean and homey. I was even able to watch TV while getting my tattoo. I had my session with Fica who was awesome, super accommodating and very detailed with his work. I will be returning for another session at the end of the month and I’m definitely looking forward to it!

@vc _tattooHad the previlage to have two days of work done here. This is the third tattoo I have got done here. Between the front staff, to the lunch they give you, everything is 100% professional. Cannot recommend this studio and Joel Ponce enough. The atmosphere is calm, professional, and clean. The artists all care deeply about their work and working with you to make sure it’s exactly what you want. Joel is incredibly talented and takes the time to get it exactly right and make sure you’re comfortable. My favorite is seeing how the different artists ask each other for their thoughts and advice. They clearly all want to be as good as they can and really respect each other.

Armando did amazing work! I searched for an artist for about two months because this is my first tattoo and I didnt know anyone. I found and followed Armando on IG and really liked his style. When we met and found out how awesome of a guy he was, I knew he was my guy! He was very helpful answering questions, was clean and organized, offered his opinion on what would look best, and created an amazing piece! This tattoo means a lot to me and I put a lot of thought and 40 years of living into it. I wanted the very best to the job. Armando couldnt have done better work. He was open to learning my story and was very passionate and excited about the job. Im going to finish the full sleeve with him. Hes my guy from now on! I highly recommend him! Thank you, Armando!

I cannot recommend this place enough! I use Courtnie and she has been nothing short of amazing. She is very professional, an all around great person, makes sure I’m comfortable and her skills are what keeps me coming back. It’s a super clean environment and everyone I’ve met so far has been insanely nice. I knew as soon as I walked in I had made a mistake. By ever going somewhere else for a tattoo. Holy cow this place is not in any way comparable to another shop. Everything is doctors office level clean, the interior design is beautiful, and the customer service can only be compared to a 5 star all inclusive resort. Courtnie is an incredibly talented artist. My piece is beyond perfect. Not only that she’s an incredible person to spend time with. All of the artist here are so much more then talented. I cannot say enough good things about this place and Courtnie. All in all you’re making a mistake to go anywhere else.

I had an amazing experience with JP Alfonso Studios via Fica. For one the inside of the studio is very modern and clean, and they treat it almost more like a spa.The staff made sure I was well taken care of with a place to stay for my two sessions, and lunch was taken care of each day which was much appreciated 🫶🏻Fica was amazingly easy to work with. When he sent his original design it wasnt quite what I was looking for but not even a day later he had sent me an alternative that was perfect!(talk about skills) Fica was very informative whenever I had questions or concerns and was attentive enough to be able to tell when I was desperately in need of a break.Everyone at JP Alfonso is in sync with each other and like other reviewers have said, you can really see the way all the artists build and grow off of one another. Its a unique ecosystem of a shop and likely will be the only shop I take my business to in the future.Not to mention Ive never had a tattoo heal in the speed of the one Ive gotten here. The aftercare was a breeze (other than a slight adhesive allergy to the secondskin which is totally a me problem but something everyone should keep in mind).Once again I cant thank everyone at the studio for such an amazing experience and I will definitely be back with my business very soon!!

This was my first large tattoo, and Armando absolutely crushed it. I simply told him what I was interested in, and he gave me a design better than I could have imagined. The shop is very professional and very accomodating with a very relaxed atmosphere. I will be going back for any other tattoos I get in the future.

I had Courtnie as an artist for my colorful piece. She was very professional and plecant. Good and friendly communication. I am more than pleased with how the piece turned out, it was better than I imagined from the start and it fit my personality. The studio is very relaxing and friendly too. Straight scammers. I had a huge piece being done by an artist paid thousands of dollars but couldn’t finish the tattoo due to the artist moving. When I asked for my deposit back they refused and wanted another artist to finish my piece which is incredibly unprofessional and no where in their policy does it state no refunds for this situation. Definitely beware of this place they will cancel your appointments and not give you your money back.

I just finished my second session with Fica at the studio today. My new piece a beautiful work of art, and FICA was wonderful at creating the design from my ideas and just a couple requests.The studio was great too. Everything was very clean and I saw staff cleaning multiple times while in the chair. The studio was nice and calm unlike many studios I have been to which really helped me get through some long sessions. I can’t wait to get more work done by FICA at this shop!Also FICA shared some great images with me so I could easily share the beautiful work I now have

I had a great experience with Fica. I went in for a cover-up on my leg and what he was able to do far exceeded my expectations. It was not just a masterful cover-up but an amazing tattoo in its own right. Fica is very professional, attentive, and passionate about his craft. The studio itself is very nice, clean, and calming. I’ve been working with JP Alfonso Studios for a while now to complete a sleeve. It began with another artist and Fica has taken over the entire sleeve to rework some of the previous work. No picture can capture just how beautiful he has completed the art that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. His original pieces brought a lot of emotion as he captured what I wanted perfectly (the flower and map are Fica’s original work). I am so grateful for the talent he has. While we still have two sessions left, I am overjoyed with my experience with Fica and would love to work with him again in the future for another project.The shop is incredible itself from the inside to the service of all of their staff and artists. The dynamic is unlike any other shop that I have found local to me, so traveling 7 hours from North Carolina is worth every minute.I would trust any artist in the studio as they are all incredible artists and really support each other.

Greatly enjoyed my experience getting tattooed at JP Alfonso Studio! the shop was very clean and neat and the staff were all warm and welcoming. my artist Sarah was a joy to work with, very kind personable and considerate! she reworked a sentimental design for me in order to have it fit with its complimentary piece better, which i really appreciated! the tweaks she made are things i wouldn’t really have considered myself and i’m sooooo grateful she has such a keen eye. the two pieces now look AMAZING next to each other and i couldn’t be happier! will definitely be coming back to her!

Armando took some of my very general ideas and then went and made a masterpiece that I will seriously cherish for the rest of my life! It’s only been 24 hours and the amount of comments saying it’s one of the best tattoos they have ever seen is awesome to hear! Will not go to another shop or artist from here on out!

Best shop in town! When you email or call you are greeted with the most friendly front desk person, Helena. She is truly a gem and treats you like family. I had the pleasure of getting my first tattoo done by Berkan! He did a truly amazing job on my hummingbird. He really took the time to explain the process. The concept he drew up was perfect and the execution above and beyond! That was back in June this year. Two months later I’m back for a second tattoo with Courtnie! I saw her floral concept on Instagram and fell in love immediately. It was the perfect tattoo for a family tribute. She was even able to add a special touch to it to make it even more perfect! It was truly a blessing working with her, I can’t wait to do more projects with these artists!

Very hands on with all his projects! I looked for a long time for a artist that could do the kinda work I wanted done. I talked to over 50 tattoo artist before I found Chris. His work speaks for itself! Fire, amazing, and out of this world!

Best studio EVER. Been to several sessions with Stani, I can’t recommend him enough he is flawless in everything he does. I haven’t worked with the other artists but they are super friendly and professional and each do absolutely amazing work. JP is awesome and an animal in his work. He also runs his shop with such close care and passion. The studio is superbly clean, covid protocols are followed closely. If you want a tattoo don’t go anywhere else this studio has it all !

I’ve been coming to JP for just over a year now for my arm sleeve, and I’ve been absolutely blown away each and every time. Just when I think there’s no way he can out-do the previous tattoo design, he does it and then some. He’s a true master of his craft, and I’m beyond happy with the decision to have him be my artist when I first started looking 2 years ago (I’m also out of state). The shop is INSANELY nice too. The highest quality everything, and the absolute best artists working there. Every artist there is incredibly talented. The front desk staff are extremely nice as well. 1000/10 tattoo shop. Just got my first piece done here by Fica, and he did an amazing job. He was kind and supportive, while also have a great attention to detail. Gave clear aftercare instructions, and made sure everything was exactly where and how I wanted before we started. Hes an insanely talented artist, too. The atmosphere of the studio was also incredible.

JP Alfonso tattoo shop is the most professional tattoo shop I’ve ever been to. JP’s wife helps run the shop and you could literally eat off of the floor with how clean they keep it. All of the artists and employees are respectful and professional. JP is next level and his work speaks for itself. It might take some time to get on JP’s calendar because he’s always booked but it’s definitely worth the wait. Every single person I’ve ever referred has been blown away by the level of service they receive, this isn’t your average tattoo shop. If luxury tattoo shops were a thing, this would be the shop to go to.

Top of the Line Tattoo Studio representing a professional manner with the best atmosphere and artist. The atmosphere is very comfortable and the people working at the studio are top notch. I am getting a full sleeve and never felt better about my decision. Located in South Carolina this is the best Studio I could find for miles. Armando is the artist I worked with. Alvin is a highly talented, highly professional artist who worked with me and the ideas I had to create a piece I absolutely love. 2 full sessions and a half final touch up session later and its done and I couldnt be happier. I was nervous about starting my sleeve honestly just thinking of ideas and what i wanted for years so i finally came up with a concept and ran into Stani’s IG saw he worked at JP’s studio, who i had heard of and i have seen work that has been done by him on people I knowChecked and followed stani’s work and finally decided to go forward with it my idea. From consult( which she was open minded about a minor change in her work, which when i saw the concept was something i actually wanted and spoke to me)to finish, hard to describe in words how amazing this place is. Worth the wait list... all the artist just produce next level tattoos. Today, I scheduled an appointment with tattoo artist Khuong Thai to create a realism tattoo of my dog. Completely satisfied, my family and friends love it. The staff at JP Alfonso Studios is exceptional, from the receptionist to the other tattoo artists, they are all friendly and make me feel like everyone there is a friend. Definitely a 5-star experience.

I’ve gotten two tattoos from JP Alfonso studios, and both times it was an excellent experience. The atmosphere in the shop is so clean and orderly, and all the artists really excel at what they do. It’s one of those shops you go to and don’t have to worry about the quality, because it’ll be perfect every time. I have many more planned for this shop ☺️

I really do love this place. Berkan did my most recent tattoo and I just want to rave about him. He (and every other artist I saw) really do a phenomenal job with quality, time, and accommodation with the clients. Berkan is so kind and really works to make the client feel comfortable. He reworked a piece I had on my chest and gave me something to be proud of. Not only do I now have a gorgeous stand alone tattoo, I have a great start to a sleeve that starts on my chest. I’m so happy with the results and so excited to see what we can do.

I was tattooed by Fica. Easily the best tattoo experience I have ever had. The studio feels like a doctors office. You get a tv to yourself with movies.I got a large piece on my ribs. My artists was very accommodating of every aspect of my tattoo. We worked for DAYS on a custom piece and he never gave me the impression that what i was asking was too much.The detail on my piece was incredible. I used to look at tattoos and artists in magazines and never thought Id have a piece with that type of quality. Easily recommend.

This was my first time at JP Alfonso Studios and I doubt I’ll go anywhere else for a tattoo in the future. Khuong did a beautiful portrait of my dog and it could not be any more realistic. Chris Good is the worst tattoo artist Ive ever experienced. The most money milking slow tattoo artist Ive ever experienced. Spoke down to me and rudely during both sessions. I wanted a whole leg sleeve but was disappointed in progress after first full day session where I was charged for time where he was drawing up and printing stencilOn top of that he decided to call it quits early AFTER my paying for the fill session upfront . He charged me $2000 for what I spent $400 getting covered up and it looked 10× better. Not only is he unprofessional but when I gave him the chance to finish what he started 5 hours in I decided to end the session and never come back. Upon seeing the bad review I left him he offered a 10hr session for me to remove the post. No thanks. People need to know youre a scam artist. Photos of image, stencil and 10hr progress posted

This studio is amazing! Every artist is crazy talented. Courtnie @odd.devotion was my artist and she did my first realism piece, a barn owl. She made the entire process easy and comfortable. I definitely plan to get more work from JP Alfonso Studios.

I have found my tattoo shop! This place is absolutely amazing; the atmosphere and staff. April is working on my sleeve, 1 more session to go and I’m in love. She is super sweet, fun and professional. She made sure I was comfortable the whole time every session. She listened to what I wanted and worked with me. I couldn’t have pictured a better tattoo! They take care of you. JP, the owner walks around, greets everyone at each station, looks at the work and compliments the artist and ask the clients how they are doing and if they need anything. This is impeccable service. Everyone goes above and beyond, you can tell safety and client satisfaction is their focus. I’m so happy I found April and JP Alfonso studio!

I have been following this place for years and have always wanted to get some work done here and when the opportunity arose I jumped on it. I worked hand in hand with FICA who was amazing to work with. Due to living out of the state he was in great communication back and forth. I just sent him pictures of what I wanted included in the photo and what he came up with was more than I could imagine. And the experience and the final piece was amazing. I would definitely be back and work with FICA again.

JP created an absolutely beautiful silverback gorilla half-sleeve on my shoulder and arm last week. His attention to detail and highlighting was impeccable. Shading was truly amazing. The ENTIRE experience with JP Alfonso Studios was top notch and very professional. Everyone there was friendly and encouraged each others artistry. By far the best tattoo experience I’ve ever had! I’ve had two sessions with JP and finishing the sleeve in 2 weeks..I absolutely can’t wait! I CONSTANTLY get compliments on my half sleeve done by Taro!!! I still have a final touch up session to go, but to say Im obsessed with my piece would be an understatement. Ive driven 2.5+ hours over to the studio multiple times because its WORTH it. Taro is a talented artist and such a cool guy. I know my floral half sleeve isnt his comfort zone but I wanted him for the realism he brings to his work. I wanted it to look like you could pick the flowers off my arm...and he nailed it! This is not my first tattoo but my first multiple session tattoo and my first color tattoo and I have been so impressed by the artistry and professionalism displayed by all the artists here. The collaborative vibe is superior to the competitive vibe Ive experienced at other shops. All the artists really encourage each other in their craft and it shows. Beyond that, the front staff are always so pleasant and professional and the place is immaculately clean. Drinks, food, Netflix all while you sit. HIGHLY recommend. In fact Ive got my next piece lined up with April.

Been working with Fica and the JP crew for a few weeks now and bar none one of the best overall experiences I have had.The communication and collaborative process, which for me, is one of the most important parts of committing to the actual tattoo, was absolute professional and mindful to my wants and what would actually work.Fica worked with me for two weeks with several variations, designs, and drafts just to finalize the line work. If I asked. He delivered. He also reined me in as well. Much respect to Fica. Hell he even bought me lunch today. Just showed me a menu and said pick something. Seriously this dudes fire🔥🔥The rest of the crew are amazing people too. They are generally interested in your concepts and designs.These guys are worth your time. Period.

JP Alphonso Studios was recommended to me by a trusted friend, but since it was my first tattoo, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The receptionists are very professional, polite, prompt and full of information, and that made a good first impression.I arrived yesterday to an attractively appointed studio that is cleaner than most medical offices. All the people were pleasant and the energy is calm. They all seem to enjoy what they do.My artist is Drew and he’s fantastic! His design is way better than what I submitted as a guide. Several of my friends have told me, “Your tattoo is so YOU,” so it’s fair to say that Drew is pretty intuitive. I suspect all the artists are.I must add that I was very surprised at how little getting a tattoo hurt. If pain is holding you back, let that go.I very enthusiastically recommend JP Alphonso Studios. You will not be disappointed.

It took me forever to decide who I wanted to create a floral half sleeve for me (and spend 8 hours with for the first session) and I am so glad I chose April. Went in there just to get a couple of my kids names tattooed by JP. Shop was absolutely gorgeous. I just asked for a couple of names & he took it to the next level, beyond that. My recent experiences at JP Alfonso Studios were amazing! I had been looking for a cosmetic tattoo artist who could do both lip blushing and eyebrows and there I found Stephanie Merritt. I felt a little apprehensive about going to a tattoo shop for beauty enhancements but was pleasantly surprised with the clean, comfortable spa like atmosphere of the facility. The staff was very professional and looked out for my comfort. Stephanie did an amazing job on my lips and eyebrows and I feel years younger! I will happily return for any touchups that may be needed along the way, and if I should ever decide to get a tattoo there is no other place I would trust. Ever since I found this studio online I knew I wanted it to be the place I would have most of my body tattooed . I made a consultation with JP and upon arriving for it I never looked back. Every artist is extremely talented and inviting to speak too. I have been through 11 sessions in a year with JP and one of my favorite parts is coming in and speaking with the other artists and them showing off the work they are doing. I can’t imagine going anywhere else in the south for a tattoo. From the different refreshments to sharing lunch with them it’s always a great and clean environment.

The shop is designed like a high-end spa and feels cleaner than most doctor’s offices.The environment is immaculate, but the artists are even more impressive. I couldn’t have been more satisfied with my tattoo! Carlos Peralta took my ideas and transformed them into a work of art I’ll cherish always. I had researched JP Alfonso studios and their artists for months before i committed to getting my first tattoo after my wife stumbled across them. And for work that lasts a lifetime, i wanted the best even if it meant a 6 hr drive to Atlanta from Louisville, KY to get him. I’m already thinking of my next one, and I’ll be making another trek down to see Carlos when the time arises.The whole operation at JP Alfonso Studios is seamless. First off the studio looks more like an out patient surgery center than a tattoo studio. It’s clean, with stacked stone walls, comfortable seats, granite counter tops, and flat screen TVs with movies at your fingertips. They had lunch catered in for me and really made the 8 hour session as smooth as possible. All of the staff was extremely friendly, and really seem more like family than co-workers. Thank you for the amazing art!

Okay first of all, the studio is gorgeous! Totally wasn’t expecting it to look like a spa, even in the tattoo area. Everyone is very nice and professional. Went to Stephanie for a lip blushing session and back for the touch up session. Stephanie is super sweet and very thorough with the procedure. She keeps you informed throughout on what she’s doing and numbs the lips, so it’s is not painful or uncomfortable at all. Her work is amazing! I’m very happy with the results and that I don’t have to worry about lip lining anymore. Just put on some gloss and go!

I had my tattoo done my Taro. He was so professional, organized and very detailed. I went in for a consult first then 2 weeks later met with him to see what he had designed for me. It definitely exceeded my expectations. The shop is super clean and gives a spa like feeling. The day of the tattoo I was there from 11-7 for a piece I had done on my arm. (They even ordered lunch for the clients). They also have large TVs on the wall to watch movies while you’re there. I can’t thank Taro enough for the amazing piece he did for me and I’ll definitely be going back for all future tattoos. Highly recommend this shop.

I was interested in getting a tattoo done by Taro, so I sent an email to discuss details. He had me come in to the shop for a consultation, where he took my idea and brought it to life! The initial sketch was beyond my expectations, and I was so excited to come in for the piece. I had to reschedule and had no trouble with that at all!Taro is a pleasure to work with, hes very kind and professional! My, oh my....where do I even start? If I could rate 10 starts I would!!! My husband and I moved to Atlanta about two years ago and I had no idea where to start when looking for a new artist. I was referred to April by my nail technician because of her floral work (I wanted to complete a floral sleeve on my left arm). I was able to get in for a consultation pretty quickly and April was SO NICE and really worked with me to understand my vision and overall outcome. Fast forward to 2020 and I have now had THREE FULL SESSIONS with April and WOW...NO WORDS! Im kind of upset that Im writing this from my work computer because I dont have any pictures to upload but my left arm is now a floral work of art! EVERYTHING about JP Alfonso Studios is TOP NOTCH. From the moment you walk in you are greeted by their friendly receptionists, the studio is THE CLEANEST I have ever been in, all the artists are super friendly and complementing the work of others, huge flat screen TVs to keep you busy during your appointment but the cherry on top is Aprils attention to detail! She goes out of her way to make sure you are comfortable throughout your entire session. The detail in her tattoos is incredible and I do not go ANYWHERE without getting stopped about my tattoos. The studio is incredible clean and everyone there is super kind and professional. The COVID-19 regulations they have in place are great.April did a large watercolor tattoo on my thigh and it is stunning. She is insanely talented and super fun to work with. I got tattooed by David Staniforth and not only was he an awesome dude to work with, he also gave me the best tattoo I could have ever asked for. This studio and my artist blew me away. I was getting a portrait done as a memorial, so naturally I was very picky on who I wanted to do it. On the recommendation of a friend I found them and I knew right then I wanted someone who worked here to do it. The shop recommended Carlos. He was such a pleasure to work with. He was genuinely excited to do it and the portrait looks exactly like my grandfather. Carlos you’re so awesome! I could go on and on about how great they are. But if you have a tattoo that is important to you come to this place. Their prices are worth the work they do.

JP Alfonso studios was extremely clean and professional. I went to see Stephanie Merritt who did my microblading combo brows and permanent lip blushing. Ive never had a tattoo or done anything like this before and Stephanie was super helpful. She explained the whole process, used numbing cream to keep me comfortable and let me choose shades that were specifically designed for me! She sent me photos of the final results and and checked in to make sure I was following the care instructions she sent. The shop had a sophisticated atmosphere so I didnt feel uncomfortable getting my permanent makeup while others were in there getting tattooed. Also spaced out and safe during covid. I would highly recommend!

JP Alfonso Studios is a very clean and professional establishment . I highly recommend seeing Stephanie Jade for cosmetic tattoos. I had her do microblading for my brows and she also did lip blushing. Stephanie is amazing, super sweet, and answered all my questions. I contacted her right after my first brow session with questions and she responded quickly. My brows and lips have turned out perfectly!! No more coloring in my completely blonde and transparent brows to give my eyes definition!!! I am thrilled! JP Alfonso Studios is very clean and modern. I have multiple tattoos and have been in a lot of shops and was very impressed. Everyone there was friendly. Even though I am done with work by Stephanie for a long while, I look forward to returning to the shop for further tattoo work soon!! I highly recommend Stephanie!!

My husband and I both were tattooed at this shop the other day. The amazingly talented April designed a beautiful thigh piece for me while Carlos worked on my husbands half sleeve. Both artists were exceptional as were every other artist working that day. The shop was nice and clean as well-- great environment to hang out all day and leave with a custom work of permanent art! I had a wonderful experience here! The atmosphere was clean and comfortable and all the staff was very friendly. Alvin did an AMAZING job with my tattoo. He did a very thorough consultation with me to make sure everything was exactly what I wanted down to every detail. He also came up with a concept that was better than I could have imagined. I had such an amazing experience with Stephanie Jade! I got my eyebrows microbladed and powdered for a full fluffy look, and she is an absolute rock star! So sweet, professional, and knows exactly what will look great for your face structure and hair color. Mine look totally natural! But what’s even more amazing is that she made my features so much more symmetrical, it’s an insane difference. I was always so self conscious about not wearing makeup before because my eyebrows were terrible. Now I feel totally comfortable without anything on my face! Thank you Stephanie!! The studio itself is one of the best ones I’ve ever seen- so clean, beautifully decorated, and 100% unique. You gotta try this place out!!

This is easily the fanciest and cleanest tattoo parlor Ive ever seen/been in. Most places have a kind of grungy 90s vibe to them, which is fine if thats what the owners want, but this place is on a whole other level. You walk in and it just looks like a hair salon or massage parlor, impeccably clean, orderly, relaxing, etc.Staff was all very friendly, even offering drink service from when I sat down to wait for the artist, just before she got started, and after she finished.Will definitely be returning the next time I have that itch for another tattoo.

My experience at Jp Alfonso studios was exceptional !! It is a very clean studio and they make you feel very comfortable right from the second you walk in. STANI was my artist and words can’t describe how happy I am with the work he has done so far on my full sleeve ! This guy is a top notch class act artist!! If 6 stars were only possible...From my consultation to the finished product, the service I received was nothing short of spectacular. JP took care of me personally. This man puts the ARTIST in tattoo artist. From his recommendations for my concept to his methodical execution, JP was outstanding and made me feel welcome and warm. I first noticed that the space was extremely clean. When I came for my consultation I was issued into his private room with leather couches, premium TVs, and his own personal chair. The sleeve took about 7 hours. During that time I watched three movies, and wife brought me lunch.This was the most comfortable, and best tattoo experience Ive ever received and the finished product speaks for itself. Hes my guy now and his talent is worth every penny.

Had my first session with Alvin last week. I was extremely nervous at first because I hadnt been tattooed in about 5 years, but Alvin made me feel so at home. Stephanie keeps you numbed and comfortable the whole time while working her lip magic. I am a former lipstick addict and can’t wait to enjoy my beautifully tinted lips all day, everyday! She is a true artist in the area of eyebrows and lip blushing! I have been to the studio three times now to see Stephanie, first, was for my very thin eyebrows. This was my first time to a tattoo studio and it is gorgeous! The front desk people are welcoming and very friendly. Stephanie answered every question without hesitation and I had a lot! She explained the process as she worked and hummed to the music playing. It didn’t hurt at all!! My eyebrows are even prettier after my second appointment. If you are hesitant about permanent makeup, call Stephanie! She is a talented artist and her before and after pictures are proof of her gift. 💕💞💕

I recently got my bicep tattoo at JP and my artist was Taro. I am extremely happy with the way it turned out! Taro is incredible at what he does, the shading and the details of the tattoo is perfect. I’m blown away, and I’ve been getting nothing but compliments from friends and family who see it. I just wish I had found him to start my sleeve tattoo. But for sure, I’m coming back to see Taro and finish the rest of my sleeve. Staff are very friendly, clean environment and overall high recommend.

I had a beautiful watercolor unicorn piece done by April. She is an absolutely amazing tattoo artist! And her watercolor technique is the best I have seen! Also, the studio was amazing! I had a tattoo done by David Staniforth- a large upper arm piece. I came to him with a concept and he took it and ran with it and exceeded all of my expectations! I went to JP Alfonso Studios for a lip blushing. Stephanie is awesome. She walked me through every step of the process. She’s showed me different color swatches and explained what each would look like once healed. During the tattooing, she talked to me about every step and ensured I was comfortable. Stephanie is a perfectionist and she worked nonstop until we were both satisfied with the look. I love the way my lips came out and I totally recommend Stephanie.

My best friend and I went in today to get matching tattoos. Bree Stallworth was our artist. She walked us through everything as first timers and gave great advice! She might be a new artist, but you wouldn’t know it by looking at her work. She’s extremely talented and a lot of fun to work with. She’s got some really cool available concepts. I recently just had my second and final session for my eyebrows with Stephanie and I couldn’t be happier! My first appointment was so helpful and I immediately felt like I was in the best hands. Stephanie explained to me the different techniques and what each ones purpose was. We ended up doing a combination of microblading and powdering. The thing I appreciated the most when working with Stephanie, was her investment in her clients ultimate happiness. She is 100% about the quality of her work. Amazing experience! April Ramirez creates the most beautiful body art. I had seen her work and decided I wanted to expand on the one small tattoo that I had. My belief was if I got a tattoo it it had to tell a story and I had not found a story than I wanted to tell until now. She did the most beautiful, detailed piece I could have asked for. I gave her my idea and she created the picture. The JP Alphonso studio was professional from the time I contacted them until the work was done. Extremely clean!

This was my first tattoo and it was a great experience. Sean Flood was my artist and I couldn’t be more happy with my embroidered peony tattoo! He did a great job with the color choices. Had a fun time talking music with him— it really helped distract me from pain. Highly recommend him and this studio. Everyone is friendly and helpful here.

If youre trying to decide on where to go for a tattoo, stop pondering and go here. The people at JP Alfonso Studios are excellent. I emailed with an enquiry via the online form and received a reply within a couple of hours. There was lots of easy communication through email and phone. I knew what I had to pay, roughly how long it would take, and they got me in fast and worked with my schedule even after a mixup in scheduling... within a week. Look at their website gallery, the artists are very good at what they do, the whole experience was very positive. I will be going back for every tattoo here. Alvin is very personable and makes sure you get exactly what you want. The shop almost feels like you’re walking into a spa, and they are very clean. Overall amazing first experience, where I will now be a lifelong customer.

Went in for an 8 hour session with Alvin a while back and was in awe of how clean and different this shop was from the others I had previously been to. Everything was top of the line. They even bought me lunch. As for Alvin, I just told him what I wanted and he sketched it onto my arm and blew away all expectations that I had. Im late to posting about my experiences here at the shop, but this IS the place I will continue to go to for more tattoos and 1000% suggest to others! They are super clean friendly and all around amazing! I did tons and tons of research about other places and this one was the only one I could trust and I am beyond happy about it. For a permanent piece to be put onto you, you cant just go anywhere! I had Stani and he was perfect for my tattoo and absolutely grateful how it came out!

Let me tell you, the place is the Ritz Carlton of tattoo places. Clean, great service and amazing tattoo artists. I had Taro drew me the most personal tattoo. He hit all the feels. I told him what I wanted and he came out with a masterpiece. The owners treat you like royalty and they order food for their customers to make sure they are as comfortable as possible. Thank you to all the wonderful people that work there and made my experience amazing! I will never go elsewhere.

Best tattooing experience I’ve ever had. It’s crazy clean, super Covid-conscious, the employees and artists I interacted with had a great attitude which is rare for tattoo shops, and they really put effort into making the space as comfortable as possible. Alvin did a fantastic job on my tattoo, he was really fun to talk to, and was really patient with me when I was getting squirmy lol. I’m excited to go back to finish my sleeve in 2021!

The facility was very nice and had plenty of amenities to service everyone getting tattooed. I gave it 3 stars mainly in the fact that I felt like the tattoos that I received were subpar for paying $1500 for a single session and waiting 6-8 months to get done. The tattoos that I had seen the artist do previously looked substantially better than the ones I got. I was very easy going and informed the artist that if he changed anything to make the tattoo look better than to do that. He didn’t change anything from the picture which is fine but people to think it’s a different animal and that it has pimples all over it’s face. I’m not an artist so I trusted him to do what is most appealing which I feel like he could have done a better job steering me to change some things to be better. The other one I received was very straight forward but a lot of line work. A lot of the lines are blown out and not to the standard of what was represented in previous work. The artist also gauged me a few times on that small tattoo causing some scarring in which I’ve never had happen on any other tattoo ive had ( other arm is finished and my back is finished with some other tattoos). I think the small tattoo was out of his comfort zone in which I wish he didn’t do. Great place with good artist but I think my expectations were to great. I have to look at the mistakes indefinitely. I think the artist has to much work forcing him to rush through things just to get to the next customer.

From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the aesthetic atmosphere and professionalism presented by the staff at JP Alfonso studios. When we began our appointment with Rob Berrong, we were treated to a state of the art salon set-up in a beautiful and sterile environment. Rob was able to answer our questions and delivered exactly what my husband and I were looking for in our tattoos. The entire staff had a great vibe and were very hospitable. We walked in as first-time customers and left ready to book another appointment.

The best of the best! All of the artists are extremely talented and it is the most professional studio I have ever stepped foot in (and I have 150+ hours of work)! The owners and entire staff go above and beyond. I’ve had several pieces done by Alvin Dzihic so far, as has my husband, and we will be getting lots more by him in the future! Beyond thankful for Alvin’s amazing talent, as well as the hospitality and overall experience at JP Alfonso Studios. If I could rate with more than 5 stars I absolutely would! Did two full sessions with Taro to finish off a half sleeve design on the forearm, and the overall experience was awesome! The whole process from consultation to the tattoo session, was done very smoothly and the staff at the studio were very accommodating. Every artist at the studio has super dope skills and designs. I will definitely be getting more work done with Taro in the future. If you want black and grey (or any style really), this is the place to get it!

I recently went to get a tattoo done of my pet who passed away, and I have to say that it turned out pretty freakin rad! April was the one who did my tattoo and she was very kind and helpful throughout the entire process, she always gave her professional tips/opinions as to how we could realize my idea to the fullest potential. I went to Stani (David Staniforth) with my own sketch of a concept and he really helped me turn a picture in my head into a tattoo on my arm, it was incredible. At the consultation he asked all the questions he could think of to minimize any doubt for my first tattoo and begin to finalize my sketch into a piece of art. In November I got my tattoo and I couldn’t be happier! The design was exactly what I pictured without ever being able to explain it. Where do I even begin? JP Alfonso Studios was recommended to me by a trusted, local Gwinnett business owner, and he could not have been more right. I was changing studios for the exact reasons that JP Alfonso stands out: they are professional, polite, and NOT aloof in making consultation appointments as well as following up; their prices are comparable and worth every penny; the studio itself is flawlessly pristine; and, your time isnt wasted and you arent made to feel disposable or like just another client. I have gotten 1) two tattoos with Taro and am set up for the third next month, and 2) my eyebrows bladed with Stephanie - all of the above has been FANTASTIC. I came to the shop for my first tattoo, walked into the shop and was blown away, so clean, all the artists are amazingly talented and such a cool vibe here!Alvin was my artist to start my sleeve and after 2 sessions back to back, he took my original idea and came up with something so much of a better concept than I couldve imagined, highly recommend him if you want to get something done and you wont be doing. The experience there couldnt have been better, cant wait to finish this sleeve up and get my next project going with Alvin! Definitely need to check this place out, so much amazing talent under one roof you cant go wrong here! ❤️

I just had my touch up appointment for brows. And let me tell you I am in love! Stephanie is AMAZING and the feather brow technique looks completely natural. I have already gotten so many compliments and I can not even begin to tell you how life changing this is for me on a personal level. Stephanie is a true artist. I had lip blushing done with Stephanie and I highly recommend her and the entire studio. Everyone is really friendly and Stephanie does a nice job making you feel comfortable! She is also very generous with the numbing cream 🙏. I love the outcome and how my lips look now.

Stephanie Merritt is an amazing artist. She did a great job at educating me about the process of microblading and helping me make the right decision on style & color. Chelo has been my artist for a couple sessions . This man has an incredible gift .Customer service is phenomenal. The front staff answering emails timely , making my scheduled appointments a breeze , and their humbling attitude, chelo hooking me up with lunch . These guys are amazing .

I never thought I would get a tattoo, but when my kitten passed recently, my girlfriend and I decided it was the right time for us to both memorialize him in ink. We could not have hoped for a better experience; Drew is a consummate professional, exceptionally talented, and a really nice, thoughtful person. He came up with a gorgeous design based on the pictures we sent him of our cat, and of the flowers on which he liked to roll around. The end result looks _exactly_ like our sweet boy, but more important, Drew truly captured his unique spirit.The process of getting the tattoo was a pleasure in itself; the studio is super clean, with a collegial, friendly atmosphere, and it was a plus to have a great selection of new release films available streaming on the HD monitors above the work areas. Highly recommended, and thank you for a great experience!

I have been to the shop and what can I say. Absolutely stunning facility and staff. I can here to get work done by Stani. He was kind professional and really cared about the process we went through to get my tattoo. He made sure we had ample time and more then enough options on what to get done. He treated me to lunch and was very awesome. I have had work don’t by Stani before and have always come back to him. He does an amazing job making his tattoo work look like a painting and a true piece of art. When it comes to tattooing I feel that JP Alfonso Studios is as clean, professional, legit and friendly as it gets. My experience at JP’s studio was great. From the the time I came in for my consultation then to the time my wife and I had our sessions, everything was top notch. Not to mention everyone was super friendly. I highly recommend this place and I highly recommend Stani. Probably one of the best tattoo artists around hands down. He was super patient and receptive with our ideas and molded it into a work of art with the vast knowledge and skill that he has. Everyone always asks us who did our tattoos and I always tell them about Stani. Would definitely come back to Atlanta just for him and JP’s studios.

Amazing tattoo experience every time! Alvin did an exceptional job on my arm sleeve. The interior of the shop is beautiful. You feel like you’re at a spa not a tattoo shop. Alvin is very friendly and not only does an amazing job artistically, but doesn’t take forever trying to squeeze out money. He lets you pick movies to watch while getting tattooed and always engages in good conversation. 10/10 recommend this shop and my man Alvin for your next piece

Overall i had and have a great experience with the guys at the studio, the place is super clean and they exceeded my expectations as far as being clean and careful with your body, a couple of suggestions for the potential client, 1- If getting a tattoo in a hairy area such as leg (man) or arm and so on, you get the idea, SHAVE first that would save you 15 minutes or so.2- When getting a tattoo you the client dont expect in and out job, tattoos take a long time ( mine so far 7 hours ) and so prepare yourself with food and snacks or something.Overall awesome experience, Im pretty happy with my tattoo David is doing a great job ( still working on my leg ). thanks Guys.

Stani from start to finish was able to work with my scheduling, design, and tattoo process with an incredibly high standard of talent and customer service. Amazing Family atmosphere with A+ Artists. I went to David V. He did my Owl and Woman with headdress sleeve. Everywhere I go people comment about the tat! Never felt rushed or taken advantage of the money was well worth it. I would highly recommend this place. JP AND David are the best Ive seen in the Atlanta area.I originally heard of this place from my friend Matt who got an awesome Zeus clock sleeve and I checked them out on Instagram.They even fed me lol. First day I had chick fil a next day pizza. Not that they do this for everybody I dont know but family feeling again was there.The whole time I was being tatted was comfortable. The studio is immaculate and clean looking. I had to sit for a while 10 plus hours and I just sat back and watched a movies of my choosing!David was very kind and considerate and worked his ass off on the tattoo. Im a big dude about 6 foot 225 and he even stayed one night past shop closing to get the job done. He charges by the session so that was awesome.

JP Alfonso studios is amazing!! The studio is top notch and super clean. Everyone there is really nice and friendly. I will never go to another studio. JP is the best artist with great work ethics around! Go see them and you won’t go anywhere else!! Good tattoos aren’t cheap and cheap tattoos aren’t good!!
