Main Street Tattoos

I stopped in to see what they could do for me. I wanted a silhouette of my 3 children. Sam suggested that the picture I had would be ok but he thought maybe think outside the box. We chatted and I decided on birth flowers. I came up with a sketch and Sam improved it.

Sam is always going above and beyond to give me what I want. He turns ideas into reality and I couldnt be happier. He runs a very clean shop as well.

What kinda tattoo shop doesnt keep any records specifically when the owner does the tattoo and told it is important that I get a copy of the pattern. Whats the point in filling out all the paperwork and do stuff on a computer with tons of memory and history but you cant manage

Great place for first timer!!! Nicole made me comfortable knowing it was my first tattoo. Everyone there was super friendly including the owner. Relaxing atmosphere and amazing talent. Ive already scheduled my next appointment.

Very friendly and welcoming as soon as you go in. Reasonable prices & clean shop.I highly recommend Nicole, she did my first tattoo so I was very nervous but she was patient with me and constantly asked if I was ok. I will be coming back for more!!

I’ve been there twice and had gotten my first tattoo there overall there very nice and made me feel comfortable and relaxed during my first my only complaint about them is from both my tattoos on a few lettering my ink did fad away so some of them didn’t look that great overall the rest look good

After shopping around for an tattoo artist my husband brought me to Main Street and introduce me to Sam. He was super friendly and price was reasonable. I showed Sam a drawing my cousin did for me. Sam did not disappoint on recreating it to a great design.This was my first tattoo so I was a bit nervous but Sam made me feel at ease and told me I was going to love the end product. He was very light handed and he did not disappoint because I absolutely love the end result! I am definitely going back!

I absolutely love Sams artwork. He is very talented. Me and my spouse have had tattoos done by him and several of my friends and we are all very satisfied with his artwork. The shop is very clean and a calming atmosphere. You wont be disappointed coming here!

Since moving to Oklahoma, Main St. Tattoo has been the only place I have trusted with my tattoos. Everyone here does fantastic work. The shop is very clean and comfortable. They value their clients and their clients happiness. I wouldnt refer you anywhere else. :) I will continue to be a regular here for a long time.

Sam is very responsive to Facebook messages and does great work! His prices are reasonable, and he is good about advising about tattoo placement and size. He has done 5 tattoos for me now and I am happy with each of them. He designed one tattoo for me based on a few images I gave him and created something entirely new and lovely that incorporated a previous tattoo I had (that he had also done). He is the only artist I use now, and I highly recommend him.

Sean Braden at Main St. Tattoo is an excellent artist, very professional and accommodating. Had a cover up done by him and couldnt be happier with the results. After the cover I immediately went back and got more work done. The shop itself is very clean and the other artists that I have met there are nice and dont seem to mind answering questions if you have any. I highly recommend Sean and M.S.T. to anyone looking to get clean, quality work at a price competitive with any other shop in Norman.

Sam did a side tattoo of mine a few years back, and i was really impressed with it! Since then, my husband, mother in-law, and sister in law have gotten their work done by him or someone in his shop. His shop is very clean and everyone there was incredibly friendly. Won’t go anywhere else!

I got my 2nd tattoo by Mr. Flash! I love the work he did! Both of my tattoos are memorial tattoos and he took my ideas and brought them to life. They are so special to me. Mr. Flash is awesome and so is the shop. I wouldn’t go anywhere else nor would I have anyone else tattoo me. Mr. Sam was really nice too! I felt comfortable there, clean, great work, a nice owner and an amazing artist! I totally recommend Main Street Tattoos! Mr. Flash, thank you once again!!!

The Vibe and positive energy of this place is outstanding. Immediately you feel welcome and appreciated from the time you walk in until you leave. To me this is the most important part of a business..customer appreciation. The tattooer and owner completely kept me involved in the design process, making sure this is how I wanted it to look.This place is clean, professional, courteous and respectful towards you as a customer.for now on, this is where Im going to my ink-work done..thanks guys..

I have been going to Sam for 5+ years. I adore him, his shop, his artists, his style and values! I will always be a return client and will always recommend the man that gave me the best Micheal Myers tattoo I have ever seen!

Just want to make a correction on one of my comments. Sam has done three tattoos for me now. I forgot about the tattoo he placed on my ankle. All three he has done for me are amazing. The owner Sam has done my last two tattoos. He is very kind and professional. His work is absolutely amazing. The most recent tattoo Sam did for me was the head face and chest of a black Labrador retriever. I am visually impaired and I use a seeing-eye dog. My first one passed away a little over a year ago. He was a black Labrador and that is why I had that tattoo done. I explained the story to Sam how much I miss the dog and with the tattoo would mean to me. He gave me an amazing deal on the intricate work he did on the tattoo. He explained to me that tattoos like that start at $300 and just go up from there. He only charged me $250. Perhaps my story about my first guide dog being such a wonderful companion drove him to give me a good deal. He did not tell me that but that is just my guess. Also, the facility is kept in immaculate condition. Sam did a great job keeping the area I was getting the tattoo place clean and also keeping himself clean by changing his gloves at least twice during my two hour setting. I constantly get compliments on how wonderful my latest tattoo looks. I wanted something to remember my first guy dog by and Sam absolutely nailed it.

I went to a few different tattoo shops to compare prices, and these guys were definitely the most welcoming and friendliest, and had the best price option. My tattoo looks amazing! Very sanitary. 10/10 recommend, don’t get your tattoo anywhere else.

My husband and I have both got tattoos at main street tattoo. We have both been very happy with our tattoos! Jessi Walden has done all of my tattoos and has also done a few on my husband and she does really great work! We have never had any problems with our tattoos! I will never go to anybody else to do tattoos for me because I have loved every tattoo Jessi has done for me and she comes up with the best ideas for a tattoo! I will be returning there very soon for her to give me some more tattoos! If you are looking for somebody and what great work done without any mistakes or problems then go to main street tattoo and ask for Jessi! Oh and let me just add that you will have everybody saying they love your tattoo! I have all three of my kids footprints with their name and birthday on my arms and I have had so many strangers asking me where I got them from and saying they really like them! Thank you Jessi for doing such great work!!!! Main street tattoo is the place to go!

Easily the best studio in the OKC Metro. The staff does excellent work, the studio is clean, and theyre all pretty friendly. Sam (owner) definitely knows his stuff and does a phenomenal job getting the artwork you want done. I recommend Main St. Tattoos everywhere I go. I wont go anywhere else!

Main Street Tattoos is the best place in Norman to get a tattoo. The artists are friendly, professional and upfront about everything to what is best for your tattoo ideas. The shop is professionally ran, and clean. I have gotten at least 12 tattoos there and they have always exceeded my expectations. Look no further for the best tattoo shop around!

Staff is friendly, the shop is clean and was the only place on Main Street that was willing to tattoo my hands. Biggest complaint and the reason why I only gave 2 stars is Sean seemed to be in a hurry and once the tattoos healed they were missing ink in quite a few places (possibly not deep enough and was apparently not filled in correctly). Once the marker ink for the outline started to fade it was pretty noticeable. Contacted him on Facebook and he wouldnt respond to my questions and I followed a very strict regimen to keep them clean, moisturized and covered. So just be aware and if someone seems a bit rushed maybe think of scheduling for a different time.

Got my first tattoo done here, a tree on the inside of my arm. The atmosphere here is super laid back and its Sam is a great guy to go to for your first tattoo. It was all done in great timing and I felt very taken care of.

Ive been to Main St. Tattoos on multiple occasions, even when it was Blue Koi. All my work has been done by Jessi and I have been completely satisfied each time. She is able to take direction and vision very well and also put her own creative spin on it. Already have my next tattoo idea and will be getting it done as soon as I can. I would recommend her to anyone that wants solid and safe work done.

I just got tattooed my Sam and I must say he is professional, and he is very very good at what he does. He pays attention to detail and communicates if an area will be a little more sensitive. Highly highly recommend

I have followed Jessi Walden from MWC all the way to this one in Norman. Thats 3 years of tattoos by Jessi. She is awesome. I give her an idea and tell her to run with it. she knows my style and she has always done an amazing job. The best part is, is that her prices are not outrageous like Mystical Illusions and others. They are not cheap either, but they are reasonable. Which why I have been tatted about 8 times or so by jessi. I have a few other tats that were done by men. And I am guessing that since she is a woman, she has a lighter touch, idduno. But her tats when healed are not raised up. She is amazing. She also can do custom work not just limited to tattoos. Just ask her. Now for the rest of the guys in the shop, I have no idea how they tattoo, but im sure Jessi wouldnt be working with them if they were bad at their skill.Overall the shop always smells nice, always clean, always inviting. The only bad thing, is the parking. But hey I guess they cant control that. Like her on fb and they sometimes have specials going on like Toys for Tats and etc. Anyways, hands down they BEST BEST BEST shop and group of artists/people I have ever been to.

Ive never had a problem with anyone at Main St. Tattoo. They were educational and told me what would look best. They are a very clean shop with a lot of talent. I suggest this place when people compliment my tattoos.

The shop has a cool vibe and all the artist cool. I drove from Tulsa to be tattooed by Sam. It was well worth my time and drive. Will definitely be going back.

The best thing about this place is they do tattoos for a Second Chance fundraiser once a year and 1/3 of the money goes to the puppies and kitties.

Go see Sam. He totally rocked out my tattoo. I had it done in Arlington and it didnt look good. Sam basically reworked it completely. Should I decide to ever get another one I would go back here.

Tanner Prat is amazing. Attention to detail, calm and collected. Just finshed line work on my second tattoo and its incredible.

He was very rude Just money hungry he told me the 19th then changed it on me then gets rude with me when I nicely tell him I had to get it done sooner. He needs to understand his job. Its not his fault though maybe just was not raised right.

From the first Time I entered Blue Koi , I was shown All the supplies which were in sterile Containers. I SHOULD KNOW WORKED IN HOSPITALS FOR 15 YEARS. The staff was friendly the work areas neat and clean , after deciding this was where I wanted to get my Tat I spoke with Kevin Brandon he suggested that I let him draw something up given my description of what I wanted rather than go through the books , I couldnt have been more happy with the results it was AMAZING exactly what I wanted and he pulled the image right out of my head , Since I have sent several of my friends to him and they have been extremely happy and impressed even my soon to be wife ( end of August) has gotten 2 from kevin and swears she will never use a different Artist (me too) he was very explicit on the care instructions to prevent infection and even did a drawing to help out my Ministry Group for our LOGO , again better than expected truly a professional shop , if something got messed up with a Tatoo from here had to be the individuals fault for improper care , Kevin is the most professional Artist I have ever met and the only one I will use
