Art In Motion is a one of a kind shop. The owner is a super chill dude with years of experience in his practice. Each artist has their own style that they have perfected and the atmosphere can only be described as calming to me. Alistair’s color work can’t be beat and Anastasia is absolutely on point with her black and grey anime style. I can honestly say the shop has become one of my favorite places to visit.

I waited months for the owner, Steve, who came highly recommended by a very good friend. I spent those months messaging Steve pretty regularly, like several times a week and he always, always, always responded to me in a timely manner (this is highly abnormal in this industry in general, and also for me personally since I tend to be a giant PIA).I gave Steve a very basic concept of what I wanted and told him to just try and create it for me. I really didnt even know what I wanted, so I was doubtful he would really be able to fully deliver something great. I still do not fully understand how Steve came up with a design better than I even envisioned in my brain, but here we are!My tattoo is not a tattoo - it is a once in a lifetime piece of permanent art that lives on my arm. I have already not only gotten compliments, I have actually had perfect strangers grab my arm on the streets and demand to know who drew this, that it almost doesnt even look real, because it is too perfect!Steve was 100000% worth the wait, and then some. Highly highly recommend Steve - a genuine talented artist and phenomenal human being. Thank you SO MUCH, Steve! You brought to life exactly what I wanted and I am just so incredibly happy!

Al did my tatto, I gave him an inspo photo on the idea I liked and wanted to get, and boy did he knock it out of the park!!! This was my 5th tattoo I have gotten (all by dofferent artist) and it is the best one yet. I will definietly be adding more disney tattoos from him and no one else!! I highlt recommend this tattoo shop and definitely ask for Al. It didnt even feel like I was there for 4 hours.

Alister did a phenomenal job bringing my scattered thoughts together to create exactly what I wanted. It turned out better than I expected. He was willing to work around my schedule and was a pleasure to talk to.

Got my first tattoo here with Alistair. He was very patient with me and calmed me down as I was nervous. The tattoo came out great and I get compliments about how great the line work is all the time. Since then Ive gone back two more times and plan on going back again. Alistair is a true pro!

I’ve gotten two tattoos here both done by Ana. She does such amazing work, is detailed, and focused when she’s tattooing. Ana is very communicative and responsive to her clients no matter what questions you have. She also enjoys anime which is a major plus, especially if you’re looking to get an anime tattoo (which will be my next one from her hopefully sooner rather than later). My friend has also gotten tattooed by Ana shortly after I did, and also had a great experience. I don’t trust anyone else to do my tattoos! 💙

I was recommended the shop and artist by two of my coworkers. I had chosen Denise who is so sweet and really great at conversation. We had planned for my tattoo 3 days later but then got hit with a major snow storm postponing it. A month later (yesterday), I went in for my appointment. It took 30-40 mins to clean from the person before me which I appreciate which shows how important cleanliness is to the shop. When I first walked in, I met a man who was literally so nice and funny (I sadly don’t know his name). This was my first tattoo and I just loved my overall experience, the vibes and the music that played. Theyre an overall amazing shop with some great artists. The price compared to other shops is reasonable too! I’m so happy with the experience and I cannot wait until I have enough money to get another!EDIT: I went back to the shop to get tattooed by Alistair since Denise left. I went in and got a great tattoo. He got me in and out as quickly as possible. He took the time to get the drawing right based on what I asked for! Im very happy with my second experience!

Excellent professional clean & filled to the brim with so many different talents! They must have a tattoo artist for every personal preference & need!!! Even though it’s a bit small or cozy, they are up-to-date on all of the most advanced & hygienic protocols, safety rules & most importantly advanced equipment. Keeping all of their clients loyal & coming back for more!!! They make you feel right at home and maintain a wonderfully pleasant & virtually pain free experience. They are extra careful before taking any permanent measures. They double & triple check everything to make sure you are absolutely satisfied before proceeding with the final step of tattooing your body! I was thrilled with my experience here so I can’t say enough about this place! Their prices are economical and honest! I loved my entire experience here❣️ Don’t get me wrong, I don’t have a lot of tattoos. Matter of fact, I only have the 1. However, after having such a wonderful experience here... I will admit to being tempted into getting another 1, simply because they have so many phenomenal artists, body art & they are all so talented! My tattoo was 26 years old...obviously, I was in need of a touch up. I’m so grateful I found “Art In Motion” this was the perfect place!!!

Absolute best places I’ve been. Went in for three sessions with Steve for my back piece.Started out with a drawing of mine (not great, I’m no artist) that I gave him, that he improved and put more detail in. We scheduled our first appointment where he did the outlining and basic shading. The entire time he was extremely informative and easy going. He answered all of my questions and showed a genuine interest in the meaning of my tattoo, using that to make it all the more better. In all three sessions we had great conversations, listened to awesome music and the time flew by. Completely clean place, and everyone is kind and down to earth. 100% recommend!

So much to say. This was possibly the most welcoming and friendly establishment I have ever had the pleasure of walking in to. My piece was done by Al. An absolute professional artist. He made a 3 hour session feel like ten minutes. Was friendly, made sure I was comfortable, we carried a very lengthy conversation. But above his amazing attitude and professional upkeep, his talent. This man has a way with a tattoo gun. Crisp, clean, beautiful art. I commend his talent, his style everything about him. Would recommend this shop 10/10. Personally I do not see me having work done anywhere else.

Had the most amazing experience ever with Ana (instagram- a.v.sketches) and she absolutely made my childhood dreams come true by tattooing me the Master Sword! Its my all time favorite tattoo and she did an amazing job. She is surely the artist to go get your next tattoo at shes amazingly talented !! Highly recommend her ✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼💖💖💖

I’d like to start by saying how warm & welcoming the environment is. I can be a bit of an introvert at times but never feel uneasy or anxious when I’m there. I have gotten two tattoos from Ana & get nothing but compliments about them. Her lines are extremely clean and her attention to detail is immaculate. She lets her work speak for her but def doesn’t mind keeping conversation while she works. I’m looking forward to working with her in the future. She’s the only person I want tattooing me at this point 🤣

This was my first tattoo, I was super scared. The person who did my tattoo was Denise. She was so caring and understanding and patient. I told her what I wanted and she did such a beautiful job. She is a terrific tattooist and very gentle. The place is very clean and everyone there is super nice. I recommend highly!! Trust them...thats the biggest obstacle to conquer.

Super clean, super professional, and super collaborative. Denise worked with my mother and I, and was extremely thorough and thoughtful throughout the whole process. We felt we received sound expertise from someone who has gone through the trials and tribulations of being tattooed themselves, and that went a long way.

I had a tattoo done here by Steve. I brought in my son for his first tat to be done. He is very educated in his art and lets you know his opinion and whether or not it will work for you. He cares about the art that he shares. Truly sincere about his work.
