NOT HAPPY AT ALL WITH MY TATTOO. OWNER BO JUST WANTS TO GET YOU IN FOR SESSIONS TO MAKE MORE MONEY. FEW TIMES WENT THERE ALL WORK IS BAD. INK IS bad quality don’t match other tattoos. Outlines are not straight. Have had many tattoos in past these are the worst. Artist always are talking it’s not very calm relaxing place. 👍

Went here as a walk-in to get a tattoo that a typical shop probably would want an appt for (it was a unique custom piece that was also a cover-up). John greeted me, looked at what I wanted and said let’s do this!! No hesitation at all. 5 hours later I had a perfect tattoo- it far outweighed my expectations. John is an extraordinary artist that is professional and works collaboratively with you. He was also a pleasure to sit with for hours (even when he is putting a needles in you for hours 🤣). We had many laughs and I will always go back to him for all my work.

Jego did an amazing job with the memorial tattoo. His attention to detail is second to none. During the session Jego was personable and professional. Highly recommend this shop.

Me and my girlfriend are visiting from London and found this shop, we called up to ask about prices and they were very reasonable for what we wanted to get. The owner, Bo was everything you want from a tattoo artist, kind, friendly, experienced and helpful. Couldn’t recommend more, will be back next time we are in LA

I had a great experience at the Electric Pen. The owner Bo has an in depth knowledge of his trade with 25 years of experience. He worked with me to design exactly what I wanted.The prices were very reasonable and his work speaks for itself. I wanted a very specific piece as a tribute to a friend who passed and is derived from a classic film. He did some research and drew up exactly what I wanted on spot. His shop is clean and reflects a passion for his trade. I would recommend him to anyone.

Let me start by saying Hanna is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Its my third time coming to Hanna for piercings and she never fails to satisfy 😌 with her amazing service. So far I have gotten 8 piercings with Hanna and definitely more to come in the near future. I always DM her before stopping by the shop and she replies quickly. She is the BEST! She is very nice, friendly, and fast. She makes you feel very comfortable and she is very professional. I only trust Hana for any piercings I want to get. Wouldnt go to anyone else besides Hanna. Trust me you will not regret getting work done by Hanna. I am so thankful to have found Hanna. 😊 thank you so much Hanna!

Went for a piercing yesterday. Called the shop to make sure I could walk in - arrived, was taken right away. Everyone was masked up. Shop looked clean. Hannah was very kind, quick, efficient, and the ear lobe piercings were painless. Really enjoyed the experience! She left me with her card in case I had any follow up questions. I highly recommend going here for some piercings! Great price too - I ended up with 3 lobe piercings w/ standard jewelry for $80.

I have been getting tattooed by Bo at Electric Pen for some time now and I am SO happy I found this shop! Everyone is super chill, the tattoos I have seen have all been clean and super dope and Bo himself is a really cool guy. He takes his time making sure the design looks perfect, is placed well and has really good ideas and suggestions as well! And, FOR ONCE IN LA, the prices are super fair as well.

The piercing lady is an expert at what she does. She advised me never to use guns for my piercings. My nose was infected and she pulled the pin out without any pain

I was nervous about getting more piercings in my ears, but I had always wanted them. This visit was especially special because not that long ago I was in a very dark place. It was the worst I had ever been. I knew how much it was going to hurt, but I made it through 8 piercings and I survived. Just like I survived life. Hanna was really chill, which made me feel calm. She did such great job with making it as painless as possible. I highly recommend her! If I could give her 10 stars, I would.

Took my sister in law to get a nose piercing and let me just say, they are RUDE! No greeting upon entrance or anything, 1. 2? My sister in law was beyond nervous so Im standing there giving her tips trying to keep her calm and the girl doing the piercing goes I can tell her that, Im going to tell her how to breathe. Shes pregnant, not an excuse to be rude to clients. If youre having a bad day, sorry but dont be rude. Plus it is VERY overpriced. I originally paid $30 for my nose piercing (my place is too far from her otherwise I wouldve GLADLY gone there instead) and they charged her $50! Would not recommend their services. Oh! And they dont let you record (for those of you who like recording your friends getting pierced). What do they have to hide? Anyway, hope this review helps you make a choice on where NOT to go! If I can give 0 stars I wouldve.

My sister was so excited to get a nose piercing and after reading all the reviews, we were looking forward to Hanna’s “calm and nice” demeanor. We showed up at exactly 12 PM, our appointment time, and Hanna was not there yet. My family and I sat and waited there until she showed up. My sister is a minor and my mother was not allowed to come hold her hand or stand next to her for her piercing. My brother then wanted to get his ears pierced. Hanna was short tempered and was irritated when asked to fix the placement. He became very anxious after she said she was “going to guess for the placement on the other ear”. The piercings came out fine, but Hanna’s rude and short responses put us off completely. I do not know if we caught her on a bad day, but no matter what, that’s not how you treat paying customers. On top of all of that, he was not told how to take care of the piercings or how long the healing process was. Overall, Hanna was very different then how she was portrayed on the reviews. Would not recommend coming here for a piercing.

I walked in to ask a Question about a sleeve that I really wanted. I briefly spoke with Bo one of the tattoo artist there for my sleeve tattoo. He told me to call him and set up an appointment to get my sleeve done that we discussed. He canceled appointments on me and did not return my calls, It was damn near impossible to set up an appointment with this man, or get any work done. I never got it done and was very upset about the whole experience. I am now in communication with other tattoo parlors that are now working on my sleeve the correct and professional way.

I had the pleasure of getting a tattoo at this place by an artist named Icer and it was a great experience. He was very professional and the tattoo I walked out with was amazing, very realistic and exactly what I asked for. Do not hesitate coming to this establishment and ask for him!

Came in for a tatoo with Jay. He was very professional, precise and honest which was great. You could tell that he genuinely cared about his product and wants his clients to be happy with what they get. I would very highly recommend him to anyone looking to get some ink done.

I went to here to get 2 small finger tattoos right before covid by heather and not long after they started fading. Then covid happened so the tattoo shops were closed. I’ve called back multiple times over the past year to get my free touch up and even after talking to someone at the shop about 6 months ago saying it would get done, I never was reached out to again. Even after I texted and called the number I was given. I called again today to see if they would honor my free touch up but now heather doesn’t work there so I would have to pay another artist to do the work. I didn’t go to the shop for heather. I don’t know heather. I went to a tattoo shop, a company, a business. That’s who should honor my free touch up, not heather specifically. Especially since the reason I never got it in the first place was dude to covid. I just wanted my touch up but it’s fine, I’ll go to a better shop and pay them instead of paying your sorry employees. 10 minutes coulda saved you from a 1 star review. Oh well.

I found this shop several years ago driving down the street went in met Bo and we hit it off right away been going to him for several years now he has redone several of my older tattoos and has done many new ones he has lots of great ideas and im very happy with his work....still have lots of tattoos to get id recommend him hands down. !!! Great shop great atmosphere

I had my appointment with Angel. I’ve been contacting the shop and him for months to get my now very faded tattoos retouched. Extremely upset with their unprofessionalism.
