Ive had the pleasure of getting multiple tattoos from Ceasar, and each one has exceeded my expectations. His attention to detail, creativity, and passion for his craft are evident in every stitch. Hes constantly pushing himself to improve, and it shows in the quality of his work. But its not just Ceasar whos impressive - every other artist at the shop is equally talented and professional. From the moment you walk in, youre treated like family by the entire team. Theyre all knowledgeable, friendly, and dedicated to making sure you leave with a tattoo that exceeds your expectations. I have been wanting to get a tattoo from Daryle for awhile. I saw that Dark Tide had recently won best tattoo studio in Palm Beach County and that made me want to get my tattoo there even more!The studio is very welcoming and the staff is amazing. Daryle took the time to help me figure out what size would work best for my tattoo and was quick and efficient. I am madly in love with my tattoos that I got. Exactly what you want in your local tattoo experience. Very clean shop, very clean work, and artists that immerse themselves into the project. In fact I have zero artistic talent, so little that when god said art, i thought he said fart and got out of the line. All I knew was i wanted vibrant, weird, one of a kind. No words to describe it.

This shop is so nice and clean and has great vibes! But the best part by far is Ana - incredible work and an even better attitude! Max was awesome. Super punctual, clean, steady hand, and all around great guy to work with. He listened to what I was trying to describe and was able to design something better than I could have imagined. Im all healed up now, but the linework is still super tight, and the shading has held its color. Max does amazing work with color, but I asked him for black and white font, and he nailed it. Hes a really well rounded artist.The shop itself is chill, very well organized, clean, and very welcoming. Everybody was super helpful, and the lounge area felt more like a living room than a waiting room.

Went and got my sixth tattoo from Ana at Dark Tide Tattoos last Friday. It was a piece in rememberance of my Grandma. She was so professional and sweet (as always!) she always offers multiple different sizes and options for the stencil and has no problem making changes. She doesnt make you feel rushed and checks on you throughout the tattoo. She has always done a beautiful job and captured exactly what I wanted. Couldnt be happier to have found a NICE, beyond talented artist!

Ana gave me an amazing first experience at Dark Tide. Everyone in the shop is super sweet, should you need anything they will provide. And I really really appreciate the passion put into the ink, the detail that Ana gave my mangrove tree will always be remembered. I get so many comments on the texture and the white highlights that she included. Thank you Ana, Thank you Dark Tide. I’ll be back, I love my tattoo.

Daryle is absolutely AMAZING! she takes the most amazing care of me and my girls every time we go. i have gotten the most beautiful tattoos done by her. came in wanting one left with 3.

Normally I dont like leaving negative reviews. Im perfectly fine with taking my business elsewhere, but I felt like the way I was treated by a tattoo artist that works at that shop was totally unprofessional. After months of planning and searching for the right artist that I felt would be able to carry out my project. I was recommended to this shop by a friend and reviewed the artist profile to make sure that I was comfortable with their work. I reached to the artist and that had agreed to work on my project and stated that they would be able to complete with no issue. After vetting a few other tattoo artists, I decided to go with this artist at Dark Tide Tattoos and submitted my deposit as requested just a week after our initial consultation. We agreed upon an appointment of June 15th @12 noon, which gave the artist several weeks to work on my project prior to my appointment. From the time of the deposit, I did not receive any indication from the artist that there were any issues. So, the day of my appointment, a little more than an hour before my appointment time, I received a text from the artist stating that they were not confident that they would be able to pull of the design the way that I wanted and that they would be able to work on my project. Yes, after several weeks of preparation and a deposit that was received, I did not receive this text until an hour prior to my appointment. I dont care about them not being able to do it but couldnt you have told me this initially or not accept the project to begin with? Then on top of that, they tried to push me off on another artist and like I just didnt do months of research because Im about to have something permanently tattooed on my body, that I was just cool with switching up like that. In my opinion, this is a very unprofessional establishment and Im actually glad I ended up not working with this shop. I dont want to call the artist out, but I will be more than will provide the text communication and the timeline to confirm my interaction with this business.

This is hands down my favorite shop where I’ve been tattooed. Dan Gilbert goes above and beyond to make his clients feel safe, comfortable, and thrilled about the work they leave with. I’ve had two sessions on a full color sleeve he started for me, and I look forward to the next sessions so much because I know he is going to give me something that I love. He’s also done multiple black and grey tattoos for my husband which he is thrilled with as well. I can’t say enough about him and the shop.

I havent gotten a tattoo in over 12 years so I was a little nervous, but Brittney put me at ease right away. She is an incredible artist and the detail in her work is amazing! All my friends and coworkers love it too. I cant wait to go back and get more!!!

Everyone there is incredibly talented, knowledgeable, and most importantly kind and open. I have been getting tattooed by Ana for over a year now and she is the most amazing artist. I recently had a silhouette of an FA-18 done on my calf. This was a very detailed design and Cheetah was my artist. He did an awesome job. The lines are all crisp and clean. His area was clean and organized and we had some great conversations.

Originally, I left no description to my review. After receiving a response from the business, I decided to update this review.I have never, ever left a review on a business before, but I felt like it was warranted in this situation.I had picked out an artist I thought I would be comfortable with, and she initially did a great job responding to my emails and inquiries, which I definitely appreciated. However, when it came time to put down the deposit, things began to get a bit sketchy. She sent me an email requesting the deposit, and I responded that same day asking for a quote of the entire tattoo. The deposit is $100, but how much more would I be spending when I got the tattoo done? Personally, I don’t want to spend money on something unless I know the price (or at least an estimate of the price). I’ve never gotten a tattoo before so I assumed that was normal—requesting a quote beforehand. After 4 days of no response, I sent a follow up email. There was no response again, so I ended up calling the establishment. The person I talked to on the phone was nice and gave me a quote, which I was fine with. He then set me up in the system, which left me confused. If that’s what was supposed to be done, then why didn’t the artist I was speaking to do it earlier when we had scheduled/attempted to schedule the appointment? It was a bit weird, but I gave them the deposit and brushed it off. People forget to answer emails sometimes, things happen. However, a few days later (Tuesday) , I received a text from my artist stating she’d be going out of town during the time she was supposed to tattoo me (Friday). How do you find out you’re leaving town 3 days before? This is something that has never happened to me or anyone I know. She did offer to reschedule or give me to another artist, but I didn’t feel comfortable with that and kindly requested my deposit back, stating that this and the earlier trouble I had reaching her were the reasons why. She initially REFUSED to give me my deposit, stating that she had already drawn up a sketch and answered my emails. I had no idea she drew a sketch, as I wasn’t told this previously and hadn’t seen it. I sent her a screenshot of her not responding to my emails, and stated that to get the information I was seeking, I ended up having to call the establishment. She then said that typically, they don’t quote people until they know the exact size of the tattoo/how the placement plays out in person. She also said that she responds to her emails once a week. Both of these things are fine, but they weren’t communicated to me in advance. In fact, the man I spoke to on the phone had no problems with providing me a quote. How are we supposed to have a conversation about the tattoo when you only answer your emails once a week (which hadn’t been the case in our earlier email conversations)? It honestly felt like I was being fed excuses instead of just saying something along the lines of “Sorry about that, I’ve had a really busy week!” As a first timer, being safe and having all the information is extremely important to me. She did end up (seemingly reluctantly) giving me my deposit back, and stated she believes she tried explaining as much as she could, which I don’t understand how she could think that if I still had several clear questions, and she stated in her last email to me that I was free to ask any other questions I had. Personally, I just felt like this whole situation (including their response to my initial review) was very unprofessional. Why should I have to fight for my deposit? Nothing was signed, no policies were stated, and I didn’t pull out for no reason. Again, I’m usually fine to brush off small mistakes, but this whole situation made me uncomfortable and I’m beyond glad I pulled out. I, too, hope I “get the tattoo I deserve”.

We got the silliest, most fun tattoos today and Frank was amazing! Super clean shop and everyone makes you feel completely at ease and relaxed. Definitely coming back again! xoxogossipgirl

Frank is absolutely the best tattoo artist I’ve had. I now have 11 tattoos and have been to four artists. He is, by far, the best. I also took my daughter and my daughter-in-law to him. She is now taking her sister to him. Absolutely THE BEST! He takes the time to listen and carefully draw up what we ask. He is also very sensitive to the needs of his clients. My daughter -in- law was getting one with the initials of the baby she lost. He was AMAZING!

I scheduled my first tattoo with Dark Tide and had my appointment yesterday 9/6/22. I had looked through all of the social medias and websites for tattoo shops in my area and Dark Tide stood out. It’s so clean and open. They were also super responsive and helpful when I reached out. Brittney Lincoln also stood out to me. And she was just perfect. It was a small paw print tattoo which she did so efficiently. I even got a little lightheaded in the middle from being so nervous for my first one I think and she got me water and a candy and was so calming and understanding. I love how it came out and it means so much to me! Looks just like the reference I gave her and asked her to clean up. I would definitely go back to her and the shop for any of my future tattoo wants and highly recommend her!

I had scheduled my tattoo with Skylar about 3 months in advance, she was super friendly and responsive from the start. She communicated well with me and got excited with me about what I wanted to do. Even after my appointment, I reached out to her with a few questions and she was still very responsive and friendly. This was my second tattoo, and WAY bigger than my first one. When I got there I was super nervous but a few artists said hi with a smile and Skylar came over all super excited about my tattoo and introduced herself. I instantly felt more comfortable! At the start, we finalized placement and size and briefly discussed coloring. I mentioned I was nervous about the pain and she was great about being positive and letting me know if I needed a break at any time it was totally fine. She even offered to do lining and shading in two separate sessions if that made me more comfortable, but I decided I’d do it all in one. She walked me through everything and reassured me that I was doing great throughout our time. Her work is so vibrant and whimsical, she is very detail-oriented and very good at what she does, and you can tell she really loves her work! And she is amazing with her shading! All in all I really loved my experience, even the price was fair. I definitely recommend the shop & I definitely recommend Skylar’s work. Thanks again Skylar!! I have a feeling I’ll be sending some more people your way 🙂🙂

Dark Tide Tattoos is an awesome artist owned shop!Everyone there is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive as soon as you walk through the door.I have had three tattoos done by Dan Gilbert (all parts of my arm sleeve) - all three have been at different shops. Dark Tide is by FAR my favorite!The inside is immaculately clean and awesome design. Each artist is well spaced out so you don’t feel like you’re super close to someone else also getting tattooed.The shop is so chill, we even group ordered lunch! Cant beat that!All walk-ins and appointments were attended too in a quick manner. When there wasn’t someone at the front desk everyone was busy with drawing and designing their next piece. You can tell the pride they take in their work.HIGHLY recommend this shop if you want amazing work done in an awesome shop.

Got tattooed twice at Dark Tide, both times by Daryle. Both times she killed it! The artists at Dark Tide are masters at what they do. The atmosphere is perfect, spacious with great music and great customer service. Perfect place for someone getting their first tattoo and for someone getting their 10th. This is a great shop! I called early on a Saturday and asked if they allowed walk-ins. The girl on the phone was super nice and told me which artists were available at the moment. I went in later that day and just wanted a small piece. Cheetah was available and he was great, drew up what I wanted within 20 minutes and I felt very comfortable asking him to modify the design a little. Of course my tattoo was flawless, Everyone was professional, the shop was spotless, the pricing was reasonable, and I felt very comfortable there. I’ll definitely be back!

Dark Tide is awesome! Megan is my artist and shes been amazing on my journey to becoming a living canvas lol. Shes very attentive and professional, her work is beautiful and personal. The shirts are super comfy too, make sure to grab one. They dont shrink in the wash!

I had a great experience here! My tattoo was done by Skylar. I arrived a few minutes earlier and she was ready! Prep time was super quick and she got to tattooing right away. I felt very safe and relaxed with her. We had a good chat as well, great communication on what colors to use and very knowledgeable as well. Not to mention shes an incredible artist. First time I’ve ever been to this tattoo shop, I attended a tattoo flash Fundraiser for Brandon and Oliver in memory of the beloved late Kim. I chose the Boba Milk Tea as my tattoo from the flash sheet. I was lucky enough to get tattooed by Frank and I love what he did. I gave him pretty much free rein with choosing the colors and he did an awesome job. Everyone loves this tattoo and think it’s super cute. The tattoo shop is very nice and open inside, has a great atmosphere and very clean. I would highly recommend this tattoo shop.

From initial email to execution of my tattoo, this was by far my best experience with a tattoo shop. Daryle was so kind and attentive, she picked up on the most important little details when I was explaining my tattoo (I got an animal piece dedicated to my kids) and made a design better than I couldve ever imagined. During my session everyone at the shop were nice and friendly, the place was clean and well maintained, and the music was top notch. Daryle took breaks for me when I needed them, explained everything as she was doing it, and checked in constantly with me to make sure I was ok and if I needed anything. This tattoo is now my favorite piece, and I cannot wait to get more done at Dark Tide.

This is by far one of the best tattoo experiences I had. I am an avid stalker of the dark Tide family on Instagram. I follow several artists as well as the shop page. One day Brittany Lincoln posted a flash piece I was interested in. Unfortunately for me It had already been taken. She emailed me saying she could definitely draw me something similar and I agreed. She sent me the most beautiful piece I could imagine, pretty similar to The Flash Id seen on her post. We set up a time and day. When the time came, Britney was not feeling well and we rescheduled for soon after. What came next was nothing short of amazing. I entered into one of the cleanest shops Ive ever been to. Everyone there was so kind and welcoming. I felt at ease immediately. Brittany has some of the cleanest lines I have ever had on a tattoo. I have plans to come back, we have a chest piece in the works! I cannot wait to be a repeat customer! I would recommend this place to my grandmother it was that good.

I have gotten about 2 tattoos and currently on a cover-up done by Derich. He is a phenomenal artist who has blown me away multiple times. I look forward to getting my entire body done by him in the years to come.The shop is tastefully design and people there are so friendly.

Very nice shop! I got tattooed by Skylar and I’m very happy with my tattoo. She designed the perfect tattoo for me and I’ve gotten so many compliments on it. I was looking to finish or better yet bring a hand tattoo together with a very awkward space! He took pictures and I told him what I wanted. 2 words. DANIEL. GILBERT.!!!! He has made all of my tattoo expectations a reality. He has a very comforting demeanor when tattooing you, always checking to make sure I was ok throughout the process! My sister got her beautiful moon phases on her arm and the tattoo artist did it skillfully as well as more quickly than I anticipated. Great place. My ink came out unbelievably fantastic. Frank was a definite pro. My ink was important to me, and he made it look like it was just as important to him. Im sure the other artist are just as good as him, but I would definitely recommend Frank... but like I said, Im sure if hes not available, the others are just as good. Just like getting any tattoo, Ill be back very soon to finish up this round.then again for more!

Growing up in South Florida I’ve been to many many tattoo shops from Miami Dade County all the way up to Orlando, and this shop has all of the great things a tattoo shop should have... everybody is kind, the vibe is very chill, the owners are super nice and they take their time with their clients- whether they are newbies or heavily tattooed. My artist is Brittney and she is AMAZEBALLS. She’s tattooed me now 6 times, and she’s stuck with me as long as she’s doing it! All of the artists there are very talented and you won’t be disappointed. It’s clean, spacious, and all around a great shop. I drove from Broward and will continue to make the drive just to get tattooed there. They will consult with you, and take the time to make sure you’re getting what you want. Definitely check ‘em out!

Artist Brittney Lincoln put a great tatt on me as well as my GF back in June of 21. We went back in November of 21, as I guess we didnt take good enough aftercare of our tatts (i.e. didnt moisturize enough post tatt, sun hit them, etc.) Long story short, she hooked us up with color touchups, and the tatts look awesome. Unbeknownst to me and my GF, a touch up 1st year is free, but we paid anyway, because Brittney is the best! GO WITH CONFIDENCE! Great artist, great atmosphere, nice clean shop!

Just finished my sleeve with Derrich. The most important thing I can think of when choosing an artist is working with your own work schedule. Derrich did just that for me. Im off when he is off. So he came in on Mondays and finished my arm. Pro, clean reliable and friendly. Just go get some ink there. Wish I could show my sleeve
