Vanaheim Tattoo

I met Henry at Vanaheim tattoo about two months ago. Since, I’ve gotten two pieces and have two more scheduled this week. My only regret is not finding this place sooner. The shop has a great atmosphere and the entire staff is patient and professional. What I like most is that the owner, Henry, listens to the little details that you want in your piece and has been great with suggestions.Joseph Bedard

I have been using Henry as my tattoo artist for about a year now. Even though I live over two hours away I will only go to him. His ability to be presented an idea or concept and take it to the next level is shown in the quality of his work. I get so many compliments on his work and am always beyond satisfied with everything he has done for me. His prices are very fair for the quality and time he puts in his work. I can not recommend him enough. You will not leave here disappointed.

Ive gotten two tattoos from Colby since he started apprenticing and I couldnt be happier with the results. He was incredibly receptive to my input and ideas with what I wanted the tattoos to look like, and had great ideas of his own artistically. I really felt like he went the extra mile in understanding what I wanted, and making sure he could make it a reality. I have no doubt that within a few years hell be one of the most well-known artists in the area. The shop was incredibly clean and welcoming, and everyone there was extremely professional. I would absolutely recommend any artist at this shop, whether youre getting your first tattoo or your 100th.

I have used Henry twice so far for my half sleeve on my forearm. Both times he did an amazing job coming up with the tattoo design from my ideas as well as the placement. He is extremely detailed in his work, clean with all his equipment and ensures you are satisfied with the tattoo. I would recommend Henry to anyone interested in getting a new piece, you will not be disappointed!!!

In love with this place! Everyone there is so down to earth and just a the most amazing people ever. I went to Colby and he did an outstanding job, i was so impressed. Such a cool guy, he made me feel so comfortable and was open to hearing my ideas and takes on his design. I felt like i was working with the him opposed to having him work on me. Pricing was reasonable and i felt that i would have been charged an extra $150 at any other shop. (He did not do the quote above)

The best tattoo shop I’ve been too. Inviting atmosphere along with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Henry did a wonderful job and was responsive to my ideas while guiding me in choosing the perfect colors and placement for my tattoo. I wanted something simple but bold to memorize my puppers of 15 years. I’m more than pleased and I smile every time I see it. I’m already planning another tattoo with Henry. Henry is a very thorough tattoo artist. He doesnt rush his work, he double and triple checks with you about your lettering and designs, and he talks you through the entire process from start to finish, even providing aftercare instructions in depth. Henry has tattooed me in the past so he was the first person I thought of when my son mentioned getting a tattoo. Today, my son got his first tattoo with Henry and was impressed with how comfortable his shop and Henry made him feel the entire time he was there. Not only is Henry thorough, he is also reasonably priced for how high quality his work is. My son walked in with a picture of what he wanted and walked out commenting on how much better the tattoo was compared to the picture. He is very happy with his tattoo and will be back for many more. My son and I both highly recommend Henry and his shop.

I went here earlier this month and had the new tattoo apprentice Colby do a quick flash tattoo on my arm. This guy was nothing but professional since the moment I walked in. He helped me decide on what would be best for size and placement, and didn’t want to do a piece I wasn’t going to be happy with. For someone who was new and still learning he did an amazing job on the tattoo. The two hours I was in there we conversed about pretty much everything from tattoos to life itself which made the time go by quick and made the atmosphere in the shop comfortable. Definitely not like some of the artist I’ve been to who sit there awkwardly and just want to finish the tattoo and get on with their day. Will definitely be going back to Vanaheim in the near future. The whole staff there are amazing as well.

Very clean, good atmosphere. Jacqui is super kind and sweet not to mention super helpful! Henry and Alan are always a pleasure to talk to. They both do great work. Henry is my artist and he has done all my tattoos, I love them!

Vanaheim Tattoo is my new favorite shop! If you are looking for spectacular artists who will go above and beyond to make your ideal tattoo a reality, dont sleep on this place. Alan does an excellent job making you feel comfortable while he works. The shop itself has great aesthetic. The décor is reflective of their vibe and it is super clean. I especially like the authentic fur around the shop; its a nice touch. I will certainly be returning for my next tattoo!

This shop is very clean and has a lot of cool decor. My experience with Colby was great! He was very professional and made sure I liked the design 100% ahead of time. We were also able to play around with different locations because I wasn’t sure where to get it. He was very patient and thorough, will definitely use as an artist again.

Alright, I have been to vanaheim 3 times now and every time Henry, Colby and Jackie have been beyond amazing. I feel so welcome everytime, Henry is SO patient with me squirming, I am such a baby when it comes to tattoos! Lol His work is beyond amazing! you tell he cares about every last detail. I wouldn’t ever trust or recommend anyone else for myself or my friends and family. The place is BEYOND CLEAN! It’s SO SO SO COOL INSIDE! This is a truly great place, that does good honest work! Henry and Alan always make sure their clients are comfortable before, during, and after their sessions. By far one of the cleanest tattoo shops Ive been in, and always feel respected too the utmost degree. Extremely willing to work with clients to make sure everyone is comfortable with and adoring of their new tattoos.

Alan Garcia is amazing! He’s recently been working with me on a sleeve I’ve been dreaming about for years. The meaning behind the tattoo is very personal and important to me and he took special care to make sure everything was exactly the way I wanted. Alans attention to detail and passion for what he does is the reason why I’ll continue coming back regardless of how long I have to wait. There is a huge difference between an artist who just wants to get you in and out of the chair for money and one who genuinely cares about the quality of their work and Alan is definitely one of the latter. I’m a waitress and bartender and I don’t think I’ve gone a single shift without at least a few people asking who did my work and letting me know how beautiful it is. If you’re looking for an artist who genuinely cares you’ve found him! Can’t wait to continue this journey with you!

First off, Vanaheim is super clean and inviting. Plus, theres a nice aesthetic and vibe. The foyer area is great! Its spacious and allows for privacy for the clients. The work area is also clean and very very sanitary. COLBY SPENCER is awesome! Although hes still apprenticing, hes quickly establishing his chops as a premiere tat artist. Last Tuesday, Colby created a design for me, based on some artwork I sent him. He created a masterpiece for my left ankle!

I’ve been in twice so far to get tattooed by Colby! Even though he’s just starting out as an apprentice this guys got skills!!! Colby takes his time making sure it’s exactly what I want and where I want it. His attention to detail and want to practice to perfect his craft is fun to watch and I’m honored to be a part of it. I’ve already set up my 3rd tattoo appt with him and can’t wait to see how he knocks this next idea out of the park!

I love tattoos and I am so glad I chose Henry to finish them off as I am definitely coming back for more! He makes sure you love your design and placement before you even get started. This was one of my most pleasant experiences with getting tattoos done. Alan was amazing working with me to get them done. Bookings were months out for the day I needed but after booking it the artist communicated regularly with me about the design and even helped me recall the time of the appointment. Will be going back to finish up my sleeve. Everyone there was super nice and very professional.

Came to this shop to get a small tattoo on my forearm and was greeted by friendly professional staff they have a great vibe in the shop and a lot of pretty neat stuff to look at when you walk in the Viking theme was pretty neat and entertaining while you wait I had Colby do my tattoo he paid attention to detail and adjusted the stencil a few times to my liking to really get the vision and he did an awesome job loved how it came out! Will definitely be back :)

Got a pretty annoyingly, tedious, “armband” tattoo from Henry. All I can say is WOW! Henry took the time to place the template 3 or 4 times, just to get 100% it perfect. He works so fast, but so so so thorough. Will NOT go anywhere else. The cleanest tattoo shop EVER! State of the art equipment. They do it right at Vanahiem!

I highly recommend Vanaheim tattoo! Henry heisenberg is currently working on a Black and grey tattoo sleeve for me and I tell ya I couldnt be any happier! The talent never ceases to amaze me! Alan is also another great artist working out of Vanaheim Dont hesitate to reach out to them!

By far the best experience I’ve ever had at a tattoo shop. The receptionist Jacqui was very informative, upbeat and swift at booking my appointment. Answered all the questions I had. The prices were as superb as the work! Will be returning and recommending to friends!

An opening for Alan was posted on social media where I gave him a call right away and got me an appointment within an hour, as soon as I got there he took me right in and started working on me. This is my second time getting a tattoo done with him, and his work is amazing. I would definitely recommend this place 💯

Colby did an amazing job! He kept it light hearted, professional, and he genuinely cared to make sure everything was perfect before he put needles to skin. 10/10 would go again!

Not pleased at all. I wasn’t sure what I wanted so I booked a consultation in August. I met with Henry and and discussed what I was thinking. He listened, took a picture and I booked my appointment, first available, six weeks later. I also paid a $50 deposit for the appointment.Fast forward to today…. I walk in and Henry asks what I was thinking. I said we had met for a consultation and had already had this discussion. The rude receptionist chimed in with something but as I was in mid conversation with Henry, I can’t comment to what she said. Henry then left to begin drawing up something. I was already disappointed because I thought that was the whole point of having a consult. So he’s be ready on the day of appointment.I was asked to fill out a few patient forms and when I handed them to the receptionist she stated they were a cash business only. I had planned on paying via Venmo (as I had done before). She said they no longer accept Venmo. Mind you, I had called 45 mins prior to my appointment to confirm and she could have mentioned their new policy at that time.Ultimately, the picture Henry showed me wasn’t too impressive so overall, good thing that I didn’t get a tattoo that day.

I got my tattoo done by Alan, I had a GREAT experience at the location. Very clean and organized, great service and a great environment. The tattoo came out amazing and was done well. 10/10 recommend.

Just had my 10th tattoo done by Henry, the last few being done in the new shop, in its awesome location. Clean and has very cool design layout. He always works with me so I am satisfied with the design going on my body, since most have significant meaning. Its always a pleasure getting some tattoo time in, he’s got some serious talent!
