I HIGHLY recommend this shop for all of your tattoo needs! Kim is an amazing artist and perfectly captured the tattoo I wanted in honor of my daughter. She has a light touch in the best way possible and was very thorough, making sure everything was perfect. She was patient with me and allowed me to take breaks as needed and was available later for my follow up questions. The other artists seem like a lot of fun and the entire shop is just a great environment to be in. Very clean and organized. I will 100% be back!

Justine is absolutely amazing at what she does. She truly does make the experience amazing and cares about the outcome of the tattoo making sure everything is perfect! So far I have gotten two pieces done by her and she goes above and beyond ever time. I can gladly say she is now my go to for all my tattoos! This is the first tattoo shop I can truly say I feel comfortable walking into instead of intimidated. This place is amazing. They have the best artists and welcoming environment. Best structured tattoo shop in Permian Basin, take their jobs serious and technique with heart. The owner is the artist that has done majority work on my arm. NOT DISSAPPOINTED AT ALL IN THE WORK HE DOES!! ITS AMAZING!!

Champagne is an amazing artist! I only see her when Im in odessa. If you like cartoon/traditional/color or letterwork go see her! Good pricing, fast, cleanly, and will make sure that you love your design and placement before she works!

Kristy did an awesome job with a prior tattoo that I hated!!! Cant wait to finish the piece. Theres a after and before photo, although the after pic doesnt do it justice as it would in person.

Today I visited Heart & Dagger and Ricki tattooed me. She did an amazing job and was incredibly thorough. You could tell the amount of pride taken in her work as she designated more time than needed to ensure that she was happy with her product and that I was happy as well.The employees at Heart & Dagger were all incredibly welcoming. The studio was clean and overall provided me with an incredible experience, which is a rare find for many tattoo shops in the West Texas area. This one definitely stands apart from it’s competitors. The raw talent behind these walls is undeniable. Highly recommend!

Im a little biased because my friend works there, but the artists there are really nice, you can tell they have a great community and treat each other like family. Their craft really shows from their paintings theyve done scattered all across their walls.

Moved up to Odessa 2 years ago and have been looking for a new artist/shop. I came in right after they reopened after COVID-19 and everyone was amazing. They had me go straight to the bathroom and wash my hands the second I walked in the door, and my personal artist Kim wore a mask and required me to wear one too. Everything was very clean and sanitary. Kim is an amazing artist with such a unique style. I cant wait to go back to her again!

My 15 year old daughter got a cartilage piercing here. First off let me start with clean shop and every person we talked to was very well mannered.I do not remember the guys name who did the piercing but he was awesome. He kept my daughter engaged and treated very well. He took his time to make sure everything was perfect and spent time with us explaining treatment afterwards.Thank you Hang em High!!

I got my nose pierced here, and the staff was great. Very clean environment, and very experienced people. I had forgotten to eat beforehand, so after i was done i almost fainted but also ended up throwing up, but the piercer knew exactly what to do and helped me so much. definitely coming back for any future piercings.

I have gotten a total of 3 tattoos and my husband has gotten 2, about to get his third, by Danny. I have been to quite a few studios between DFW and Midland/Odessa, and Danny is the best artist I have worked with yet. He is very professional and incredibly detail oriented. Everybody on staff is super friendly. Its hard to find decent customer service out here and its even more difficult to find someone you would trust with permanently altering your body. Danny is my guy. Im currently planning more tattoos, and I will, without a doubt, work with him.

David is an awesome guy! I went to get my tongue pierced today, he was very nice and funny the whole time. I Would definitely recommend this place. Gonna come here for my next piercing and maybe my first tattoo.

I would recommend them to anyone. I showed Travis a picture of what I wanted and he drew up something similar. I wasn’t sure at first how it was going to look but after he got done with my cross on my forearm it was 10 times better than the picture I showed him. The detail and the shadows he added just set it off. This was my first tattoo and I’m very pleased with the result.

David did our piercings. What a damn cool dude. My step daughter and I were both soooooo nervous and he was so chill it all went away. I almost backed out, but he said, Im good at what I do, Ill take good care of yall. That he did!!! He was awesome. Stepdaughters first, other then ear lobe, piercing and he made it an AMAZING experience!!!! Place was clean and everyone seemed chill. Highly, HIGHLY recommend David and Hang em High

David did my nose piercing (nostril 35$) very nice guy we had some laughs, went over procedure well, made me less nervous lol Would recommend him for future piercings (make sure you read the paper he gives you! there’s a pop quiz...) The guy who did my nose piercing was great. he made me feel less anxious about the piercing and performed the piercing quickly and professionally. his advice on care was great. my nostril piercing was fairly priced at $40

I absolutely cannot recommend this place enough when it comes to piercings! I got my tragus, rook, and conch pierced at another studio in Odessa, (we wont be petty by naming this place) and the piercer there completely botched one of them. I went to David at Hang Em High to get three earlobe piercings done and I was so pleasantly surprised by how genuine and humble he was! Not only did he give me a deal but he also gave me a new ring to put in my tragus to decrease irritation, and cleaned out my conch that was showing signs of infection. (This was due to the fact that the guy from the place that shall not be named put a regular lobe earring with a butterfly back in it, and it was becoming embedded into my ear!) And he did all of this for free! He made good conversation and played a variety of music the whole time. He was very thorough in his instructions for aftercare and made it clear that I could come to him if I had any problems. I thought about talking to him about my issues at work and my love life but Im thinking he meant problems related to my piercings... Ill keep yall posted. Anyways! Needless to say that when I decided to get a double forward helix done, I went to David. I wont be letting anyone but him poke holes in me from now on. Give him a shot and I promise you wont go anywhere else for your piercings after that. And please dont be intimidated by his obvious charm, sharp wit, or impeccable taste in music... hes a really nice guy.I would also like to add the small detail that they accept cards here. The other place only took cash. I didnt realize that I was stepping into 1952 when I walked into that place that shall not be named. If youre living in 2018 with the rest of us, go to Hang Em High.

Great shop. Helped me clean up my tattoo that I got done out of town. Super helpful and even sent me on my way with some extra supplies. If you are in the area and need anything tattoo related this is the place to go. Great atmosphere and great place to get anything done.

Love my new tattoo! Clint was amazing and did a fantastic job. The shop is clean and the guys are all nice and very intertwining. I will be here again for my next tattoo.

I got a cover up done by Clint. I wasn’t sure that it would be covered up completely but it is and you cannot see what I had under. Other places told me I was only gonna be able to do black over it. He did a great job! I recommend this place and would visit again.

My wife has been getting ink done by Shiloh for a good while so I decided to give his work a go, good steady hand and cares about the art he does. And a clean casual shop as well, good supportive group of folks, keep it up!!

Got my first tattoo here by Casey, came in with an idea and a rough sketch and he made a piece of art that blew me away. Super clean shop, friendly people, answered all my questions. Will be going back for sure.

Artist quality was ok but was treated extremely unprofessionally and price was changed after session was finished without informing me beforehand. Also the tattoo artist Kristy was extremely rude and charged me $150/hour for a touch up without me knowing beforehand assuming like most artists that a touch up would be free. Contacted shop owner and they didn’t care.

I’ve gotten tattooed 6 times at this shop, by 3 different artists and everytime the tattoos came out exactly how I hoped and healed perfectly. Shiloh is my go-to artist!

Got my tragus pierced this past Saturday and oh man was the guy who did it awesome! Would really recommend anyone looking to get a piercing to go to him!

If you’re debating on something done, just go up there and ask. David is great, makes jokes to calm down the nervousness and will answer all of your questions and worries before anything even gets settled. Definitely the best place to go in the midland/Odessa area.
