I thoroughly enjoyed meeting the owners. Super nice people. Jake drew my tattoo, and did a beautiful job !!! I also enjoyed his , for lack of better words, kind spirit. Im from Kansas City, & if in the area again Ill go right back to see him.I think its best to drop by in person . Great vibe there.

This place was great. My artist respected that I did not want to talk throughout me getting my tattoo and asked me several times if I was doing okay. My artist was Jeremy. He did a great job!

Did a consultation with Jake about doing a shark inspired vacation tattoo. We tossed around a few good ideas and he drew up the perfect shark tattoo! Very good experience with the design aspect (gave me 3 solid options and listened to my input about any changes) and very impressed with the outcome of it, also 5 stars on very easy to talk to and very communicative during the tattoo session. Would come back for more on any other vacation trips or if I lived closer.

Very clean tattoo shop. It was a great experience getting to know Jake. My wife and I both got tattoos and were very pleased with the environment, the people, and their work. Would definitely recommend.

My boyfriend and I went in on a Friday evening, Jake got us in with no problem for our little vacation memory tats. Great people! There was a lot of talk about music😁. We will be back on our next trip.

Im very Happy we found this shop, and went in. It was the last day of the family vacation. I wanted a matching tattoo with my hubby to remember this trip. We went in and Jake & mom are pleasant people to talk too. We went in a couple hours before closing and was out fairly fast. We got palm trees and man we couldnt be more pleased with how they turned out. I would most definitely recommend this shop. The atmosphere was awesome, the people are awesome and do amazing beautiful work!!! Thank you guys sooo much for making the LAST DAY rememberable!!!!

From Memphis and vacationing to Orange Beach , these guys are amazing and the best artist and conversationalist. Crazy enough I did almost everything you can do in Orange beach but I felt at home with these guys. Thank you for time your hospitality and welcoming us into your establishment. Love my experience there, me and my wife walked in for a tattoo on the last day of our vacation about a hour befor closing time. Jake was so awesome he sat right down figured out what we and was a blast to talk to. I will definitely be going back when I come down and getting more great work and even better people.

Honestly best people I know. hands down service is amazing, they do everything to make sure your time there is not wasted. the double hammerhead tattoo is 4 years old and still looks amazing. depending who you get depends if it freestyle or not. JAKE is by far my man to go to. and no kidding there the only people I go to for tattoos, and I drive cross country just for them. I recommend them hands down 10 stars in every catagory

This place is amazing, the artists are all super friendly. Hope had did some work on me a couple years ago and it was in the area again, I am so happy I took the time the time to see if she was still there!!.. she does some amazing work and makes you feel so comfortable, I had told her to do any colors she wanted to it and it came out soooo Good. I was always told if you have darker skin you cant get any colors, or if you want any they wont look good, but they explained to me how untrue that was and I plan on coming back for more!.. it has been about two weeks and the colors are popping, and they also do lifetime touch ups!!!....even with me being 6 hours away I will make the drive for it!

At 60+ I got my 1st tattoo back in March 2018 while visiting Orange for the first time and it is my late nephews signature.We are currently here for Christmas Vacation and I plan to get another one tomorrow before heading back to Nashville on Sunday morning.I love it and am so proud of it!!

Horrible experience for a first time tattoo. I was with my friend and she wanted two butterflies. the original person who was going to do it called in sick. they were rude and very stand-offish. forget southern hospitality when you go in here. made her feel stupid for what she wanted and told her it was not a realistic idea for a tattoo. called for mama and mama was worse. she scoffed at the idea and was rude about it as well. don’t recommend.

Wonderful experience. I went in to show them what I was wanting done and Mona was able to draw something up for me to come back and have done. Absolutely exceeded all of my expectations. She even touched up my old tattoo of my dads handwriting. I come here for vacation every year and I will definitely be using them for my next tattoo. Thank you, Mona!

My granddaughter got her first ink here. They were so good with her and her tatt turned out amazing!

I had a questionable tattoo done here 8 years ago by the guy who owns the place. The ink he uses is the best quality Ive seen - my black tattoo never turned blue or green, and the other colors didnt fade much at all. He was heavy-handed, and even now, as Im getting the tattoo removed, I can still say that the tattoos are good quality, and he used really good ink.

I need to revamp my review. I am happy with my tattoo, just going to add a little color to it. I was very comfortable with the owners. He did a great job. Great people!

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and awesome work! Not a single complaint!! I brought my twin 18 year old daughters here and we all got our first tattoo together. My husband got his 4th. The guys worked very hard and put a lot of thought into our designs. Jake and Eric treated us like family and now we feel like they are a part of ours!

Me and my wife wanted vacation tattoos before we went back home, I called a day in advance and then came in for a consult. The next day we got our tattoos done, the Mother does excellent work! Best tattoo Ive gotten so far, nice clean straight lines and no swelling at all, the staff are awesome very cool down to earth people. Next time Im in Gulf Shores Ill be getting another tattoo from them.

I have many piercings and I’ve even gotten my nose pierced once before, but I went to Jake last night to get my nose re-pierced, and he was hands down the best! He was so knowledgeable and helpful with my other piercings as well. Very friendly too. He even cleaned one of my piercings I recently got without me asking. I will definitely be back, and I might even make the drive from Mississippi the next time I need a piercing. If you need a piercing, I would 100% go here!!

Jake did an incredible job on a memorial tattoo for me. He has very clean line work. The staff was accommodating and made me feel very comfortable. The lobby is closed to walk in guests which cuts down on distractions. Very reasonable shop minimum for small pieces. Thanks so much Jake!

Excellent experience. Jake and gang were fantastic! My entire family (me, my husband, mother in law, sister in law, and brother in law) all got tattoos. We come here from Orlando and Dallas as the atmosphere is top notch! Love this place. Quality artistry.

We came by on a Thursday night and there were three employees who greeted us outside. Our group of 4 all picked out tattoos and they even helped customize 2 of them! They were all friendly and helpful and we got charged a fair amount. Learned the head artist had a daughter named Ella Pearl about the same age as my Ella Rose! Great people, great atmosphere, and my dad of 67 years finally got his first tattoo!

Came to Orange Beach with my family with the hopes of us getting tattoos to remember our trip. I understand this is a very busy establishment but the man took our names and numbers twice and never returned a call with an appointment. It would have been nice if he would have just said they had no time or no intention we could have tried to find elsewhere. I cant really rate the business cuz I didnt experience it but I will give the piercer that took my name and my number twice with no intentions of calling back a zero.

This place is fantastic. Not only do they do great work, but they are also extremely friendly and make you feel welcome. Everyone seemed so nice. Special shout out to Mona and Eric. They were great with me and my family. The attention Eric gave my tattoo was amazing!

Attempted to get a tattoo here and sent them info and went to talk with them but they didnt even try. No call back after coming in person and trying to set things up. We were hoping to have family tattoos done and I understand being under staffed but I prefer to be told no than to waste my time. It is unfortunate because I really wanted to work with them but they didnt seem to care about our business. I,would not recommend unless you have weeks to spend here to get a call back.

I’m currently sitting here watching my mom get her tattoo and I just finished getting mine. This place is so awesome and I’m so glad we were able to find a clean, friendly shop on our short stay here in Orange Beach!! We came in and they worked on are design, and we decided it was too big for what we were looking for. Eric spent the next hour tweaking and brainstorming until we found the perfect piece that we both loved! Highly recommend this shop to any local or tourist looking to get a new piece of artwork in a friendly, professional place!!

My husband and I went here this evening for a quick, spontaneous tattoo. We met with Eric and Mona (I believe there names were), and from the second we walked in the door we were pleased. Very welcoming, worked with us on our design since we werent quite sure how we wanted it. Overall very friendly, prices were extremely reasonable...we will definitely be stopping again the next time we are in town!

Orange beach tattoo was amazing. Jake did an amazing job on my tattoo! My wife and I made an appointment and showed up and ever thing was clean and professional! Jake and his staff REALLY care about the customers. Explain everything and make you feel very comfortable. Tim did a small tattoo on my wife and it looks great. He was professional and very personable and made us comfortable. He walked us through the whole process which I especially appreciated because it was my first tattoo. I went on a mini vacation to Orange Beach and have been searching for some new ink. I found this gem of a shop and walked in and was greeted instantly by a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I decided upon a unicorn on my right calf and the one that I picked out of the look book was pretty basic. Tim told me to come back and he would have something drawn up for me. I returned and the outline that he did was amazing. Little did I know, that the finished product was even more amazing. The shading and color choices that Tim had used was gorgeous. I am highly satisfied on the way my new tattoo turned out. I am giving them a call this week to schedule an appointment to add background to my already amazing piece. I highly recommend Orange Beach Tattoo and Tim, thank you for your amazing artistry skills.

I had my very first tattoo done while I was here on vacation. They did absolutely AMAZING. They were very nice and professional. I was super nervous but they talked me though it and were very patient. I highly suggest if you are from out of town or you live nearby to get a tattoo at Orange Beach Tattoo. They showed me how all the tools were clean and sterilized within its packaging. I would definitely get another one if I come back on vacation. :)

If you wrote a bad review or gave 1 star to this shop then Ill go ahead and say you were probably the problem. Everyone here is so friendly respectful and professional. Jake is an amazing artist and wonderful mentor to his apprentices. The shop is very clean and has a family friendly atmosphere. Jake is very diligent and truly cares about the artwork he puts on your body. My quarter sleeve healed beautifully and did not even scab. He wont push your body past what he thinks it can handle and is very open minded to what you want but also adds his own creativity as well. I highly recommend OBT for anyone looking for great work at an unbeatable price. Im looking forward to finishing my piece with him next month.

I got my first tattoo at orange beach tattoo while visiting from Arkansas, and the experience was fantastic! All of the equipment seemed to be kept to hospital levels of sterility. The place was so clean and nice that I brought my whole family in with me. The whole staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. I was so pleased with Scott and the shop that my 7 year old daughter had her ears pierced there as well. Nick did such a great job helping me with the design and performing the inking. I will not consider getting another tattoo anywhere else in the future.

Three weeks ago we were at the beach and my sister-n-law and I got tattoos done at David’s Gallery in Gulf Shores and they were the worst tattoos we have ever gotten and we have several...thank goodness we found Orange Beach Tattoo...these guys were so kind, so professional and as shocked as we were at how bad our tattoos looked...they got us scheduled to come in and get them fixed, they didn’t even charge us because they felt terrible! Everyone was super nice, it was super clean, they fixed our tattoos and they look perfect...just like they should have the first time! Go see them and let them take care of you!!! I will definitely be back!

Great guys! Super nice and very talented staff. They drew up a design for my daughters first tattoo. Im going back tonight for a sleeve. Tim did my daughters Tatoo and Jake did the cover up of my old deer and turned it into a 1/4+ sleeve, that looks awesome. They are truly great guys and do great work.THANKS AGAIN GUYS! !!

Went in 12/30/17 and got my first tattoo. Eric did my tattoo and it turned out amazing. They made you feel very comfortable, and they are very family oriented. Eric did an amazing job, and I will be coming back to see them when I want more. Thank you Eric!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE Orange Beach Tattoo! Everything was top of the line! Hands down the cleanest place in OBA! Scott did an awesome job with my new tattoo! I love it! He also touched up 2 old faded ones and they look 100% better! Im already picking out my next one and will go anywhere else! I didnt know exactly what I wanted (or where) and Scott wouldnt even start until he knew I was positive about my choice so I have no regrets thanks to him! I cant thank him enough!

Orange Beach Tattoo was absolutely great! My friend and I got our belly buttons pierced, and I was so impressed by how CLEAN the owner, Scott, kept everything! It made me feel so much more comfortable about getting the piercing! Scott made sure we were completely satisfied and the whole experience was just great! Tim did the tattoos for my wife and I while we were on vacation. We went in the first day we were there. They recommended waiting till the last day since we were going to spend time at the beach and swimming. Tim did a great design that my wife loves for her tattoo that she has been dreaming of for 15 years. Im impressed with the professionalism and courtesy of all who were working!

My best friend and I came to Orange Beach for a short, but much needed relaxing vacation before starting a next chapter in our lives. My best friend, Katy, and I had talked about getting a particular tattoo for her past mother for a many months. When we saw a tattoo shop across the street from where we were staying, we thought we would go in and see what it was all about. I, myself, have three tattoos (all from different places), and Katy has one herself. Of all of the places we have seen, this shop at just first sight was BY FAR the cleanest! After telling Teresa, the very helpful and personable front of the house assistant, what Katy was looking for, we knew that there was not another place that she wanted to get her tattoo. She had our business before we even got to meet the owner, Scott. After Teresa talked with Katy about what she wanted, we set an appointment to come back the very next day and put all of the elements together with her and Scott. When we all meet, Scott was not only caring about what Katy wanted, even though it meant nothing to him personally, he sincerely cared about putting what she wanted, what the tattoo meant to her, and how she wanted it to look into life. Between his and Teresas collaborate design she was more in love with the tattoo than she even imagined. Because of that, she got a tattoo that she has had for over 6 years touched up and brought back to life (even better that it was before), as well as myself getting one of my previous tattoos filled in. Not only was the experience the best either one of us have ever had, but I, personally, have never felt so welcomed, laid back, and appreciated as a customer as I have at Orange Beach Tattoos. I not only just recommend going here, but I would call anyone a complete moron for going anywhere else anywhere near this area. You wont regret this experience at all, especially with something that is going to be a part of you for the rest of your life. Scott is an amazing artist, as well as a laid back guy that will talk you through your experience the whole time. What more could you ask for?!

Dylan did a great job an my first tattoo. He walked me through it all and was cool to talk with. If I lived in the area I would go back without question. Their quality is top notch.

My last day of vacation, I spontaneously decided to get a tattoo. I went to Orange Beach Tattoo and Dylan was my artist. He did absolutely phenomenal on my tattoo! He talked through with me about my design and color to make sure I was getting what I wanted. He was incredibly cool and I will most definitely be back when I come back here!!

I LOVED this tattoo shop! I went and got Sailor Moon’s eyes tattooed with a banner below to cover up an older one, and you can’t ever see the old lettering I had before! I’m so happy with the work my artist gave me! I brought in a picture of a tattoo and she worked with me to create something that I loved. Not to mention we were walk-ins as well!

Anthony was great. Very knowledgeable of ALL piercings and body art. Extremely sterile and clean environment. Made me comfortable and not feel anxious. Definitely going back.

I was on a Girls Weekend vacation and we wanted to get tattoos. We called Orange Beach and Scott was very nice and was able to see us that day. We had a great time and enjoyed our experience. I would recommend Orange Beach Tattoo to everyone. The shop was extremely clean and in a great location. If you are ever around or near Orange Beach stop in and check it out for yourself!

Me and my sister both got tattoos today and the experience was definitely 10/10 our guy was super funny and made us feel comfortable

Shop was clean. One of the guys was closing the shop early because they were slow, even though the hours on the door said they would be open. Gave him pictures of the tattoos that my friend and I wanted. Would have been probably $500 worth of tattoos between the two of us. Did not offer to stay open (even though the shop hours said they should be) but promised to call me the next day to confirm the appointment. I never received a phone call. Did not seem to concerned about making money. I have no idea what the quality of work is because we didn’t receive any, but based on customer service, I was not impressed.

Got my first tattoo here on vacation and couldnt have asked for a better experience. Super friendly staff, very clean shop, and very preofessional. Prices were better than I could have imagined. Tim did my dads tattoo and Mona did mine, and no complaints on either end, very sharp and well done tattoos. All around great experience, and will definately return here if I get another tattoo.

Awesome experience. My wife and I are on our honeymoon and decided to get some work done. Great staff, Mona did ours and was absolutely amazing. Are planning to get tattoos on our next beach trip from them!

If I could rate a 0, you better believe I would! We were rudely greeted upon walking in. Then an older lady came up as well to discuss our design and basically flat out told us we couldn’t get the tattoo the size we wanted it. It was a small and minimalistic design and they wanted to blow it up tremendously (a money gimmick I’m sure) needless to say we walked out and took our business elsewhere.

I was on vacation with a friend back in early June. My friend thought it would be a great idea to get a tattoo while in town. Being the only shop in town, this is where we went. The staff was enjoyable but I just cannot bypass my overall experience. I am no rookie to tattoos. I have a piece that took 8 hrs on my right arm, and this small tattoo, with no shading was way more painful. After its fully healed its clear to see that he was waaaay too deep. Almost the entire tattoo is just scarring. Im unsure of how Im going to go about fixing this, but Im really disappointed and regret spending $100 on a wound. Im giving 2 stars instead of 1 soley based off the staff having professional attitudes while we were there.

I was on a family vacation with my sister and two neices, and we decided to go in to Orange Beach Tattoo, for matching family tatts. The owner was so kind and honest. The shop is very clean, and the owner is quite skilled as a tattoo artist. He gave all four of us amazing tattoos! This is am amazing Christian shop, and when we are in Orange Beach, its the only place we would recommend! Outstanding Customer Service!

After going to a few different shops in the area this one was my favorite. Mona did an amazing job on my forearm tattoo and my sister n laws wrist tattoo! She was quick to get us in and did a awesome job! If you are in the orange beach area I recommend coming here for a tattoo Great shop!

Really nice establishment. We were welcomed in and said they would work with us and get us in on friday. Very friendly staff. They said they would call us with prices and times but were very busy. We stopped by after a couple days to check and they havent had time to work on all our tattoos and this guy wasnt as friendly. He said he cant promise anything for Friday. We explained were leaving town Saturday morning and he didnt seem like they were interested in doing them. I understand they are busy but we gave them a 5 day ahead appointment and our tattoos were not complicated at all. Again I would get a tattoo here but they just didnt seem very interested in doing them.

Jake is the man. His shop is family owned and operated, and it shows. The place is spotless and definitely on the up and up. Prices are reasonable and theyre just good folks. It doesnt hurt that theyre all excellent tattoo artists, either.

I just had the pleasure of getting a tattoo at Orange Beach Tattoo. Scott, the owner, helped me figure out exactly what I wanted, where I wanted, how I could discretely place the tattoo I wanted (I am a professional) and then patiently assisted me in designing my tattoo. I was especially impressed with the extremely personal service he provided, his patience in assisting me and the professionalism of his shop. He personally provided me with a tour of the facility as well as information about the procedures he follows to insure maximum hygiene and cleanliness. Nick, the tattoo artist who did my tattoo, was not only the consummate professional but also an extremely gifted artist. Not only did I get the unique tattoo I was looking for, but Nick also touched up an older tattoo I have. I highly recommend this business to anyone who wants a tattoo in this area. Although I do not live in this area (I live six hours away,) I would definitely come back here if I ever wanted another tattoo.

I am having a multiple session piece done. 1st out of 3 is finished. Jake is awesome! Best thing is to come in person and meet the team.

Didn’t actually get under the needle here but I walked in and talked to the employees about some relatively small work with a friend. They didn’t want our business. Every question we had was answered with a short and kind of smart@$$ response. I don’t want to give a testimony about their work but their walk up customer service was just lazy, went down the road and walked in to a place that wanted my business and they got it. There is a sales aspect in the tattoo business and this place frankly doesn’t care about it. Won’t be coming back or recommending this place to anyone.

Was supposed to get a rib cage piece done here, gave the guy what I wanted and was ready to get my tattoo done but he pretty much told me he was going to change it up without offering me font options or trying to get my own opinion of the changes before he was to make them. All he told me is he would call me shortly as soon as he could get it drawn up. 2 hours later I call to check up on his progress and he hadn’t even taken time to start drawing it up or did I ever get a call back after. With that being said I’m giving this 1 star review. Although my bad review I will go out and say Everyone there welcomed me in with a smile and a positive attitude..

I went in last night with my mother who had an appointment in hopes to get a small version of the hummingbird tattoo that she and Jake had spent 15 minutes talking about on Wed. They talked about the tattoo being in memory of my grandmother because that was her favorite bird. They talked about the colors he was going to use and how he was going to draw it up. He seemed very excited and she was super pumped and excited to get her tat done.Unfortunately she wasnt able to get her tattoo so of course neither was I because even though she had made a 5:00 appointment with Jake we were very rudely told that he was booked... I was shocked that the older woman who came and spoke to us was so rude. She walked up to my mom and sighed and sat in a tat chair as if she was irritated and said so what do you want done? Some type of bird covered up or something??? My mom replied I spoke with Jake Wednesday when I sat up the appointment and he knows all about it! (Very excited to get her tattoo done by Jake) The old lady said (still very rude and seemingly agitated) well he is booked so if its gonna be done Im gonna have to do it so show me what we are doing. My mom said no forget about it. This entire time Jake is standing outside chatting with a group of guys. My mom had some choice words for them and we left. I would never go there again and certainly would not recommend anyone else to go and be treated the way my mom was.It was a very bad business move and again the old lady in there who looks like she may have some medical issues and very poor hygiene was the rudest I have come across in a very long time.

I made an appt with Jake 2 days in advance. He was going to cover up an old tattoo with a hummingbird as a symbol for my mom who passed away last November. Jake spoke with me about the vibrant colors he planned to use and how he loved to do hummingbirds. I called the day before to confirm my appt. Everything for today was planned around my new tattoo. I was super excited. So I get there go in and let them know I have arrived for my appt with Jake. Some old lady whose hygiene is questionable began to question me about what tattoo I wanted. I told her I had been in on Wed and Jake had it all set up. She went on to tell me that Jake was booked and she would have to do my tattoo and asked what are we covering up. She was a rude old woman. I didnt want her to touch me much less do my tattoo. I would not recommend Orange Beach Tattoo to anyone. Really bad business ethic.

Staying in Gulf shores on vacation. After trying all of the shops here, and either finding closed signs or bad vibes we drove down the road to orange beach. This shop has very friendly staff who made the experience veryentertaining and memorable. Would definitely recommend you give them a try. Its a custom shop so bring your idea with you and expect to give the artist time draw it up, we did some sightseeing while we waited.

Best tattoo shop in the gulf... HANDS DOWN. Fantastic artist that do incredible work. NOT for your basic wave tattoos girls... get a custom piece done to be truly in love with your tattoo. Jake and the gang know what they are doing... trust me

Mona did wonderful work for my husband and I, with a couples tatoo. She gave us exactly what we wanted …laid back atmosphere, clean. Thank you, Mona!

We went Monday afternoon to get pricing and let them know what we wanted. Told them we wanted them done the upcoming Friday evening. They took notes and descriptions and said they would call us the next evening. We never heard from them so that Wednesday we went back. Different guy working! Very rude and short with us. Couldnt promise us getting work done even though the first guy Monday said no problem, well get a price to make you happy and get you worked in!! Have mixed feelings about the business. Not sure I recommend!! They get a 3 star rating for cleanliness and based off who we spoke to Monday!!

Wife and sister-in-law went to get simple tattoos around 1PM. They took the information and said they would call back after the artist “did his thing.” They never called back or answered their phone for the reminder of the day. Extremely unprofessional.

My siblings and I (five of us) went in for a sibling tattoo that were all done by Eric. He did a fantastic job and was super friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience!

HORRIBLE WORK ON A SIMPLE DESIGN!!! I went in to get a very simple ax and anchor design. They took the image and had stenciled it instead of copying it. The lines are extremely wiggly. The lady couldnt even follow the stencil. My anchor lines are wrong. My ax doesnt look like and ax. The curve on the inside part of the anchor doesnt match on both sides. I wont even trust them to try and fix it. The design was extremely simple. I do not suggest them. The guy I went to talk to was very rude to me.

Everything was wonderful.. Tim does outstanding work. He even brought life to my husband old tattoo.. They are super friendly! If Im on vacation in the area again, I would definitely go back!!

I Had two 26 year old tattoos covered up by Jake.Jake is a real people person.He cares deeply about his clients pain level and overall satisfaction of his work.After having gone to another shop in the area and being quoted a ridiculous price,I decide to check out Jakes shop.I was so glad I did.He welcomed me in his shop and it was honestly like I knew him my whole life.He was very appreciative of my service to the Marine Corps and it was reflected in the price.Jake will be the only person I ever let tattoo me again.Strongly recommend.

My sister and I got tattooed by Hope, she was great and came up with a design that was exactly what we were wanting. The facility itself was very clean and well maintained, overall the experience was phenomenal and we have no complaints.

Love the ppl here. They were gr8. Worked my mom & I in, last minute. Final day of vaca for our matching tats. She was so lighthanded, held gr8 conversation and made us feel welcome and comfy. Its faded a bit tho, like the color isnt dark like it should be.
