This is a review for my cousins from Germany who got their 1st ink ever!!! It was my cousin and his daughter. I dont know who did the work, but all I can say is thank you so much for making it a great experience for them! The music symbol is so nice and fits my cousins personality. His daughters 2 smaller ones fit her as well. Now I know where I would like to go for my next one! Thanks for being so great to out of country, 1st time in the USA visitors!!!

My wife and I come to Florida annually. Every trip willies tropical tattoo is part of our itinerary for over 10 years and had our best experience recently with Billy! He was so dedicated to the work we wanted and his attention to detail was phenomenal! He was dialed in from the start and he made sure our experience was killer! We were vacationing in the area, our daughter mentioned getting a tattoo while we had time and we were wanting to give her an experience to remember and Mr. Skully did not disappoint! He performed a beautiful spinal tattoo, he was gentle and educational about the aftercare, we are glad we chose Tropical Tatoo and highly recommend Skully!!

Tropical Tattoo is the best place for the annual Chopper Show. The is a large showing of custom and old choppers. The talent out here just amazes me.

I love my tattoo, on top of the sentimental value, the art is great, the spelling. . . Not so much. . . I still have to read Always I an with you . . . It should say Always I am with you. . . Can you guys help fixing this mistake you made or offer another tattoo if the an to am is not do able?Update: even though the owner replied to this saying it was NOT their work and it looked old (my camera isnt the best also). . . It is Im fact from Tropical Tattoo AND the person who did this recognized it and is amazing!!!. . . In the process of turning the n into an m it will take one more 2 minute touch up BUT they did amazing so far on the first touch up with blending in/out the n to turn it into an m, I am very impressed! Will update photos once finished :-) I do love this place, and it really was just a font issue (half cursive half text sort of font)

I always have a great experience when I go and get a new Tattoo. Ron is one of the best Tattoo artists that I know and he is also very professional and treats you very well. I am glad that I was referred to him and he is now my go to guy. He has already done 3 Tattoos for me and will be doing quite a bit more.

I visited the shop on Monday to check out the place and artists. I met with John and we discussed my picture for a tattoo. After visiting some other shops, I decided on this one and scheduled my appointment. He was able to get me in today and I am not disappointed. I love my new tattoo!! Bikeweek chopper show is always a great time

Went in and was introduced to SKULLY..lucky me!!! I Explained my idea, chain link with some SKULLS, he said he could do it and it was a reasonable price, he freehanded the art on my arm, I said lets do it! It came out awesome in one sitting!!! I would recommend him to anybody!! Great work..CANT WAIT TO GO BACK!! Thanks SKULLY!!!

Staff was extremely friendly, made you feel very welcomed and wanting to come back to see them again!! I got my tattoo done by Clay, he worked very well with me & showed me different options. I didnt know how the shading was going to come out because I didnt have a picture reference for that, I came up with the idea; so Ive got to say, I love how he did it. Prices are also very good!!! My tattoo that I got in CT was double the price!

Heard about this place from my patients with awesome ink.Ron is a phenomenal artist and easy to talk to. I’ve been wanting to do a half sleeve based on ancient Egypt for a long time.Prices are reasonable for the amazing work. Ron is light handed, too, so that was a nice bonus!We aren’t done yet but I’m already soooo happy with what I have 🥰. I go back in 2 weeks to finish it. I’ll update the review when we’re done.

Needed a cover up badly on an old unfinshed tat. The one I wanted I was told couldnt cover the one I had. SCULLY. Who I highly recommend took one look and said I can do that. We nt back the next day to have him touch up the one on my other shoulder. Awesome job! Thank you Scully. I wont go anywhere else from now on. First photo was old unfinished one, second is the cover. 3rd was old and 4th was redone.

My husband and I came in for tattoos for our anniversary and we were not disappointed! We were greeted quickly (there was someone ahead of us being helped) and we were set up with an artist who was absolutely amazing! Chance listened to what we wanted and gave us exactly that! I will definitely be back and have already discussed my next tattoo idea with him.

My mom and I had an appointment with Skully to get butterfly tattoos. To say that without a doubt this is the cleanest, most professional tattoo shop I have ever stepped foot into is an understatement. Skully was the nicest artist I’ve had the pleasure of sitting with. Had old tattoo from Navy days (37 years old), colored back up n addition to it. Did consult of ideas n stye with my artist (sorry Im terrible names), but he wad spot on. He pegged it perfect and my final product!? Outstanding!! My old old school tattoo is new, fresh and beautiful!! Mad respect n appreciation my man, thank you ty ty!!

My wife and myself got work done during bike wike. Both tattoos were good, artists were professional. But I didnt like that after paying $40 in tips to artists in cash. When asked card or cash, I said card and was informed at that time its a $50 fee. It maybe posted, but not clearly as I never seen it... I understand a fee for credit cards but thats extremely excessive especially when spending $500! Maybe yall need a new credit processor? Wouldve liked to make it a yearly tradition, still may. But probably not here.

Visiting from Pa. Yesterday 11/7/22 I walked into your tattoo shop and Clay welcomed us. I had a tattoo design on my phone which Clay did on my leg. I love his work and he is amazing!!! While there my friend had a small heart put on his hand that matches an old tattoo I have. CLAY, you are so talented and I appreciate your talent. Ill see you again for sure! Im moving to Deltona.

I got a tattoo today from Mr. Clay, the tat was for my mom the passed a year ago from cancer and i don’t know if he knows how much this tattoo meant to me. I had an idea of the tattoo i wanted and he sketched it by hand and literally pulled the image i had in my head and put in on paper. Staff are super friendly and inviting, so it’s great for newcomers! They have a variety of beautiful artworks on their walls to inspire your tattoos. This was my first tattoo experience and is was so much better than I expected it to be. If your debating on going to this location for a tattoo, I highly recommended. The atmosphere is inviting and so is the staff. Each tattoo artist has their own style so its great for varieties of tattoos. Once again, highly recommended and make sure you tip nice, because the employees here are putting in 100% and im really happy with my tattoo and i know my mom would be too! Thank you guys again, you rock!!!

We were in town for vacation and my daughter was insistent on her first tattoo. Matt was super nice when we asked if they took walkins and what was needed for an underage tattoo (shes17). He gave us a form to have notorized and when we returned he took us right in. He drew it up quickly and was super professional. All of the staff was very friendly. Shes so happy and Im very pleased that we chose Tropical Tattoo for her first one! We hope to return for more!

This tattoo shop came highly recommended and they did not disappoint. The shop is very clean and well organized. The front staff was welcoming and attentive. The tattoo artist was extremely professional and eager to please. He listened to what I expressed I wanted and captured it exactly with great attention to detail. He made me feel at ease which made the session enjoyable. My experience overall was more than favorable and I look forward to returning in the near future for my next tattoo.

I come in every few months and the young lady at the front desk is always very friendly, she’s a pleasant face everytime i come in. she always so helpful and has a huge great personality! my artist katie is more than great i’ll never go to anyone else she did my wolfs on my leg almost a 3 years ago and they still look brand new ! i love all the bubbly personalities in this shop

I got my first tattoo with Ron Gray, an artist at Tropical Tattoo. It came out better than I had visioned. He took my idea and gave the concept honor. Ron is a modern day Picasso. In addition to great work, the guy is a patriot and really cool to talk to. I was in the chair for six (6) hours. I’ll be back for additions, God willing.

Pete did an awesome job for me. He put an insane amount of detail into mine and I was not expecting it to turn out like it did and its absolutely fantastic. First time getting a tattoo and I would have to say it was a great experience. Very helpful and an easy-going and relaxing atmosphere. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to get their first tattoo.

Chance did amazing work. He brought together my idea for a memorial tattoo and executed it beautifully. His line work is so delicate and Im just blown away by his talent. I cant wait to see what we come up with next.

I searched high and low for an acceptable tattoo shop and here’s where I ended up! Not only did Skully use the new technology we have in this generation, but he also successfully edited my tat the way I wanted it! He worked on my tattoo from the moment I walked in around 2:45pm until it was fully tatted and paid by 5pm.AND PRICE?! VERY WELL PRICED in accordance with six other shops. If anything, he was even more FAIR by not upping the price after I asked to have the tat enlarged a bit.He has 30+ years of experience, and ladies, no perv here. He was great and I plan on returning for about another $1K in more awesome art!😄😄😄😄😄😄

Ron Gray is amazing! After a previous tattoo artist making me feel skeptical of getting another tattoo, Ron put me at ease immediately with his skill and expertise. With over 25 years of experience tattooing various styles and concepts, he delivered exactly as I imagined the tattoo on my ankle, and it even looked better than I pictured! I went here for my first tattoo after a lot of review reading and research and I have to say I am very happy and impressed. Eric was my artist and he greeted us at the door. I had drawn a custom design that has a deep meaning to me and I asked him to draw it a little better and what he drew was fantastic. The shop is very down to earth and very sterile. Eric was easy to talk to and was a great artist. The pricing was honest and a lot less than I expected. He gave me lots of tips on how to care for it and overall I am extremely happy.UPDATE: 5/29/18. Me and my girlfriend went in for matching tattoos today and had our tattoos done by zak and could not have been more pleased. Absolutely nothing bad to say about this places all three of my tattoos are from here and I love them all

My daughter and I are down on vacation and wanted to get a tattoo together. Came in and staff was friendly and helpful. Great prices. I tell Clay what I wanted which is a phrase I tell me kids all the time and means something to me. I was expecting like most places Ive been to that my tattoo request would be just plain script and nothing fancy. But not the case! Clay came to me several times to make sure he had exactly what I wanted it to say and showed me several ideas for fonts. He came back with the perfect script for my tattoo and did an awesome job. Way beyond my expectations and I definitely will come back again when Im down. Thanks again Clay! My daughters tattoo was great too but Im sorry I didnt get his name who did hers.I definitely would recommend Tropical Tattoos!

Since my first experience with a cover up, I have gone back to have one touched up, 2 other cover ups and a new tat. I am planning on contacting my artist Scully to finish/add to my eagle which represents my time in the USAF. So happy I found such a great artist. Actually he recommended to me as well. Great place.

I went to Tropical tattoo yesterday to get inked. I had the best experience by far of any tattoo parlors. Everyone was very nice, informative and welcoming.I got tattooed by Zak which was a great experience. Zak is a talented tattoo artist that goes above and beyond to create excellent work. I gave Zak an idea of what I wanted (hibiscus and plumerias) and let him have free reign in being creative. I didnt once watch what he was doing in the four hours I just trusted in the process. The tattoo he created far exceeded my expectations. Zak also was hilarious to talk to even though Im not much of a talker. I plan on making future appointments for more work with Zak and will recommend Zak and tropical tattoo to everyone I can. Thanks for treating me as a person and not just a customer!Everyone else I encountered at Tropical tattoo were very nice. The woman up front was very kind and informative in my decision to wait the three hour wait and come back for my tattoo. Im very glad I did!

I have been to different tattoo parlors in different states; Tropical Tattoo has been the best experience Ive had so far! Super clean, Staff will tell you the truth, I went in to get a tattoo on my finger and they said it will be a bad investment and I came out with a beautiful tattoo on my arm. I was in there for almost two hrs but the artist made sure I had an amazing tattoo, he took his time. No regrets. I live 7hrs away but would make the drive again to get another one from here.

Best customer service I have had compared to any other tattoo shop in daytona!, the new floor girl, Brooke, was very helpful, and the artist are the best in the business! I highly recommend this place! The owner, willy cares deeply for his staff and his customers!

My recommendation, ask for Skully, he does great work. My most recent tattoo I was on the verge of passing out, but Skully was very professional about it. He got me a water and soda, and helped me cool down. A great dude who does great work.

John did a great job on my tattoo. I brought him a picture I liked from a paint job on a motorcycle I saw during biketoberfest. He drew it free hand right on my arm and made it a custom design. Excellent job and a very talented artist! He takes pride in his work. I live in NY and will save my ideas for him when I visit again. Highly recommend him.

Tried to make an appointment, in person, to discuss designs and prices. The guy was extremely rude we spoke to. Didnt know who was working a few days later, our preferred appointment time, due to our days of vacation. My review doesnt matter, Im not coming back to DB, FL. But, do yourself a favor....go to Victory Tattoo....they know how to treat customers!

I came in to get a tattoo with a mate, told them it would be our first tattoo and we were wanting to have a chat about it to understand everything. Definitely felt as if they didnt care about our business. I liked the look of the place and decor, but the personnel were less than friendly.

I visited here on my recent vacation. Myself, my husband and my 2 brother in laws all got tattoos, the 3 men got their tattoos by the same person, Skully, however I got mine from Katie. Now mind you I have 10 other tattoos. The experience was good but then everything turned South. She told me she was putting extra ink so it would hold its color when I returned home. Upon returning home, the tattoo quickly became infected. I talked to my normal tattoo artist and she informed me to seek medical attention. Once I saw a doctor, he said it appears she pushed so much ink into the tattoo that she blew my skin. We are now over a week post tattoo. Its still highly infected, most of the color has pulled out and the amount of scars Ill likely have, the tattoo want be salvageable.. Its very painful and disappointing as this was one of my birthday presents

Went to Daytona on a vacation and wanted some ink. They charged me less than half of what every other shop offered me . And the quality here was way better. The artist was cool and light handed. Barely felt a pinch.

Zack did an amazing job recoloring a 32yr old Taz tattoo I got back in boot camp. It was quite faded and he practically had to completely redraw it. He took his time and not only brought it back to life, but took it to a whole new level. Couldnt be happier. Everyone in this shop is way cool and very talented, you wont be disappointed.

Got a small line work tattoo done a few weeks ago. It wasn’t really what I wanted but I’m stuck now so. Service was nice , people were cool. Just wish the tattoo was perfect and not just ok. Probably will get it covered up at my normal shop.

Tropical Tattoo is the place to go for all your ink work. I have never seen ink work with the artistic detailing as I have there. Unbelievable free hand custom work! Unbelievable detail and shading! Really nice people. Its a very clean, sanitary and professional establishment.Ive had work done elsewhere... really wish I hadnt!!!

They are great artist. Professional. Clean. Only reason im not giving 5 is due to their 10% charge to the tab if you use debit/credit for a tattoo. Every customer who came in while I was there complained on that one issue.

I always bring my own drawing of what I want done and lets just say I am just a little picky!!! There has never been a time where they didnt make sure I was anything but 150% satisfied! I would never go anywhere else for my tattoos than Tropical!!

Their signs and website say they do body piercing, when we walked in they told us they no longer do them. Well take your sign down and change your website! If youre trying to keep up with technology then get with it. I was completely disappointed. Once they said they couldnt do that I decided to go with a tattoo, and he wanted to give me some outrageous price. Needless to say we walked out with Nothing. And not to mention the website says 6.5 % tax on credit card and she told me 10%.when I asked... If youre trying to attract tourists and clients then maybe you should reconsider some things. I went into the shop today to just get a small wrist tattoo clay was my artist and although I was only there 15 minutes or so he was extremely pleasant and we had a hood conversation and when all was said done my art work came out exactly how I pictured it.

I went here to Pete Colleran for a cover-up tattoo ( a wolfs head with indian feathers in its mane) and Pete really did an excellent job. Its better than I expected, and I was fairly ambitious with it. I have good artistic judgement myself but more often than not I found Petes judgement was better, and thats made all the difference. I feel Ive gotten more than my moneys worth, and Im definitely seeing Pete for another tattoo later this year.

Got this on a girls trip.. it looks 10yrs old, but its only a month old. I made sure to do everything exactly like you are suppose to. One of my other girlfriends tattoo looks exactly the same. I will be going somewhere reputable to get this fixed.
