Silver Screen Tattoo & Body Piercing

Usually i like silver screen! i got my septum pierced about 4 years ago the lady was very kind but recently i have not liked the environment, the three recent times i have came in there i’ve gotton bad attitude for no reason! and i got nothing done! and my cousin and her mom went in there for a belly button piercing yesterday and the shop was open but the lights were dark and the workers were making out on the couch. 💀

They were both very nice and made the experience a lot easier and less scary.

Went in to ask how old they do ear piercings, my ten year old wanted her ears. They told me no one under 14 which I understand. The reason for my 1 star is because the girl at the counter told me to try another place and recommended Claires. Any reputable piercer would not recommend Claires to anyone Im trying to avoid there! Please dont recommend Claires to people thats where alot of things can go wrong and its not sanitary.

I’ve been to a lot of tattoo shops over the years and I have to say, I was very pleasantly surprised by Silver Screen. The overall vibe was professional and welcoming, even the process of making my appointment over the phone. I went in for two piercings, my helix and my conch, and Courtney was beyond sweet. She was training an apprentice, Spencer, and both were awesome. They were both extremely sweet and had very calming demeanors. Courtney was a fabulous communicator, super clean, and took great care in where she placed my piercings. It was really a fantastic experience and of course now I want more!

Took my youngest here last week to get their septum done and we had an awesome experience. They love it! All of the staff were friendly and super sweet! We were all so excited that I forgot the piercers name but she was amazing! My 66 year old mom plans to come back and get her eyebrow done and Ill be back for my next tattoo. Highly recommend coming here!

If you can get on the books with Nikki Ventura you wont regret it! Amazing work. I dont know the body piercers name but they are super sweet, knowledgeable, and skilled. The owner is also super sweet.

!!BAD JEWELRY!!i loved going here to get my jewelry changed and get a few new piercings here and there, but for my 20th birthday, i went and got two new piercing (which one got infected) and got jewelry put in my right cartlidge piercing. it’s since then got extremely infected (pictured below) and the jewelry that Courtney put in basically rotted away in my ear causing black stuff to ooze out of my ear (also pictured) it truly feels like they don’t care what type of jewelry they put in just as long as they get ur money. extremely extremely disappointed.

I just had a memorial tattoo done by Nikki. Its beautiful! She did such a perfect job on it. I couldnt have asked for a better tattoo. Super friendly and her attention to detail is amazing. Very highly recommended. Thank you Silver Screen and a big thank you to Nikki for the amazing work!!

Courtney pierced my nose and it went very smoothly.She was very nice and made sure to explain everything she was doing. She was also very thorough with explaining the aftercare. I would also like to mention that this is the first time that my piercing has healed properly and doesnt hurt; I have had my nose pierced 4 times now. Thanks Courtney!

My lady and I got his/hers neck tattoos from Anthony, not even 2 weeks later and both our tattoos are healed and look wonderful. Everybody in the shop was friendly. We will for sure be getting more work done here, by Anthony. Will also check out the other artists ther as well.

I had piercings here when I was younger. No complaints and my 16 had had ears/nose, no issues just amazingly friendly people that do quality work. Very professional!

I love Kathy and Kyle! Great place to have work done... It is the only place I go to and the only place I ever will. No one comes close to the quality of work and cleanliness of this shop! Very reasonable rates and a long time part of the Historical Downtown Oroville Area!

I love Silverscreen! Ive been going there for 16 years. Starting when I was 14 and Kathy did my eyebrow for my first piercing. Then she did my lip, my tongue and Monroe and also gauged my ears. Nikki did an amazing job on my tattoo of my sons foot print and a forearm tattoo. Kyle has done all my brothers tattoos. Hes got easily over 100 tats and they all look amazing. Recently Courtney did my tragus piercing and it looks great, it healed perfectly and quickly. 2 weeks ago she repierced my nose and its already healing beautifully. She is very professional andKeeps everything sanitized. I had wanted my nose pierced with a hoop and she said she could totally use a hoop if that what I wanted, but didnt recommend it. She took the time to explain why a stud is better to start with and was honest about possible complications. I did decide to go with the stud because of her recommendation. She just seems to really take pride in her work and the overall outcome after its healed up. I highly recommend coming here for all of your tattoo and piercing needs. I wont go anywhere else. Quality work is what they do and nothing less. You wont be disappointed!

This place has such a good friendly envirement! all the tattoo artist are amazing. i had my ears stretched from Kathy and that women is great! she made my whole experience all around good. i def. recommend them to anybody whos wanting a tattoo to a peircing.

We always use silver screen for our tattoo and piercings. Stacy and the crew are excellent. They have great prices and you just cant beat the overall experience you get at silver screen. I highly recommend this place!

Got my tattoo here in the beginning of 2013 and it still looks great.I cant remember the guys name who did it but he was super nice, younger guy, short hair. Clean shop. I recommend this shop over all others in Oroville.

Kathy did an amazingly great job my on belly button piercing today I highly recommend her for.

I came here after calling them too see what time they closed and then I came and they decided to close two plus hours early after I had already called. Also they were really bad about answering the phone I had to call multiple times before I had an answer! Im so frustrated right I dont know what else to say
