Always have a positive experience at Crowned Raven. My artist, Val, is wonderful and always gives great recommendations on how to tweak a design or placement. She’s done all but 3 of mine and her work is impeccable. Always have felt welcoming and inviting in the shop. All the artists there are very talented and keep a very clean shop. Wont be disappointed in your design as long as you openly communicate to them. I always have final say on the design and placement and Val has always adjusted the design to my liking if it will work. So much talent under one roof.

MJ did an AMAZING job with my daughter. She has been wanting her ears pierced for a while. My daughter is neurodivergent and I was concerned about the process, but MJ was incredible with her. She was patient and explained each step of the process and how to care for the piercings to my 10yo. We were very impressed overall.

I have been going to Val for at least a decade after I had to have an incredibly bad tattoo fixed because I decided a scratcher was a good person to get a tattoo from (it definitely wasnt). She is an extremely talented tattooist whos professionalism is impeccable. Shes careful, attentive, will talk to you about your tattoo and will help you so you feel at ease and are happy with the piece youve chosen.The shop is clean and friendly with great items created by Val for sale. Other tattoo shops many times feel like dark dungeons but Vals gives you a welcoming feeling.I will only have Val do my tattoos because I know they will be extremely what I wanted and we discussed.I would like to add to remind people that some people will never be satisfied no matter what a business/other/employee will do for them. If youve worked the service industry you know exactly what Im talking about. The one thing id like to add is with reviews (even mine) is to take them with a grain of salt. they can be very slanted, a person can have sour grapes, dislike the person for reasons that have nothing to do with the asset they do and even sometimes it can be from other artists trying to discredit the artist. Call the shop, talk to the artist, go see the work. Google does NOT screen reviews to see if the person has patronized the business. Make your own decisions before taking a strangers review as gospel (including mine)

Ever since my cousin show me val’s work, i was interested in seeing what she could do for me. I had her work on a touch up and after she helped with that i knew she was the artist for me.I have never had a bad experience with her or any of the rest of the staff. Everyone that works there have been cool and easy to talk to.I have done a half sleeve and a leg piece since then and now working towards finishing another leg piece. I would recommend val or anyone in that shop for any tattoos or piercings you may be looking for.

Val is absolutely AMAZING!!!! This was my first tattoo and with Val and my sisters all there I felt right at home.

Have been to this establishment several times in the past couple years and they never disappoint!! i’ve had several tattoos done by val that had a very special meaning to me. from a memorial piece done for my mother to an autism tattoo for my son. recently i got my children’s name tattooed and my 9yr old daughter wanted to see the process not only where they accommodating they went above and beyond to make my daughter comfortable. Val and her staff answered questions and made sure she had a front row seat. thank you all who work here for the amazing art work and wonderful memories !

Their practice is to cover up anything negative and block anyone who has a problem with one of their artists work instead of trying to get with the customer to have it resolved and listening to their issues. Theyll gaslight you and refuse to communicate if you have any problems. Theyll charge you the flat rate of 100(look at the image, is that worth $100? Look at the circle on the left.), then do fifteen minutes worth of work and STILL do a rush job with wonky linework and terrible symmetry. The artists chat with and look directly at each other with the needle still in your skin.Extremely unprofessional.

We had such a wonderful experience yesterday with Mj piercing my 7 year old daughter’s ears. There was a lot if thinking about it over the past year, but we were sold when we met with Mj last week for a consult to help my daughter decide if she was truly ready. Mj walked us through everything, including doing a mock piercing on a stuffed animal. She is so good with kids and talked so kid friendly with my shy daughter that there was a lot of smiles and excitement after quickly warming up to Mj. The shop is so clean and she spent time on the fun part of letting my daughter go through the catalog to pick out the exact earrings she wanted. There was no pain or tears, during or that evening. There was the tiniest speckle of blood from only one ear right after, and no swelling or discomfort at all. Communication via Facebook messenger is awesome as well. Thanks Mi and Crowned Raven!! 🙏

Even when you set up appointments, put down deposits for tattoos, and show up on time, your artist will not. For my consultation, I showed up on time and my artist was out of state. This was an agreed upon time and date. He knew he was supposed to be there to service me and wasnt. Whatever! Mistakes happen, I understood and some other ladies helped me and took some pictures for a sketch to be drawn up. After going back and forth about some ideas, taking more photos and sending them myself because apparently the ones the ladies in the shop took didnt suffice and he wasnt there to see me in person, the artist and I had an agreed upon appointment date with deposit already paid. The day before my first appointment, I contacted my artist to make sure we were still on, because of what happened with my consultation (maybe hes a forgetful person, I want to make sure if I go to the shop that I wont be wasting my time),and was told Omg, so sorry about that but I wrote you down for the wrong month and I havent even started your sketch! A huge disappointment as I was really looking forward to having this piece done. Glad I had messaged him to check in or else I would have shown up at the shop and been told that I was forgotten about yet again. Luckily I was offered my deposit back but I will not be returning. For what I thought to be a professional, well put together shop, I was left feeling forgotten about, not important, and not worth their time. Not a place I would want to be tattooed or would recommend to anyone looking for a good professional experience. Not coming back and taking my business elsewhere which is a loss because I was looking for a few big pieces to be done.

If I could put 10 stars I would. I got my nose pierced by MJ she was very sweet and welcoming🩷🩷. She was quick and gentle. I recommend this place 100%!!!!!!

Had a great experience with Mj today. My young daughter (4yr) was at ease and laughing getting her ears pierced today. The shop was clean, nice atmosphere and custom artwork all over the walls. We will be back!

MJ was wonderful working with my 10 year old to get her ears pierced. She was patient and kind and made her feel comfortable and brave!

Very friendly atmosphere, Ive found them through an online search and love their work! My go-to is Custer for his script work, but Vals art is amazing too! Have had 4 tattoos from them so far and am looking forward for my future tattoos

Place was clean and neat. Employees were professional. Took my daughter for her first tattoo and piercing and they were very informative about how to take care of both. Asked her what she liked about her tattoo and what she didnt like before he drew it up. Would recommend Sid to anyone!

I made an app to get my nose done and she didn’t have to the correct “size” so she told me she will order it and the latest it would be would be Tuesday. That was like 2 weeks ago. Never called or nothing. I’m not saying I wouldn’t recommend this business, the lady was vv nice. Heard good things abt this place, just didn’t have a good “experience”

Crowned Raven is fabulous! They pierced my daughters ears and were fabulous with her. Tattoos here are top notch. Know that you will be treated with kindness, care, and professionalism.

I’ve been seeing val for my tattoos and piercings since i was 14. ( yes i had parental consent) she’s done all my piercings and majority of tattoos i will not go to anyone else. Her work is amazing and she’s willing to work with you to give you the tattoo you’ve wanted... The shop is very nice,clean & has friendly staff!

While the parlor itself is in a rather unexpected place, at least in my view, the artists are very friendly, and talented, and all of their work is at a reasonable price. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone.

Went with a friend to put in for a tattoo appointment. Work is good. Odd that kids were running around. In fact, an artist kept yelling at her own kid. It was very distracting

Sid did a cover up on me Im soo happy with the results he has amazing talent Im so glad I finally did this and he was the best man for the job highly recommend to anyone that wants the best tattoo

Called 3 different times and no one answered, went in instead and there were people working but no one even acknowledged us for 15 mins so we left. I will never step foot in here again.
