Easy Street Tattoo

My first tattoo was with Pete, I was very impressed with his work but he is a very hard man to get booked so I went with Josh for my other tattoos.The first tattoo with Josh was great, he listened to my ideas and worked with me on what I wanted done. The healing resulted in a slightly raised tattoo. I talked with him about this, as a raised tattoo can mean going into the skin a bit deeper than you should. Women typically have thinner skin that men. Changing how to approach a woman’s tattoo is very important as to not go too deeply.I talked with Josh about the first tattoo he had done for me and the concern that it was still raised by the time the second appointment I had booked came around. The second tattoo I had gotten, after expressing my concerns and being told “It just happens sometimes.”, I had an even more raised tattoo. It’s still raised to this day, and shiny. If you’re a woman, and if you have hyper mobility too, you cannot go so deeply into the skin as it will scar and ruin the tattoo. My whole tattoo is scarred and raised and it could have been avoided.I was very mad about this for a while because I had expressed my concerns and was hoping to be heard. I left an angry review, and I’m changing it now to reflect the whole shop.I think Josh definitely needs to listen to his customers more and learn more about different skin types and how sex can affect that. He needs to note how his technique affects his clients skin and adjust accordingly. If he does this, he has the ability to not only be a great artist but and incredibly versatile and skilled artist.As far as the rest of the shop goes, Pete is incredibly talented in his line work, the quality of ink the whole shop uses, and attention to detail and shading.Thanks for being my tattoo shop, I feel like I’ve probably exiled myself from this place by leaving a not so great review but if you’d be willing to learn with me, and adjust your technique accordingly, and accept me as a customer who is only trying to speak the truth about what happened, I’d love to return and try again.

Easy Street is a very welcoming environment with the most caring and knowledgeable staff. Josh puts the utmost attention and care into his customers intentions and his practice as an artist. He’s both a student and a master of his craft.The amount of talent under the easy street roof is insane. It’s a textbook example of how great care for your team as a whole makes for an even better working environment. The best!

I absolutely love getting tattooed here! Rukus is an awesome artist who comes up with bold and beautiful designs! The atmosphere is welcoming, and I’ve had a fantastic experience each time. 100% recommend Easy Street and all of the artists at this shop!

Easy Street is the best!!! My fiancé and I have both been here for multiple tattoos by a few of the artists available. Everyone is super chill/friendly. The environment is always great while getting tattooed. The artists remember you upon return and really put their all into giving you the best tattoo. I had the best experience. It was such a wonderful atmosphere! I emailed about a week ago hoping to get a tattoo during my spring break. Peter did an amazing job at saying his tattoo artists were booked up but they had a guest tattoo artist coming that would love to do my tattoo. David did an amazing job! Josh did an amazing job designing and inking the perfect cover-up. You cant even tell there was ever a different tattoo there. The process was very clean and professional, and it looks amazing. Would definitely come back for my next!

Ive worked with shops all over the country. Pete, Taylor, Josh, Nick, Ruckus, and the other artists here are all talented, friendly, and easy to work with. Pete is doing a complex piece that will likely be around 10-20 sessions, and hes fair priced and a brilliant artist. He makes every single piece unique and has an incredible eye for details. Ill be a lifelong customer to these guys and would like to get work done from each artist in the shop, as they all have a unique style.

Not only does this shop do world class work, but they also treat everyone that walks in with respect. Rukus has done the majority of my 30 tattoos and I couldn’t be happier with how they turned out. I get compliments regularly. I highly recommend Pete, Rukus, and Josh to anyone

Very pleased with my first time here. The shop was clean, had a good vibe to it, and was not hard to find if you are from out of town like me. Josh did a tattoo on my arm and he hit it spot on. He was very responsive through the booking process and already had it drawn up and ready to go when I got there. I felt very comfortable being worked on by him and he just has a good energy which just made for a positive experience overall.

One of the many tattoos i’ve gotten at east street. however, i’ve been to three other shops and none compare to these guys. pete,josh,taylor,and rukus are all amazing artists. i’ve gotten over 20 tattoos with them and i’ve never had an issue with any of them.

Ive been tattooed by artists around the world, and Easy Street is by far my favorite tattoo experience. This family-run shop makes YOU feel like family. Their care and attention to quality work is backed by years of OBSESSIVE experience. If they don’t think something will look good, they are happy to educate you as to why, and set you up with a piece of art that will last you a lifetime …. My expectations are ALWAYS surpassed. Im hesitant to even write this review, because they are already so booked up and hard to get in with, but the wait is well worth it!

Awesome experience. Stopped by because I noticed a new business in the old barber shop. Glad I did! I had a few vague ideas for some new ink, and there was a ton of designs on the walls. The artist there Pete was able to quickly make a customized drawing that was better than I ever imagined. The tattoo came out great, gave me a fair price, and was a cool guy to hang out with. Thank you Pete Ill be back soon to work on my sleeve.

Awesome!! I went in to get a memorial tattoo and struggled to describe what it since I was pretty emotional, but Devon drew up the perfect design from what I gave him. He was also willing to add a little detail last minute to make sure I was getting the exact tattoo I wanted. It was done very well with super thin and crispy lines. It turned out exactly like it was drawn up and I couldnt be happier about it. I will be going back to Devon and easy Street for any future tattoos and will recommend them to anyone looking for quality work.

Visiting from Florida. Tried to get a tattoo from other shops in town but only Easy Street was the only one that accepted walk ins. I’m glad they did because it was a great experience. Great atmosphere. Everyone was very friendly even with me coming in without an idea. I’ll come back if I ever visit Oshkosh again (definitely not in the winter).

I was so impressed with the knowledge of artist. They truly make you feel welcome and listen to what you want designed. Pete has a wonderful manner and a great atmosphere in his shop. Great experience and would book again!

I used to hype this shop up and recommend it to anyone I could but bit after this experience. Its been a little over a week of getting my stomach tattoo finished and Im still not happy with how things went. Pete messaged probably two weeks before my appointment to contact me in regards of my tattoo. We talked on the phone and he explained how his art has moved in a different direction and no longer wanted ro finish it but have someone else continue it. He made the guy sound like he was really good so I tried trusting him. Ive already waited 4 years and really wanted it finished. However the person he had finish it was unprofessional. Didnt do any sanitary steps that tattoo ppl usually do. Didnt shave me or wiped down with alcohol. Im not happy about that or the fact now I have two different dot patterns on my tattoo. Im also at fault as I should of spoke up about having the person that started it to also finish it. For waiting so long Im extremely disappointed especially since Pete quoted me $150 for the last session and ended up being more for something that was very poorly done. Only doing two stars instead of one bc it could be worse. Unfortunately wont be coming back.

Chilly Pete is not only an outstanding artist but also an extremely nice guy who is very easy to work with and passionate about his work. Easy Street is a very comfortable shop, Id highly recommended for anyone looking to get work done in Wisconsin!

The tattoo I got was fantastic but I was stuck waiting outside of the shop for an hour and a half before I even got through the door and then the artist told me he wasnt comfortable with the original design I showed him. He gave me his flash and thankfully I liked 1 in it or I would have wasted almost 2 hrs waiting for something. Of all of the tattoos Ive gotten i have never had it take me 3 and a half hours and still walked out with something I didnt originally go for. The piece I got is really good tho and when he got actually got to it he was fast.

By far the best tattooing experience both I myself & husband have had!Never have we left unsatisfied.. customer service is exceptional by all thier artists.. the atmosphere is relaxed & most of all welcoming..Josh has done my last 3 tattoos which are amazing .. they listen.. give input & help create that tattoo to your satisfaction.. Pete has done my husband’s tattoos(one of mine as well) & the detail of them is amazing.. he would go nowhere other then here (as we both have had dissatisfaction elsewhere!)Overall just highly satisfied from our first visit to present..Pricing more then fair and worth it!Cant help but want to go back!Thx Easy Pete’s!

This is a world class tattoo shop hidden right under the noses of anyone within driving distance. Everyone at the shop is genuinely kind, and can give you some of the best tattoos in the state or entire region for that matter. If you’re reading this, get tattooed here.

I stopped here for a estimate on a cover up. First I had to wear a mask before they would talk to me. Then they dont like to do cover up Tattoos. He was totally out of my price range for anything. I left unhappy

Communication is something that could really be worked on and not just up and tell someone to find someone eles to finish work thatd already been started just because a payment was fumbled or a little late do to the poor Communication...... People skills is key just sayn other rhan that sure it was ok
