Very happy with the experience I had here at SoCal Ink shop! Staff was polite and professional which was a huge plus for me! I previously had an uncomfortable experience after being tattooed by an artist at a different shop and was a bit hesitant to go to another male artist. Thankfully I came across JBAD on Instagram and decided to book an appointment. I was looking to get script tattooed in red ink going down my spine. JBAD gave me a quote right off the bat for the piece I wanted and was clear about the additional cost of going with colored ink over black ink. Made an appointment with JBAD for a hand tattoo. Very professional from the start, sent him a pic of what I wanted and he went ahead and detailed it with his touch. On the day of the appointment, he had the final tattoo ready and went to work. Hours later the hand tattoo came out super nice couldn’t have asked for a better person to do my hand tattoo!🤩🫶👌

Alaska Nicole young or whatever at your shop did a piercing on me that got extremely infected. I had to get it surgically removed and stitched back up now I have a huge scar on my face. 100% do not recommend this company under her specific services. Choose someone else.

A lunch turned into a spontaneous ✨️ visit to his shop. As soon as we walked in we were greeting 🙏 by a wonderful gentleman. J*B your are amazing 🌻☀️, thank you for being so attentive with us, and to the other gentleman who came and checked on us and made sure we were taken care of already🙏. Although we catch you in a busy moment your were kind enough to communicate with us every few minutes. J*B made us feel right at home and gave us the most pleasant experience. I got my second tattoo with my Jbad, overall my experience was way more pleasant than the first time I got a tattoo at a different shop. Jbad is a very passionate and patient artist, he made me feel comfortable and at ease. I was expecting a lot more pain when getting the tattoo from what I remembered however Jbad has a light and precise hand that made the pain minimal! My buddy and I came in around 8:30pm for some small walk-in tattoos. Jess hooked us up immediately and did great work with some really small, fine lines. During our time there, we cracked jokes, got to know each other, looked at the artwork, and had a damn good time. Jess is an all around good dude and does great work. Perfect representation of how the atmosphere or a tattoo parlor should be.

10 out of 10 for sure. Jbad is my artist and he is professional and very talented. He did a pretty large tattoo, minimal pain, light hand, and the tattoo is absolutely perfect. He did a portrait of my puppy and it looks exactly like him!!! Facial expressions, markings and his fur color. I have over 15 tattoos and this is now my fav piece!!! My sisters and I came to SoCal for the weekend to hold a mini memorial for our dad. We searched all around for tattoos and fell in love with the delicacy of Jbad’s work. Needless to say he NAILED it. We wanted simple, delicate tattoos and we couldn’t be more happy with the work. We actually plan on making a trip back down soon to get another one because of how happy we are with the work. They accommodated all our styles (some of us easier than others). Constantly checked on our pain and experience throughout the process. We can’t say thank you enough!

And when I requested to have my dainty tattoos done by JBad, SoCal Ink Shop worked with my schedule and got me in the next day! Walked in, super clean, and JBad was very nice with helping me detail out what I wanted. He even added more details to the palm tree than what I showed and I LOVE IT. He also touched up one of my finger tattoos. So glad I found this place and walked right in.

I had to schedule an appointment with JBad at this SoCal Ink Shop in Downtown Oxnard. I liked the way that he was very generous, friendly, patient, and calm making the experience of getting a tattoo from him. I would highly recommend going to him anytime. Prices are decent and they even use numbing spray now to not feel the stinging sensation of the needle on your skin. Jaxx did my Ashley piercing she’s very friendly & professional . I had a swelling that same day she did my piercing the swelling went down the next day it’s been four days and I only have bruising other than that i’m in love with my new piercing.

I highly recommend this tattoo shop if you are looking for attentive artists with high quality work. This is my second time coming in, for my second tattoo, and I was met with the same positivity and character from Jbad. Not only did he greet me with a conversation, he was willing to alter the tattoo to what I had in mind. A great experience with a great playlist too! You can clearly tell he loves his work; he made sure every line was sharp, every letter was pointed, and no spots of bare skin was noticeable. You will see other artists and friends walking and talking to others during your visit, but all have good intentions and even talk with you sometimes. Jbad definitely earns 5 stars for both my visits, exceeding professional and value standards. Especially when it comes to being comfortable, asking periodically if I was doing okay/in pain.
