The Fortune of War

I came across The Fortune of War last year when I wanted to treat myself to a tattoo. I wanted to do a full sleeve and had been looking for a long time to find the right artist. I walked in after following the shop and Luke on instagram. Best decision Ive ever made when it came to getting a tattoo. I booked my first appointment for a few months down the line and sent some reference material to the shop. Little did I know what I was in store for. Luke took the concept I had and picked an amazing piece of art to start with and the rest is history. Ive now been back 4 times, with a 5th on the way and the quality of work just keeps blowing me away. Every time we start a session its like we keep raising the bar on how epic the finished product will be. The shop has a great vibe and all the staff are friendly and engaging. Everytime I leave the shop I walk away with a smile on my face, not just from adding a new amazing piece of art to my arm, but having had a great overall experience and great conversation too. If youre looking for a great tattoo experience I absolutely recommend you stop in to The Fortune of War. You wont regret it.

My experience was an 11/10. Just perfect. Place was really nice and Luke Loporto’s talent is just jaw dropping. I sat for 8 hours and he put on a couple movies, was very kind, professional, great conversation skills, etc. my sleeve tattoo came out so good I can’t stop looking at it. Everyone who sees it gives me compliments on how artistically brilliant it is and how they’ve never seen a tattoo with that level of detail. I’m blown away by his work.

Always a great experience. Luke and Dave are both exceptional tattooist as well as artists. My wife and I are there getting ink at least 2-3 times a year. I highly recommend this shop and any of the tattooist that work there.
