My tattoo came out exactly how I wanted it to. I havent had any piercings since I was a teenager because my ears had always got infected and healed over. The piercer, Angel, made me feel super at home and like I was among friends! She worked with me for as long as I needed to make sure I liked the placement. Super glad I got recommended to this place!! Plus 60 bucks for both lobes including the studs? Easy. 10/10 will return! 😉🤙🏽

Angel is the bomb! First time getting a professional piercing and all the anxiety I had immediately went away when I walked into the door! Angel took such great care with informing me and made absolutely sure it was perfect. I am already planning another visit soon because the whole shop and vibe was soooo comforting and truly there is no reason to have anxiety because it was an amazing experience!! 10/10 on cleanliness / professionalism & vibe🫶🏽🫶🏽

Reyn has worked on me twice now as well as my sisters. The shop is clean and hes very professional. My 2nd piece was a cover up that came out amazing. 💯 will be back for more work. Couldnt be happier with the outcome.

This place has gorgeous art on the walls, an attentive and personable crew, and prompt responses if you reach out via Yelp which is what I did. Very amicable atmosphere and everyone in the shop including a woman also recieving ink hyped me up during and after my Iwa tattoo.Much thanks to Laurie for the gentle application and detailed result- should also mention her flexibility when I had to push back 4 days. They take walk-ins but Id recommend planning ahead and booking an appt for ease. Aloha! Put a bird on it!

Electric Jungle Tattoo is a very chill place with great tattoo artists! I got my tattoo done by Kait.She did such an amazing job! She modified my original design within a few hours and the new one ended up being so much better. She has great artistic skills and she is also very meticulous which was important for me. I can only recommend electric jungle tattoo if you are in big island, and make sure to ask for Kait! 🤙🏻

What a wonderful experience!! The guy was so friendly and honest ! Up front prices and outstanding work. I came in on a whim looking to get an old tattoo covered and he did such a fantastic job. I dont often leave reviews and when I do they are often to dismantle a bad business or skewer a terrible company. That is not the case today. Today I leave a review that is brimming with praise and adulation. Today I received a tattoo that I dare say is my favorite piece. Few people have the wit and grace to handle my banter but Laurie, Reyn, Kate, and Angel are not many people. They are, in fact, a few. With swift work and a light hand, Laurie was able to execute not just a beautiful portrait but a masterpiece of such quality that I believe I will have several passerbys going, Oh wow, sweet tat, bruh. If I had the ability, trust I would leave more stars but alas Google has left me no greater option. This is all to say: 5 out of 5 would ink again.

I scheduled my first tattoo with Reyn and it was an incredible experience. Id been wanting a tattoo for years, but could never decide on something. I realized that my desire to have tattoos was greater than my desire to have it be the perfect piece of art. I chose something that I really liked, and Reyns consultation was excellent. The process of actually being tattooed was really comfortable. He encouraged me to breathe, offered a fan, supplied water, and he really payed attention to my psychological reaction as well as my physical reactions. I tried to remain calm and relaxed, but my arm was involuntarily clenching from the sensation. Reyn kept calm and dilligent, informing me of each step of the process. His demeanor and confidence kept me calm and at peace. I wouldnt say that it was painful, Id say instead that it was sensational. Reyn gave me expert advice in aftercare and its healing beautifully. The final product was clearly skillfully done, and it looks better than I imagined. I really felt welcomed and comfortable for the time I spent in their business.Thank you very much Reyn, and Laurie for making my first tattoo a memorable and enjoyable experience. I look forward to visiting you again next time Im in Hawaii. Mahalo!(Side note: My phone fell out of my pocket in the street in Pahoa. I went back with my friend about 45 minutes later, and somebody had picked it up and placed it on the wooden walkway for me. This act of common decency and humanity was truly inspirational. Whoever that was, you enabled me to make it home and share my photographs with my famy.)

Laurie was great! I got a memorial tattoo for my dad and it couldn’t be better! The studio was clean and I was comfortable the whole time. I would however suggest second skin instead of plastic wrap for after care. Over all I would definitely go back!

Angel at Electric Jungle did our daughter’s nostril piercing. She was absolutely wonderful! Our daughter was very nervous, but Angel made her feel so much better, told her everything to expect, made her feel so calm about it. She was quick! Our daughter didn’t realize it until the bar was in! lol. The piercing is great! Our daughter loves it! And we will definitely go back to Angel for any piercings!

I got a nostril piercing here. Angel, the piercer, was amazing. Great experience overall. She was friendly and professional and did a great job. Would come back for future piercing needs.

Nice tattoo shop in Pahoa, Hawaii. Kait was my artist at Electric Jungle Tattoo and gave me exactly what I wanted. Very comfortable atmosphere, walk-in service without appointment, and only took about an hour from the moment we walked in. We traveled from Iowa to visit family that lives in the area and this was a great experience to end our vacation. Will return given the chance, highly recommend!

Yes...The legends are all true...Electric Jungle is a total experience...I had an appointment with Reyn to get a tattoo...the town and the shop are part of an artistic culture that has a amazing look and feel to it..everyone at the shop were pleasant, fun and professional all at the same time...Reyn did my tattoo work and as he worked on it I could tell how much he cares about the art..Electric Jungle is a great place to get art on yourself and you will walk away with a smile knowing it was 110 percent worth your time...I thought that I had all the tattoos I wanted...but after my experience at Electric Jungle and Reyns great work...I am starting to design my next tattoo for him to do...

Legit friendly atmosphere I came in with a couple of ideas and Reyn helped me complete it. I could not have had a better experience while getting tattooed. He was knowledgeable about the island and was part of the community around him. Truly an artist and if you go you will see what I mean. Thank you for the experience and I truly do love my tattoo.

This was my first tattoo with Laurie, and only my second one ever. She patiently indulged my revisions to the design until it was in line with my vision. We knocked it out in one session, and I couldnt be happier with the result.

We went in yesterday to have my 6 year olds ears pierced and Angel was absolutely amazing. She made my daughter feel comfortable, and was fast and precise with her placement. She did piercings for the whole family too and gave us all the individual attention needed. I highly recommend her services.

Cute shop! Popped in for a walk-in and Laurie was very nice. Very reasonable price (honestly pretty inexpensive compared to what I pay back home, especially considering the great work she did!) Pretty happy with my lil tat! I definitely recommend this shop.

I had Kait as my tattoo artist and WOW!!!! She is a great artist and she made sure I was comfortable!!!! Its been awhile since I got a tattoo, and she let me take breaks and she put this cooling/numbing stuff on me and even had chocolate for people to eat. Shes so kind I would highly recommend her or really anyone from the shop. Great atmosphere! These people really care about you and tattooing. I will be coming back here when visiting Hawaii.

Great experience. Laurie and Kait were professional but very down to earth . Out of all the tattoos I have, getting one done by Laurie was the least uncomfortable, didnt hurt at all. Tat turned out perfect! Next time I come back to the island, Ill definitely come see her again.

This has been my best experience while getting tattooed. I sent Laurie a few pictures of different luffy from the One piece anime tattoos that I was thinking of getting. Laurie was able to take the best of all those and turned it into an original. I was in the chair for about 6 hours and she did absolutely everything she could to make me comfortable. About half way through I started to get sleepy. I asked my girlfriend if she could get some coffee for me but Laurie went beyond what she needed to and made me a fresh pot of coffee. The atmosphere is very calm and relaxed while keeping it professional. 10/10 would recommend her for any anime tattoos.

Very happy with my tattoo of the Hawaiin islands! Reyn did a really great job and the shop has a really nice feel to it. Family run business with amazing local art in the entrance of the store. I was able to walk in and get my tattoo done the same day!

I had Reyn tattoo a small Japanese kanji on my left hand and even while it was healing, after I left the shop, I could tell there were blank spots and parts where he went outside the border lines. It seems Reyn tried to rush through my tattoo to get to the next person and he ended up giving me a tattoo that anyone could’ve given me with the same quality. I was excited to get a tattoo while visiting hawaii but with this experience I won’t be doing walk-in tattoos ever again.

This place has a nice vibe to it. All these really cool art right when you walk in the door. Bright colors on the outside with a really nice tattoo sign out front. The front was really helpful when I had questions about my tattoo. Her name was kait if I remember correctly. I had to fill out a form and got to talk to the artists that work there. After I talked with them for a little bit,I got to feel out the artists and their work. Both amazing artists. Definitely worth checking out. 🙌🤘🏻

Its more of a ceremony of personal evolution and transformational upgrades compared to any other shop that seems like many artist will see you as a paycheck... Reyn is not like that. Yo, I love this shop! Reyn is great and the quality of his work is off the hook! The art they sell is also amazing. This is my spot in HI for sure, respect! *Appended* I am posting pictures of my second trip as well. I had a bear on my forearm that was just mud, I turned it over to Reyn, and viola! walking into the shop, it was the shadow of a bear. You can see the before and after. (On the before pic there is some fine marker that reyn had sketched over the piece with). Whenever I am on island, you will find me under Reyns gun. He is amazing!
