Great communication from consultation, appointment to follow up. Worked with Blu and he did a great job bringing ideas to life and tattooing it. It’s also a shop that has tons of talent. All the other artist’s work looked incredible as well.

Let me start by saying how much I despise needles! However, I was interested in getting my nostril pierced again (the other side) & lately I have really wanted it done. I went to Muse because it had good reviews. I met with Tim who was just finishing up with another client & was able to do my piercing. Since I have my other side done, he placed the other side perfectly. I did tell him I was very nervous before he pierced me but he was VERY reassuring. Very clean and it honestly was so quick. I am a big baby but Tim handled my whimpers very well. Thank you Tim!

Muse Tattoo & Body Piercing Staff are on point. First, the received you like the knew you for years, treating you with courtesy and respect. They’re 100% professional on what they do and care about customers satisfaction. All my family has some arts done, and none of them have any regrets.Mario is my artist, he has done all my Tatts and my Family as well, Pedro worked one of my Sons Tatts, and Branden is my piercing guy however all of them to include Alex and Joe, they are great artists but most importantly the make you feel like home. Although I didn’t have a chance to get work done here I’d have to unfortunately agree with the comments about lack of communication and tattoo artists taking a long time to respond. I was really interested in getting a piece done but ultimately got turned off by the inconsistent communication from the artist I was messaging with. They’d take a week or more to answer me back and after some time, I lost the excitement and interest in having them do my tattoo. It’s quite confusing seeing the shop and its artists posting on social “now booking appointments” or “ reach out to book!” and then not being communicative when messaged. I’ve never had an artist be as unresponsive as this shop seems to be and it makes you less and less stoked for the tattoo and also hesitant to pay such a large amount of money for work. Probably won’t pursue this shop further and it’s a shame because it’s such a convenient location. Customer service and first impressions matter and it unfortunately made me apprehensive about coming here for work.

Great experience with the piercer, Brandon! I had my nose pierced almost 20 years ago and he could see where the hole had been and got it through! A true expert, the experience was quick and friendly.

If I could give ZERO stars I would… I’ve been going to muse for years and got over 6 different piercings there (when the old piercer guy was there) but after yesterday I will never go back or recommend them! I came in panicking because a new piercing I got fell out and I needed new jewelry. When I came in the piercer was extremely rude and arrogant and even told me I was “ghetto”. He made me wait over 30 minutes just to buy a new nose ring. After i purchased a $20 nose ring he told me I couldn’t use the bathroom to put it in and refused to help me put it in. He then snatched the nose ring from me and acted very unprofessional. I will never go back! RUDE staff and extremely uncomfortable atmosphere. And the piercer moves slow as molasses I went in a few month ago and got a dermal that took over 2 hours to do. He wasn’t confident in his work, and just very unprofessional . DO NOT GO HERE!

I highly recommend Muse tattoos for anyone looking for great tattoos and a piercer. All the tattoo artists are incredibly talented and friendly, and their work is simply amazing. I recently got a tattoo from Pedro, and I couldnt be happier with how it turned out. I will definitely be going back to Muse Tattoos for my future tattoo needs.

Great experience getting inked for the first time here. Mario was my artist and not only gave me a piece I absolutely love, but also made sure I was okay through the whole process. Clean shop, friendly staff, fair prices, talented artists, strongly recommend.

My husband passed away in Oct. My daughter and I wanted a special tattoo in remembernece of my husband and her Dad. I showed Joe Christensen what we wanted and he came up with a beautiful design that we both got tattooed. My daughter, granddaughter, and myself have had several tattoos at Muse and are always happy with what we’ve had done. My daughter and granddaughter also have had several piercings done. I highly recommend Muse for tattoos and piercings.

I would give zero stars if possible. I went to setup an appointment for June 24, 2023 2 weeks ago through their website for my daughter to get her ears pierced. I got an email reply immediately saying that the appointment was being reviewed and someone would get back to me. I never heard from anyone if the appointment was confirmed or denied. Yesterday, on June 24, my daughter and I went to Muse, the sign said the shop was open. We went in. Someone was getting a tattoo, yet nobody was at the counter. We waited almost 30 minutes and nobody came out to see us. We finally left and went somewhere else to get her ears pierced.

I got my Helix pierced here with my 2 friends on April 21st. Branden was super friendly and professional! He explained very well the after care process to us so our piercings could heal smoothly. He also worked with a very clean and sterile environment. The shop is clean and there’s never anyone waiting to be served. Everything is by appointment. I appreciated that! I came back about 3 weeks later to get another piercing and it was great. Although I was alone that time and was nervous, I was at ease because he didn’t rush or pressure me. I would recommend this shop to everyone! I traveled from Philly to Jersey and would do it again. Definitely going back soon!

I’ve came here twice, the staff was really friendly and the piercer was good as well. The only problem I have is with their communication. I’ve reached out to the piercer and the studio about possibly switching out my current helix piercings for hoops, but have not gotten anything back from them. I’ve emailed, no answer. I’ve called, no answer. I’m not sure what I’m supposed to do, since I really did enjoy coming here. But they seem to have a communication problem with their customers.

Everyone at this shop is cool as hell all professional.. They listen to you and what u want done.. The shop is clean and vibe is dope.. Joe, Alex, and Bri (aka cheese) are some of the most down to earth chill people u will ever meet.. I couldnt have picked a better shop.. If u want any art done or piercings this is the place to go hands down and the prices are great for the quality of work these guys do..

It’s unfortunate I have to give it a three stars. It’s a very chill place and the piercer is a nice dude. I scheduled an appointment probably 1 and a half weeks in advance. It took a very long time for them to confirm the appointment, probably like the day before the appointment. I thought they were never going to accept it.I emailed them a question and never got a response so I had to call them. They don’t pick up the phones a lot. I don’t know if they have someone who works front or if the artists and piercer rotate between phone, but you won’t get much of them picking up the phone.I got my navel pierced by Branden. He is a super friendly and informative guy. However, when I went in, he admitted that there was literally only THREE belly rings available. I was fine because I wanted a real basic one. But if I was the type of person to have a more dazzled one, I would of been upset.When he pierced me, he was super funny and super professional. He was even telling me all the steps he was doing which I thought was super cool.But here is the problem… I was pierced with a poor material piercing. I am not allergic to any material. But the material was not good for a fresh wound that is trying to heal. The bar was also sooooo short. Branden did tell me that I could go back in and change my jewelry but it would of made sense to just pierce me with a longer bar which unfortunately, I did not.Not only was the bar short but the balls of the piercing dug into my skin. I emailed Branden and he replied fast for like one email but stopped replying to me when I showed him the photo of my piercing(which he asked)I had to go to a different shop to get my piercing checked out and they told me that the material is poor .

Branden did my daith and rook piercing. He was very nice, friendly and informative. He is not part of the APP. I want to another piercer that is and was told that the wrong type of jewelry was used and that they were low quality. My daith was also pierced in the wrong spot and had to be taken out. I would recommended 12 Oz Studios instead of here for piercings!

Had my earlobes pierced again for the first time in YEARS. Branden did a wonderful job. He was very professional (not in the cold, clinical way, but very upbeat and happy to explain things and review instructions). The piercing was quick and painless. Ive followed their instructions religiously for aftercare, and its looking great! Gonna head back to get more done in a few weeks.

I’ve gotten 4 tattoos done by Mario. He is absolutely amazing at what he does. He made me feel very comfortable and I love the atmosphere in the shop.

I got all my tattoos and some of my piercings from Muse! Everyone is extremely professional and kind. My appointment times were spot on, no additional waiting and no waiting for an artist to be finished to work with me. A clean shop with a welcoming atmosphere made me feel comfortable enough to come back time and time again. I’ve been going to Muse for a little over 2 years now and have never left disappointed or unsatisfied with their body tattoos or piercings. The only shop I’ll get a tattoo or piercing from. 10/10 recommend.

I have gotten two piercings from Muse in the last 6 months. I’m so glad I found them. I wanted something really specific and sensitive when I came across this shop. The second piercing a face dermal so also pretty a pretty intense procedure.Their piercer, Brandon “Chillbo”, is professional, sweet and one of the best I met in the industry! What a gem! He is so thorough and explains everything with a smile and knowledgeable demeanor.

I looked around a lot and read reviews on different places, and settled on Muse. I am so happy I did! I was greeted as soon as I walked in the shop was clean and organized and everyone was cool and friendly. I got my nostril pierced by Branden, and he was amazing! And I do mean amazing, I could tell he really knows his stuff!!! Before piercing: he was very clean, gloves, mask and everything was sterile. During the piercing: he announced everything that was happening, step by step, and did my piercing with precision. After: he explained the aftercare to me thoroughly and gave me an info sheet. If you are on the fence or definitely know you want a piercing -- GO HERE Branden will hook you up!! I also want to mention that my piercing looks great with ZERO pain, ZERO swelling, ZERO redness, ZERO bleeding, ZERO soreness. This pic was taken today, my piercing is only 2.5 days old. :)

I got my nose re-pierced here and Brandon was amazing! He is so friendly and helpful. He answered all of my questions and concerns. At first I was hesitant to go here because I sent them a FB message and it was read but not replied to, so I ended up calling. But after speaking to Brandon I decided to give it a shot and the experience was great all thanks to Brandon.

Came to the East Coast from California with a fairly fresh dermal piercing. Lost the head while tubing and the guys at the shop hooked me up with a replacement on the spot for a cool $10. Friendly and super cool staff. The piercer is a real cutie ladies! The environment is spacious and clean.

This was my first time here! I went to Branden to get my jewelry switched out. What a great experience! I will definitely be back!

I went to get my septum piercing today. I really enjoyed my visit. The shop was very clean. I got my piercing done by Brianna. She was really cool and explained everything. It hurt for a split second but nothing too bad. It was just an overall great experience. I really look forward to going back. I highly recommended this shop for piercings.

I got my nose piercing done here and Brandon was professional and made the experience much easier than expected. I went back for an adjustment and ring replacement but he didnt have the nose rings at the time. So I was told to just pop in because it will take less than 5 mins for the adjustment and replace thr ring. I even tried to be proactive and still book an appt but there isnt anything available til 3 weeks out. I called a few times and never get an answer. I drove 1.5 hours and walked in with nobody sitting in the lobby and one person checking in...to be told he cant do it until July 13th. I mentioned what he told me and he just said I am sorry I am not available until the 13th. I mentioned I drove 1.5 hours and if he can recommend anyone else...he said no. I am definitely not happy...I have referred a few people here who got piercing. Maybe they should look into hiring someone who else who is talented and can help with piercing.

Got my cartilage piercing here. Branden was amazing! Super nice and helpful. It didn’t hurt and looks amazing! Overall a great experience and I’m very happy with the outcome. Love my new piercing 🥰

Friendly staff, theyre all great at their craft but have HORRIBLE communication. Takes forever to get someone on the phone, if you even get to. Email response time is the worst. Id asked about getting a few piercings done by email and in person and months went by without a response on price so I ultimately went somewhere else. Asked about getting replacement earrings and was told Id get a call in a week and a half, waited 3 weeks then left an email, tried calling and even tried getting in touch on instagram to no avail. Asked about a tat I wanted done, months went by with no response and only after Id gotten the tat done did I get an answer. I hate to say it but I just cant see myself coming here anymore.

I got a conch and helix piercing done at Muse after reading good reviews. I was pleased by the friendliness of the piercer, but unfortunately I might have to take out the helix piercing and let it close up. It was pierced on a bad angle that was not obvious at first due to the raised steel ball jewelry. It was only after getting home after a subsequent visit having a flat gem too put on (which was not in stock when pierced) that the angle became very clear. I have seen another piercer since who is an APP member who told me it was definitely pierced on that angle and not due to migration. I’m disappointed that I’ll have to wait and spend additional money to have my helix repierced.

Not sure about other artists but I have gone to Alex twice & my son also went to him. FANTASTIC!! Went in with an idea - he sketched it & it came out beautiful! Everyone there is so friendly & helpful. I have recommended them to many people. Wont go anywhere else.

Great group of tattooists. We made this our regular place a few years ago because we liked the quality, price, and location. Its clean, bright, and full of character.Edit: Downgraded from 4 to 3 stars. Lately its become a hassle to get an appointment. Its as if they dont want any work. The last time my wife and I went after leaving a $50 deposit and MAKING AN APPOINTMENT, our artist was a no-show. Luckily another artist showed up soon after we got there.

Great location, easy to get to. The tattoo artists are amazing! They can take any idea and make it a one of a kind tattoo design. I have more than 40 hours of work done by them and I will never go anywhere else! They also have 2 piercers that are very skilled and so nice.

I went 4 weeks ago for my first tattoo, and it was awesome! Evan, my tattoo artist, was extremely helpful in helping me figure out how I wanted my tattoo done, and then even more so teaching me to take care of it. I am absolutely coming back, and requesting Evan next time. Hes a great artist, and hes fun to talk with to keep you calm.

Went a couple months ago with my daughter for piercings and Brianna was great. She was very thorough with information about which style jewelry would work for the piercings we were getting. She was able to answer any questions we had and made honest recommendations, then also measured an old nose piercing for me so I’d know the best jewelry size to use. An absolute judgement free location and more importantly 100% care used for cleaning when doing the piercing as well as the use of completely newly sterilized equipment. My daughter will definitely be back to her when she gets her next piercing.We then decided to go back last week to set up an appointment to get tattoos for both of us. We were set up with tattoo artist James and left him with general ideas of what we were looking to do. Yesterday we got our tattoos and the designs James came up with were exactly what we had been wanted. Our ideas + James’ vision = Two amazing, awesome and beautiful tattoos. James continually made sure we were handling the process ok. This was my daughter’s 1st tattoo and he made the experience wonderful for her and knew when she needed a moment to regroup. Again, judgement free zone plus 100% care with cleanliness and completely newly sterilized equipment was used.We will definitely be back to Muse for our piercings with Brianna and using James for our tattoos. 💜💜💜

Ryan W is the best. He always takes what my husband and I want and kills it. Appointments are consistently on time, the shop is clean, and its super convenient to the city. Piercing Experience: May 8th, 2018 around 6pmMy original tattoo artist and piercer is 4 hours away in Upstate New York (I went to college there 8 years ago). I had gotten double nostril piercings not to long ago and wanted to put hoops in. I needed help getting the balls on the hoops so I went on Google and found this place, Muse Tattoo and Body Piercing.I called up the shop as asked if they were able to help me. Some shops will only put their own jewelry in, not jewelry that someone brings in. The piercer, I forget is name unfortunently, said that it shouldnt be a problem and to come in.When I walked in the shop I got a very good vibe. I was greeted properly and professionally. The piercer asked to look at my piercing and told me that it would not be a problem to put the balls on the hoops. He told me however that the piercing tools had just got done being sterilized and asked if I was ok with waiting dor them to cool down. ABSOLUTELY Ill wait! That right there was brownie points knowing that the shop in fact did their job of keeping not only the shop clean but their tools as well.I didnt have to wait long but while waiting the piercer kept me up to date on how much longer until he was ready for me. It didnt feel like I was waiting since he kept me up to date.He was extremely gentle when handling the piercing. He was very easy to talk to and is a natural comedian!I think I may have found my new piercer! I have decided to make this shop my regular shop for tattoos and piercings. Had a set of piercings done, and 2 tattoos buy Clay done and Im very happy with all of the work. The shop is super clean, well lit, organized, and a very comfortable atmosphere. The 2nd time I went in, Clay recognized me from when he tattood me almost 5 months back, and his work was great as always. Smooth clean lines, talked with my throughtthe tattooing to keep me calm and distract me from the pain, and gave me breaks when I needed them. Will def be going back for any future tattoos or piercings.

Shop ok. Lack of professionalism is why I wouldn’t return. Alex had me waiting almost an hr and a half before starting. I had an appointment and sent what I wanted ahead of time so I feel the wait was just unprofessional and I didn’t even get an apology. My time is just as precious as the tattoo artist.

I’ll start out by saying that the staff was very friendly, spoke to owner briefly when I was there one day seemed like a nice guy. Got multiple tattoos done by joe. Always payed the price and tipped him generously. My last tattoo Joe knew I was not to thrilled with the way it came out, now know it is still healing and was not done that long ago and wanted just a little shade of red in it. Not a big tattoo. Joe wanted to charge me another $65 dollars on top of the $250 I already payed and a $50 dollar tip. I thought this was very unfair. So if ur looking for a shop that will take care of you keep looking because I feel this place just wants ur money

I have gotten two cover-up tattoos at this very clean, very professional establishment. They have a rotating art gallery of sorts in the front half of the shop, featuring different artists. They also sell merch/t-shirts. The tattoos are done by very talented artists. I havent gotten pierced there, but I have heard good things about their piercer. My go-to tattoo artist is now Clay Willoughby since hes just done such fantaistic work on my cover-ups. I am and will continue to be a repeat customer here. This is a great shop and I kick myself for waiting as long as I did to finally go in and ask about what they could do for me/my cover ups. I cant say enough for this place.

Brandon is the best, he really knows his art! He takes his time to explain everything to you, in language you can understand and answers all your questions without making you feel as though you are getting on his nerves or wasting his time. I have no problem referring family and friends to him.

I got my septum piercing done by Brianna and it looks great. Brianna was extremely sweet and super helpful with any questions I had and with aftercare instructions.

I emailed them about getting a tongue piercing and they told me they were doing them again so I showed up for my appointment and they told me in person they weren’t doing tongue piercings yet. They lied to me and I’m very disappointed and will not be going to this location for any of my piercings because I can’t trust them.

Despite the outter appearance of the shop, the overall experience was great! I was a little nervous going in to get it done, but he automatically put my mind to ease telling me all his qualifications and what he was going to do before it happened.

I got a very small tattoo done here and they charged me $100 and its absolutely outrageous! Its literally 3in x 3in, maybe slightly bigger. I would like to go back but the prices that they charge seem to be a bit ridiculous.

They are thieves. I went there and made the appointment with Alex and paid $100 as an advance payment and one day before the appointment they canceled me and they were going to reschedule me and they never gave me the other appointment.
