Hip Hop is one of the best piercings I’ve ever met!! I only let him pierce me and trust him he’ll do the best work. He made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. The whole staff there is amazing

The environment is Halloween-esque so the vibes are pretty great. I got pierced here as a walk in and they were very transparent with the timing and how long I’ll wait before I’m seen. I even called in and the receptionist was very friendly! I would definitely come here again and they even do vein checks which I think is pretty cool. 10/10 ❤️

Just wanted to shout out a big thank you to Isaias chocolatl for taking time out of his busy schedule to fix a tattoo that i have been depressed about for many years and turned it into a piece of art. He is truely a a talented artist that did some work on my mother and now with me her four daughters also my niece and nephew. Very trustworthy and very proffesional. I am sooo happy i chose him. His name is HipHopFirst time I went here was with my mom and I was 16, I knew what I wanted and in total it was 4 piercings. there was only one piercer who worked there and his name was HipHop, he recommended to do 2 first and come back for the other 2 due to the maintenance and me being new to body modification.. so I did. I got 4 piercings in the span of 2 weeks and the amount of crying and complaining I did before he even TAPPED me with the needle is insane. Yet he somehow calmed me down and also made me laugh with his jokes and automatically i was comfortable and ready to get pierced. I took care of them like youre supposed to but a lot less than I was required/recommended to and yet had no rejections, keloids, or any other problems. they all healed 100%. Right then and there, I trusted him and ONLY him with piercings. I am now 18 and he worked on 8 more piercings, again took care but not as much as i shouldve. AGAIN no keloids, no rejections, NO PROBLEMS. I also got half a sleeve done by him not too long ago- a portrait of Medusa, which he sketched and prepped in a time span of LESS than a day bc i was too eager and couldnt wait. Til this day I get complimented every time the sleeve of my shirt is rolled up. If you want a piercer and a tattoo artist who you can trust 100%, and gives you EXACTLY what you ask for, including knowing how to handle with you being little to above and beyond nervous, go to district 36 tattoo parlor and ask for HipHop, I PROMISE you wont regret.

I got my nose pierced at this establishment and I must say that I had such a positive experience. The customer service was top notch! Hip Hop pierced my nose, and he was really gentle and educated me on my piercing and after care. I highly recommend District Thirty Six if youre looking to get a piercing or tattoo!

I don’t usually leave reviews but I think I have to. Jay is an extremely skilled artist and I would recommend anyone (first timer or not) to get work done by him at this establishment. No complaints and went above and beyond with his work.

My experience was great. I arrived at 11 and Jay B greeted me and went over the tattoo design with me, made some adjustments that I requested and then we got started. The shop was clean, smelled good, & I felt very comfortable. Jay B was friendly and worked in a timely manner and had a great attention to detail. I will absolutely be back to add to my sleeve. Wonderful customer service! Very nice people but I came here to get my nose repierced so it would match the other nostril.. literally my only reason for repiercing at all was so the two would match the piercer measured and all seemed well until I got home and put a ring in. They’re uneven again and now I have an extra hole in my face. I’m super disappointed because now I can’t even do it again :/

My piercer was so gentle! Ive been here twice and never had any issues. Would definitely recommend coming here if you’re getting a piercing! I got my belly redone and my smiley in one day and left in no pain at all.

Just got a Tattoo at this shop today. I walked in everyone was friendly and felt welcomed. I am pleased to say that Isaiah did an amazing job on my tattoo. He was awesome I will be coming back. My tattoo was done in less than 3 hours. His vibe and skills were on point!!!!!!!!!!

This place is AMAZING. Super clean and organized. The owner is so professional and listens to exactly what you want done. The work here is great - very talented tattoo artists and piercer. As soon as you walk in, you feel so welcomed because you are greeted by the friendly front desk staff. It was super easy to make an appointment and they also take walk ins on certain days. Im surprized how excelent this parlor is. Stuff makes you feel like you are special. Tattoo looks beautiful and what surprised me even more was how quick it healed. No redness, pain or etching.

The Piercer Cici is really great! She was very sweet & funny! Overall I loved my experience getting my piercings at the shop. I would definitely go back. The owner & the receptionist is really cool too. To have a tattoo shop in Passaic is really dope!

Ishmael pierced my nipples was very clean & professional. The shop have a very home loving vibe. Will definitely be back for my VCH piercing which will be done by him as well. I highly recommend this shop and Ishmael the Nipple Master soon to be future Cookie Master 🥰

Absolutely terrible. Would be one star if possible. Got septum with my friend and my bf wanted normal ear piercings. Peircer told us it would be $36 but for EACH EAR! He really wanted to get at least something so we reluctantly agreed and after it was too late the piercer used a cheap dollar piercing gun made of plastic. A whole year later and it’s been infected all year but we tried to tuff it out since it was nearly $100 and lastly had to remove them. Absolutely horrendous.

I stopped in for a piercing and from the door the customer service and professionalism was 💯. Cici’s (piercer) customer service skills were on point 🙌🏾 and that hands down is the best thing any business can have. Trust me I was looking around at the tools and I was not afraid to say how nervous I was before getting this piercing; however, she was patient and did her thang.... She would literally have you wanting more piercings right after. And she offered me water and not no cup it was a bottle guys👀...man with this summer heat even though it was a bit cool today water is liquid gold🙌🏾 Love my new piercing and it does not hurt at all.

We were waiting long time for the guy who puts the piercings, and he postponed all the time, he said 30 minutes, after 15 minutes and 15 minutes mores, he can’t play with his costumer’s time, that is very disrespectful, zero professional. Dont Recommend this place.

So i went to get my industrial done and I have to say Cece was amazing she was very quick and knowledgeable and it came out really good. Overall the shop is clean you can even smell it when you walk in and the people are very friendly. So I’ll be back to do some tat work too A+
