Long Island Ink tattoo

NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I RECEIVED SUCH A POOR TATTOO. LIL DAN SCARRED MY SKIN, AND WHAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A HOLY DOVE (partial cover up over something that was already very faint) LOOKS LIKE A STANDING PENGUIN. THE BODY IS WEIRD AND A SYMMETRICAL, THE WINGS ON ONE SIDE ARE JUST SQUARED OFF WITH NO DEFINITION. IT IS INSANE THAT THIS PERSON THOUGHT IT’S OKAY TO DO THIS TO MY ARM. A DERMATOLOGIST SAID HE SCARRED THE LOWER EPIDERMIS LAYERS ON ALL THE OUTER LINES:(( THE OWNER REFUSED TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY BY COMPENSATING ME TO LASER THIS OFF OR EVEN ADDRESS THE SCARS THAT SOMEONE WHO REPRESENTS HIS BUSINESS DID TO ME. HIS SOLUTION WAS TO ADD MORE INK TO A TRAUMATIZED AREA WHICH MAKES ZERO SENSE. LASER REMOVAL IS VERY PAINFUL AND $$. THEY SHOULD TAKE RESPONSIBLITY FOR THIS MISTAKE. BUYER BEWARE. SEE PHOTOS OF THIS FOR YOURSELF.

Had a great experience here at long island ink! i went to George who is amazing and is the most chill and funny guy ever. he really listens to you and what you want but will give feedback on the design so it can come out perfect. i have been seeing him for almost a year and i have enjoyed every session i have had with him definitely recommend!

Well, I had liberty of the night only putting money down and making an appointment….. But also, the artist refused to realign the piece the way I wanted it. Also, the whole piece I wanted wasn’t completed. First estimate was given, came back to next day and he raised the price by $150. On top of that coming in on my appointment day, he did not have everything completed and ready to be done. Who gets an appointment in five days? And doesn’t have the stencil done? Or better yet talking me out of my tattoo appointment after an hour and a half? What I wanted done not done. Who talks a customer out of the tattoo? Wouldn’t even attempt to draw it up? Which is something that should’ve been done to begin with. Sad to say this Statement, but my last tattoo I got from here I was pleased with the price and the person doing it. Apparently, this place is turned upside down and overcharges.

My friend and I got inner bottom lip tattoo done by a wonderful guy named lil Dan. I 100% recommend this place. The employees are respectful, kind and funny. Totally would go again. :)

Best tattoo shop on Long Island. Artist Billy goes above and beyond with each piece I get from him. He never lets me leave looking stupid. Great conversationalist, good vibes, good prices, and above all fantastic work.

Horrible experience. A year and a month ago I went to get my nose pierced. I don’t remember her name, but a lady ended up doing my piercing. it did not go smoothly because she wasn’t able to get it through my nose and it was stuck. She kept twisting and poking at it but it wouldn’t go through so she called for help. Billy then came in and was able to get it through my nose, but it hurt so bad. She said she’s never dealt with cartilage ‘that thick’ before lol. once Billy was able to get it through, the lady then finished it off, but didn’t corkscrew the end of the stud and left it open. After going home the next day , my Stud fell out when I was sleeping, so I went to get it put back in. It was the same lady again and she tried to put the jewelry back in, but my hole already closed. She ended up having to re-pierce it, but my nose was so swollen that the stud kept popping out and it wasn’t staying in my nose. I waited a month and a half to get it re-pierced, and it was the same lady and she pierced it on a horrible, horrible angle. I left it alone until last month which has been a year since I got it pierced. I wanted to change it into a nose ring, and I went to a different tattoo/piercing shop and they said it was pierced at a wrong angle, and they had to re-pierce my nose again. when they took out the old stud my nose was bleeding and pus was coming out. They told me that it was infected even a year after getting it pierced. I went to a second tattoo/piercing shop just this month and they said the exact same thing. I called Long Island Inc. and they told me they can’t do anything about it even though the tattoo place took pictures for me and you can clearly see how crooked my piercing is lol.

Never disappoints. This shop is clean and the staff is friendly. Needed a cover up done and they drew out exactly what I envisioned. Will be back for sure.

I have never gotten pierced here but who I presume is the owner is always very kind and helpful. He removed an infected nose ring for me free of charge and has replaced jewelry for me in the past. Very nice place with respectful and kind people!

These people are honest and ridiculously kind and understanding! I put a deposit down on a tattoo that I really wanted to get here while visiting from out of town. Sammy created the PERFECT design! I was then unable to get the tattoo because it was going to be unsafe with an autoimmune condition I have. I went in to explain and ask Billy’s opinion. I’m a very trusting person- he could have taken my money, told me it would be fine, and sent me on my way. But instead- he gave me a full refund and told me he wanted to be careful and not have me take that risk. The guy is solid, has integrity and empathy and does incredible work! So does Sammy!! Go in and check these people out! 10/10 recommend! ❤️ THANK YOU, guys!

My sister got her nose pierced here by Billy. It looks beautiful.I personally got my nipples pierced by Billy, and they look great.No infections, quick and as painless as he could possibly make it. The atmosphere is very comfortable as well!!

I get tattooed by Alexa and she is so talented! Every time I have come in she is warm and welcoming. I got my first large piece with her and she made it an amazing experience. Strongly recommend her and the shop

Alexa did such a beautiful Tattoo on my back! I brought her an image of what i wanted, told her about the changes Id like in order to personalize it, she drew a very similar image with the changes and then tattooed me. Painless and beautiful! Before I left she pierced my ear and pierced an area of the cartilage on my ear... very inexpensive! I ended up taking my guy back there a week later (today) and she tattooed him too, he loved it! We are going back for more. I highly recommend this AWESOME Tattoo Artist!

I did a walk in tattoo tonight with Alexa and she did such an amazing job. A small, but inviting shop filled with character. Her and the other gentleman that attended me (I think his name was Billy) made for wonderful conversation and we’re very kind. This place is amazing. My sister and I went here a couple of weeks ago to get snake eyes piercings. Very hygienic and professional. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!Update: I’ve had to return a couple of times in the last few weeks for really dumb things ex:I swallowed my jewelry. I just wanted to say Billy has been so sweet, patient, and accommodating. I’m actually going in today and looking forward to seeing him.

Great place, fit me right in. Ive gotten piercings/tattoos done by Bill. He did my cover up on my wrist, he was very gentle!!!! I send my family and friends to them only. He is amazing, and I definitely recommend getting your next tattoo done by him.

I got my nipples pierced finally after being super afraid of the pain.. thankfully life brought me to this shop. It was a spontaneous decision but I’m happy to say my experience was sooo wonderful. I don’t know the name of the piercer but he did it super quick. Yes it was painful but quick piercing=quick pain. Felicia is amazing and I’m so glad she held me hand through it all! 10/10 will recommend to anyone and will be returning to get other piercings! My nipples don’t hurt at all either. I like to think the piercer has something to do with this 😇💓

I had an intimate area piercing (hch) done today and Billy was great!!!!! I was sooo nervous and chatty and giddy.Billy was very patient and personable. I was hoping to have found a woman for this piercing but Billy is 100 percent respectful and professional yet will allow you to scream and release the adrenaline!The location is nice and clean and the price is more than reasonable. I will be bringing friends, even if they dont want piercings, they are getting them here !! Thanks Billy!!!!!💉😎🙏🏾Update: I returned for a nose piercing. Billy is great. No pain. No issues with healing. Just a great experience..I was there with other returned clients and a stranger held my hand haha. Love this place and its artists. Always clean and accommodating. Everyone is Very professional. I have gotten a few tattoos here and plan on getting more. Ive also had some of my piercings done here. Long Island Ink is an outstanding tattoo Studio.

I went here for my first tattoo yesterday and I had Billy as my artist. I was extremely nervous and went by myself to get a tattoo of my grandmas signature from a card who had recently passed away in May. I went on my birthday so it was a very sentimental moment for me. Billy talked me through the process and gave me water and a wet towel for my neck after I felt dizzy from my nerves. I would highly recommend this shop and Im grateful I had Billy as my tattoo artist.

Very good shop. Bill repierced my belly button for me easily. I was worried with the scar tissue it would be some trouble but it was quickly done. He was very professional, and I was only in pain for a split second. I highly recommend this place! Very happy with my visit. Cash only by the way.

I’ve visited their Douglasville locations and Long Island, everyone I’ve encountered had been amazing and sweet. I’ve had some ebbs and flows with the recovery process for my nose piercing and they’ve helped every step of the way.

One of the few places that offers the typically frowned up “snake eyes” piercing, and definitely one of the very few who does it RIGHT based on my experience & what i’ve seen on others. I had Billy for my tongue & a bunch of different ear piercings and everything was clean, quick & as comfortable as possible. As far as the snake eyes goes I waited for mine to heal before leaving a review to assure everyone that they’re the real deal. Based on my research & personal experience Billy executed everything perfectly. He even starts you out with the longer bar and tells you the exact size down to get when swelling stops (sounds like common sense but not everyone does that, i tried this piercing from someone else prior & had to remove it completely) . My tongue looks and feels great & it’s definitely a flex to have this piercing and also have no issues with it, the piercer and jewelry size knowledge makes a huge difference. My ears are also healing as expected & I plan to go back when I’m ready to change earrings. Overall professional place & friendly staff. Good experience 100%.

Chris is an amazing artist and person. I love my tattoos and get many compliments on them. I am so glad that my son convinced me to let him do my tattoos. I had a bad experience at another shop in Douglasville but, gladly, it is no longer open. I feel totally comfortable at Long Island Ink.Of course, we love Devo too!!(Camerons mom)

We loved coming here!! We got a couple piercings and a tattoo. The owner tattoos with a gentle hand and the lines look amazing. Quick with the piercings too.

Well after going to 3 other tattoo shops and asking them to draw up a tattoo for me that I wanted and nobody really wanted to sit down and do it I went here and spoke to Rafael and he took my idea drew it up perfectly and did a great job on my tattoo. We need more artists like him if you want a great tattoo then go see him he is a nice guy great attitude.
