Went in today for a Friday the 13th tattoo & I loved it there. The hospitality & atmosphere were immaculate! The staff were truly amazing! So happy I went there :) will be coming back soon!

Me and a friend walked in with no appointment right after they opened and we wanted some Piercings I got my nose done and I had them fix my right ear with a new piercing and my friend got his nose pierced as well. The placement of all of the work was very important to me and they exceeded my expectations! The staff was very welcoming and the place was very clean and the price was very reasonable and they answered all my questions about some more future tattoo ideas that I was looking for. 10/10 will be going back and if anyone out there is looking for anything done these guys are the best in the Paterson area

Got my nose pierced took about less then 15 minutes was practically painless and healed perfectly in less then 2 weeks, i also bought there sea salt sterilizer to clean the peircing daily and it helped too

I walked in with my two sisters and the atmosphere was so welcoming. We spoke to Carlito on the phone as he was very understanding and collective. The environment was very clean and safe. Carlito understood what we wanted and explained the healing process and what to expect. He was very knowledgeable and I recommend going there, definitely a 10/10 experience.

Walked in for an impromptu nose piercing and small finger tattoo and immediately remembered that Id been here before, almost ten years prior, and the tattoo I got back then is still in perfect condition. The piercing and finger tattoo were quick and painless, the owners explained aftercare thoroughly and were super patient with me. They do great work here and the pricing is perfectly reasonable. Definitely a go-to!

My experience here was great! They were very patient, friendly, and insightful. They certainly made my first tattoo experience a great one and I am in love with the design they did. My artist even added in his own personal touches to my consent and they were an excellent addition. I will definitely be coming in in the future so I can finish a whole sleeve.Edit: October 4th 2023 just went in my second time and got a simple hand tattoo done and once again never fail to impress it was done with ease and symmetrical as requested. The artist was very light handed which made for a quick and easy time. In and out in roughly 30 minutes no appointment needed!

I went to get a simple piercing and got my moneys worth. The gentlemen that attended me did a great job of my piercings and wasnt painful. My brother also decided to get a tattoo and he got that done pretty quickly. Their overall service was efficient and fairly priced.

I called about forty minutes before they closed and they said they could see me. I arrived and they were super friendly. The place is small but clean and laid back. I got the septum piercing and it cost $65. ALL my questions were answered patiently and the guy who pierced me was super compassionate. I was so nervous but he put me at ease. I thought it was going to hurt really bad but it wasnt bad at all. He did it swiftly. Im so happy and I am going to go for more piercings soon! Thanks!

I was recommended to addiction Tattoo by someone and lemme tell you the staff the artist everyone was so nice I came in at 6:00 as a walk-in, with a decent size tattoo and they took me in even stayed an hour past closing to finish. I got my first tattoo done at Addiction Tattoo recently and it was the best experience ever. The staff there was so friendly and the shop was so clean. I went in there about a week in advance and told them what I wanted I booked an appointment and wasnt disappointed. The tat was absolutely amazing and I love it. Would definitely recommend to my friends and would definitely go back.

Saw on IG about a promo they were running for a half sleeve for $600. Made appointments for two people to be tattooed the Inked Out convention. Appointments were made mid-August. Told that we’d hear from them in a week or so with the sketch and to pick up tickets. We reached out 3 weeks later and they told us that they’d reach out the next day with the sketch and when to get the tickets. Didn’t hear from them. We reach out again and they then tell us that the artist got into an accident and can’t tattoo for 2 weeks (yet the injuries require much longer healing time). Said they were upset to cancel the convention. We saw on IG that the artist is actually at a different shop and saw this shop was still at the convention.Not sure why they couldn’t reach out between the 3 weeks of making the appointment to us reaching out to them. Then giving a story instead of just explaining they’d give us a different artist. Very unprofessional.At least they were willing to refund our deposit in full.

This place is great, staff was cool as cucumbers and my artist did an amazing job on my tat. Took longer than predicted but such a friendly and outgoing staff made me want to stay even after the tattoo was done. I would rate this place more than 5 stars if given the option. WHEEL IS GREAT !!!!!!! already planning to get my other tattoos done from him and actually got the ideas from him as well ! also, me and my friend had an unnecessary emotional break down during the process and they helped up regain focus and took a break so we can regroup. Literally in love with this place.

I meant to write this weeks ago but anyway, this place is amazing! I had walked in with a small idea of what I wanted my tattoo to be, and the artist that I was working with easily helped me finalize what I really wanted. The guys here are super friendly and create such an awesome atmosphere. I would really recommend Dave, the artist that I had, because he was so nice and understanding being that this was my first tattoo. He talked with me the entire time of getting my tattoo and the tattoo didnt hurt one bit. Definitely happy that I chose this place to get my tattoo :)

Got a tattoo done this past Monday and couldnt be happier. I made an appointment only an hour ahead of time and it was no problem. My tattoo artist, Dave, made sure I was comfortable at all times. Dave is extremely skilled at his craft. He took the time to draw (and redraw) what I wanted until it was perfect. My tattoo came out better than I ever imagined! The entire experience was a pleasant one, from the friendly staff to the sterile environment. I will definitely be back!

Went last night with my two best friends. One got a piercing which was inexpensive, pain-free and beautiful. I got a tattoo which I love and for a great price as well. This place is probably one of THE best places to go to NJ! So far Ive received 3 tattoos from their artist Wheel. The first time i went in, which I wont ever forget was on 3/31/14. I remember being so nervous and when I finally went in Wheel managed to make me feel comfortable and relax a little. Since then Ive been coming back to add new art to my body! All the staff are very nice and give the shop a very relaxing vibe. The music they play is pretty awesome too! Ive had some really good experiences there and now theyve got me as a permanent customer! I would recommend anyone that lives in Jersey to come here and get some tattoos/piercings.The work is high quality and the staff are really chill!

Addiction Tattoo is by far the best tattoo shop i have ever been to! The customer service is great! Right when you walk in someone greets you nicely and helps you out. Tito helped me pick my tattoo out & gave me the perfect price for it! I felt very comfortable while getting my tattoo, Bobby, & Dave were talking to me while i was getting my tattoo, which what they were doing was distracting me from the pain. The shop is very clean, & sterile. Safe place to get a tattoo! Overall i loved this shop, loved my new tattoo & will be coming back to get the rest of my tattoos done! Five star experience last weekend! I had been wanting a very personal tattoo done on my wrist for about 6 months now, and finally decided to do it one afternoon while running errands.I walked in, and James took me right away. After some discussion, he sketched up my tattoo and we were ready to go. I was in and out with my new tattoo in no time, and it’s better than I envisioned.The shop is extremely clean, everyone was friendly and the prices are very fair. I will definitely be back.

Went to addiction tattoo on 10/16/2014 to get my right nipple pierced. Bobby was such a sweet and nice person, and gave me some good tips for keeping my piercing clean and healthy. Will definitely be going back to get another piercing and probably even a tattoo hopefully. Also the price was not bad compared to other places in Jersey. I would absolutely recommend my friends to come here. Awesome.

I went here on Friday the 13th with friends for a small, cheap tattoo. The shop was spotless. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the artists were awesome. They really took their time with their work and did an awesome job. I got my tattoo on my side/rib area and my artist made me feel very calm and was very patient throughout. I will definitely be going back! I reccomment this place, cleanest, friendliest place Ive been to so far!

I have been to this shop twice now and had work done by the artist Wheel (black and grey magician). Nothing but good things to say, about the staff and management. They do well to keep a family-friendly ambiance to make customers feel welcome and comfortable. The pricing might make you hesitant at first, but Dave has worked with me both times I have been there and has always been fair about it. A friend of mine got a color piece done by artist Javier and it came out beautifully. Definitely gonna be back for more.

I was greeted by David and amazed by the varieties of selections they had to offered. I met Dave the tattoo artist and I explained to him what I wanted. He drew it and it looked better then what I imagined. I had my last name tattoo on my forearm. His work is EXCEPTIONAL and detailed.The attention I received was if I was in a five star hotel. They took the time to make sure I was comfortable and they offered me something to drink. They were very professional and the price was less then all the other shops I have been too. It must be a good place.I called first and decided to check the place, my idea was to maybe come back another day, but they were so cool that I decided to do it at the same time, even my friend joined and get her first piercing.Remember to bring cash!

Got my nose pierced here today and it looks great. Amazing and comfortable experience here. Afterwards I felt light headed and they immediately ran across the street and bought me a water bottle and lolipop. Very nice people. Price was great too. Definitely coming back for further tattoos and piercings!

I got my first and only tattoo 20 years ago. I have been thinking about getting another one for some time now. Working in a hospital setting really cant have much showing. Do not want to raise any questions. I wanted to find a place with good reputation and good artists. Addiction Tattoo in Paterson NJ had the best reviews. I called them up to do a walk in. The place is very clean and the artists were very nice and informative. There was no pressure and no judgement that I did not want the tattoo showing to much. I was about to get it that day but happened to say that we were going to the beach next day. Instead of just thinking about the money, they said, not to do it because it will burn and will be messed up. So I rescheduled for next week. My artist did exactly what I wanted!!!!! The tattoo looks great!!! Wheels was my tattoo artist. The entire staff was great and treated myself and my family with respect. I highly recommend Addiction Tattoo in Paterson NJ. When I gave my artist a tip, (not sure if thats what people do) but he was surprised and very greatfull!!

I went on Friday with my best friend and we got matching tattoos and piercings. Dave gave us a great price for both the tattoo and piercing. I.E Bobby was the best with our piercings!!! Definitely will be going back for any future piercings or tattoos. I recommend to anyone whos looking for a place to go get tatted.

I went to get a helix piercing about a month ago from here. This wasnt my first time here for a piercing. My second time was horrible due to the quality jewelry they used for my helix. With expectation, Im assuming the jewelry used would be sterling steel. Two weeks after the piercing, it swelled up into a bump (at first which I thought was normal) alongside my ear started to turn black in the area of the piercing. My ear turning colors usually only happen if my jewelry is fake or is not sterling steel. I took the bold chance of changing the jewelry after purchasing actual sterling steel jew. and the bump and discoloring went away within a few days. Staff was nice but this is a poor job. I wouldnt trust getting another piercing here anymore.UPDATE: 5:02PMThe owner responded accusing my body of rejecting the piercing, when it fact it didnt. As soon I replaced the poor quality jewelry they used, my piercing began healing as it should have. Meaning it wasnt rejected. For the owner to deflect accountability for numerous people on this review should be a red flag not to get your piercings done here.

Great customer service and very caring and courteous staff members. I just got my tragus pierced today and as usual I always feel like I’m going to faint after the piercing. The guys there were so caring and got me a cold water bottle and some candy and asked me to sit there until i feel completely ok. Will definitely recommend this place.

After contemplating about getting a tattoo coverup for well over a year, I found addicted tattoo. I decided to go in and have them check out my tattoo to see what the best cover up would be. We decided on a feather, which had been my first choice. The workers and my artist, Wheel, were very personable. And the even better fact is that my tattoo came out amazing!! My cousin went in to get her belly pierced the place isn’t as welcoming TBH but who cares as long as they do a good job .The guy that did her piercing (did not seem like the owner) was SO rough she’s been bleeding for hours and it’s been super swollen. He twisted the tongs and her belly button like nothing. Then when done he rushed and pulled the tongs back and pulled the piercing with it. Hopefully it doesn’t get infected. He put his gloves on and was walking around the shop with them on also which I wasn’t a fan of either before even doing the job.It’s not her first time getting the piercing so it’s not like she doesn’t know the feel of it to say maybe she’s being dramatic. I was also there and saw even have videos.

I was a little nervous at first since I never been tatted here before but honestly I can say hands down , Wheel did an amazing job and I am satisfied with my tattoo and how addiction tattoo carry theyre business. I told Wheel I want roses in memory of my mom and designs that match my other tattoo . In 15 minutes he drew it out and asked how I felt about it and I fell in love with his work. I was still on the edge but I trusted him alil more now that I saw what he could do. And it all paid off Everything was legit, and my tattoo is healing beautifully Im so happy and theyre service was as if they knew me all I life. I went in today to inquire about a nose piercing & a script tattoo on my foot. The gentlemen were extremely helpful & kind. I was able to get both things done on the same day. Around 7:40pm we were wondering where to go to get tatted, since our usual place closes at 9pm. We came on Google and found this location. Addiction Tattooz. I am a person based on reviews and lemme tell you something, AMAZING, and very friendly. Why? Because, we showed up 9:30pm, and one of the artists had already left! Since my fiancé and I both wanted to get inked, the owner called back his artist and he was more than ecstatic to attend! Honestly the fact that they truly made us feel welcomed and prices were very reasonable due to the patience they have. They make sure that details are precise(:Sure its in Paterson, but its not the bad area if thats what youre afraid of. Theyre in a quiet area, so dont let that affect your decision. definitely a customer for life now! I came here to cover a tattoo on my shoulder. They were really friendly and heart warming people. I walked in and they took me in asap and helped me. BOBBY did my tattoo and i am so happy with it. This place was extremely vibey!! Me and my twin got matching tats it took my sis about 30 mins and it took me half of her time !! They were cool the tats came out dope ! And it was 60 each !! No complaints I have about 22 tats already and I def will come again!!!

I went here to get my first tattoo ever. My friend and I chose this place based solely on google reviews. Reviews showed this place got all 5 stars in 64/64 reviews....seems so untrue. As my first time, I was very skeptical about getting a tattoo in general and had a lot of questions and I have to say im disappointed about my overall experience here. We called before we came in for basic inquiries, they told us it would be $60, then when we got there, it came to $88 with tax. The man who did our tattoo seemed inconvenienced by us. When he drew up our initial sketch, we asked for it to be smaller; he rolled his eyes and when he came back it was barely any smaller. Nervous, we just decided to accept and proceed. I expressed to him I was nervous and he didnt seem to care. He placed us directly in the middle of the room, when we could see there were more private areas available-- we got upper rib tattoos, so not very respectful that our shirts were completely up-- anyone walking in and out could see us. While he was tattooing me, he was very harshly dabbing my skin after applying ink. Before I got a chance to see my tattoo, he stated you kept moving, its messed up and I dont like it, so Im going to have to go over it again. I was horrified that I made a huge mistake. I dont believe he put his best effort in giving us what we were looking for and it definitely isnt his best work im sure. If I hadnt asked, he wouldnt have given me instructions on aftercare. So disappointed and wish my first experience was somewhere else.

I have asked many people where they had their tattoos done and where they recommend I go.I have researched many places, but when this place came up I noticed the reviews were solid. It was close to me so I thought I would go check it out. Its always better to go see for yourself anyways. I was trying to find a good place, for my ideas. I ended up finding more than that.The artist that helped me, his name is wheel. The kind of guy who doesnt have to speak about how good his art is. He is humble and honest. Also, how much creativity he holds, is insane.With all the detail I wanted, I wasnt sure if Id be able to fit everything I wanted into a certain area or just one tattoo.Wheel bounced ideas with me. The first time I told him about my what I wanted, we took about 2-3 hours sketching and researching. He tried more than anything and thats what I appreciate. He gave me his professional opinion. He stayed real with me the entire time. Letting me know what was possible or what wasnt. However, every idea and detail I had, he found a way to fit it in. Actually, he made it even better.The owner of the shop is friendly. Ive met him twice and I can tell he has a big heart and is extremely passionate about his work.The shop itself is clean, full of positive vibes, and has the most down to earth people youll ever meet.I wont be going anywhere else. Two years ago, Bobby Glennon did an amazing Cheetah head tattoo for me when he was working in Morristown. A few days ago, I came back to him for a music note tattoo. I wouldnt go to anyone else. He is incredibly talented and has an acute attention to detail. He is outstanding at doing realistic tattoos. I have recommended Bobby to two of my friends and will continue to recommend him to anyone who wants a quality tattoo. Not only is he an amazing artist, but he is also a genuine, down-to-earth person who is pleasant to talk to while he works.All of the staff at Addiction Tattoo were friendly and helpful, making my experience at the shop a positive one. Came here to get my nipples pierced a little while ago, a guy named Wheel did mine and he was absolutely awesome. I was so nervous but he was patient and really down to earth. Got my tattoo on May 31st of a Scorpion on my forearm. Tito is an amazing artist. its not easy to find and trust someone with the appealing looks and artwork on your body. I highly recommend people to give them a try. I cant wait to go back!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. A few weeks after getting my nostril pierced, a bump formed underneath it pushing the jewelry to the side. All the symptoms pointed to a piercing rejection (fleshy bump, jewelry was being pushed to the side, any remedy used made the bump worse) but when I went back in, they looked at it for like 5 seconds and told me everything was fine and to just try the usual remedies for a typical hypertrophic bump. I didn’t trust it 100% so I went to go see another shop and I was right, the piercing was rejecting. Turns out, the jewelry wasn’t actual titanium steel, it was some cheap metal and was way too small. Don’t bother coming here unless you want unprofessionalism and scar tissues. Stay away!

Just got some piercing done. Wheel definitely made me feel comfortable and was very professional. I would gladly recommend this place. I loved the customer service and great environment. I wouldnt have gone anywhere else.

Bobby and Tito are great workers!!!!! Me and my best friend got piercings about a month ago . I got my nose pierced and my best friend got her belly pierced. now that my friend David works there... Were soooo going back to get more piercings and tattoos!!! :)!

I walked into this shop kinda hesitant, but because Tito was so helpful and easy to talk to, I decided to get a tattoo by him. I looked at his portfolio, and I was sold. He is a very nice laid back guy and was real cool to talk to. I really liked the shop, Titos tattoo area was nice and clean, he showed me the brand new needles and opened them in front of me. I really appreciate an artist that will go to extra lengths just to make their customers happy. He is a funny dude, had me laughin the whole time. I will NEVER go to any other shop or artist, and I am so happy I came here. The atmosphere is very calm, and the heat worked great in there. I wasnt sitting there freezing like in other shops, and there was no fighting, or yelling, or anybody acting crazy like in other shops i have been to. I highly recommend this shop and TITO as the artist. He is very creative, and has crazy skills with his work. His lines are super clean, and very neat like they should be. Other artists in the area cant compete with this dude, especially with his work ethic to be safe, and sterile and shows his clients how a tattoo should be done. Take notes people! This dude is gonna be famous one day! Thanks again bro! I love my new tat and Im comin back for more soon and Im bringing mad people with me.

Bobby G did a fantastic job, he made a beautiful eagle with the flag waving in the most beautiful colors. He said if their is any problems, come back and he will fix them.Everyone there was so friendly and would go back there in a heart beat. Bobby G, you are the greatest artist I every had. All the best.

I came here for my first tattoo and got it done with Cruz he did an excellent job was very light handed and very friendly. I would recommend this place to other people and will be coming back here in the near future to get more work done

Before I went to Addiction Tattoo I review them and i saw they had real good reviews except for one complain about Tito, a gentleman was complaining about Tito not wanting to do touch ups on a tattoo he has done on him, of course i didnt pay mind to it and i had Tito do my tattoo, sure enough when it was time for touch ups, 1st he told me they didnt do touch ups on weekends i made appt. for a Tuesday i call on Tuesday to tell i was heading over, some emergency came up so now we change to Thursday. i call on Thursday and Dave answers. Tito never had me on the appt, book for anything but he told me to come over to make the appt, and he was going to may sure i was going to be taking care of,Monday i went in and Bobby G, took care of me he didnt have to do touch ups, he fixed my tattoo completely and made look beautiful, no charge, a very decent man, he just took over and made look great.He did such a great job i went back Wednesday and he did a portrait of a Taino Indian on my left leg, super tattoo, he just took him self to another level in tattooing.To Dave, the manager of Addiction, thank you, great customer service, and to Bobby G. simply, you the best, great job my friend, thank you,,,

My girlfriend got her belly button pierced about a year ago. it recently rejected and i called up and the guys they said they would take a look at it. i came in the guy looked at it and said he would re do it.and he did it right away . no charge . there really good i would definetly recommend. he said it was garenteed that he would re pierce it for free. theyre really nice people everyones cool. the guy opened up the needle package and everything to show me that it was brand new cleaned everything good. really clean environment.

It took me awhile to finally get the courage to pierce my nose. I walked into addiction tattoo full of nerves, but was greeted with smiles. It was my first tattoo and the job was done very very nice, i am so happy that the job was done by TITO. It was like relaxing had no pain on my right arm and did nor realize thatmy tattoo was done . place is clean and all the people around in that store are nice and friendly.

Very clean shop but i had to wait 25 mins and the tattoo i got took an hour and it was a really small hand tattoo. and the artist also said it would be thin lines but the lines are so bulky and he charged me $30 more than what he told me the minimum was. super expensive for no type of reason.

I got a cover up tattoo of a pawprint and a geometrical design hummingbird, then line work was flawless, the tattoos look gorgeous, and the overall energy of the shop and its artists made this experience better than i could have imagined! 10/10
