I happened to have more photos of Stellas work, but for some reason, Google wont let me upload those photos. Both Stella May Vlad and Patrick Conlon are amazing! I highly recommend both of them. Theyre very sweet, kind, talented, funny, and know what theyre doing. Their prices are great, and I trust them giving advice (such as placement, size, etc.)

I had a marvelous experience with Buddy! They were very communicative and easy to work with leading up to the appointment. They were transparent about pricing and gave their honest opinions of designs and positioning that helped me make final decisions. I ended up with exactly what I wanted! The shop is super cute and extremely clean. It was a professional, safe, friendly environment. I would highly recommend Buddy for black tattoos- especially if you love clean, delicate linework. Next time Im in town -- Ill become a repeat customer. Thanks for a lifetime memory, Buddy!

Went here in October 2023 for my first tattoo. Amazing job by Chris Mahoney, not only with the artwork and tattooing, but also with putting my mind at ease as an older first timer. And that goes for the overall vibe and the rest of the people at the studio - very welcoming and calm experience. Would definitely go back.

Needles is a wonderful artist with over 30 years of experience. I had my first ever started by him today. He blew my mind with he came up with after I told him what I wanted. Very satisfied. I highly recommend him and his studio.

I got a forsythia tattoo from Stella here (pictured, photo taken day of) and it was a great experience.For Stella - gorgeous work, gentle with the needle, and she absolutely understood what I was asking for both in letter and spirit. Conveying ideas through language always takes a leap of faith, but Stella made that leap fairly easy. I was very comfortable surrendering to her process, and I am glad I did. The work speaks for itself. My partner says its her favorite of my tattoos.For Speakeasy - the place was clean, the staff was friendly, the music was good. They clearly all like each other a lot there, which makes for good vibes. Would return.

Talented artists, designed my tattoo based on what I really wanted to celebrate my late father’s 80 birthday. Very responsive and professional. Wonderful tattoo studio. Will get any future tattoos done here.

Absolutely LOVE my new piece, a note from my grandma found by my daughter years later tucked away in a book. Cannot wait to come back to get my next piece started. The shop is clean and AMAZING. Excellent tattoo shop! Needles is my artist, I have been working with him for a few years now and I have been very happy with his work. Im always excited for my next appointment! All the artists at speakeasy are great artists.

Had a two hour appointment with Raul, who is top-notch excellent at black tattoos/shading Very chilled out atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. Most importantly, the shop is extremely clean and sanitary. My tattoo turned out looking just as I hoped. Ive had no infections and very little discomfort, and Im usually a person with very sensitive skin. I totally recommend these guys. Just spend a little time on their site to decide which artist has the style youre looking for.

Great studio! Clean and the staff was super welcoming, the appointment started on time, and my artist Corey was amazing! Corey did an amazing job copying the font of a customized graffiti piece, that my dearly departed cousin did more 20 years ago. Corey was the most gentle tattoo artist Ive ever had work on me, and this was tattoo #9 for me! I cant say enough good things about Speakeasy Tattoo or Corey, and I cant wait for my next trip there in February!!

Phenomenal experience! I got a tattoo from Stella, she is so talented, kind, and a joy to work with. She make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted and the end result surpassed the vision in my mind, it was so fantastic. The whole shop has a relaxed, welcoming vibe. Highly recommend!

I came to speakeasy for their mbmc flash. All of the staff was friendly and welcoming. Chris put the stencil on me and throughout talked to me the whole time about the tattoo placement and another tattoo of mine. Had a lovely energy to him. Corey did my tattoo and made the experience super comfortable. Before tattooing she was asking about interests, telling me about her “doodles”, and more. Corey was an incredible person to be tattooed by and had me laughing the whole time. Will totally come back to speakeasy in the future:)

I had a great experience with Patrick today. Hes an incredible artist who runs a clean and fun shop. He gave me a gorgeous tattoo and I highly recommend him to anyone interested in getting a first tattoo or adding to their artwork.

Just fantastic. Great work done by all the folk there, who are also just the sweetest people ever.Ive been going here for 9 years, 5-6 of those years exclusively with Stella. She makes custom botanical pieces for me that 99% of the time require no notes.With twelve pieces done by 2 artists, I strongly recommend Speakeasy. Just book sooner rather than later as these artists are typically booked out a bit into the future.

We worked with Chris for a first time tattoo. He was fantastic with us, and very patient with the person receiving the tattoo. Chris made sure he was comfortable and happy. All of the artists there were very friendly, and very kind. Im excited to go back and get more work done, and Im so happy the person receiving his first tattoo had such a positive experience. He loves it.

I have gotten several pieces at Speakeasy Tattoo and cannot say enough how enjoyable every experience has been. The staff is professional, top notch and thorough. And even more, the artists are the best you could ask for. Ive had Stella complete several pieces for me and she is talented, creative, incredible to work with, and she creates pieces that are truly meaningful. Whether its your first tattoo or youre having your next piece completed by an old friend, the atmosphere is welcoming and makes you feel like you are amongst friends.

Stella is amazing and kind. I felt like she genuinely understood me and my design. I felt comfortable and giddy during our consultation. I put down a deposit and made an appt in August to see my vision come alive! The vibe from everyone was relaxed and professional. What a great experience!

My daughter got a tattoo by Emily over the weekend. The studio is very clean and the staff is super friendly. The tattoo came out beautiful and Emily is truly an artist and a perfectionist. We highly recommend Emily and this studio for a great tattoo.

I love Stella. My sister, brother-in-law and I are enamored with her work and attention to detail. She also is great to chat with, come up with new ideas, and has a great attitude with openness and flexibility for anything! She did a couple anise stars for my sister and I, an olive branch for my brother-in-law, and a tattoo I designed for myself. She also did a word on my hand in my grandmothers handwriting

The atmosphere was totally welcoming, idk what that 1 star review is about. It was my first time going there and there was confusion about the tattoos my brother and I were getting; I didnt need a consultation but the person on the phone seemed to think I needed one; it was a really confusing situation. When we showed up and our person wasnt there (she was out sick), the people at Speakeasy were really accommodating and apologetic, and got us an appointment right away with an artist who was there, Chris Mahoney, who did a great job. Awesome, clean, welcoming atmosphere. Totally psyched to go back.

Speakeasy Tattoo is easily the best shop in the area. They have a diverse group of very talented artists, all with their own unique style. Not to mention, their shop is a safe and welcoming space for queer and BIPOC clients. The shop is kept clean as a whistle, and its a super relaxed atmosphere, without any of the intimidation that you sometimes find in the tattoo world.

This place is completely irresponsible and unprofessional. I had a tattoo appointment on may 13th with emily and another appointment set up for 22nd. I called to find out about my tattoo drawing on the 19th because it was never sent to me. I was then told that emily didnt send it yet because she tested positive for COVID 2 days after she tattooed me. No one called me to tell me she tested positive I found out 4 days later and if I didnt call there I would have never found out at all. I take care of a man that is 89, just got out of the hospital with pneumonia and is completely dependent on oxygen. If I gave him COVID he most likely would have died. I honestly cant believe that they would not call me to let me know. This is not the only incident I saw there. I cancelled my appointment and will never go back there again. Not to mention I also have to go somewhere else to get my tattoo fixed because she did not do a good job and pieces of my letters are missing.

Have you met Emily, Dean, Stella and the crew? Their work is impeccable and they are just the most welcoming bunch. The shop is always clean and its bright. An easy going shop with really great people.

I had a piece done by Raul who initially did a great job on front forearm I then presented another piece I was interested in to do on the opposite side of the same arm the piece came out absolutely nothing close to what I was requesting, I put my trust in him and I was horrified. I explained this to them and apparently they do not care enough to even show empathy Considering I am embarrassed to wear short sleeves to work during the summer so Im sweating like crazy trying trying to fix this problem, I mean this is my body show some respect if you cant do something just say you cant do it instead of marking me with something I am horrified with for the rest of my life

I HIGHLY recommend this place! Chris Maloney delivered exactly what I wanted in my tattoo! I was so impressed with the studio overall. If you want amazing work done (and who doesn’t) come here!

Got all my tattoos done here, the artists add a personal touch to their work which makes it more unique than most places. Every tattoo done here has healed smooth and seamlessly.

Extremely professional and amazing artwork.

Welcoming and warm atmosphere is the upside. The down side is the unprofessionalism of the artists by expressing their slanderous and ridiculous political views and posts on their social media accounts, especially Instagram. No thanks.
