El guerro was super rude and unprofessional . I left with no service done, but was charged $40. He then proceeded to call me minutes later saying he’s sending me my money back because “he doesn’t need it” in addition, he left a note saying “Don’t need customers like you”, because I refused to pay $85 for a nose piercing, although I remained professional through out my visit.

Omg I just went there to get my nose pierced and I had an amazing experience. I walked by myself and I was pretty nervous but once I started talking to the piercer, he is so respectful so polite makes you feel comfortable and really inform you on what’s going on.

The care I received here was top tier. They made sure my piercing was even and perfect. Javier sent me home with aftercare instructions and was very communication. Great vibes here :))

Got a nose piercing. First time there. There were two men there. The piercer, and a tattoo artist who gave me a consult for a tatt I cant wait to get. Both nice guys..cool to chat with..clean place. The piercer, forgive me, I can recall his name because I was yapping non stop; was very gentle, and he informed me well about aftercare for my Pierce and gave me a paper with instructions. He was cleanly and used sterilized needles. Good place to go.

Got my lip pierced by Güero. Amazing experience; he’s very friendly and talks to you which makes you feel comfortable. Piercing was done fast and didn’t hurt at all. 10/10 recommend!

Went in to get Daith piercings, I was apprehensive but I also knee I needed to so Güero made sure I was good to go and it was practically pain free! Now, I have gone a whole week headache free!! Took my daughter to get her nose pierced, and we both had a great experience. She was very nervous, and Guero talked to her and made her feel more calm. He wasn’t in a rush like most artists are and he treated us like he’s known us for awhile. He took his time and walked us through the after care as well. He also asks his clients to check in with him to make sure their piercings are healing properly. I have never had an artist treat his/her customers this way. My 5 year old daughter had her ears pierced by Guero today. He was so professional, informative and gentle with her. He did such a great job of making my daughter feel comfortable so she could trust him. He even went out of his way to buy my girl an ice cream after, which was the sweetest. I have had many tattoos from other places and I have to say this is probably my favorite place! It’s very clean and everyone is so nice there! Armando did amazing tattoos on my husband and daughter a few months back so I chose Armando to do my rework of a swallow bird (was previously done by someone else and was not done correctly). He was able to rework it the best he could (it was pretty scarred) and now looks much better. He also added traditional roses around the swallow. He free-handed it and it looks absolutely gorgeous! I love it!I must add that he has a gentle touch and this was quite painless and did not scar at all. He is also very communicative with excellent customer service before, during and after this service. He really took the time to ensure I was happy with the design and selection prior to starting. Originally had my appointment for 6:30 pm, but El Guero gladly took me in a lot earlier. He has a super chill vibe which let me stay calm. Came in to get three helix piercings and everything went smoothly. He has a good steady hand and made sure I was happy with the placing before he pierced my ears. Would highly recommend!🤩

Piercer here, El Guero, was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I came in to get a daith and a snug last week and it was easy breezy. Took all of 15 minutes maybe and he reassured me every step of the way. He also cleaned my brand new industrial piercing that I had gotten a few days before. Do yourself a favor and come to this shop as opposed to slightly cheaper ones in the area 🤗🤗🤗

I took my mom here to get her earlobes pierced again since her original ones (from when she was a baby) were pierced too low. She was really nervous, but Guero was awesome and made her experience really great.I also got my septum done by Guero & it was nearly painless. He took the time to explain aftercare to both of us and even gave us advice for a medical problem my mom has. Goes to show you how much he cares about his costumers! He really took his time & it was much appreciated. My mom’s earlobe & my septum are healing beautifully. Definitely recommend coming here!!

Came here to get four piercings. Two on each lobe and I was extremely nervous. Jr. “El Guero” made sure to answer any questions I had and reassured me how the process was going to feel like during and after the piercing went through. He really cares for his customers and has a really inviting personality. He bases the piercing location on how your ear curbs and what not. Then makes sure that the location is okay with you.Would definitely recommend! ☺️

We came to Javier to get my moms tragus’s pierced and he did an awesome job, very sterile and he is very informative. Went today Feb. 20. I called and Guerro answered. He was beyond accommodating as he said they do appointments only but since I was there he could take me as all I was getting was a piercing. I ended up getting 4 lol since there was a deal 4/$100 piercings (3 ear, 1 nostril) he was super gentle and talkative the whole time which made me relax and enjoy the experience more. Would definitely recommend. He explained what he was doing as he was doing it and explained aftercare. Had a very nice time :) thank you Guero for being so accommodating! Overall the shop was clean and they do have you sanitize before heading in and take your temp!

Being that the Christina is in a very intimate region, I was initially looking for a female piercer. I have gotten most of my piercings from him. daith on both ears, industrial bar, 2conch, septum and today he did 3 on each earlobe. I definitely recommend going to him for all your piercings needs and wants.

Terrible customer service. I gave them a call for service & it went straight to voicemail. I then received a call back and when I kindly greeted him I was rudely interrupted by Employee accusing me of calling and not saying anything. I then explained to him that it went straight to voicemail and he proceeded to tell me that if I call back and not answer him he will block my number. I love supporting my local brown & black businesses, but I will not tolerate any disrespect what so ever his tone was very nasty and accusatory. This is exactly how you run away good genuine customers. It doesn’t matter how great your reviews or services are be respectful, be kind. DO BETTER!

I had a really good experience with “el guero” here at down town tattoo and piercing. He pierced my 3 month olds ears and was very careful with them and patient. He’s really good at what he does and gave me lots of good information for after care! He even checks up on you to see how the healing process is going. I came back to get some piercings done on my ear and I live 40minutes away but I won’t go anywhere else thanks to him! I would trust him 100%!!

Armando made this such a great experience! I brought in a rough image of what I wanted my tattoo to look like and he was able to copy it down and make it PERFECT.A couple things I thought were strange, though, were that 1) I wasnt asked to sign a waiver or anything before my appointment and 2) I wasnt given a bandage or a gauze pad or anything once my tattoo was done. This was a solid black tattoo so it was definitely tender after it was finished. It was pretty hard to drive home with my shirt rubbing against it the whole way and, when i got home, i could see that there was a bunch of dried blood around it. Luckily I happened to have a big enough gauze patch to cover it at home.The facilities are really nice, really comfortable seats in the waiting area, clean work spaces, clean restrooms, a good full-length mirror. There was a TV playing some movies while i was there and it helped to have some entertainment to distract from the sting of the needle (my fourth tattoo and im still not completely used to it!).Overall, a great trip! Just wish there was more explanation of aftercare at the end of my visit.

I got a half sleeve done by Jeremy very detailed, he did a perfect job on it. We were able to get it done in one session but he reassured me that if we needed to do a second session that it was fine. Very informative before and after the tattoo. Would definitely recommend him to anybody looking for a solid artist.

I got my daith done on both ears by “El Guero”.I was really nervous and he talked me through it all and walked me through the breathing technique..He was super fast and gentle.I highly recommend him if you want a piercing.We came from Texas to get the piercing and tattoos done.He explains the aftercare in what u can and can’t do.

The piercer gives great information on aftercare and makes sure you wont leave the shop without a great piercing. I absolutely recommend going here
