Super quick service! Went in to get my nose pierced and it was very reasonable priced and she explained everything for care and process. Definitely expected to make an appointment and wait but didn’t at all! Very friendly staff. Sterile too!

Sorry this is kinda long...Massive, massive, massive shout out to Raven!!! Im currently in the area on vacation from Texas. I have had a concept for a tattoo for a long time, but have not had the means to get it done. However, I am able to now. So, I did some research on the area and found Black Orchid. Last Tuesday (7/30/24), I went in to see if I could meet with an artist to give them my concept; in turn allowing them to draw up what would be an original piece but also allowing them to put a little bit of themselves in the piece. I gave the girl at the desk like a 5 word description of what I was thinking and she immediately matched me with Raven. Raven met and spoke with me for like 45 minutes. She listened to my idea and took notes on everything I was thinking, offered suggestions, asked questions when she needed to and even gave me some advice on one of my existing tattoos that I had a question about. She asked me if I could come back Friday (8/3/24), to allow her to create and work on the piece. (So, she works on it Wednesday and Thursday and come to find out those were her days off!!)Then come back Friday to see if I love or hate it, want to make changes, etc. If I loved what she put together, then we would schedule another appointment for Monday or Tuesday of next week, because they are slower days and she would have more time to do the piece and not feel like she has to rush. I said great and we made an appointment for 1pm Friday. Friday, morning at the hotel, I checked my phone and saw I had a voicemail. It was Raven calling to let me know that she worked, reworked, tweaked and tried her best to come up with a piece that she thought would give me everything I wanted and also be within her skill set and capabilities. She felt like she couldnt make it work without sacrificing quality. She recommended I find an artist with more experience, so that I dont settle for something I dont love. She apologized about 10x throughout the message saying she was so sorry for not being able to give me what I wanted. I am in my 40s. If I had to guess... Raven is in her 20s (sorry Raven if Im totally off on that) She showed me more customer service, caring and maturity than many adults I know that are older than me!! She didnt have to tell me to essentially lose business and money in her pocket! And, she didnt have to call me several hours ahead of my appointment time to let me know, so I didnt take time out of my vacation to go to the shop and hear the same thing!!! Ive seen her work online and I have no doubt she is an excellent artist. But, I know for a fact she is an excellent human!!! If, there is another tattoo I decide to do instead or come up with something else, I will absolutely go back for her to complete it!!Mad mad respect for that girl!

This is the only shop I will go to! I’ve got all six of my tattoos at this shop and most of my piercings. Shane and Chris are amazing. Shane has pieced together wonderful work from the general ideas I’ve given him. I really love his style and his talent of making a vision into an amazing tattoo. Chris has done all my walk in tattoos and has been amazing, even when I asked him to re draw the sketch twice to make it just right. His line work is great and holds up wonderful! Very thankful for this shop. They are all around great. I will always recommend them.

I came here for 2 different tattoos with Raven and Sal and they both got me in and out under 2 hours. Im so happy with both works. I will definitelybe back again! 10/10 would recommend!

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT GET PIERCED HERE!!Their piercer needs to go through training again or they need to find someone else. I’ve gotten two piercings from her and they were crooked, but not crooked enough to be noticeable or for me to make a fuss. However, my boyfriend came in to get his ears pierced and one was so incredibly crooked we had to take it out. It was at a slant, bruising behind the ear where it should have gone though. Not even close to the mark. We wouldn’t be upset if it was a little off but this is just ridiculous.HOWEVER!!! Their tattoo artists are wonderful, both he and I have gotten tattoos here and both have turned out great 🖤I personally never leave reviews but I feel like it’s important to put this out there, I don’t want anyone to have the same experience that he did.

I walked in to the shop at 5pm on a Saturday. I didn’t know what I wanted, other than something relatively simple. The front desk was very helpful in helping me find something I might want and got me in touch with my artist, Noelle. I came back today, Sunday, and spoke with Noelle about a few different pieces. She looked at one of my current tattoos and gave the idea of adding to it. I fell in love with the idea and it was finished within an hour of when I walked in and cheap. Noelle is fast, friendly, has great customizing skills and was very accommodating. The shop was very clean as well. I would definitely have Noelle do another tattoo.

Got my first tattoo and it looked awesome. Keno did it for me and was extremely happy with it. Everyone was very nice and professional. Highly recommend Black Orchid if you are ever in Pigeon Forge, Tenn.

My wife and I made a spur of the moment decision to get some important dates inked while we were in town celebrating our anniversary; we called and were told they could get us in quickly! From the time we walked in to getting sat with the artist, was less than 30 mins! Our artists, Raven and Shane, were fantastic to work with, gave us EXACTLY what we requested, and did a fantastic job! If you’re in the Pigeon Forge-Gatlinburg area and looking for ink, give them a shout!

My wife and I had our first tattoos together done by Raven. Raven was absolutely wonderful! The designs were spot on. My design was a 2 part piece and after the first part I didnt feel too well so we stopped mine. Raven was SO understanding and talked me through it! I decided not to finish it out on my own accord but I couldnt have found a more caring person! 10/10 would definitely recommend!

Called and asked specifically if they have availability for a walk in… I was told yes if I made it up there by 7:30pm. Got there at 6:30pm, waited 15 min, stated I again wanted a quick flash design because I’m feeling itchy. They show me their flash to then set an appointment with me 4 days out… not asking for white glove just tell me on the phone you don’t have time for walk-ins if you don’t plan and doing a walk-in tattoo.

Skylar pierced my conch for me today and she did amazing! She was also so sweet! Highly recommend!!!

The customer service was really good and the guy who did my tattoo was very polite and stayed after closing to finish the tattoo, but it seems as if he didn’t go deep enough because as soon as I took the cover off the tattoo it instantly started pulling off. After a couple days the top layer came all the way off, and I have made several efforts to reach out and try to get some money back to get it resolved. I live over 6 hours away and I have had little to no luck getting any responses back.

My boyfriend and I came to this shop wanting tattoos on vacation. We picked this place because of the reviews it had. I went it first and got one behind my ear, we walked in and Bruce was able to fit me before his appointment. When I walked in they told me I couldn’t get want I was asking for behind my ear because it wouldn’t fit. The front desk person helped me google and find a new design I would like to get done. They were all very helpful and it was a very friendly environment. I would recommend Bruce, his line work is amazing. When my boyfriend went a couple days later, he got his first tattoo and had Shane. His tattoo looks really good, just in the black part of the helmet we think that the bottom line is uneven but we don’t know if that was purposeful. It doesn’t change how we thinks of the tattoo he loves it so much. Overall, we have had a great experience during our time being in this shop and we definitely recommend going here. The tattoos are a little pricy but they are worth it.

We came in as a group of 10 for a bachelor/Bachelorette party impulsively. 3 phone calls later and showing up an hour early not an ounce of annoyance from the crew and to make it even more amazing it was a Saturday afternoon. Thank you to the man who coordinated with the artists to get us all in and out the door with 8 tattoos and a peircing later all in under 2 hours. I went in as a walk in and a visitor to Tennessee for the first time. We appreciate the patience and hospitality we received from staff. We were able to schedule a next day appointment. The shop was clean and the aesthetics were nice as well. If you’re in town and interested in a spontaneous or memorable event, hit them up. You can walk in too. If I’m ever in town and feeling random again, I’d return! Prices are $80 and up.

My friend and I went here to get a simple matching tattoo. The girl at the front desk was nice and helpful but everyone else pretty much made us feel like idiots. The pricing was outrageous but since we were on vacation we decided to just go for it. We each paid $130 for a two in simple flower… basically got robbed. We were tattooed by Bush who seemed nice enough but was obviously annoyed by us and rushed through the entire process. My lines are already fading and patchy. We were both in and out in less than 30 minutes. I hate tattoo shops that have artists there that think they are better than everyone else. I honestly feel like I could have done a better job myself. Please save your money and do not go here.

Had my daith piercing done today by Paty. Super nice and super professional! Had an issue with getting the jewelry in the piercing and was so professional and sympathetic when dealing with it. Would definitely get pierced by her again!

I first went and had Raven. I absolutely loved her energy. My tattoo turned out better than I would’ve imagined. I came back the next couple of days and had Sal. He did AMAZING at executing what I wanted. Very good with details! I loved it so much we made it a family thing. Every time I return to the area, I will be visiting them!

My boyfriend and I came in to get tattoos, as we were on vacation and it was spontaneous. The environment and staff were great. I have no complaints there. My issue is as soon as we took the cover off, the ink pretty much went with it. While mine isn’t as bad, my boyfriends tattoo is pretty much gone. We have reached out and we’re promised something would be done. After a week, we are still not getting anywhere. We live over six hours away, so obviously going in is difficult. So on top of the $360 we already spent to get the tattoos, we will have to spend more money to get them fixed.

Bruce was great. I walked in at 1pm, was taken back within 10 minutes and my tattoo was done in less than that. $100 well spent. My adult children all showed up after me, each getting tattoos and each were pleased with the results.

The artists themselves were very personable and friendly. We were a vacation walk in and they were able to accommodate us easily as their scheduled appointment was a no show. My requested small tattoo was simple black lines with shading, but it was very poorly executed. Very patchy shading and their line work was not as crisp as it should be. She said she has been tattooing for more than 10 years but I find it hard to believe shes not a newbie.

Bruce Lee hands down best tattoo artist I have been to. On vacation from Virginia Beach he was able to give me a beautiful tat. He was friendly and offered different colors and designs to what I wanted. Excellent artist.

KILLER team, awesome vibes, spectacular customer service/ interaction. Bruce Lee did a cover up for me and this man is the bomb. Great sense of humor, very knowledgeable, and patient. Spent almost FIVE hrs in the chair on this piece and he was a champ. Bob Ross of tattoo artists- make swoosh noises on the action lines. 😆 Love this place and love the people. Will most certainly be returning.
