We called and were able to schedule am appointment the same day at 4. We showed up 15 minutes early to handle paperwork and we were out by 4:05.Steve was incredibly professional but was also super personable and made the experience really enjoyable. It was a wonderful first experience and Steve made sure I knew exactly what was going on the entire time.

We had a wonderful experience today getting my daughter’s ears pierced at Legacy Impressions Tattoos & Piercings!She was apprehensive about doing this… but she really wanted them and Steve Millage was so amazing talking through what he was doing and what to expect. And her nerves were soo much better, even before the piercing!

Im from out of town, and visited this parlor for a tattoo with some details in it. Steve was kind enough to accommodate me despite his busy schedule. Got a badass tattoo and a great chat.These guys definitely know what theyre doing and they ensure that you feel comfortable while being informative.Coming back here soon for another one 😉.

I got a tattoo by Ashley and she is such an amazing person. So easy to chat with in the chair, she’s an apprentice right now and she took her time making sure she was doing a good job, soft hand as well! Steve and Andrea were great, the entire visit today was full of laughs. The shop has an amazing atmosphere and I 100% recommend anyone in the area to get a tattoo here!

Absolutely incredible experience at Mysticman!Ive been in for my sisters tattoo, my tattoo, my moms first tattoo, and another sisters piercings. (All in a week!) Every single time they made sure to show us that everything was packaged and sterile and answered any questions we had. The team was very knowledgeable.Steve, my tattoo artist, was right on my level from the moment I told him about my tattoo idea (a valkyrie rune) and his enthusiasm for it just made me all the more excited. When getting tattooed he answer all of my questions about the tattoo process and even showed me a thing or two which was pretty neat!I also entrusted Steve with my good friend Yorick, who now resides in Mysticman.Lastly, the quality of their tools and of their work is mind blowing. They have gone out of their way to use upgraded equipment when tattooing (wireless and quieter machines!) And also saniderm for the healing process. From the sound of it, they are still continuing to find ways to build their customer experience. Which is already exceptional.

Called the owner Steve for a touch up which all that shops do free after a tat. Was told I need to get another tat so I wouldnt waste his time. If you cant follow up your work and take pride in your work do not do it simple as that. Worst experience I e had and I have tats from basements...0/100 would NOT recommend

Highly recommend going in for a piercing. ive had four (helix, conch, and doubles) of my six piercings done by Legacy and so far im extremely impressed! everything from the piercing set up to the healing process, ive felt extremely secure and comfortable. everything about the clean, upbeat, and unique atmosphere at Legacy has made me trust them fully. i HIGHLY recommend them for anyone who seeks a quality experience with a piercing :)

Went in today to get my doubles, triples, cartilage, and nose pierced and had an amazing experience.Steve did my piercings and he made the process quick, easy, and as pain free as possible! I was extremely comfortable during the procedure as Steve was super down to earth and very comforting. The studio is very clean and all the equipment was sterile. I am more than happy with how my piercings turned out. Overall I would very highly recommend going to Mysticman Tattoo and Piercing for all your piercing needs!

I went in for my very first Tattoo!! I had the best experience with Steve. The shop was clean and well maintained. Everyone was friendly and so easy to work with. I ended up with a piece I love and I cant wait to get more here in the future!!!

The experience was perfect, my friend and I both came in for an industrial. We also brought my boyfriend along. The piercer is wonderful, she did my friend first and did everything. She talk to us about our schooling and how long she has been doing this along with the protocols she is required to follow. She even showed how clean the space. My friend bleed a little more then most people, so she made sure the bleeding stopped before moving to me. I have a phobia of needles so I brought my boyfriend so i could have some support. She told me that she would show him the needles and all the clean supplies that was needed. She avoided any showing of needles and I was able to get it pierced without any panic inside of me.She is wonderful piercer and very awesome for anyone being a First Time piercer of cartilage.She proceeded even offer help to put in new piercing if we are afraid of doing it out-selves so she could show us the proper way and helping with my fears of messing up the piercing.Thanks you to her, I am looking at a tattoo from there because she was able to give me information on their new tattoo machines and how it hides the needle so I will be able to get tattoo if I want.Thank you so much for your support, it was really the best experience and will forever recommend it to first timers.

I Went in for my first tattoo and my artist Riko absolutely killed it. She was super polite and made the entire experience incredible. She checked in to make sure i was okay during the process and allowed breaks if needed. I would highly recommend going to Riko and legacy impressions!

I had 2 tattoos done here by Steve. I would absolutely go back to get more. The establishment was super clean, had a very fun atmosphere, and all of the employees are amazing. I felt comfortable and relaxed and it was a great experience! Keep up the great work!!!

Steve and his assistant were so amazing at getting my 3mo pierced! Highly recommend! If I could give more than 5 stars right now I would. I went in a couple days ago to get my nose pierced. I absolutely am terrified of needles and the artist knew this. She had me close my eyes and breathe, she was very professional, (I didn’t catch her name). But next time I want another piercing I’ll definitely come here, maybe even a tattoo! Thank you so much!

I went to get my 2 year Olds ears pierced today and our experience was outstanding! Steve did a great job. Quick, clean and efficient. She didnt even cry. He adapted well to his clientele. 6/5 starts. Highly recommend.

The shop is open, welcoming, and clean! I went in to have 4 piercings done in one sitting so I was anxious as hell. Started with my eyebrow, then nostril, then tongue web, and last my tongue. I was especially anxious about getting two tongue piercings at the same time, but Steve was very quick and it was nowhere near as bad as I expected! I have a nervous laugh and had a hard time sitting still but he handled it awesome (sorry steve!!!). There is also a large assortment of beautiful jewelry available for purchase and I cant wait to go back for more. Ill absolutely be returning for future piercings! Ive even already booked a tattoo appointment with another artist at the shop and definitely plan on at least a couple more in the near future!

I have received numerous tattoos and piercings from Eric and his amazing staff over the last 5-6 years. This is the BEST place I have been to with the most amazing work! Everyone’s always been so nice and understanding. I recommend them to anyone and everyone🙏🏻 10/10 recommend

I went in to get my Daith pierced and by the time I got in the chair and got to talking to Steve my piercer I also wanted a double helix piercing. I talked to him about my concerns and healing process. He was very honest about it all which I truly appreciated. He was also very professional explaining that his station and tools being used are sanitized. He went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and not scared or nervous about the piercings. Steve was just a very cool and down to earth guy. I definitely recommend going to him for any of your piercing needs. I will be heading back later for more piercings.

I got my ears pierced in five different spots today and was a little nervous since I’d never been here before. And it was definitely an impulse decision. Walking in, the environment is very open and clean and the staff was very welcoming. I was in and out in just over a half an hour, was given water and was really well taken care of. I would recommend going here!! If I ever want more piercings while I’m in Platteville I will definitely be going here.

First off let me say AMAZING all around. Stopped in for a couple piercings...then it unfolded from there. Steve is amazing!!! Shop was to close but because I will be travelling and really wanted to do some family tattoos...he opted to stay open and get us all tattooed. Out of hours and did us all a HUGE favour and believe me we has SO MUCH FUN!!! Got me a friend for life with him and my kids will be back for more tattoos. The place was very clean, he explains the process for both piercings and tattoos so there isnt a single client that can say they didnt know. Faye let us kick about and laugh with us all too...just fantastic. And just to put one more accolade in here....Steve did my sons first tattoo. EPIC! I started going here back in August of 2019! Very friendly atmosphere and super clean shop! They always show you that their equipment is clean before proceeding with a tattoo or piercing! The talented Faye did my grandpas blue gill in August and yesterday she was so kind to re do my cow hoof and did my dads 8 point buck! Rick and Faye take their work seriously!!! Very welcoming people, always talks to their customers and customers family! Their prices are phenomenal for the work they do!! Without a doubt I will be continuing to come here for business no matter how far away I live!

I got my septum pierced by Steve recently and he made it a wonderful experience! I was super nervous and he took the time to make sure I was ready. My piercing is perfect and couldn’t have been done better! This shop is so clean, friendly and the staff are THE BEST in the business! 10/10 would recommend!

DO NOT GO TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT!I went to another piercer and all of the four piercings done here were done incorrectly. My tragus was unsalvageable and had to be removed. My eyebrow was done wrong and was unsalvageable the other three were just salvageable but still might end up with issues and have to be removed. They give horrible care instructions that led to infection and use low quality metal definitely NOT surgical grade steal. They pierce with a hoop when you arent supposed to. If I could give a negative rating I would. Being pierced by a friend in a garage is probably safer.

Ladies and Gentlemen and all of those in between;I came to Mysticman Tattoo & Piercing as my piercings were removed by an unaware doctor while I was unconscious.I had six in my earlobes.I am a 62 year old person who is and looks odd and strange.I attempted to find someone who would perform the deed in my home state of Iowa. I could not. For whatever reason or discrimination, no shop in Iowa would do what I asked. This is strange due to the fact that; I am an adult, I have money, I have had these things pierced since 1978, and I was will to travel.I could find no one in Iowa willing to re-pierce me.I am a small business person who likes to give money to those who are like me, a small business entrepreneur.Thankfully I found Fayes Mysticman Tattoo and Piercing.Without question or even a strange look, Steve took care of me after Faye allowed me to pick out my stones.The job was done quickly, painlessly and politely which, for an ugly odd motherf-~#~-er like me, was quite amazing.Steve humored my nervous chatter and ignored my stupidity.That was quite pleasant. The entire experience was pleasant, painless, and quick!I will be returning to Mysticman Tattoo & Piercing for more work.I will recommend them to everyone I know.If you are piercing, this is the place.They are honest.Steve told me my skin is too old and thin for a tattoo, too bad...Oh well, more piercing then!Sincerely Happy With Your Service,Dante the Gypsy

Overall very nice atmosphere and very clean facility. I got my tattoo done last week. They were very nice when I scheduled the appointment, however, when I came in for the appointment, they lost my sketch of my tattoo design. After waiting an extra hour for them to redraw it, I had to get it in a completely different spot than planned. The tattoo looked reasonable when it was done and completed (as all tattoos should), but now that its healing a lot more, it looks terrible. The lines are all over the place, a lot of tattoo blowout, and the circles look like straight up ovals. I was impressed when scheduling my appointment , however, not so much. While waiting for my sketch to be finished, a few customers came in to get piercings and they seemed very happy with the results. Nice place, maybe for piercings, but I wont be coming back other than to get my tattoo touched up.

I’ve been pierced at a few different shops and Mysticman is by far my absolute favorite!! Not only have my piercings here healed much better but the piercers are amazing. Went in for a daith but Steve, the piercer, and I both agreed my ear wasn’t fitted for it and he helped me pick out something different that I absolutely love!! He’s so awesome and makes you feel comfortable not only in your decisions but also in the atmosphere. I’ll definitely be going here for any piercings in the future.

Got my ears re pierced and my belly button pierced by Steve Millage. He is very kind and patient, totally willing to go at your speed. Steve has answered all of my questions. He definitely adds a nice touch to the Mysticman crew! I for sure recommend him especially if you’re nervous about any part of the piercing process. He is also getting his tattoo station set up soon and gave me a free consultation. I’m excited to see how he adds his touch to the tattoo process!

Absolutely awesome customer service, and quality piercing. My nose piercing and nipple piercings experience was super easy, quick and enjoyable, wouldn’t go anywhere else. EVERYONE in the shop is so sweet and funny! They really made me feel welcomed and at home. Everything is priced good and a reasonable price.

Took my daughter to get her belly piercing, Rick was extremely professional and completely thorough before, during AND after the piercing. Took the time to make sure she was comfortable and made sure she understood everything. He also showed her everything and explained all the details of what he was doing! This tattoo shop is amazing i got a piercing here months ago and loved that I was able to go back today and get a barbell size change no charge, the employees and staff here have great communication and are amazing with kids. My 10yr old got his ears pierced here today also and Molly was so good with him. They give details about all items, packaging and process of the piercing before doing anything. Great place and amazing employees, going back for a tattoo that they are designing for me.

I have been working on my full sleeve the staff here are very professional and wonderful to work with! I have had 3 sessions so far and Im looking forward to my last one to finish up. I walked in with a few ideas and Faye was able to help me pull a vision together the tattoo is absolutely beautiful and I will definitely be going back for more!

Rick and Molly are truly the most caring, professional, and most valued to both myself and those around me.On February 20th Rick and Molly threw me and my closest friends (Under 10 people) the BEST 21st birthday party I could ask for. Everyone got to have the service they wanted done on the same night (both tattoos & piercings) and celebrate my birthday while staying safe during this time!They made sure to inform everyone on proper cleaning procedures, and made sure that each of us were aware of the cleanliness and sterilization of both tools, and stations between each client.I would recommend both Rick and Molly to anyone, and I can not thank them enough for being apart of such an important night for me! 💕

I scheduled a 2 hour time slot with my sister for tattoos with Faye. She was getting small Roman numerals, I was getting one thin vertical line up my forearm and several thin horizontal lines across it. On our appointment day, Faye said it would actually take at least 3 hours to do my tattoo as it was very complex and technical(!) That didnt seem right, but I asked if she could do what she could and finish the rest later. She said no, there was not enough time to even start it. After over an hour of waiting around for Faye to get set up, my sis finally got her tiny Roman numerals and we left. I ended up going somewhere else to get my super technical 3 hour tattoo. I was in the chair within 10 minutes of walking in, and it took him 30 minutes to do my tattoo, the lines are perfect! Overall not a good experience at Mysticman.

They are all very friendly, and very professional. I have gotten two tattoos from there and Im excited to get my next from them. I highly recommend their piercings too!! Overall just a friendly environment.

I cannot stress how great this shop is! So professional and always upbeat! My son wanted to get his first tattoo and they were very compassionate and walked him through the whole process with patience and understanding! The whole experience was absolutely amazing ..beyond what i was expecting. I took my 8 old to get her ears peirced. Did my homework and wanted the best experience for my duaghter. They helped her ease her anxiety and explained every step and reassured her that the process was easier than she was worked up to be. Sure enough! It was quick and easy! She cried and giggled at the same time. Diffinately have a knack for kids as they do with adults. Im so grateful i brought her here. We got a spot on the schedule same day. Filled a form and was out before 30 minutes past.

My experience has always been exceptional. The staff is incredibly polite and talented. I just have to say the above ridiculous 1 star review that Gabby Groom posted is what is wrong with some of the youth of today. This is a perfect example of entitlement. You dont decide the hours that a business sets for the holidays. Grow up and act like you have some home training kid.

I was so excited to get my medusa redone but Ive never seen a piercer (Steve) more geeked out by blood when doing piercings. I got this done about 6 weeks ago, followed the healing instructions and just took is out today (9/12/21) and this is what it looks like. You can kind of see where the original piercing was done.

I went it to get a piercing and the guy I had was so nice about it and really helped eith nerves. He joked and he still took percations and was very covid safe, I felt very welcome and it all happened. All in all great atmosphere and for first piercings I do recommend

My daughter recently stopped for a replacement nose ring. The non-stop swearing was very unprofessional and only 1 option was available. The ring was huge and way oversized for her face. It stuck out of her nose over a quarter inch.

Had Riko do a tattoo for me, it turned out awesome and I love it. The atmosphere is great and everyone was nice and professional.

So this was a cover up and my 4 th tattoo. All my tattoos are drawn by the artist. I have one on my back that the tattoo artist actually had drawn and didn’t take off the internet. I have one on my leg that the artist free handed. But I came here to cover something up and wanted a cardinal for a tattoo. This was my Grandmas favorite bird. So I wanted to memorialize her. Got to the shop the artist took a tattoo off the website copied it and tattooed me with it. No effort at allAfter the tattoo was done and healed I had to go to the doctor because my collar bone hurt. The tattoo is upper left side chest. I was an athlete and have had many x rays taken and this x ray showed that there are chips out of my collar bone where the outline of the tat is. One would assume they went to deep and chipped the bone. I also had a lump where the eye of the cardinal was and it was determined to be MRSA. I kept the area clean and it wasn’t infected at all. But here 6 weeks later I am in pain yet on my collar bone area. You be the judge with this place. I will not be back
