Mad Pup Tattooing

Mad pupp in an amazing tattoo artist. He is very talkative while getting tattooed, which makes the process a whole lot better. Hes very caring on whether u need a break. He is highly reccomended

Had my first and fifth tattoo done by him. I grew up watching him tattoo my parents, aunt and older brother. Getting my sixth one tomorrow by him! Excited!(Ave Atque Vale was my first)

Got all my first 4 tattoos here getting my 5th Thursday pup has also tattooed all of my family hes well known hes a great tattoo artist

He did not wipe my septum before piercing it and used a huge gage. It is crooked to the point where one of the sides come out near the tip of my nose. Probably shouldnt go here for a piercing. This is not meant to be mean. But this piercing is on my face.

I would definitely recommend going to Mad Pup. I went yesterday to get this tattoo. I love it alot. It is my first tattoo. I will definitely be going back to get more. The music playing well I got my tattoo helped me stay calm. I also liked how there is a sign telling people not to wine well they get a tattoo because you will have to pay the $5.00 fee.

I got my first tattoo here and it was a great experience! He is friendly and knowledgeable and an excellent tattoo artist. He answered all of my questions and didnt make me feel silly. Prices are excellent! I would recommend him without reservation!

Ive been getting my ink done here for years. He stands behind every tattoo he does for a lifetime. His prices are reasonable as he wants to do quality work without gouging your wallet. Professional and relaxed atmosphere . Highly recommended.

This tattoo artist was very nice and seemed very knowledgeable. The other people before me had very nice tattoos with such great detail. Mine was very cute and done nicely. Also at an extremely low cost. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend him.

This review is not intended to attack in any way. It is intended to warn people seeking a piercing. I went here to get my nose pierced, the owner is very nice but did not give me the best advice concerning post care. He pierced my nose with a gun (this method pushes the skin to the side which can create problems with healing) and used an earring which created a very large hole and had a LARGE back on it! He said to not use salt water to clean it but rather a salve called bag balm. The piercing became infected after 2 weeks, red, swollen, and painful. It started to push against the piercing which caused a lot of pain and a lot of blood. I went to a different piercing shop to get it looked at, she had literally rip the piercing out because it was so stuck in place, putting another piercing in that will give the infection room to breath and heal. She then recommended using salt water to help clean the solution out. Again this review is not intended to attack but inform, I think the overall piercing was okay but the care advice was subpar. This piercing is on my FACE and is seen by everyone so I think more modern procedures should have been used when the piercing was given and more in-depth information about post care.

He sucks! he pierced my noise with a gun and a lage earing. He has very little interest on customers and has a smart mouth. I had to remove my nose piercing because the earring was drilling down my noise. ( so much for a birthday gift) He is untrustworthy and just want things to be done for money. NEVER GO HERE !

I could care less at this point if it attacks anyone. Went there today to get my nose pierced. Don’t get me wrong $20 is a nice price but not nice if the people there do a sloppy job and don’t know what they’re doing. Didn’t clean my nose right compared to my original piercer at body art and tattoo. She’s fantastic btw. Used an earring gun and an earring for my NOSE piercing. Earrings are for ears. Nose studs are for noses. I was given a paper on how to clean my nose which doesn’t even tell you HOW TO. I know how to but what he told me isn’t correct but I feel bad for first timers that will get that paper. He told me a cue tip and water which is wrong. Also the back of the package with the jewelry in it says “sterilized ear piercing studs” which ISNT a nose stud. Called to see why there’s an earring in my nose and was told “you mean the nose stud?” No I had my stud a few weeks ago and it’s not as big as this earring. I also asked “don’t you think it’s weird to use an earring that’s for your ear on a nose?” And he said “no it’s not weird at all” like do you not know what piercings go where??? Very sloppy with everything they do and they clearly only care about your money. I don’t recommend this place and I hope they learn how to do their job better. Thankfully my nose hasn’t gotten infected yet but I’m going to my original piercer Monday to have her fix his mess but I hope no one goes through this experience ever and I’m sorry for all the reviews I read that had an infection for this and what he did.

Extremely unprofessional. I called one day to ask to make an appt for the next and was told just to call the next day when Im on my way to figure out the best time when he was free. Ok..the next day I called and was told he had a few people to ink but only small tattoos that would be 10-15 mins each so I could come around 4pm, and I left shortly to get there since it was 2pm. Took an hour and a half drive (Im on vacation in the area and live 8 hours away) to walk in and not be greeted or noticed for 35 mins. He finally walked by without looking at me but talked to the other couple sitting there. When he walked past me again he looked at me like I was an idiot. I said my name and That Ihad called 2x and was told to come down at this time. Wellllll I have these 2 people who are way ahead of you. I repeated what he told me and it would be 10-15 min small tattoos and I drove almost 2 hours while on vacation here. Wellllll once I found out what they wanted theyre pretty big pieces and just left it at that. I asked when he would be done then and he said probably in 2 hours but he couldnt promise. Ridiculously unprofessional.I obviously left and didnt go back since I was furious with the lack of respect and organization and I was disappointed I wasted hours of my vacation time. But I wasnt about to have an unorganized sloppy guy ink me. Ill have to stick to real artists who have great service and art back in my hometown. 0/10.

Ive gotta a ton of work by him I had a couple tattoos before I started seeing him and when I did I had him Redo all my tattoos and just got another the other day and came out great as always

Do not go here for piercings. There’s a reason it’s only $20- that’s bc he uses an earring that is meant for ear piercings only. Nose piercings should not have a backing like an earring for many reasons.

I used to get all my tattoos from Mad Pup when I went to college up there, hell of a guy and always had a great experience

I got my first tattoo on my 18th birthday from mad pup and he did an amazing job, he opened up his tools in front of me so I could see what he was doing and cleaned them will be getting my next tattoo from him

Had a series of 3 piercings done. One was not in line with the others and one was severely crooked. That means that two out of three had to be removed. I left a message to ask if he would remove and redo them and he never returned my call.

He did a piercing on my lip. First off he didnt put it in the right spot. Second its crooked as well. All while I SHOWED him a picture of what I wanted in the first place! Extremely unhappy.
