Ancient oak tattoo

My husband, daughter, and I visited Ancient Oak tonight and had the BEST time/experience getting our long anticipated “V” script tattoos! Larry is awesome! He set up chairs so we could watch each other get tattooed! He was very patient and put my daughter at ease. The shop is beautiful and clean. Will definitely be visiting Ancient Oak and Larry again!

I recently received a banded tat around my ankle. It is waves! It was designed and inked by James Raven. I love it, I felt save and secure throughout the process. As a tattoo virgin I was a bit on edge with lots questions. James made me right at home💕🙏🏻🏡 I’ll most likely return for a detailed dragonfly at end of the summer. Thanks so much James . I got tattooed by James Raven (icantattoo on IG) and had a wonderful experience from beginning to end. The shop was clean, bathroom was spotless, everyone there was pleasant to be around and to talk to. Felt very comfortable and walked away with an amazing tattoo and a cool shirt! Thanks guys!

First time going here. Dylan was awesome. Had to put my dog to sleep. Wanted a tattoo of her collar & leash with her name, dates, paw prints & a saying. Dylan designed the tattoo exactly how I wanted it. Details were spot on. He knew how much this tattoo meant to me.I appreciate what Dylan did and the artist in him that understands what their client wants. Ive been to Ancient Oak a fair amount of times and have gotten tattooed by almost all the artists there and every single time its an easy and wonderful process. As someone whos gone to many different tattoo shops and gotten tattoos from all over the place this might be the only shop I know of that I can go to anyone there and get insane quality. This place is an absolute gem!!

The nicest people doing quality and careful work. They’re super easy to work with, fun to be around, and they have awesome artists doing a bunch of styles. Something for everybody.

Love the vibes In this shop. Everyone is super nice and makes you as comfortable as possible. They have a ton of flash always so there’s designs for everyone. Have gotten 5 tattoos done here and always have a great time during. If it’s a walk in or if it’s something you have been meaning to get for a long time this is the place to go.

I’ve been tattooed by both Adrienne and James! They are both so kind and make everyone feel comfortable and always good conversation. Everyone that works here is incredibly talented and I recommend everyone to them!! Adrienne has been tattooing me for at least 6 years and she always creates the perfect tattoo, making my visions come to life!

I’ve gotten two tattoos here from travis and he is great and so nice. he’s always so thorough, takes his time, and has great conversation while tattooing. the shop is always clean and the other artists are also super friendly there too. i have no regrets coming here.

The best tattoo shop in NJ for sure! Welcoming and highly talented artists working in warm & clean space. They are consistently donating to different charities and causes + the supplies they use are cruelty free/eco friendly. Ancient Oak is hands down the best experience you can have while being tattooed. The entire staff is professional, clean, extremely talented, and overall rad people to sit with.Sitting for hours on end, getting tattooed by a mope who takes a cigarette break every 10 minutes is frustrating and annoying. At Ancient Oak, you have dedicated artisans of their craft, who take the time to make sure every aspect of your experience is enjoyable, and youre given a timeless piece.

I have been getting tattooed by Doug the owner for over 12 years now he is the best. Came into the new shop last night it’s beautiful and very clean. I recommend checking it out if you want great art and hilarious conversations!

Ancient Oak was very clean . the open floor concept allowed everyone to interact with one another that made for a good experience while being tattooed.
