Athena is the best studio because it isn’t just a place to get a piercing, it is an incredibly collaborative, empowering, and fulfilling experience. From the moment you walk in you are treated with respect and friendship. Their jewelry selection is gorgeous; long gone are the days when your only choice is a titanium hoop or bar. The actual piercing is always handled with care and you have full agency over your body and choice. This is the only place I bring my daughters because they get to experience self care education and responsibility and that is EVERYTHING. Every time we walk out we feel like the coolest! The entire staff are knowledgeable, talented, and friendly. Please visit them and bring friends and family to their beautiful space.

Best piercing experience I have ever had. I had previously had my septum pierced twice by two different “professionals” and both had completely mess up, one was way too low and the other was too high and went through my cartilage so I was really scared and anxious going in because although I really love the piercing itself, I was scared to have it don’t incorrectly and I’m so happy I went to this shop and got it done. Sara was so sweet and understanding and incredibly knowledge, she walked me through the entire process start to finish and was very kind and professional, although it was near closing time she didn’t rush at all and I felt very comfortable with her. She did an amazing job and the piercing came out PERFECT. Her husband was also very sweet and explained the aftercare well to me and let me know that if I ever needed help changing the piercing or had questions about jewelry options that I am more than welcome to come back and get their help. They also have high quality jewelry that is absolutely STUNNING and will last you a lifetime. If you’re looking to get a piercing done and have it done right the first time, I highly recommend this shop, you will be in the best hands and care here.

I walked in with my daughter. The shop is beautiful. Its a relaxing atmosphere. Staff are friendly, they educated us and answered all of our questions. Went there to get my daughters piercing walked out both pierced. V was amazing. He walked us through the process and made it a comfortable experience. The environment was a clean, sterile, safe space. We left there with enough knowledge on how to care for our piercings as well as the tools needed to care for our piercings. After a frustrating experience at another studio, I came to Athena, where the clean, welcoming atmosphere and friendly cool staff instantly put me at ease.I met with Sara, an incredible curator and creator, who truly understands the art of piercing. She took the time to listen, offer tailored advice for my design. She definitely spoke my language. Got a nostril piercing here. The front desk staff were very helpful and answered all my questions. They helped me pick out jewelry and I was excited about the one I chose. All the jewelry is good quality so I felt safe about what I was putting in my skin, and it’s all reasonably priced. The staff member who did my piercing was super nice and made me feel at ease. I’m from out of town, but if I’m in the area again Id strongly consider coming back to choose another piece!

I was in town for my birthday and wanted to get another hole in my ears. Researched places and chose Athena. I liked that all they do is piercings. Its woman owned, it was clean, and they have a lot of information available to view/review online. My piercer, Alison, was amazing, and I appreciated the pre-help that Drew provided. The only thing you need to know is the jewelry is real, so the cost can climb quickly.

Went in last week to get my ear lobes pierced. It was my first piercing. Shop was immaculately clean. Sara was really helpful in picking jewelry. Alison did my piercings and was super respectful and patient. Can definitely recommend going here!

I got my septum pierced by Alison and she did an amazing job! She was super nice, answered my trillions of questions, and walked me through everything. The piercing wasn’t that painful which was great because I’ve heard mixed things about septum piercings. Drew at the front was also really great and helpful and explained to me the different kinds of septum rings and was really nice to talk to!

I’ll start off by saying I did not end up getting a piercing here. I came here with a bachelorette party. We walked in and a man greeted us and when one of our party asked for a pricing sheet the guy gave us a long speech about how it’s not a flat rate for about 10 minutes. He finally gave some pricing and it was much higher than average prices. I understand that it’s medical grade and certified piercers but the prices are still a bit much. Overall the place looked clean and pretty however I felt the place was somewhat pretentious would not be recommending this piercer.

I got my septum pierced today by Alison and it was a great experience! They had a great jewelry selection and super clean place. She was super fast and made it easy and painless. She talked me through the piercing and explained the steps. 10/10 recommend!

I am from Michigan and did a lot of research on where I wanted to go for my next piercing while I was in Pompano. Athena was hands down the shop I wanted to go to. They are APP certified and carry too-of-the-line BVLA jewelry.Unfortunately I had to walk-in for my piercing as my father had passed away which required me to return home sooner than expected. I got lucky and they had an opening.From the moment I walked into the shop I felt welcomed and valued as a customer. Drew knew his jewelry and guided me to the perfect piece for my flat/helix.Vee is an exceptional piercer. Very sterile and clean piercing studio. I cannot wait to return later in 2024 for my next piercings.

My friend & I decided to get ear piercings while we were in the area on vacation. She got her conch done & I got my tragus (photo attached here). Honestly, I just cant say enough great stuff about this place! Staff here were so friendly & accommodating towards us. We booked my friends appointment last minute online & they allowed me to get a piercing without an appointment while I was there with her. Plus, we were there well after closing time & they didnt rush us at all. It was a Sunday night. And the piercer (I believe her name is Sara) made us feel SO comfortable. Im not sure of the name of the person who helped us pick out our jewelry, but he was also so kind & helpful! The shop itself is so cute, professional & clean. Beautiful & affordable jewelry options as well. Highly recommend!

The place is beautiful, the staff are friendly and welcoming. They have clients of all ages. Vee did my piercings and he is really good. He explains what he is going to do and answers questions patiently first. I felt very comfortable with him!

I got a septum piercing today done by Allison she was absolutely amazing very thorough with the whole process… plus she was an absolute sweetheart highly recommended!!!! The studio its self is so clean and absolutely stunning with a whole bunch of different options for different price points all stunning!! High end piercing experience. Made an appointment along with 4 other girlfriends of mine for a birthday piercing afternoon. The staff was incredibly kind and patient and really informative. We never felt rushed to pick our jewelry and we were quite indecisive. V did my helix and a lobe piercing, very gentle and quick. I love the use of high quality materials. Can’t wait to go back for more!

This place is great!! Most importantly it’s super clean and VERY professional. I have had my jewelry changed multiple times at Athena and each staff member went above and beyond to make sure I was completely comfortable. Each time I was there they asked for consent before they touched me and they kept me informed about what was happening as I was lying on the table! They are always so patient and even took the time to special order me the perfect size barbell for my vertical labret! Highly recommend this studio, a huge thank you to all the staff!

Drew is very welcoming & charismatic, and he really goes out of his way to be an informative resource for clients as far as the ins & outs of piercings, jewelry, and the healing process entirely!Some things that really stood out to me about Athena overall: (1) Drew wrote out the manufacturer, name, and specs for the piece I was pierced with and the estimated return-to-downsize date--and without me even having to ask! I cannot say how much I appreciate this because I DO like to know these parameters especially for the purposes of buying jewelry after healing. (2) Vee put on gloves right in front of me (as opposed to doing so beforehand like some piercing shops do), and he did so while maintaining a sterile field AND aseptic technique. On top of that, the gloves were packaged individually as a pair, which I think really speaks to the shop & staffs commitment to sterility (even in medical offices, gloves come in 100 units per box and are just left out in the open on the wall). As a graduate student in a healthcare professions program, I found this to be really impressive! (3) The piercing I wanted involved a part of my ear w/a little bit of an unconventional anatomy that I was concerned about. Vee & I discussed placement, and although the part of my ear is located such that I cannot really visualize it with a mirror, I trusted Vees opinion. Afterwards, I had my boyfriend take a picture of my ear so I could really see the piercing, and I cannot express how much I love it! Vee is amazing. He could not have made it any more perfect. (4) This is kind of a small thing but Drew asked us if we wanted any water when we first came in. Even if its a small gesture, I just thought it was very sweet & hospitable hahahAnother thing--On our way out, a family with a child came in! The shop as a whole gives off a vibe that is very welcoming, inviting, and even family friendly. I think this is very important because Athena provides an inclusive & safe alternative to other places/options where children may be pierced with a gun.I cant recommend Athena Body Adornment enough and will most definitely be returning!

I’ve gotten my lobes, conch and nips pierced here and I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my piercings. Everyone is so nice and professional , they have a beautiful selection of jewelry and you can tell it’s a very clean shop , will keep coming back for any future piercings

Best place hands down! Drew filled me in with so much info before my appointment, Sara was such a beautiful person let me know how my nipple (pair) procedure was going to be step by step ! I already had anxiety being there but soon as she took me back it was magical ! Felt very comfortable!! Glad I found you guys !!

I am SO glad we did not go to Claire’s (no offense Claire). My seven year old had a wonderful experience getting her first pair of earrings. The staff was so sweet and comforting, the decor super cute. All of the materials and tools used were top grade and they made an extra effort to make sure the earrings wold be as even as possible.I’ve had many piercings myself, so I’m familiar with this world. Grade A work! And honestly I trust them more than someone in the mall.The are not cheap but are TOTALLY worth it for the health of the client. It’s been almost three weeks and my daughters earrings are healing great, look fantastic! Thank you Athena!!!

If you’re looking to get a new piercing, this is the best place to go. I found this studio from the Association of Professional Piercer’s website, they are one of the few studios with certified piercers in the area. Their staff was so well-informed, friendly, professional, and comforting. I was feeling anxious about the piercing so I went to the studio to check it out and look at Jewelry, and Drew answered all my questions and put me at ease. The environment is clean, but also warm and beautifully decorated. The jewelry is high quality and beautiful, I am obsessed with it.The piercing experience was wonderful, I had Sara. The private rooms are also beautifully decorated yet clean and professional. She set up a sterile field and kept everything safe and clean. She told me what she was going to do before doing anything, and made sure I was on the same page.I truly can’t say enough great things about this place and I’d highly recommend it to anybody considering a new piercing.

They are knowledgeable and VERY honest, they encouraged my wife to wait on replacing a stud even though it lost them money. Not only that, they also reimbursed her deposit. Our first visit was an awesome experience, the salon feels unlike most tattoo/body piercing places, a cross between a nice jewelry store and a medspa.Drew, the operations manager, thoroughly explained the procedure in detail, very informative and helpful. They care about their clients and he couldnt stress enough to contact them if anything felt amiss, no matter the day or time.Vee, who performed the piercing, was extremely patient, thorough and professional. The treatment rooms look spotless, everything autoclaved and handled like medical professionals.We will definitely return for permanent jewelry and we highly recommend choosing Athena.

Could not explain the professionalism!I had a piercieng done in the wrong establishment, after complications with it, i decided to find a certified piercing place, end up there are no too many, I drove pretty far to get to the best place! They not only help me with my infected piercing but I got a new beautiful helix! My ear is already 150% better!The treatment I received, the hygene.. the procedure! I really feel I was treated the way this type of procedures should be treated!Super sterilization with everything! SARA IS A PRO! and the store manager over the top! They are super knowledgeable!They actually give you pretty clear instructions in writting in how to care for the piercing, something I did not get in the other place.Explained me everything about it! I even have a follow up appointment for my helix in 6 weeks!I could not be happier!Do not second guess on getting pierced here!

I been wanting to get my nips pierced and found this place. And I am so glad I did, I cant say enough good things about Athenas! Vee was my piercer and the whole experience was so smooth that it wasnt even that painful. Not like I had imagined anyways lol. I went there today to see if they could help me with a botched piercing i had somewhere else. I was in so much pain and did not know what to do!! The front line staff was courteous and very professional. They took me immediately to the back and offered some quick solutions to resolve the problem. The piercing technician was amazing and very professional !! I am already feeling relief and will be returning soon!!

I’ve had multiple piercings here over the past year, and every time is a wonderful experience. Alison is amazing - gentle, precise, talks you through everything she’s doing, and listens as well. Jewelry is on the expensive side but you are paying for quality. I can see and feel the difference between the pieces I’ve purchased here versus the titanium earrings I have from prior years. I’m in the process of replacing my old ones. To me, it’s worth it! Atmosphere at this shop is very welcoming and calm. I’m always greeted with a friendly hello, what can we help you with. Lots of patience when I spend 45 minutes deciding between multiple gorgeous options. Overall a terrific experience and I will keep going back for sure!

I’m not even from Florida and every time I travel here I get services from here and only here. I just took my mom to get her second lobe piercing and decided to get my helix done with her and we had such a great time! We were pierced by Alison who was so great! The piercers and staff really go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable, even if it’s not your first rodeo. I sometimes get light headed/ nauseous and they’re always quick to help (my first piercing with them they gave me a juice box!) and let me take my time after getting pierced. Their establishment is very clean and welcoming and I always leave satisfied and feeling beautiful. I’ve had some nightmare piercing stories but so far I trust Athena more than any other piercing shop. They even gave me recommendations of piercing shops near where I live (which is so appreciated considering how competitive this profession is). Over all, I will keep coming back and recommending this place to anyone I know down south. Thank you guys so much and keep doing what you’re doing!

We are living in delicate times and nerve wrecking when even entering a public place. This place cut me off guard from the moment I called they kindly responded that for COVID policy we cant have multiple guest and that alone was awesome!! I have a history of piercings that where unsuccessful and to be properly explained, denied additional service just for my own protection, taking the additional time to sterilize everything in front of me; Truly this is the place for piercings period. Took the time to explain everything, their kindness, attention to detail, and making sure my goals where met made the previous negative review I read kind of odd. The pricing is worth the experience, the sanitation, and earring of a long lasting piercing. Its refreshing to see establishments be consistent with their professionalism and rapore with clients. Will definitely be coming again for another Tragus.

I chose them because they exclusively focus on piercing (rather than a tattoo shop that does piercing as a side-service), they’re certified, they’re super focused on cleanliness, they’re affirming, and they have excellent reviews.Every moment spent in their shop was amazing. Drew at the front desk was friendly, patient, and knowledgeable - he answered a million questions, walked me through all my options, and made me feel super comfortable.We talked about all the jewelry and style options down to gauging, ring size, fit, and materials. We talked about the pros/cons of each, aftercare, changing it out, and more.Alison was my piercer and is a literal shining example of what you would hope for in a piercer. She explained every step of the process before it happened and as we went. When I turned 5 years old, I got my ears pierced. 40 years later one of them closed up. It took me a few more years to miss wearing earrings. My point being: I was clearly not screaming “repeat customer” when I presented at Athena. Yet my simple basic request was treated w a lot of kindness and respect. Loved it, everyone is so nice. They do currently have a limited inventory due to Covid, but they helped me out with a beautiful BVLA daith piece I absolutely loved. Will definitely be coming here for future piercings.

I had my belly button pierced here by Vee who was absolutely amazing. The shop is super clean and everyone there is friendly. I was super nervous given it’s the first piercing I’ve ever gotten since I was a baby but Vee made me feel totally safe and was professional and polite the entire time. I couldn’t have asked for better service and I would recommend this shop to anyone💕The pricing also isn’t too bad and the shop uses small to moderate businesses for their jewelry products which is a big plus!

The place is cleaner than most doctor’s offices! It’s beautiful. Sarah and her staff are ultimate professionals, couldn’t be nicer and thorough with all details. Both of my daughters got their ears pierced here with outstanding experiences.

I absolutely love this place! I’ve gotten multiple services by them including my nose piercing, & multiple jewelry changes. The staff is extremely helpful & knowledgeable & I was somewhat nervous for my nose piercing but they made me so comfortable!! I have never had any issues with any piercing done by them! I had a cartilage piercing that was bothering me (not done by Athena) & I went to get the jewelry changed out & it feels ten times better once changed!

Eager to change out my nose screw for a ring I called Drew at Athena and he was so helpful! He kindly and knowledgeably advised me over the phone it was for my own safety to hold off on switching and that it was still healing. Thankful for his advice I offered to come buy the ring at his shop and he said it would be best to buy it from the piercer that would be switching out. I was leaving Florida and he kindly looked up APP (association of professional piercers) in Hawaii that would be my best source. He was so friendly and even offered that I could call back if I had more questions and he’d be happy to provide me those contacts when I was ready. It’s so refreshing and heartwarming to call a business out of the blue and have them provide wonderful service to a stranger. All the stars for Athena Body Adornment and Drew :)

I really enjoyed my experience here! I got my nipple piercings done at 12 today . Setting the appointment was easy, I arrived a little early for my appointment so they weren’t open yet. The receptionist was so nice to me and ready to answer all of my questions I had about my piercings. I was pierced by Vee and he was AMAZING! We were cracking jokes he made me feel so comfortable , and let’s get into the vibes of the piecing room it was very cozy! Highly highly recommend extra points for all the greenery ! I’m really glad I found this shop. I wanted a clean and professional shop to get a helix piercing and they were perfect. I’m on the shy side but they were very kind and made me feel comfortable. Sara did my piercing and she was an angel. She walked me through each step and what to expect. I appreciate the time they also took to help me find jewelry that suited my style and anatomy. I highly recommend them and will be coming back in the future.

My girlfriend and i recently came here to get our noses pierced. i wanted my septum and my girlfriend her right nostril. alison was our piercer and she couldn’t have been better. she was super professional and very kind. during our piercings, she gave reassurance and didn’t do anything without consent first. while she was explaining the piercing process for me, she asked me if i wanted my piercing to be in a certain spot. i told her that she knows better than me and she put it in the perfect place! i didn’t eat all day and ended up feeling dizzy right after getting pierced, but i told alison and she immediately layed me down and gave me an apple juice. alison took measurements for my girlfriend’s piercing (since she already has her left nostril pierced) and alison triple checked with us to make sure it was in a spot she would like. everything was super sterile. from the moment we walked in drew was super nice and when we were looking at jewelry, he put on gloves and showed us our options. alison also sanitized everything and she made sure that she washed her hands with everything she touched that could possibly be a cross-contamination with our piercings. needless to say that we had a very comfortable and exciting time getting pierced here!! will definitely come back again… thinking about getting my vertical labret pierced!

My visit today was just for orientation and set an appointment, totally loved the place, he made me feel totally welcome and explained me very well, my appointment is set already and im so exited to do my piercing.

This place is truly amazing! It is super clean and tidy and I love how the jewelry was on display and you can browse around and see what you like. I originally came in wanting a mid cartilage but Alison was super nice and helpful and she educated me on the fact that because of the way my ear folds it will capture moisture and it will not be a good idea. She then recommended I do my Tragus and I am really glad that I did! Sara did my piercing and she was very sweet, calm and super nice! The process was amazing and she did it very quickly and educated me about what to do next in terms of care. Since I was from Toronto she even wrote down a shop I can go to in Canada that sell similar jewelry where I can downsize the back of my earring after 4-6weeks!I chose this place because I really loved that they carry very feminine, small dainty earrings that are not bulky at all. I wanted something that is small and not to flashy and that is exactly what I got!Thank you so much again!!

I would first like to say that Im not new to the world of body modification. I have dozens of tattoos and piercings. Ive always found the kind of establishment that offers those services very uninviting and quite frankly a little intimidating for a lot of people. When I walked into Athenas, I did not get that feeling at all. Beautifully decorated, and exceptionally clean. Your staff, especially Vee, were absolutely wonderful. I took my daughters for my oldest daughters birthday. First, let me say that the place was magnificent look more like expensive jewelry store then a piercing shop. Completely luxurious and ultimately professional the amount of diverse variety that they have is unparalleled. One daughter got a cartilage piercing the other got a second nose piercing so I went out to the car to make a call before I can even dial the number they were both done! And by no means in any rush, theyre just that professional there. Neither daughter at any pain at all before during or after and they couldnt believe the speed and professionalism that was shown. I cannot rave enough about this place and I certainly will go back time and time again and get more jewelry for them as they fully heal. Absolutely first class experience the entire way, expert advice, again before, during and after and all at a remarkably affordable price!

Sara is an absolute doll! I got a VCH done with her tonight and I am beyond pleased with the service from the time I walked in to the time I left. I did have to wait a few minutes past my appointment time but nothing too serious. Sara was very informative and made me feel extremely comfortable. Any questions I had, she answered with ease and she made the entire process very relaxing. It was quick and not that painful, just moderate discomfort at the time of piercing and overall painless thereafter. I HIGHLY recommend her for all your needs. I did spend more than I had anticipated overall but I honestly would change it for the world. The service and experience were worth every penny!

I really enjoyed my experience with Sara. I thought she was very knowledgeable and professional. She is very thorough when explaining the after-care process as well as each step throughout the piercing process. The facility is super clean and everything was sterilized beforehand. I even noticed she took extra steps that my former piercer did not (like using iodine and positioning the piercing so that if I wanted a nose ring, it would look good either way). My piercing came out great and I’ll definitely be back for more!

I pierced my nose three times from ages 18-22 and each time the piercings did not heal well. Others told me to just let the idea go of having a nose piercing. Athena Body Adornment is the only place I’ll get pierced. Sara has been my piercer since 2016/2017 and I will follow her into hell if I have to. She is so kind and knowledgeable and never makes me feel like the idiot I am - after repeatably ripping my nose piercing out.Her staff is also the greatest. Mel, who handles the front of house, is an absolute gem. Super sweet and knowledgeable as well. Vee helped me one time when I first ripped my nose piercing out, she was amazing as well. I have nothing but amazing things to say about Athens Body adornment. All of the employees have been extremely welcoming, patient, and helpful. I spent an hour with a friend looking at and placing jewelry and never felt rushed. The piercing process was great and it’s healing beautifully, it was barely sore. I recently ordered jewelry through them for my rook piercing and they were extremely reasonable priced and very helpful! I will be driving another 2 hours one way to be pierced by them again without hesitation.

Have had a couple piercings done here. Also bought some jewelry.Service is top-notch and Sara is a total pro. She answered my questions and was very helpful in placement and guiding me through process of piercing both nostrils. She also pierced my girlfriends Faith which came out really good.Jewelry pricing is a bit expensive but totally worth it for the material and her experience. They also carry some really dope brands that have some cool designs so if they dont carry what you want, it can be special ordered.

Such a great experience! I wanted the curated ear look, and Sara was so patient and made great suggestions. She was honest about what would work for my ears. This was my second time receiving a piercing from Athena. I swore the first time was the best experience I’ve ever had. I stand corrected. I remembered why I was persistent to return for my next one. I’ve wanted my septum pierced for years. I was always nervous or worried about judgment. After three years of debating I did it! The staff is absolutely amazing. Extremely satisfied with the services!! I brought my 18 year old for cartilage piercing and ended up getting a conch piercing for myself. Vee was very professional and made the whole thing quick and (mostly ) painless. Very sweet attitude from both Vee and front desk. They helped with selection and placement with patience. I used to give this place 5 stars I have spent over $1,500 at this store buying 3 separate pieces of jewelry and getting 2 separate piercings. I am trying to get a jewelry just inserted that is solid gold with a diamond. And they refuse to do so because of liability reasons, which is b*******They just want me to spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars to buy their own jewelry. I found Athena when I was in Ft. Lauderdale for work because I was looking for BVLA jewelry. I’m so glad I stopped by. I got a new BVLA piece for my conch piercing and ended up also getting a daith piercing with Anatometal jewelry. They are the nicest, warmest, and most patience piercers everywhere. Getting a piercing is something Ive always wanted to do so putting in the most research led me over to the wonderful people over at Athena Body Adornment. My appointment to get my nose pierced was easily scheduled online and arriving there was quick. Keep an eye out for it while using a GPS, because it can be easily passed. Very much a gem of a location, I was greeted warmly by Drew who was thorough and informative on the different pieces and piercing options. I had the pleasure of getting my piece done by Sara and shes an angel! Communicated the entire process and told me what to expect during and after the procedure. I went to Athena Body Adornment while visiting family in my home town after having problems with a piercing I received at another shop earlier this year. Sara was able to help me figure out the cause of the issue and switch out my jewelry to help it heal. She also recommended me to another piercer to have it monitored in the town I’m living in now outside of South Florida. Very professional, clean, knowledgeable, and informative. I wish I originally came to her to get my piercing in the first place. Highly recommend!

Beautiful shop. However, if it’s necessary to make an appointment, that information should be posted on the exterior of the shop. I waited for 10 minutes before an employee apologized for the lack of service. This is when it was mentioned that staffing is based on appointments. Also, if customers aren’t allowed to touch jewelry, some signage would be great. It’s a jewelery store! Customers will be compelled to touch. When a display was taken out for me to “look” at, I was quickly asked to not touch.

I got my nipples pierced today, and it was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. The shop is clean and very cute. The woman working at the FOH was friendly and knowledgeable, and took the time to explain the different barbell options and aftercare. Vee was fantastic - they walked me through every step of the process, and made the piercing as quick and calming as possible. This is the only place I will get pierced from now on.

I’ve been pierced by Sara and Justin, and they’re great. My navel was repierced a month ago, and my second and third lobe piercings were done today. The jewelry used is top-notch and absolutely beautiful—worth it cost. They will do free checkups on your piercings as it heals, and will answer ALL your questions. Im very happy with what Ive gotten done, and plan to continue using this place as a regular patron. Definitely recommend!

Justin did my piercings and he was awesome!!! He was super nice and gave great advice. I was a little nervous and he calmed me down and it was overall a great experience. Came in after having an awful piercing experience elsewhere and Sara was the most helpful and patient person ever. She was super thorough and took out my botched piercings for me, and gave me a gorgeous new daith with zero issues whatsoever. She is extremely keen on sterilization and talks you through everything while she is doing it. Will only be coming here for future piercings from now on! It may be expensive but it is so worth it for the quality and care that you get.

Girl at the front desk was SUPER RUDE! I came in and asked for a piercing and didn’t know the right term and she corrected me trying to make me feel stupid using an attitude for no reason. She proceeded to show me the jewelry while rolling her eyes. Horrible customer service. I will not be back.

After a horror story experience, I visited Athenas Body Adornment for some recon on my septum piercing. She was AMAZING! Extremely knowledgeable on my piercing, gauge, and size, and provided valuable feedback on the overall aesthetics of my piercing. She was extremely professional, and I left more than satisfied with her work. She carries gorgeous body jewelry, all titanium or gold for long lasting wear, and even though I couldnt splurge on a very beautiful piece there, I left very happy with the size and shape of my new jewelry. Just had the best expierence with Sara! This is a great place to go if it’s your first or 20th piercing. The shop is very clean and they make sure you know the department of health standards and everything they do to exceed them! First off the place is beautiful and very clean and the service is top class. I had an appointment with Lina as I had a piercing that was done somewhere else that was giving me issues and I thought I just needed to change the belly bar. When Lina looked at it she informed me very sympathetically that it was rejecting and the best thing to do was remove it and let it heal and I could possibly re-pierce in the future. I was so very appreciative of her honesty and gentleness because she could have just sold me a pricey piece of jewelry knowing it likely wouldnt work. But she didnt...she removed it for me and advised me how to care for it. She was an absolute dream...knowledgeable, patient, kind and gentle. Absolutely phenomenal business and owner. I cannot say this enough - Sara is knowledgable, gentle and everything else you could want from a piercer. Ive had 2 piercings done by Sara and at this point all of my piercings have been switched to the jewlery she has at her shop. You are paying for the best quality and care you can get when you come here. The aftercare instructions are clear and some of the best Ive had in my experience of getting piercings. I dont even live in South Florida but I travel there just for the experience of seeing Sara and her beautiful jewelry collection.

Sarah is amazing and always does a great job. I love her selection of jewelry and the fact that its 14 karat gold. I drive 40 minutes just to go here because of her professionalism and her quality. Her husband works with her on the weekends and is also as equally helpful and nice. They make a great team.

Such an awesome place! Everyone is cool but professional. I had my tragus pierced here and it is healing beautifully and looks great! I came in today seeking help and advice for a nose bump that I have after getting my nose pierced at another shop. After my experience, I can say that I absolutely regret getting my nose pierced at this other shop and really wish I would have found this place first. The staff were extremely friendly, knowledgable, and helpful even though I got my piercing done at another place. They provided me with their aftercare brochure to help with the healing process and gave me some helpful tips. They helped me pick out new jewelry that would help relieve irritation and even changed it out for me. I will be back for my next piercing!

What an amazing place and so happy to meet Sarah. She is soooo knowledgeable. I had the pleasure of getting a piercing at Purity Body Arts in New Orleans and Sabrina (who was a student of Sarah’s) suggested I go to Athena once I got home for adjustments. I kept pulling one of my ear piercings out and Sarah suggested some possible reasons why. I got a beautiful peacock opal to replace the pulled one. I will definitely be going back for adjustments and for another piercing!💛🌸. Also very clean and sterile.

I walked in to get my nose pierced but was told I needed an appointment. No biggie, I decided I would buy the jewelry I liked bc it was going to be my Christmas gift. I was then told that I couldnt buy the jewelry bc im not getting the nose pierced that day. Why was that? So if my nose was already pierced then I could never buy jewelry from your place of business? You guys only help first time piercings? I was very disappointed. When a customer walks in trying to give you their money why turn them down? I would like to know!

Sara did an excellent job and runs a really clean operation. She explained everything in detail and showed me the needle package with the indicator that changes color after its sterilized. I felt really comfortable and would trust her with any piercing.

Yesterday my boyfriend and I went to Athena’s to get my nostril pierced. The front desk man was so polite and took his time explaining the healing process and the jewelry selection. Later on I got pierced by Vee and let me say…THEY ARE AMAZING!!!! They made the piercing process so comfortable even tho I’m the biggest baby when it comes to piercings. I will definitely come back for a piercing in the future. I highly recommend Vee for your piercing!

Sarah was absolutely amazing. I got piercings done at another shop...they were inflamed and raw, also done sub par..Sarah saw me anyway, changed the piercing out and advised me of what could happen and the measures needed to correct it. If I could give this place 10 stars out of 5 I would, I can’t recommend them enough.I’ve gotten my nostril and septum pierced by them and everyone who works here is extremely nice, helpful, honest, and professional. The store itself is also extremely clean.If you’re looking to get any type of piercing done, I will always recommend Athena to anyone. I’ll make a new review once I get a tattoo from them as well. :-P

Vee was an incredible piercer! They made sure I knew everything about my new piercings and answered all of my questions. They did an amazing job making sure my placement was even and that I knew the potential risks with my anatomy. Vee also suggested I be pierced at a smaller gauge due to my anatomy which I greatly appreciated. The artists at Athena care about your satisfaction and not just making money. The shop was very clean and inviting. I highly recommend getting pierced here!!

Spontaneously went in here a few weeks ago for a piercing, without really knowing what I wanted. Even though I was indecisive, Justin was really helpful in helping me pick a spot that would look great on my ear! His level of professionalism was by far top notch and he made me feel really comfortable. Additionally, his level of knowledge and passion for piercings really shows in the integrity of his work. My daughter and I got our noses pierced together while on vacation in Pompano Beach. The facility was definitely the cleanest piercing shop I’ve ever been in. Owner was sweet as pie and her front desk assistant was knowledgeable and patient with my partner and I as we chose our jewelry. As people passing through, I appreciated their ability to accommodate our needs as most shops up north don’t allow ANY piercing/jewelry change/etc below the mask. I couldn’t be more grateful that I found this place. A month ago, I got my nose pierced in another place. I called yesterday to make an appointment because my piercing got a bump. Today, I went to the location and let me tell you how amazing it is. It is super cute and minimalist, the details and the place make it so special. I wanted to get a cartilage piercing for my birthday (my first one) and I had no idea where to start as I was a little nervous to get it done. So glad I found Sara at Athena Body Adornment. She was very sweet and so professional and answered all of my questions and completely put me at ease during the procedure. It was not bad at all (I was expecting worse) and I would absolutely go back to Sara for any future piercings!!

I came in to get my nipples pierced and Justin did an exceptional job! I went over to the shop beforehand to ask about suggestions. I was in between 3 different piercings. I spoke to Sara and she helped a lot explain what I should and shouldnt do and why. I did not get pierced by her but did speak to some co workers who know who she is and only had positive comments and experiences.I made an appointment and went back Justin was there. They gauged my belly button the very first time i ever got it pierced. it was also in the wrong place and the wrong type of piercing for me. i was bleeding for a week straight. worst pain of my life.

Today was our second visit and second kid making the decision to get their ears pierced. Very clean and friendly staff. The piercer walked my 9 year old daughter through each step and was amazing. The only place to go if you are interested in getting a piercing.

I went in there to get my tragus pierced and I was so nervous lol but Justin was awesome! He made me feel very comfortable. Before I knew it he was done! I am so in love with my piercing! Everything was so nice and clean! I will definitely return and recommend to everyone.

I had been eyeing Athena Body Adornment shop for months (I live out of state) and I was SO happy that I was finally able to get my piercings done here when I was in town. I got a double helix piercing done by Justin and he was AH-MAZING! I can’t elaborate how remarkable my entire experience was—from the moment I walked in the door until I left. Justin was extremely kind, gave me his professional opinion about the best technique to achieve the double cartilage piercing I wanted (with my small ears), and he was very patient with me as I sorted through the WIDE variety of jewelry (literally the hardest part because there are so many beautiful pieces). I’ve had several ear piercings and issues with healing in the past, Justin took the time to look at them and give me advice on caring for them to improve healing. The jewelry is pricey but worth it as it’s all authentic metal and gems/stones. I find that it’s important to consider the integrity of the jewels used for new piercings as it affects the healing process. Overall great experience and I would highly recommend. I will be returning for another piercing the next time I’m in town :)

Finally a piercing shop thats more than just Stainless Steel jewelry! I love the different styles and the QUALITY of jewelry that they had to offer.I prefer 14k yellow gold jewelry styles and they had PLENTY of options to choose from. Jazmine helped with choosing what styles I liked and was very clear with the pricing of the jewelry. I was getting a Daith piercing and also a stacked lobe on my left ear.As a customer it truly helps having such a variety to choose from when it comes to jewelry. I dont like having to settle for plain jewelry while my piercings heal. You definitely dont have to settle with this place.I was pierced by Sara and she is absolutely AMAZING! She was extremely informative about the piercings and the healing process. She was very excited when I mentioned that I wanted to go a curated ear with different colors and jewelry. I will only be doing my piercings with her from now. The pain was very minimal with piercings she did on me even the Daith piercing.Great shop very clean and open, I love the service I received from Jazmine and Sara. I will be returning in the near future to reduce my post (stacked lobe). And I will be upgrading some jewelry for my other piercings as well.

The receptionist was very polite and informative. She went over cleaning instructions and made me feel comfortable. The technician who performed the piercing followed sterile procedures and told me every step that would happen. I was thoroughly impressed.

The people here are very nice, cool and professional. I had my septum and right tragus, as my first piercings, done here same day by Sara three months ago. And then my left tragus by a visiting piercer, Kat, during the Friday 13th special last weekend. Had a wonderful experience and will definitely be coming back! 😙

This place is very nice along with everyone that was there today. Justin did really good at putting my daughter at ease for her belly button piercing. That being said, I think their jewelry is over priced. It was only a belly button and we paid right around $150. Thats the reason why Im not giving them 5 star.

They are amazing. Marin the piercer ahhhh such an amazing human. Made me feel comfortable the entire time and everything was done before I knew it. Everything was clean and sterile ugh if i could give more stars I would. I also plan on coming back here for my third cartilage and nose piercing!!!

I’ve had around 20 piercings done by Justin, including nipples and VCH. He’s extremely professional and has never once made me feel uncomfortable- if anything, he’s made me feel a lot more calm and comfortable getting piercings done and has a relaxing way of counting down and breathing that really helps to minimize discomfort. There are a lot of scumbags in the tattoo and piecing industry and I can confidently say Justin is not one of them. He’s one of the only piercers I trust to do things correctly, cleanly and in a professional matter.

First time getting piercing, Sara pierced my septum and made the entire experience extremely comfortable from the moment I walked in the door. She is professional, personable and a true expert. Highly Reccomend to anyone, great experience. Thank you Sara!:)

Just went with my mom and aunt. I got a nose piercing mom got her conch and my aunt got cartilage. They were extremely nice, helpful, and patient. Also the shop was incredibly clean. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a place to get pierced :)

This place is the real deal. Very very VERY clean. You can tell the piercers have a passion for their line of work, they actually take the time to sit with you and talk about piercing(s) you would like and see whether it would work for you or not and why and on the off chance that the piercing you wanted wouldnt work with you they take extra time to walk you through your other options, show you how it would look. They are just amazing and come highly recommended to anyone who loves a safe, clean, and B-E-A-UTIFUL piercing.

They have nice jewelry but its so overpriced, I ended up spending over $100 on just a cartilage piercing and found right after that other places have some of the same simple gold rings from the same place charge way less. Lack of communication I had no idea I had to go back to get the stem changed two times, make sure you ask full details before getting a piercing.

Lord were do I start?!?! First of all to understand how great of an experience I had here you have to know what a chicken i am about pain. I have had piercings before in my life and have fainted. Im the person that gets nervous to get my eyebrows threaded.... so with that being said, to say that when Sara pierced my tragus and it didnt hurt half as bad as a blood draw, says a whole lot. Sara was very thorough with the whole process . Was super gentle and understanding of how nervous I was. Everything is very sterile and just so well put together. There is a plethora of jewelry choices that are so cute and stylish. Just overall loved my experience. Was referred here by my friend who got her tragus pierced not too long ago herself. 10/10 recommend this place and Sara in particular ((((:

I went to get my helix pierced a couple of weeks ago now and the process was super fast and easy! Sara explained everything in detail and answered all of my questions. My piercing has been healing very nicely :)

My experience was great with my piercer, Lina. She gets a 5 star. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tbh. When I called the shop, before arriving I was told that it’s $70 to pierce, and had to go online and booked my appointment for reservation. My total came up to $146 including my $20 that I put down as a deposit. I PAID $146 for a VCH piercing. 🤯🤬🤯. When I Google piercing around my area, I chose them because it was a female shop. I regret it in a sense of amount I paid. When I could of gotten the VCH pierce for $70.00 and $90.00. I had a straight ring. On the receipt I paid for $70 fee, $40.00 for titanium gem, threaded titanium ball, $10.00, titanium threaded straight barbell $40.00 and then tax $6.30.I paid for every piece of metal. Including the piercer’s labor. I thought when you get piercings you get a ring automatically. I have a few piercings so I know. I didn’t ask for any particular ring. so I was shock. The cashier came to me and showed me some rings and basically say choose. I did. And I paid. I was disappointed in the price for sure.

Expensive but great service. Won’t be going back. Wish they weren’t so pricey and gave you the total of everything(out the door price) before arriving. Also never received a $20 refund through square cash the front desk person “sent me” because I paid a deposit twice on my initial visit. I had to return 2weeks after piercing because the person put the wrong back in and the earring went inside ear. So they charged me again for longer back.

The little girl who has no idea how to treat potential customers, in my case a potential repeat customer, answered the phone. I asked some extremely basic questions (3-5?). She immediately copped a bad attitude even though I was trying to explain to her that I was purely asking those questions out of justifiable curiosity about products and services. Im brand new to the area. Thesis? I wouldnt let her feed me if I was homeless and starving.Absolutely trashy behavior. *In reply to the owners retort*I was asking if it was a small shop. Not a small business, which is how the little girl, as in immature, was misperceiving my question. When I was attempting to clarify, she rudely interrupted and began a vehemently offensive rant. I was extremely polite until I was forced to listen to her unneccessary and volatile diatribe.And again, I did not say I was a repeat customer as I specifically included the word potential just before mentioning repeat customer. I simply asked to come in to view your merchandise and was rudely and unwarrantly treated abhorrently. I never once mentioned or even suggested getting any piercings on a day that wasnt scheduled. I have no idea what kind of day you had that would cause you to speak with such volitivity to a potential...let me say that again to be sure this is comprehended this time...*POTENTIAL* repeat customer, but I most surely didnt deserve the tone or the manner of delivery I received. Im normally a very nice guy and easy to be around. Except when people speak to me like you did. I hope your customer service skills greatly improve in the near future.I also clearly said that Im new to the area. Another example of poor reading comprehension youve now displayed blatantly.And as to the metaphor of homeless, you should probably read a dictionary and learn the difference between metaphor and a real thing that actually happens. I happen to run a charity for homeless veterans. What I said, I stand by. I wont take or buy anything from a person with such poor and pathetic soft skills. You might want to do some reading of some top-rated self-help books.

Let me just say I am disgusted at this place!! After hearing good things I finally decided to go and get my VCH piercing. I was pierced by Justin and not only did he make me feel uncomfortable during the piercing he made unwanted comments about my anatomy. I literally cried when I left and felt disgusting. This man should not be piercing females. I cant even fathom the idea of him piercing teenage girls!!! Please stay safe ladies and stay away from this place.
