Pretty In Ink

I had my eyeliner and eyebrows permanently tattooed by Sarah. As a cosmetologist myself, I’ve always had barely there eyebrows and would draw them on myself often making them crooked or ending up wiping it off in frustration as I could never get them the way I wanted, taking up most of my “getting ready” time. I always wanted to get them done but was worried I wouldn’t like them and be stuck with them. Sarah took her time to ask me how I wanted my eyebrows and listened to my concerns. She was meticulous and I felt confident in letting her do her thing. It turns out she also has a long history of being a licensed cosmetologist! My brows and eyeliner turned out absolutely amazing and I can’t believe I waited this long. Thank you Sarah! I’m loving my new look ♥️

I have been here a couple times now, and always see Bel. She has done 2 of my tattoos, and my septum piercing. She is amazing, friendly, clean, and I always have great conversations with her. Overall, the shop is very clean and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. I will be back for more!

Michelle is amazing! I cant recommend her work highly enough. Shes now done both my permanent eyeliner and a traditional tattoo for me and I suggest her studio to everyone I talk to about tattoos. Modern and clean describes both her studio and her style - her line work is awesome!

This place is amazing!! Michelle is literally the best!!!! I brought her a handwritten note from my grandmother, something very personal and important for me. I asked her to tattoo my grandmothers note exactly as it was written in her own handwriting and she blew me away! I LOVE my tattoo. I tear up when I look at it and love showing it off. Her line work is so fine and exact, beautiful work!!!

I had followed Pretty In Ink on social media for quite a while & really admire Michelles work. I had some free time coming up so I scheduled an appointment. Once I saw the mock up of my idea, I knew this is where Id be getting my first tattoo. I made the long drive from Virginia to Pompton Lakes NJ the weekend after Thanksgiving. The shop was super clean. The staff was personable & attentive. I couldnt wait to get started! The procedure took almost 5 hours but Michelle, her assistant Pete and I engaged in lots of conversation which made the time fly by. I couldnt have been happier with the finished product! They were thorough with prepping the finished product for the healing proccess & making sure I understood all aspects of after care for optimal healing. I totally enjoyed my experience at Pretty In Ink & if I get the itch for another tattoo, I would not hesitate making that drive.

I had heard about Michelle from a family member and I went to her to get my rib tattooed the experience was fantastic. Her shop is clean and super professional. Not only that but line work is amazing! Definitely going back for more work!

I CAN NOT recommend pretty in ink enough! Michelle took my idea and ran with it and gave me the most perfect tattoo. It was even better than what I wanted. Just so down to earth and professional at the same time. Such a comfortable laid back space.
